• Mahshid (4/5): - We stayed here one night before our flight, and it was the most disappointing of our 9 stays in Italy. The owner asked us to text when we were close, which I did 30 minutes before arrival. After a quick stop, he called and told us to hurry because it was Sunday, which felt unwelcoming. When we arrived, the owner wasn’t there. His son let us in, gave us the key, and left. He answered some questions but wasn’t helpful. The room was for three, but there were only two towels—one stained orange, likely from a rusted rack. I messaged the owner but got no reply. There were also ants on my bed. The breakfast room looked neglected. Some fruit seemed old, and a few pieces were rotten. The B&B itself is cute and the balcony is lovely, but none of the warm and welcoming experience described in the listing matched reality. When we arrived, everything nearby was closed, and no one was around to help or give advice. We left early morning for our flight. The owner provided shuttle service with extra charged- cheaper than a taxi! Overall, it lacked care, cleanliness, and hospitality. Only the proximity to the airport was a plus.
• Don (4/5): - Pro’s: huge room, overall clean Cons: Had to call a number to check in at 4:30 pm (not a problem) but it really felt like we were inconveniencing the owner; he sent his son (great kid by the way). We were looking for a place close to the airport for an early flight and we were told owner would meet us at 4:00 am to get the key. 4:00 am no one to get key. Bed heavily sagged in the middle, wife and I did not get a great night of sleep.
• john (10/5): - We stayed for one night because of the location to the Palermo airport (early flight next morning), the house and the room were beautiful, Nino the owner was more than accommodating, he arranged for a private cab ride to the airport that morning for us. The center of town with shops and restaurants are two small streets from the house, everyone in town were friendly. We walked around and felt safe even at night. We will definitely stay there again probably for a longer stay.
• Anna Tari (10/5): - This property is located just a few streets away from restaurants and some shopping. Very bright and cheerful accommodations, and rooms are spacious. Shuttle to and from airport was prompt and easy with a minimal fee. Only 10 minutes from airport too! This is a gem of a quaint town close to the beach.

He opened the bar for an early happy hour and arranging our transportation to the airport for an early morning departure. He made our last night in Sicily so much fun. The accommodations were nice and updated. A great value for price and super convenient to the airport. 5 stars!!!

The only thing is that when I called and they didn't answer the first time around, but the second time it took another 10 minutes for someone to meet me. However, after that, they have an airport transfer, it was on time and check out was very seamless.
• K1062XHsebastiane (2/5): Terrible service and location. - Arrive at 1:30 P.M. doors were locked. Had to go down the street with luggage in tow. Found shopkeeper to help and call owner. No one there to help. Paid for a "Superior Room" but got a base price room. Room small, dark and only view was to a building across street. Airport shuttle service had to be pre-arranged and there was no one there to arrange it with. Finally got someone to arrange it but they wanted more then the price stated on the internet, and they want to be paid IN CASH and in advance.

• Cynthia (8/5): - We only stayed for the night before an early flight, so did not have breakfast, but the terrace and common areas are lovely. The location is convenient for returning a rental car very early, about a 15 minute drive to the rental lot. There was ample free parking on the narrow street in front of the B&B. The street behind the hotel under our window was a bit loud, but only because a group of young people were out late (it’s otherwise a quiet neighborhood). Restaurants are plentiful within walking distance a few blocks away.
• Yumi (10/5): - The property was beautiful and clean. Room had patio! Plenty of counter spaces to put down things. Staff was very helpful. Surrounding streets were quiet and clean. I would love to stay there longer next time.
• Pelvin (8/5): - Great lucation and close to car rental off site office. My only issue were pillows were really worn and not comfortable. Other than that property was super stylish and looked better in person than in photos

Such a beautiful property and the morning staff so kind and friendly It tucked into a neighborhood with very narrow streets that at first I found hard to navigate. But by the time I was leaving I had no problems. Just go slow and you’ll make it. And the neighborhood is so friendly and I felt safe to walk around even in the evening. List of restaurants and Bars. Lovely one of a kind property. I hope to go back here soon
• Jose (10/5): - Good place to stay. Room were comfortable with all amenities. The architectural and decor was surprisingly nice and wonderfully well kept for what seems like a historic building. Breakfast was adequate and the lady tending the breakfast room was nice and helpful. The only minor observation I had is that I couldn’t make to work hot water faucet. Stay here is you arenin the area!

