Guest Reviews
- Alice (9/5): Lovely, friendly vibe. - Good location. Lovely cool apartments close to the river. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Beautiful gardens.
- Fergus (9/5): -
- Joahnna (4/5): The location is easy to find and amazing. But there are people who are swimming past 10pm that was so loud you can hear - Location is nice and walkable near the train station, night market and the River Kwai Bridge. The room is quite old, the bed’s sheet is itchy. The ceiling has cobwebs, toilet shower is not working well.
- raja0321 (10/5): - This guesthouse I am staying 2nd time this year, I really love this place very calm, quiet and the receptionist take care of all your needs very well. The bathroom should be bit better, there was water leak in the wash basin and shower was not good quality...however, on my request they changed the shower immediatly.
- Kimmo (8/5): -
- Walter (10/5): Great place - Location..room..pool
- Thierry (6/5): Zweck zur Durchreise erfüllt. - Unkompliziertes Check-in und Check-out.
gute Lage.
- David (9/5): - For the price, the inclusion of a pool was exceptional.
Great location.
Had a safe and fridge Curtains did not hang very well.

- Toni (3/5): Got worse as it went on - Hotel was in a great location next to the river and close to bars and restaurants. When walking in the room looked nice but there seemed to be a sewerage problem that got worse as time went on, the room and bed felt dirty, wasn’t very comfortable, and on my last night sat down at the desk and saw bugs looking a bit like ants crawling in and out of the wood in the desk, not just one or two there was heaps of them, must have been some kind of wood mites. Couldn’t wait to get out of there in the morning that’s for sure!
- Andrew (8/5): - Conveniently located for the train station.
- Mateusz (7/5): -
- Dominik (8/5): -
- Tyler (1/5): - Good location Hot water didn't work, room is so old

- Svend (8/5): Good place for a short stay in Kanchanaburi - The localization is nice, with a nice view on the river (though, this also brings in some mosquitos), and it close to some nice restaurants, and live bars. It is also not too far from the night market. The rooms are a bit old and could be refreshed, but they are good enough. The swimming pool, though small is very nice, with a few bench to enjoy the sun. The TVs are very old, and nearly unusable (not so nice with kids who might get bored easily). There is no real shower : it is directly in the bathroom without curtains, and the heater is one directly on the flow, so the flow is rather limited. And then the whole bathroom is wet. Because we were during the low season, the bar was not opened and we could not get a cocktail around the swimming pool. But I think this is not the case during the high season.

- Jamie (8/5): Good in Kanchanaburi - Noble Night Guesthouse is tucked down a small and quiet lane. Many restaurants, supermarkets etc on the road outside. 15 minutes walk to the bridge, museums and nightmarket. The Guesthouse is clean and has a lovely pool to cool down in. The staff is very helpful. A little tired in places. No meals here but the guesthouse further down the lane makes wonderful breakfast and dinners.

- gibb (6/5): Great Location - The Location was Great Very Old and below expectations
- Marcel (4/5): Een vreselijk slecht hotel!
- DARIUSZ KIENDYŚ (10/5): - Idealne miejsce do głównej ulicy 200 metrów. Świetny basen . Piekny widok z tarasu basenowego.Cisza i spokój . Hotel z akcentem drewna uliczka z.roslinnoscia.

