- Megan (9/5): CUTEST boutique hotel - The CUTEST boutique hotel! Fabulous bathroom and comfy beds. I love the old fancy hotel vibe. The coffee maker in the lobby was awesome. It’s like the kind they have in Europe. The town is quaint and cute, quiet. Near lava hot springs. No breakfast option in town. Have to go to lava or Pocatello. Some trains passing through if that bothers you but didn’t bug us.

And the lobby has a great full menu automated batista machine. The TV in the room is connected only to a satellite carrier. No smart/ app capability for personalized use.

Microwave and mini fridge but no table. 10 mile drive to very few evening amenities. 10 miles to Lava Hot Springs which were lovely.

- David (8/5): It was a very nice surprise, compared to the overly urban Pocatello vibe. - Loved the ambience. Was going to stay in Pocatello on my trip home to AZ from Montana. Pocatello was big, crowded, noisy and roads were torn up. I was not liking it. Decided to move on and found this property 20 miles south, which was the exact opposite. Wish I could have opened the window to get fresh air and enjoy the quiet atmosphere of the town. The room was a bit warm, but it cooled down.

- Auryane (10/5): - L’hôtel est atypique. Façade ancienne mais intérieur totalement refait. Le style des chambres est totalement décalé avec le style de la petite ville mais c’est sympa. La chambre était très spacieuse, literie confortable et salle de bain propre et la douche était très bien. Le plus c’est la machine à café dans le hall à disposition qui propose pleins de type de café (mocha, latte, cappuccino etc…), qui sont très bons. Il y a aussi du choix dans les thés. Autour de l’hôtel il n’y a rien pour manger ou se divertir mais c’est un très bon hôtel pour une étape.

- Benjamin (10/5): Beautiful, clean, comfortable hotel that I would be happy to stay at again. - The hotel was beautiful. We loved how they maintained the old fashioned charm with modern and beautiful updates. The kitchen was fully stocked which allowed us treat our stay more like a vacation rental. All the beds were extremely comfortable, the rooms were clean, and they staff were exceptionally kind and easy to work with. Only minutes from downtown Lava Hot Springs which made its an excellent location as well.

- Angela (10/5): - A magical location! We were in the Sioux Lodge, which was right across from the pool and the restaurant was a short walk further. The kids loved the place and want to go back. The area around the resort has breath-taking views. We hope to return sometime in the future!

- Christina (10/5): Population1025 with 5 Star Stay - The hotel is a very historic building and the hotel manager was the sweetest lady offering info and taking me on a tour. It’s been updated to the perfect mix of old with new in my opinion. I will surely stay again and recommend to everyone to stay here as well. It’s beautiful spacious comfortable and quiet. No need for soaps they’re provided. Though they do not have an option of food onsite I hear it’s soon to come with a restaurant. In the meantime they offer all you can drink coffee tea and water. Take the time to get the history it’s wonderful. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ in my opinion.

- Charles (10/5): Another fantastic stay - We returned for our third year at the Harkness Hotel. It is a charming and convenient place to stay when skiing at Pebble Creek. The service is great the staff are very friendly and communicative. The best spot around!

- Sheila (10/5): - This is a BEAUTIFUL, very well kept hotel. The history and perseverance of it is astonishing. The staff is extremely friendly. They have a very cool coffee machine that offers 14 different options and it is FREE! It is 11miles from the hot springs and about 18 to Pocatello. We enjoyed staying out of the craziness and thought it centrally located.

- Corben (10/5): Hidden gem - This is a hidden gem. One of the best hotels we've stayed at. The shower is the most luxurious shower I've ever used. It's plenty big enough for 2 adults. The staff are amazing! The hot complimentary hot chocolate is divine! There are VERY minor flaws to the room. Like I said, very minor. Did not detract from the experience. The baseboards need to be repainted/replaced, and there were a couple dead flies on the curtains. But other than that. This hotel is amazing and I would go out of my way to stay here again.

- Barbara F (4/5): Lovingly Restored But Constant Train Air Horns - The hotel has been lovingly restored and the bed was comfortable. We had plenty of water pressure and the room was large. You can also grab coffee, tea and ice in the lobby. But we weren't anticipating constant train air horns throughout the night which prevented us from sleeping. We counted at least 6 during the night. Somehow I missed this note when I booked.

- Robert (9/5): Very pleasant stay at the hotel. - Property was very clean and comfortable with large rooms. We had one of their “smaller” rooms which was still large. It was a shame that the hotel didn’t provide the usual breakfast buffet that most US hotels provide; although we did know that when we booked. The property is located near the railway and so you may need earplugs if you go to bed early although the trains seemed to stop about 10.00pm until about 7.00am in the morning.

- Melissa (8/5): - This property is a converted historic flour mill and the rooms are very pretty and bathrooms well-appointed. It was also very quiet. There were drawbacks to the location and layout of the building. I didn’t like that there was no direct access to the lobby. When we checked in, we received an average welcome. This was the only contact we had with the front desk. They don’t automatically replenish towels or t.p. You have to ask and go around through the outside entrance. The lighting in the rooms is pretty dim. And be prepared. There is nowhere nearby to have a nice dinner. You have to go all the way into Lava Hot Springs. There is a cafe across the street that has a wonderful breakfast and small-town courtesy but they close after lunch.