• NIGEL (10/5): Brilliant service, near airport - Booked this hotel for its close proximity to the Palermo Airport as I had a very early 05.45 flight and did not wish a long commute. This property was excelent. The manager was fantastic and got up and drove me to the airport himself at 3.00 am . He offered us pizza and salad roomservice but ewe went out. The room was lovely despite some used toiletry wrapper in the shower from the prevvious guest. Lovely bed , lounging and reading area . I am sure the breakfast looked and sounded good but unfortunately I missed it due to an early check out. I highly recommend walking around and going for a drink or eating in the small village wher the hotel is. Great history and memorial to anti Mafia efforts. A great bakey Palazzolo, best Canolis, coffee and desserts, all home made. Voglia di pizza , great pizza cafe, outside seating , local pizza variation with anchovies amazing.
• John (8/5): - Very reasonably priced B&B in a residential neighborhood. Not a lot of restaurant options but a very good pizzaria 4 minute walk away. Had to call to get someone to open the door but they showed up quickly and for a fee they provided excellent service to the Palermo airport. Staff had little English but could not have been nicer and more accomodating.
• Wayneluvsmary (10/5): Like Staying with Family - The occasion was a small gathering of cousins with roots in the Cinisi area. TAM Casa Vacanze was recommended to us by other family members who’d stayed there before. We weren’t disappointed. The building describes itself as “shabby-chic”, and the building itself is 200 years old. It’s obvious that a lot of work has been done, modernizing the structure without losing its old world charm. The room was spacious and beautiful. The bathroom was the same. Our room had a balcony and I really enjoyed opening the balcony and enjoying the cool of the morning. There was a beautiful second story terrace where we spent evenings enjoying local wines and each other’s company. The breakfast featured fresh made espresso and cappuccino, fruits, yogurt, and pastries. Staying at the TAM is definitely not like an impersonal hotel experience. Instead it’s like being a guest in someone’s home, Nino and coworkers made up all feel like family. It was a lovely location and a memorable experience. I would recommend the TAM to any visitor to the Cinisi area.
• KathrynR1151 (4/5): Unhappy, costly experience - - When I booked in late June, I had to take 2 separate rooms for husband/wife + 2 daughters. On arrival in August, we waited at the locked front door over 45 minutes for the owner to arrive and let us in. There was now a 1 bedroom that slept 4 available. We asked to have that room instead and were assured that he would make the price adjustment. He has since refused to make that adjustment and Hotels.com has similarly refused to help.
• John (10/5): Cinisi - We had a great one night stay, but wished we had booked the room for at least a couple of nights. Very nice area and super friendly. Nino Is awesome. Breakfast on the roof deck was an unexpected pleasure. Highly recommended. Very easy to get to from Palermo airport.
• Roger (10/5): - The rooms were decorated nice, and they were clean. It is located near the airport and we were able to take a shuttle to the airport at 4am. The owner very accommodating. There were restaurants within walking distance.
• Marie (10/5): - Nino is amazing. He will transfer yiu to and from the airport for a small fee. He checks you in and walks you to your rooms and waits for questions. He also made dinner reservations for us. The breakfast was great. I would stay here again.
• Jennifer (8/5): - This property was ridiculously cute. I would stay here a month. I had read that reception wasn’t staffed, so I made a point to over communicate my arrival expectations. It seems the general policy is to call upon arrival and stand/sit/wait outside til Nino arrives. The entrance is on a side street that is big by Sicilian standards (meaning 2 small cars would JUST fit). Very little traffic, quiet at 1pm, clean. Felt safe. A distant view to the Mediterranean. Waiting was fine for us but might annoy some. Nino was friendly with enough English to check us in, recommend dining, show us our room, but since my Italian is limited to about 25 words, conversation was limited. The air conditioning of the room was a blessing. The water was adequate and cold To be fair, I tried to conserve it so it might have gotten warmer if I let it run, but given the Sicilian heat a cool shower was refreshing. Hope to try breakfast next time - reviews make it sound good.
• Donald (8/5): July 12 overnight stay. - This hotel describes itself as shabby chic. Everything was clean and tidy, maybe a little rust on some water fittings. The bed was comfortable with nice linen and comfortable pillows.

