- Amanda (8/5): -
- Tim (10/5): - Staff was beyond friendly and accommodating
- SeamusC (7/5): Nice but missing some simple amenities. - We got the big room and it was huge. Very cleverly done. We had two bathrooms and a spa tub. I like the view of the golf course from the window. It was a very nice location and layout. We had to go to the bar to get ice because the ice machine has been broken for over a year. The bed was soft but very obviously old because there was a big body size dent in one side and made the whole bed lumpy and uneven. The walls were thin and there wasn't much privacy. Breakfast should not be advertised as breakfast. It was oranges and granola bars. Absurd because there's a restaurant on site.
- Emily (5/5): I would stay again - I liked the room and how big is was I didnt like that our heat went out in the middle of the night but staff was quick to fix it and moved us rooms for no extra charge had one night free so that was extremely nice of them
- Steve (10/5): Great group experience and amazing hospitality! - HOSPITALITY for the WIN! Keri, Dawn, Nick, and Marshall were all extremely welcoming and helpful throughout our group's stay. Also, can't say enough about the Bar, Waitstaff and Kitchen crew either, they are on top of their game. Looking forward to some golf outings in the summer and bringing our group back again for our 2027 Winter Meet-up! Cheers - Steve
- Valerie (7/5): I would stay here again. - Close to event. Clean and quiet. Affordable Room trim was unfinished. Would like a dead bolt on door.
- Peter (2/5): OK for a sleep, but not much more. - What breakfast? no usable TV, poor water flow from the bathroom sink, very spartan furniture.
- David (5/5): -
- Jill (6/5): - The loud music was troublesome at first when going to bed but then ended at a reasonable time
- Barb (3/5): Will not stay here again. Dirty! - Location, restaurant staff and front desk nice and helpful. Dirty room, dirty sheets, no sound protection, loud parties in hallway outside room
- Austin (8/5): -
- Sharon (7/5): There's a good chance we'll be back. - The room size and updates are very good. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of hot water for a shower.
It was easy to take our dog out to walk. The breakfast selection wasn't great. There was milk, juice, cereal and bagels as well as some kind of frozen pizza. Fresh fruit like apples or bananas and protein bars or cheese sticks would have been helpful.
- Anna (4/5): It was just okay - It was in a convenient area It was very old, I feel like it needed some updates
- Amanda (5/5): -
- Rebecca (10/5): Like home away from home - We like that the management is working with us to accommodate our needs as we're in between homes and staying here for the time being. Nick is an absolute gem. He is amazing and goes above and beyond to make sure we're pleased with our stay while here We haven't seemed to find anything so far that we dont like. Everything is wonderful here. Except the beds are a little to firm for my liking. Having an extremely bad back and recent back surgeries the beds can seem very uncomfortable. But that my own opinion and only due to my severly terrible back. But with what life has given us can't complain.

- Elizabeth (7/5): Comfortable stay - This is an old resort but it was clean and comfortable
- Arroyo (9/5): -
- Courtney (10/5): -
- Mark (1/5): -
- Keegan (8/5): - Golf course was very nice, delicious food and a super comfy bed Small TV and ac didn't work the best
- Ann (10/5): Hidden gem - This place is quite the gem. Very clean, quiet, very friendly, and the view of the golf course from my window was great. I do believe I can honestly say this is one of the nicest places I've stayed at, even in comparison to a popular resort town up north. For my needs this trip, it was a very convenient location, and the walking/biking trail is just down the road for an evening stroll. Great place! No complaints.

- Arthur (8/5): Very good -
- Vanessa (8/5): Very good -
- Rosemary (9/5): Superb - Location was good for us. Quiet setting Breakfast was not much
- Kurtis (10/5): Conveniently located near the annual Hippie Fest in Trufant Michigan. - Fairly new renovation. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. It would have been nice to have a small refrigerator and microwave on a platform or rack. The floor was inconvenient, especially for senior citizens. That might be coming as part of the renovation.
- Natorshe (8/5): Very good -
- Julie (8/5): Very good -
- Alexis (9/5): Superb -
- Kristin (8/5): quick stay would stay there again - The staff was friendly and super nice! the room was big and yhr restaurant was great the beds werent that comfortable
- Corrine (9/5): Superb - Great location. Big room. Can't think of anything.
We arrived late due to weather, wish we had more time.
- M (7/5): Good -
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional - Loved the real keys for the door My bed was not comfortable at all. Other than that the room was great.
- John (5/5): Not as nice as expected - Nice location and restaurants No soundproofing noisy from hall and next rooms - also not the cleanest of rooms
- Robert (9/5): Good - Clean and accessible Free breakfast was advertised but nothing good to eat. I went into town and had an excellent breakfast.
- Diane (7/5): ok stay - beautiful location breakfast was very limited only cereal and packaged muffins and bagels in fridge.
