Outrageous rate. Offered no apologies or discounts. Then when brought to her attention the website.... she insulted me and insisted she was right. Not recommended at all!

• Thomas (10/5): Would stay again. - Very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast bar was ok. Pretty average. But it was convenient.

• Zoey1996 (10/5): Great stay! - The room was very clean and comfortable. I had a walk-in shower with a seat and grab bars, so it felt very safe. There are plenty of outlets and ports for charging devices. The lighting is good. The bed was comfortable, and I like the pillow selections. I enjoyed the breakfast at Burger Theory, both filling and delicious. The staff of the hotel and restaurant are friendly and efficient. It was a good place to stay after a late arrival at the nearby airport.

• n0uzn (8/5): Clean but chilly - Have stayed at this property for several years while attending an annual conference elsewhere in Salina. Staff was, and always has been, polite and accommodating. Property is clean. Have never had a safety issue while staying here. The only issue during this stay was the thermostat. Weather had just turned chilly (October in Kansas) so I changed the thermostat from A/C to Heat. That worked. However the highest temperature selection allowed was 71 degrees. Called the front desk. The clerk agreed to adjust the computer control to 75 degrees. Didn't work. She offered to bring up a space heater but I declined. Miss having control of the temperature in my own room. Stayed in 307.

I arrived to the location at noon and they got me checked in early without question, which was huge for me as I didnt get to sleep the night prior. Restaurant was very reasonably priced and hit the spot evey time I stopped in, which was 1 breakfast, 1 lunch and 1 dinner. I've stayed at a hotel in Salina every year for a decade, this was my most pleasant hotel experience, and its not close.

• laurahD8053RG (10/5): Nice, clean stay - Hotel was nice. Nothing fancy but a good, clean place. The showers had nice pressure. The bed was a little on the firmer side. There is a pool but did not visit. They do have a small convenience closet to purchase items, and there is a restaurant on site.

• Christina (10/5): - staff was professional ,available and attentive. they have an amazing restaurant/bar. Burger Theory, was delicious I felt like a legit chef made my burger . yum! They have craft beers too. Parking is safe and easy. Easy location: enough off the freeway to feel safe but close enough to get back on the road . Close to gas, Walmart etc . the room was really clean and you can tell the staff takes pride. This will be my stop from now on. Safe for lone travelers. with the extra few dollars compared to the places around the area . wasn't anything to complain about.

Waited 3+ minutes for her to finish what she was doing previously on the computer, acted like she was inconvenienced that she had to tell me to input my card into the machine, set key on the counter saying "we are all done", no explanation of room number or best way to get there (elevators). There were 2 other employees at the counter, and she kept giving them nasty looks. IHG Gold Elite member, was not offered Welcome Amenities.

• Linda (4/5): - The front desk staff was rude and we got the impression we were inconveniencing her. No smiling, no courtesy to guests. The restaurant staff was ok, but not watching the bar closely for customers. One guest at the bar said a waitress was vaporing behind the bar and blew smoke right in his face. However they were nice to bring our party's food out on patio. They all need customer service training. Our room was very clean and updated.

• Sabrina (4/5): Horrible don’t stay here - When I arrived, nobody was around to check me in. I waited 10 minutes and then walked down hall. I spotted the staff member in a back room with her phone in her face. She was very rude. The front desk was a mess. Paperwork taped everywhere. The whole hotel was dark and just felt unclean. Our room with all the lights on was dark. The shower Chair in our room was broke . Screws coming out of the wall. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

• monicabX5480HG (2/5): Careless staff and poor service - Poor service. Upon entering the room we noticed it was warm, we lowered the ac and after several minutes noticed it was not working. Tried calling the attendant downstairs, phone broken. Called my cellphone and then we are told “oh yes, we are sorry but our air conditioner is not working. When asked why wasn’t she upfront when we arrived and give the customer the choice whether to stay or not, she said well I’m sorry. I asked for the manager, she sarcastically said he is sleeping. Can I get a discount, no I can’t do that but I can give you a fan. Went to get such fan, turns out it’s a smaller heater, looks like she doesn’t know one from the other. Overall A BAD EXPERIENCE

• Jessica (2/5): - We *specifically* chose this property for its hot tub and pool. Upon arrival, we waited in line while the woman in front of us was told they did not have the room she was currently checking in for. They politely referred her to another hotel as she walked away with her family and their bags (walked away much more calmly than I would have, I might add). Then it was my turn, and we checked in just fine. As I grumbled in the elevator about the pool situation, a housecleaner leaving her shift told me they haven't had the pool "fixed" for months now and she suspects they just don't want the hassle of cleaning it. Never ever will I stay here again.

• Travis (2/5): Very disappointed - Didn’t even get to stay and lost my $ on the reservation. I had reserved a 2 queen bed room a couple weeks ago for bringing my daughters to state wrestling and get there and the check in lady acted ticked off cause it was busy and a waiting line and I asked for my room and she tells me it’s oversold and all that’s left was one king bed room with no couch or roll out options. Disgruntled I said ok we would try and make it work but after going to the room and seeing disappointment on my daughters faces trying to figure out how to sleep 3 of us on one bed when they needed good night rest for wrestling competition and also the pool being shutdown, I got on my phone and found a room at a different hotel and we left the room, handed keys to front desk and said thanks but no thanks and left. This cost me my over $200 for the night plus cost of another room elsewhere. I won’t stay at that Holidag Inn ever again

We also needed to use the computers/printer, all of which was also out of order. They gave us coupons for breakfast for our “inconvenience”, however, I had already paid for our breakfasts with the reservation. Thus, we were already getting breakfast I tried explaining this to the check-in staff, but she didn’t seem to be able to comprehend that I was already going to be getting breakfast (that I paid for) therefore her coupons did nothing for me.