- Grace (8/5): Very good -
- Natasha (4/5): Dark and Dingy. Electricity unsafe. - Great location easy to find.Nice pool. Room 19 was dirty .Most of the sockets do not work. The whole place is dark and dingy apart from pool. Unhelpful staff. Not interested. We moved to the next hotel pong pehn just down the lane . Much nicer.Much cleaner. Similar price. Staff here were much more attentive, and the older lady has very good tips for travel.
- Maz (9/5): Very good - I liked my apartment right next to the pool, there is no kettle but hot water always available at reception for my coffee, great location, nice pool abit run down here & there but great value & I had a bath which I was happy about 2 bottles of water brought to my room each day air con was good and very quiet which for me was great. I wud stay again. I loved kanchanburi. WiFi is a bit unreliable, but staff always helped with this.
- Lesley (8/5): Clean and comfortable - Nice and quiet off the main road. Pool area overlooking the river. Bed's quite comfortable. Garden area really nice and plenty of places to sit.
Plenty of places nearby for eat and drink and a sports bar. Within walking distance of railway station and the river Kwai bridge but plenty of tuk tuks and taxis Bathroom cramped and no curtain for shower so water everywhere. We booked breakfast but where it was, next door, was shut for 3 days. Owner had to do it instead
If you're going to Bangkok afterwards, unless you've got all day don't book from here as it's on a glorified public bus stopping at bus station for nearly an hour before we got going. 4 hrs
- Adrian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jean (10/5): Exceptional - Worth the price
- Tania (10/5): Exceptional - Great Location! Lovely sunset view. Great wooden rooms old school. Good breakfast !
- Alexander (8/5): Very good -
- Saunders (8/5): Very good - In the main street for bars and restaurants. If you are there for Song Kran, you will be drenched, it is in the middle of the festival. 1km from Bridge over the River Kwai. 2km from the bus terminal. Not far from Night Market. 1) The wifi was terrible. We barely had 1 bar, and even then, it kept cutting out.
2) The bathroom was functional but has definitely seen better days.
- Luke (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adamirwin87 (9/5): Superb - Great hotel, will stay again in the future
- Gary (7/5): Good central area - Good..just short walk to have breakfast Rooms need an update
- Mads (8/5): Very good - Very cosy guesthouse with friendly staff, colonial style buildings and a nice garden/terrace area with pool. Quiet location by the River Kwai in the central part of Kanchanaburi.
- Rob (9/5): Fantastic - Location decor and swimming pool area
- Alice (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely pool area, great location right in the centre but still quiet, with views to the river. Lovely staff. Thank you!
- Laura (8/5): Very good - Nice place, good views. Horrible poolside chairs and not enough umbrellas.
- Roberto (9/5): Superb -
- Alfons (7/5): Great location and good price, classical style. - Decent pool and lounge area with afternoon sun, very good price. The breakfast was served at the hostel across the street where there was a fixed menu with tiny servings, long waiting time and less than friendly staff.
- Jasper (8/5): Very good - Good location close to the river, station and bridge over the river kwai. Also a very nice pool and area to hangout. The beds could use an update
- Nightwhite (9/5): Superb - Rooms is nice and we had a porch just outside
Swimmingpool is quite big !
A view over river kwai from the sunbeds
Nice staff
Breakfast just around the corner
Bars and restaurants about 75 meters away
They clean room everyday if you want
Next time I go to Kanchanaburi I can think about staying here again for shure 😁 Bed is really hard
- Aneta (9/5): Superb -
- Gary (8/5): Very good - Position Nothing
- Paul (8/5): Very enjoyable and i will return. - I did not have breakfast. The location was excellent. The staff are very friendly. There is no kettle in the room for making coffee and tea. There was no problem with anything else.
- Lisa (8/5): Suprr - Location was brilliant on the main strip of restaurants and bars. Gorgeous view over the river. Nice pool. Needs a bit of updating but for the money you can't really complain. Annoying water pump outside the room that kept us awake
- Tracey (5/5): Just the room let this little gem down - Great location for visiting Kwai bridge, Jeath museum and cemetery. Lovely staff. Nice pool with very large padded sun loungers (didn't use). Very welcome breakfast with more westernised menu. They are building a brand new hotel with Pool which should be ready in April of this year 2025 - this looks very nice. The gardens and patio areas were really nice with lots of plants, decor and pretty tiled areas. The room was Moore like a shed with wooden floors and wooden walls, dark and old. Bed was too hard and with only 1 sheet and a thin blanket, we were cold during the night. In fairness, I presume and hope that they will totally renovate these rooms once the hotel is finished.