- Larry (8/5): Good - Mattress on both beds
- Washington (9/5): Cozy and quiet - Small town No near by convenience
- Chad (9/5): Superb -
- Melinda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cindy (8/5): The facility was newly renovated and comfortable. No coffee pot in room but coffee at breakfast was good. The price was - It was comfortable and new. No coffee pot in room. We found two long hairs in bathroom that was not ours.
- Shannon (8/5): Very good -
- Natasha (8/5): Very good -
- Cheryl (10/5): Relaxing - Breakfast was fine, the room was nice size and the staff was very friendly. Windows need to be replaced view was blurry.
- Michael (8/5): Very good -

- Alexis (9/5): Came in during off season for family birthdays, hotel was simple and amenities were appreciated - The staff were very friendly when we checked in and I was happy they were available as we were a late check in. The room was simple and uncluttered, everything was very clean. The shower was interesting, there was a shower chair which I'm sure the golfers enjoy. Wi-Fi would not work, so I was not able to get on my laptop. I figured it might be off for the off-season or else the strong internet we may have needed to get the password for. All in all we just needed a place close to Belding and it was great for that purpose.
- Eunice (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jarvis (10/5): Exceptional - Rooms are nice Nice and quiet till all the loud drunk golfers arrive
- Jarvis (10/5): Going to book again and told all my work buddy’s about ! - Quiet and Hidden Nothing just a nice place
- Edward (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kerry (7/5): Good - The location was good for us and plenty of parking for truck and trailer. The amenities were very sparse. Example: One little soap for 2 people. And very very small fridge.
- Hacker (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joyce (1/5): Very disappointed, certainly not worth paying almost $90 for 1 night. Old pics on website!! - Breakfast? No, maybe because it was off season......coffee in lobby only, just granola bars, bagels, orange juice, not much else available. Yogurt would have been nice. Website picture must have been taken 15 years ago. Room......not rustic, just old. Overhead light didn't work. Micowave didn't work, might have been the wall socket, since I had plugged in my phone overnight, and as we were leaving, I checked my phone it did not charge. Maybe remodeling started? New shower enclosure, new vanity (very small). Bathroom did looked updated, but very small.
- Toni (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sara (4/5): I was expecting more from a “resort.” - I appreciated that the property had been updated. However, everything was done very cheaply. Upon entering our room, there was a strong bleach smell. I did not like that the walls are VERY thin. I was able to hear people’s conversations in the room next door. You can hear people walking in the hallway and shutting their doors. The mattress was uncomfortable and squeaked when you rolled over.
- Corrine (10/5): You gotta stay here it was wonderful. - It was a very pleasant stay. It was nice and quiet the staff went above and beyond. They still use keys and have real soft blankets 4 pillows per bed nothing was screwed down.It was fun. Sort of a step back in time, but still updated.I loved every bit of it. The food in the restaurant was great. Not s single thing.
- Fritz (7/5): Good -
- Jim (6/5): Vinyl flooring should make it easier to clean. - Attached bar/restaurant While searching for an electrical outlet behind the bed we found heavy dust under the bed headboard and on top of the headboard.
- Tracy (10/5): All in all it was very lovely comfortable and clean - The continental breakfast was fine and the layout an area was perfect for our needs There were a few bugs and Cowboys on the floor and the one bathroom
- Karen (7/5): Location was exactly what we needed. Clean, but could use some upgrades to the rooms. - The location fit our needs for a family wedding with nearby access to family in Greenville and wedding in Ionia. The Water Tower restaurant was ok, seemed to be a favorite for locals. The golf course was nice, and also popular for the locals as it was difficult to get tee times during our stay. The rooms were minimal and could use some renovation. Beds were very uncomfortable. I believe our family was about the only ones staying in the resort/hotel area.
- Jim (10/5): Good time - Great
- Sydney (7/5): Good - I was honestly just to stay there after a wedding and it was good for the 12 hours I was in the room! I will say if your room is near the lobby you can hear everything as early as 6 am, so just be aware of that. For golfers hitting their early tee time probably not as worrisome, for a hungover bridesmaid a little more rough. Staff was great and a nice cozy place.
- Susan (6/5): It was clean and convenient but with no frills and lacking ambiance - It was clean, convenient for the party being held there, and the front desk staff was nice. Not sure what look you were going for with the decor, but I think you missed! It is functional but amateurish. It is apparent that the hotel side is having financial difficulties.
- Wendy (4/5): Ok stay for one night - It was decent location. Bar and grill on main level. Bed was decent. Room was OK, TV kept freezing
someone vacuuming in the middle.of the night out in the hall by my room
very loud from party being hosted on property
could not get the room to cool to the temp I sry the air at
- Rodica (9/5): Keep up the work you just started. - Great price! Newly renovated. Golf course. Beds are dormitory style. SQUEAKY
The restaurant closed early.