Lovely little BNB loved all the little family touches, good beds and shower and lovely welcoming by the owner and her son, didn’t get to enjoy breakfast but the set up looked good we were able to get an espresso and a yoghurt into us before our 4am departure which was useful and shuttle to airport by owner in early hours was easily organised very good value for our little stay would have liked to have seen more of Cinisi a vibrant community town
• Kim (10/5): - Dont be fooled by the exterior, when you walk in you are greeted by a beautifully rennovated interior. Our room was gorgeous, well appointed and comfortable. Staff were friendly and welcoming and good selection at breakfast. Parking was right outside the door on street. Easy bus into Palermo. Enjoyed the village feel.
• Beverly (6/5): - This B&B is gorgeous! However, there is not staff at the front desk the entire time, as advertised. I arrived in the evening and no staff were on duty. You had to call or text to let them know you were there, and this was consistent with each time I came and left the B&B. The only exception was in the morning during breakfast time. They advertise by the front desk having unique wines at the bar during the evenings, but no one was around to ask about it in the evenings. I had issues with the AC unit remote in my room and no one got back to me, so I had to use a chair and find something long toanually turn it on (as it was secured high above the door). Some rooms are advertised as having a swa view from the balcony, but when walking out on the balcony, you are miles from the beach and the airport is in direct eyeline, which would block any views of you were closer to the sea. If the accommodations were advertised properly, then I would have not had disappointed expectations for the B&B. It is gorgeous inside, just difficult to get inside and then find staff to help you when you need it (either texting, calling, or in person).
• Nicholas Brian (10/5): - You feel like you have the place to yourself. The balcony is nice to just hang out on. The staff is super friendly and you feel luke you always known them. Be patient with Nino he moves at his own speed haha.
• Elizabeth (8/5): - The hotel is as charming as the pictures show. Expect to have to call when you arrive, because although they show that the reception is open late, they do not staff it. I also emailed them ahead of time to let them know when I would arrive and was told to call upon arrival. The ladies in the morning staffing the breakfast and cleaning were very sweet and concerned about me getting a ride into Palermo. The breakfast choices were adequate and my room was spacious. There was a wonderful pizza place on the Main Street a bit east of the B&B with outdoor seating. The bed was a little harder than I like, but I still slept ok.
• lori (10/5): - This property I was so pleasantly surprised by, I had been in Sicily for three weeks and had been moving around from place to place. This was one of the nicest, cleanest places I stayed in. The staff was fantastic and so welcoming. The breakfast room and what they offer is really something special. Most of all, this place was very comfortable and the bed was so nice with a very clean and comfortable bathroom. It was close to Palermo airport (15 mins) which was perfect for my very early morning flight from there. I recommend this place for many reasons that I mentioned. They even accommodate for shuttle service to airport. I rate high for cleanliness and spacious room, comfortable bed, breakfast and nice staff.
• Sophie (10/5): - Had a lovely time here, the beds were so comfy and we got an upgrade to a room with a terrace which is beautiful. The perfect location to stay whilst exploring the west side of the island
• Stewart (6/5): - Not able to effectively communicate the need to get transport to the airport at a certain time There was a drop off of our understanding. On the other hand I had a wonderful experience at a nearby pizzeria. Lovely people and so friendly. Very comfortable room and hospitality the next morning.
• Yousef (2/5): - upon arriving at the hotel at 11:30 PM, I was shocked to find that there was no staff available to open the door. Instead, a sign indicated that the staff was out, along with a phone number to call. Despite multiple attempts, nobody answered the phone, leaving me stranded outside the hotel. As a result, I had no choice but to book an alternative hotel for the night. This unexpected inconvenience not only caused considerable stress but also led to additional expenses that were not part of my initial travel plans, i contacted expedia asking for refund, but expedia told me that the manager refused to refune my money.

• Arnold (6/5): - The room we stayed in was nice enough. Some furnishings were older looking but bathroom was recently done and more modern. What was the problem was our check-in. Arrived to find front door locked. I tried to text, email and called at least 4 different numbers until someone finally answered. Waited 10 minutes for someone to arrive and check us in. Since we were from the U.S. it was lucky I had internet and phone service. Many travelers do not. If I didn’t I’m not sure what would have happened. The gentleman who checked us in did recommend a nice pizza place within a 3 minute walk. It was delicious. We also hired him to drive us to the airport in the morning. He was punctual and a good driver!