- Adam (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, very quiet and the room was comfortable and clean. Great value for money. They had space to park my motorbike. I will stay again.
- Graham (7/5): Good - The guest house is in a quiet street (soi) off the noisy main street of bars and cafes and traffic. The bonus is a pleasant small pool and garden on the River Kwai waterfront. Walkable to war cemetery, museum and the over-touristy bridge of fame, or a 60 baht tuk-tuk ride. Good cheap breakfast next door at Pong Phen guest house.
- John (9/5): Superb - Everything Nothing
- Jason (10/5): Exceptional - Great hotel for the price !
- Tim (10/5): Exceptional - Just off the main road where there are bars and restaurants.
- Ľubošš (8/5): Very good - Location, price We got single beds instad of double
Little bit Old furniture už
- Lemarie (8/5): Very good -
- Lisa (8/5): Very good -
- Kerry (9/5): Happy stay - Good location, big room. Staff happy. Need more movable parasols/shade around pool area.
- Symo81 (9/5): Nice stay. - Lovely pool, great views of the river. Very easy check in & 10 mins walk from the train station. It is a little tired in areas but for the price it's a bargain.
- Gary (10/5): Exceptional - Was well located for local bars ,cafe eating places. Not to far walk from The Bridge and Jeath war museum. Night Market not far walk away. Place was very well kept all staff very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast included. Could not dislike the place.
- Balázs (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephen (7/5): Good - Have been coming here for over 15 years now, the last time before the "lock down"!!! The place is still worth visiting, but it's starting to look a bit tired now. Great staff. great location and a lovely pool. I hope things get busier there to ensure the future of a fantastic guesthouse. Sad to see the place looking a little tired now.
- Adam (7/5): Good -
- Thomas (9/5): Superb - Friendly staff Nothing
- R4ytl0 (7/5): Good -
- Lindsay (4/5): Disappointing - Good location, friendly staff Pool was ok. Very dated ,room was very dark and had a couple of lightbulbs out. Staff were unable to fix them. Bathroom very tired, lot of mould all around bath surround. Not a good look.
- Gregory (7/5): Good - Great staff It’s dated but reflected in the price, therefore no reason to complain at all.
- Aaron (7/5): Good -
- Ronald (1/5): Dirty and advertised was un true - Did not have what it advertised.Only nice area was the pool.
Could not even make a coffee in room.had to go to reception even then only 2 cups available.Dirty room, lady next room demanded a refund and she went to another hotel.no hot water in room, had safe but not bolted to anything. When you go out you need to leave room keys at front desk in view for anyone to take.Front desk offen left unattended.
Never to return See above
- William (9/5): Clean and comfortable --- Great location.... Bars and resturants nearby - Location No Tolitries
- Shane (7/5): Good -
- Stefano (8/5): Very good - . The position is fine at 80 baht distance from the bus station you will use to arrive/depart/go Erawan. Pretty mild hotel, in the area all are overpriced (if you compare even with amazing resorts in Phuket or Samui), this has an affordable price, the room looks very old style, clean nonetheless. The personnel doesn't really speak English so communication is difficult
- Rodney (8/5): Very good -
- Kanniapan (9/5): Superb - I like the location of the guest house . All the shops are walking distance. I didn't really like the boat ride from the place of stay to the three places because the boat has no life jacket whereas before booking the counter person said life jacket was available...Quite risky but anyway thank God all went smoothly..
- Hugo (9/5): Superb -
- Jinendra (10/5): Exceptional -
- J (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tony (7/5): Good -
- Clive (2/5): Very poor -
- Wendy (8/5): Very good - Lovely staff. Great space outside of your room to sit and chat. Great spot, near bridge over the river Kwai. Loved it. Beds a bit hard.
- Vivienne (7/5): Nice stay - Pool Doors were not very secure even when locked
- Robert (8/5): Fantastic place to stay. We even booked another night! - Beds are big and comfortable
Hot water at reception
Refrigerator works great
A/C+ a fan!
Spacious rooms
Swimming pool
A nice dock for watching sunsets
Beautiful views
Within a 2km walk of most places, so you don't have to spend any money on transportation Sometimes the toilet wouldn't flush all the way. We had to give it 2-3 flushes (No, we didn't flush the toilet paper).
You can only pay with credit card if it is online.
- Alexandra (9/5): Ideal for a short 2 night stay. - Simple but perfect twin room which suited our needs. Good location. Lovely pool. Situated right by the River Kwai. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Nothing.
- Christopher (7/5): Good - Location, near restaurant and bars Bit dated but value for money
