tim (4/5): - the rating of this property is not what it seams. i wouldn't stay here again if it was half this price. it was conveniently located near family. the pillows were horrible. mine was only 1 inch thick if even. the rooms smelled horrible especially when the heat was on. the fan on the heater could only be set to auto. i checked up with the attendant, she said that's the way it is. it had settings for fan low, high and auto. it didn't matter where you set it, it was on auto. we couldn't sleep because of not having any white noise. the paint in the bathroom was peeling at the joints. i wouldn't use the shower unless i absolutely had to. the dogs nest door barked all night. the good news is we were the only ones there.

Verified traveler (8/5): Okay for the area. - I’ve stayed in many local hotels due to work on Edwards AFB. In Mojave, Palmdale, Rosamond, California City… This one was pet friendly, very nice receptionist, and quiet and safe. The facilities are a little run-down but it was clean and affordable. No sex workers and tweakers in the parking lot like the motels in Mojave. Worth staying.

Andrew (10/5): LOVE IT!! - When we first arrived we were worried about parking Because the parking looked small but once we went down a little farther there actually was semi parking. The place was small, cute and quite. You could tell a lot of heart went into this place. It’s not the most dated place but that’s what made it so cozy. We would definitely stay here again. Also if you have pets the pet area is right outside the door.

Disarray of hangers in closet needs to do away with wire & make plastic ones organized. Need to upgrade bedspreads. Next time will go to California City!

jirair (6/5): Boron 1 - The up-keep in this motel is not good at all. Carpets are old and dirty floors are uneven the blanket had a paint on it and didn't bother to replace it. the soap bars are the cheapest possible that won't foam. how these people stay in business ?

Patricia (10/5): Older motel, in a very tiny town. - The motel was older but very clean and comfortable. Had a refrig and microwave and new flat screen t.v. Only problem was the train was right across the road that ran all day and night..
Alicia (10/5): Never judge a book by its cover - I will admit the price was higher than I expected in such a small city but I did enjoy my stay. Only complaint was the t.v. turned off at 11 p.m. and I guess there wasn't all night service because I couldn't reach the front desk at 7 a.m. the next morning to ask what happened. Honestly though, it was only a small inconveince when compared to the condition of the room. If I ever needed a motel while staying in town, this place would be my choice. The Wi-Fi was even a strong signal. So not judge this place by its older exterior. The interior of the rooms was just right for me and my son.