• ccazuk (2/5): Not like the pictures on the website! - We arrived at 12:30pm for check in. The front door was locked and there were no instructions on how to access the lobby. We rang the bell and knocked for about 10 minutes. No one came. We waited on the narrow street with our luggage until another guest walked out and opened the door for us. We walked into the empty lobby and looked at an empty welcome desk. We finally found a business card on the desk. We called the numbers. The first was disconnected. The 2nd was answered by a gentleman who shared he'd be over shortly. 15 minutes later, he arrived and asked us to pay before entering our rooms (They charged an extra 10 euro above what our initial reservation was for 'fees.') We booked two rooms for adults and kids. The room in the main bulding was spectacular. Exactly like the website pictures and what we expected. The other room was actually an adjacent facility and was nothing like the pictures. The AC downstairs did not work making the rooms unusable. We called and told it'd be fixed. It was not. The beds in the master were a twin and a child's princess bed (see pic). There was debris, ants, broken glass, random nails, broken shower spigot, trash in the appliances. The shower had very little water pressure. The front door had to be wrestled open There was a bag of used shoes in the master bedroom. The kids room had no AC. When we asked about other options, we were told this was all they had. We had sent messages via website and called ahead of time to arrange a shuttle. When we arrived, we were told that they'd have to take us in two trips or get another car. They also requested to be paid 80 euros in cash separate from the hotel bill. During our stay, we did not see anyone working the lobby. We had to call multiple numbers to find someone to help. These and various other negative elements made us feel unwelcomed. Moreover, we felt deceived as the pictures on the website only showed the beautiful rooms, not the room we were given (see attached pictures.)

The shower had very little water pressure. The front door had to be wrestled open There was a bag of used shoes in the master bedroom. The kids room had no AC. When we asked about other options, we were told this was all they had.

Enjoyed dinner and dessert on the main street of the town. Room was comfortable. We had to depart before breakfast at 8 am. Would stay here again. Host is great! Arrange transportation to/from airport with host to save money.

• Gina (8/5): - We needed a place to stay with close access to the Palermo airport. This is super convenient, about a 15 minute drive. The area is pretty quiet. Two streets over is the Main Street with some shops and restaurants. They do all close for siesta. We had a hard time finding a late lunch spot and most shops were closed for the afternoon and early evening. The B&B was cutely decorated, The room was clean. The shower had good pressure and the bed was firm and comfortable enough. A little maintenance was needed; the toilet leaked onto the bathroom floor and there was a small infestation of bugs coming in on one wall. We understand things like this happen and it may have been just timing. We did arrive to check in and found the property locked and unattended. There was a sign on the door with a number. We called and were told 10 minutes, but we waited 45. We would go back. The host was friendly and gave us a dinner recommendation.

Owner collected us from car rental office, also managed to drop us to airport for early morning flight, (for fee) The town was very cute, unfortunately couldn’t get any food due to being festa, as all restaurants were closed so that was a pain! TAM is listed as b&b but should be boutique hotel, can imagine in summer it’s stunning on the little terrace. We were to early for breakfast but it looked like a beautiful place to eat. Only thing missing from room was tea and coffee making facilities which would have been good, but there was bottled water. Would defiantly stay there again, and thoroughly recommend it.
• engphile (10/5): Wonderful, close to airport - This place is a 10. It’s a restored mansion done expertly. The price was a steal. We were there because of its proximity to the airport so I can’t talk about the area. It was the loveliest place we stayed in Sicily. The breakfast was nice in a quaintly restored dining room. It is close to the airport and the owner will drive you there. Just know that if you’re there off season as we were, you will have to call the owner to let you in. He came in under 10 minutes. This place is a show stopper.

• B9073TOannm (4/5): Nice rooms, no staff! - The rooms in this quaint B&B in the middle of a residential neighborhood of Cinisi (pronounced Chin'isee) are, in their own words, "shabby chic." The shabby refers to the retention of old structures. The chic is that they are modern. However, while they advertise that their front desk is open from 9am to midnight, we NEVER saw anyone there. Never. Ever. The only personnel we ever saw were at breakfast and when we checked in--and only THEN because we called. They also advertise that they will help you with tours and sightseeing. NOT. It's a lie. They also advertise a shuttle to the airport. Sure, if you reserve it a day in advance and pay them 30 Euros to get you there. The breakfasts were unimpressive, even for a continental breakfast. In short, nice place if you don't need anything other than a bed and bathroom.

• 298kittyz (10/5): Clean and Comfortable BnB - We stayed at the TAM Casa Vacanze the night before an early flight out of Palermo airport. It worked out perfectly. What a lovely property. The host is charming and very helpful. He made sure that we were well fed and got us to the airport as promised. The rooms are lovely and there is a breakfast room with coffee, fruit and snacks. The four of us highly recommend this hotel.

