Poor wifi and mobile signal is not available all part of hotel, even inside the room it's not proper. Break fast is just name sake with repetitive dishes every day. Need to refresh the menu.

• Felipe (10/5): Stay here if you want good and reliable standards. - It was a great stay, good air conditioning and food options (including options if you do not feel like having indian food). The hotel has been well furbished and all fittings work well (other indian hotel ive been to usually had something faulty or not well installed) and were well kept, such as taps being polished well. Staff were great, fruendly laundry and housekeeping. The general manager was pleasent and welcoming, he went over and beyond as a host. I liked the hotel was so near to the golden temple and with sweet shops and a pharmacy nearby (I had a cold and got something from there). The beds were comfy and very clean, and i quite liked the selection of complementary teas and coffees.

• John (8/5): Good location to see the city sights but view from room was to the derelict building opposite. - Breakfast was ok and the location was very good for walking to the sights such as Golden Temple etc. In the room description it said "balcony with city view". The only view was across the road to the derelict building opposite. There was building work continuing during my stay which l was not warned about. It did not affect me while in the room but public area were hazardous with building materials lying about and noxious smells from chemicals being used.

The check in was very quick and smooth. My stay was just for a day but the service was very prompt. Staff members were very kind and helpful. The housekeeping staff has been amazing.Ambience of hotel is very good and well maintained.Happy to be here. Will come back... Once again thank you everyone...!!

• Anagha (4/5): Would not stay here or recommend this to anyone. There are better 3 star hotels in Amritsar. - Location is great. Walking distance to all the major sites. Breakfast is decent if repetitive. I stayed at this property 5 years ago and it was pretty good then. Sadly they have not kept up with basic maintenance. The heaters in the room did not work. No hand towels, soaps were provided and the towels were worn. The chair covers and seats in the breakfast area are stained and run down. The overall appearance of the hotel is run down like they have given up (except for the reception area).

Day time staff is helpful for small things. - Locker / safe not working, no assistance provided. - You must watch one channel all the time on the TV because the remote doesn’t work; even after asking for help, no one bothered. - You need to validate room key every time you step out. - The evening-night duty manager has unfriendly manners. - Cold breakfast. - For the rate charged, a heater is expected. Rooms have no heater so beware if you are staying here in winter.

But they did not charge the 200 INR credit card charges. Thanks ;)

Breakfast was reasonable, I requested an omelette as have gluten allergy, which was good. The safe wasn't working in our room, asked reception to fix 3 times, however, it didn't get looked at whilst we were there for 1 night. Annoying as we couldn't leave our valuables in the safe.

• Ankur (8/5): Overall comfortable stay with family - Location is near to famous places like Golden temple,Jaliawalan bagh,Partition museum and complementary breakfast was also good I have booked 2 rooms with 3 adults and another with 2 adults and 1 kid. With last minute change we have 2 adults in 1 room and in another 2+1, have requested them to reduce the complete fare before check in however Hotels has partially accepted and booking.com had not accepted our requested resulting additional charges paid.Wifi is not good
• Vikas (5/5): Only choose for room size compromising on surroundings - Service staff was very helpful. Breakfast not great but passable, room size was quite decent. If you are looking for a city centre hotel and can compromise on surroundings, then a good location, otherwise difficult to reach by your own. Do not trust maps, call the hotel for guidance Cleanliness and maintenance needs attention. Linen definitely needs a refresh as it was pale and requires complete overhaul. Paint in the corridor was chipping in patches. Bathrooms though were clean but not sparkling and definitely the wooden frames need maintenance. Overpriced compared to other modern properties which have better quality ratings

• Verified traveler (8/5): - The location of the hotel is not the best being on a small back street with a lot of traffic but the hotel did their best to make us welcome. The rooms were ok but the bed was slightly damp. To be fair it was only 10 degrees centigrade so it cold for India. Overall the hotel was good.