- Robin (8/5): Even with the suggestions above we still had a great stay and will be back. - Clean room and facilities, friendly and helpful employees. Hotel mgmt has refurbished rooms and is still upgrading. Need more outlets for today’s technology. Not enough outlets for charging devices and medical gear. The lamps, refrigerator, clock, microwave, TV used all the available outlets. The bed headboard covered at least one outlet. I had to unplug some things to use outlets for my things. Maybe you could include additional outlets during the upgrading of rooms. Power strips or triple tap plugs would also be helpful. 😃
Coffee down at front desk is not made after breakfast ends at 11am. There are no coffee pots in room to make our own later in the day. Suggest they have coffee avail all day, or tell the guests when they check in that they will make more during the day, if they want it.
The bulbs in the lamps were not very bright, so rooms were too dark.
- Nancy (8/5): We had a good time. Rooms were very clean. - Location was perfect. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Bed was hard.
- Mary (7/5): Okay. - Decor. Bathroom vent needed cleaning, no Kleenex, breakfast was scant. Toast, bagels pop tarts (stale), no peanut butter. Cleaners didn't clean room well
- Pabon (4/5): Disappointed, poor quality, definitely not worth $157 :( - They gave us some champagne for our wedding night Dead bees everywhere
You can hear clear as day any sound outside the room. Kids running, screaming, people up talking at night, heavy footsteps by staff
The "Breakfast"
It was honestly sad... they had tiny cereal cups, cheap yogurt, and very few food options.
- Hargus (10/5): Exceptional -
- Judy (5/5): Passable - Location good to visit family
Restaurant was excellent Breakfast was sufficient. Coffee pot was empty and no one around
Shower curtain had mold.
Sink drain was very slow
The room looked like it was being updated
- Phil (4/5): Excellent golf course - Desolate location located out in the country. Motel is just old and needs some updating. Golf course was in outstanding condition. Surpassed our expectations
- Setton (8/5): It was a decent stay! And the room was very cute. - The food and beds were great, and the room was very rustic and cute! The room was rather small and the bathroom door didn't close all the way. Parking was tight and there seemed to be a lot of public events going on while I was staying there which made it more crowded. Breakfast was mid.
- Curt (8/5): Very good -
- Amalia (7/5): Bed was comfortable, had a bar and a restaurant that was nice and there is a golf course (good) - Location was acceptable for a family gathering No long mirror, stains on the carpet, had a strong musty smell from the carpet
- Trena (10/5): Exceptional -
- Campbell (2/5): Perhaps this facility is nice when not under renovation, but for now was disappointing. - They seemed to have been under renovation. Which would have been fine except no one said the room I was given would have old stained carpets, a brand new bath with a sink that had a badly clogged drain, no towels, etc. Better for the hotel to not have accepted guests during their renovation than to have rented out sub par rooms at normal rates to boot. Also had problems with my bookings reservation being honored.
- Sydney (10/5): Exceptional -
- Matt (4/5): Disappointing -
- Monk (8/5): Very good -
- Vincent (6/5): Reasonable room at a nice location - Location on a golf course very nice clean remodeled bathrooms Room had a bad odor likely beer on carpet needed to be shampooed
- Ken (7/5): Good - Price Lots of dust under the bed
- Bill (9/5): Superb -
- Richard (8/5): We weere in town for a wedding and a getaway. It well-served our purpose. - Room size. Quiet.
Golf course.
Restaurant (BBQ) was superb. The room could use an update.
- Dorothy (7/5): The room and location worked out very well for us. Good food at restaurant. - We ate dinner at the restaurant and we were all happy with our food. We enjoyed having the restaurant and bar on location so we didn't have to drive anywhere once we came back to the hotel from our event to enjoy dinner and music. Appreciated the early check in the young man at the front desk was able to get for us. I wasn't impressed with the breakfast. I would have liked to see fruit rather than something to warm up in the microwave. When you can't do a hot breakfast, at least hard boiled eggs and yogurt would be a nice choice along with fruit and juices.
- Diana (1/5): Was way over priced for what it was and wouldn’t stay there again. - Room appeared unfinished. Beds were terrible, were just like roll-away type beds. No power outlets to plug things in, lighting was awful and the few lights that did work flickered all the time. Breakfast that’s was “included” was muffins and cereal. Whatever photos they used to advertise this place must have been really old. Room looked nothing like the photos. Hallways were full of roll away beds and boxes of who knows what. All the other rooms on our floor were left with the doors open after cleaning crew went through and they all appeared to be in the same poor condition.
- Perley (9/5): Superb - Good food
- Tawnya (9/5): Thank you. - The restaurant on site was wondering. Great food, both dinner and breakfast meals. The service staff was great. The views of golf course very nice. Our room was quite dusty. Appeared to not have been thoroughly cleaned. ( aware of construction) The heater did not want to come on until around 3am. Staff at the bar with pool tables were rude within 90 seconds of walking in, we walked out. Absolutely love the resteraunt though. Had family come next day for large gathering.
- Nowak (8/5): Very good -