• Verified traveler (2/5): Avoid at all costs! - It is a beautiful little place which is a shame because the service and attitudes are so bad. I waited outside in the dark for 30 minutes before i waa able to reach the owner on the phone. When he came and saw an older American with a lot of luggage the price of a ground floor room magically increased 10 euros. The staff started practically screaming in the hallway at 7:30 on Sunday morning so i decided to take a shower since sleep was no longer and option. When there is limited water pressure and hot water it is not a good idea to install waterfall shower heads. It is also nice if the bathroom light fixture holds 5 bulbs if more than 1 works! I went in to breakfast which should be renamed morning dessert - nothing but sugary pastries, cookies....really great if you are diabetic! And the woman in the breakfast room insisted on giving me green tea when i repeatedly asked for black. She even brought it to the table after i said no 6 times. I realized she didn't have any black tea so i went to get my own. This place was so stressful and unpleasant that i gathered my belongings and waited by the front door praying my scheduled car and driver would arrive early.

He was warm, funny, and got us into our room quickly. Nino is number one! 🤩 The hotel itself is *beautiful*; everything is well thought out and carefully appointed. The room was bright, exceptionally clean, and comfortable. We were able to park easily right outside the hotel- so convenient. Easy in and out - close to the airport. Walked to dinner and got great late night negroni & pizzas. Can’t recommend enough!

It is nicely decorated and the rooms are comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Check in is precarious, we arrived and there was no one at the concierge, we had to wait a long time until someone showed up. He gives us a key that opens only one of the entrances of B&B's and they don’t explain that ti you. Wheb my wife tried to open the door the owner appeared shouting at us. The accommodation is new and clean but the service is terrible. Other staff people are ok. The owner is unable to deal with people.
• Mary (8/5): Excellent stay - This accommodation was excellent and only 15 minutes to the airport by car. Our flight was at 7.20 so we were able to keep the car over night and return it to the airport around 6am and dropped the key into the convenient 'drop box' opposite the car rental counter within the airport. The accommodation is spotless and beautifully renovated. My only negative comment is that the fitted sheet on our bed was scratchy and made from some sort of nylon material and was therefore hot. Every other amenity was comfortable and modern and as we had transport to the airport, this was very economical accommodation for us.

Room and living areas were spacious, clean and homely. Decor was modern and elegant with perfect little touches. Bathroom had a nice shower, hairdryer and other small amenities other stays overlook. Breakfast was as expected and better than other hotels, coffee machine and more. Would highly recommend.

• Verified traveler (2/5): - The good: Both the common areas and our room were attractive and clean. It's obvious the owner put a lot of work into renovating the interior. The bad: There's no parking, and the streets are really, really narrow. On the one-way street on front of the hotel, we had literally two or three inches of clearance between our car, a parked car, and the curb, and that's with the mirrors folded in. A wider car (we were in a Fiat 500L) could not have made it, which would have made for a very stressful situation on a one-lane, one-way street. The really bad: Expedia indicates the check in time is noon to midnight. We arrived at 8:30pm and there was literally no one at the hotel (guest or staff). We had to call from a local tobacco shop, and it was about 9:15pm before we finally got into the room. On top of that, the owner yelled at us for arriving so late. We had booked the room months in advance, so not only do they not follow their own policies on the Expedia website, they didn't bother to contact us until the day of our arrival, by which time we were unavailable. It was a pretty horrendous situation, and less-experienced travelers might have really been in trouble.

TAM Casa Vacanze EXCEEDED our expectations. It is located 2 blocks off the main street of Cinisi and was easy to walk and explore the area. Nino the owner was very welcoming and was a GREAT host. He provided 3 of our family members a ride to the airport at 5:30 am!!! We strongly recommend TAM.

• Michael (2/5): - NEVER EVER BOOK THIS FACILITY & NEVER LISTEN TO RECOMMENDATIONS FROM THE EXPEDIA STAFF, THEY KNOW NOTHING. Story line: We needed a place close to airport for early flight out of Palermo, Expedia staff found this for us but never said there is no desk or check in, it's a little B&B in the back streets of Cinisi. Instructions on confirmation say to contact them 48 hours B4 arrival, but does not give you a phone # or e mail. You need GPS to find this place. When we arrived no one was there, locked. Phone # on placard outside with # but no one answered. We called Expedia service, got someone who we could hardly understand and she had us on hold for 40 minutes, came back and said she called but they did not speak English. Send us to the next level up for help, by that time we left trying to find something else, it was getting dark. Now this supervisor has us on hold for 30 minutes and she can't do anything to find someplace else. She sendS us to a "local" support person, another 20 minutes on hold, he comes back and says the people are there waiting for us, by this time we had left and he tells us because they are waiting they cannot transfer the reservation and he has no solution. It's a good thing I have an AMEX Platinum Card. I called their travel service (in America) and they had a room for us in less than 10 minutes, not that much farther from the airport. I am contesting the pre paid charges and will not pay them and will NEVER BOOK WITH EXPEDIA AGAIN. BAD BAD EXPERIENCE
