Guest Reviews
- Tmenzies (8/5): Clean, Simple Hotel With Good Service - Close To KLSS - A simple hotel with small basic rooms, perfectly located close to KLSS (just walk through the NU Sentral mall). While basic, the rooms are newly decorated, in good condition, and clean - with free WiFi. Shout out to Kamal the cleaner, who was very proud of his work! Service here is great, and everyone is friendly. Breakfast is next door at the ABC Nasi Kandar, and with six options to choose from is well worth the RM5 price!! I reduced the star value due to my room having a persistent smokey smell - which is odd as this is a non-smoking hotel. Management said they will look into it, but as I had a street view room, it was likely coming from people outside on the street smoking. Would 100% stay again - just maybe choose and inside room.
- 891ashisht (8/5): Great London - Great location just opposite NU mall, bit congested but tidy room. Need an additional lift as it was congested and over used during pick hours.
- Lindunia (10/5): Absolute bargain - We wanted to find a budget hotel near KL Sentral station after a very long flight, mainly just to rest off the jet lag! We chose Easy Hotel and, actually, were over the moon about the value for money. The room was immaculate, comfortable bed, Smart TV, coffee, bottled water and a decent bathroom. The staff were so helpful at check-in and made us feel welcome to Malaysia. Roof terrace was a nice little spot to relax in. Breakfast was included in the room rate, and was excellent local fresh food. Location was great, Brickfields/Little India so we couldn’t resist exploring.
- imkodagida (10/5): Best Place to Stay in KL - I booked this place for a family trip, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. The hotel is just 1.5 meters from KL Sentral(YES 1.5M) , the main transportation hub in Kuala L
umpur, giving you easy access to any destination in the country.
The area is surrounded by amazing restaurants offering delicious food at very affordable prices. The atmosphere at Easy Hotel is wonderful- clean, welcoming, and comfortable. The staff are incredibly friendly, especially the ladies and gentlemen at the reception, who were always warm and hospitable. My son loved greeting them every day because of their kindness.
The bell attendant was also always cheerful, greeting us with a big smile whether it was morning or evening, I truly wish I remembered his name.
A special appreciation goes to our room attendant, Kayes. He was extremely helpful and kind, ensuring we were comfortable throughout our stay and even anticipating our needs before we mentioned them. We are truly grateful for his excellent service.
Thank you, Kayes, and all the ladies and gentlemen of Easy Hotel. If I have the chance to visit KL again, I will definitely stay here. For anyone planning to travel and looking for a complete, enjoyable experience, I highly recommend Easy Hotel.
- Plainaway (8/5): Location, service and price - Good location next to KL Central, the NU shopping mall and the Monorail. The hotel posts directions from KL Central to the hotel among the pictures of the hotel on booking websites which allows easy transition from the train to the hotel. Breakfast was included in my room which was enough to get you going. Rooms had everything for a short stay with a kettle and fridge included. If more than one look at getting a bigger room and one on the other side of the monorail. For shorts stay,s and the price I found nothing to complain about. A big thank-you to the man working the nightshift who at 5 30 am after I found out the shopping centre access to KL Central doesn’t open until 6 am escorted me round to an alternative access into KL Central.
- RQPP (10/5): Clean, comfortable and worth! - It was the Deepavalli holidays. I booked and paid at the reception real early. No issues when I checked in. The staff was friendly and helpful.
I entered the room , it was small but adequate as I was alone. Everything was clean from the toilet to the bedsheets, etc.
The hot water was working and hot! Complimentary bottled water, shower gels, coffee sachets, etc. Surprised these were complimentary at the low price of the rooms.
Slept quietly as I was at the lower floors and at the back of the building. Airc was cool and pleasant.
I will come back again if I need to take an early morning train ride.
- 315_ivkam (10/5): Best staff ever - We had a wonderful stay at Easy Hotel. The staff were more than accommodating, always kind and helpful. Even on a rainy day, when we had already checked out, they allowed us to stay until the evening on their beautiful terrace while waiting for our airport transfer. This level of hospitality made our trip so much more comfortable. Highly recommended – we will definitely return!
- Thomas (10/5): - Clean and walking distance from the train and mall
- Lee (10/5): Basic, but good location, friendly reception. - Convenient location. It’s about 3-5 mins walk to KL Sentral Railway (via Nu Sentral) and a 1 min walk from KL Monorail Station. It’s more of a business hotel concept, convenient to get to places. Basic amenities, newly renovated. Love that they offer roti canai / telur and milk tea for breakfast if you choose the option.
- Neha (8/5): - Staff members: 👌
- Marlene (6/5): - The hotel was clean and the staff welcoming. The delux triple room was very cramped. There were several signs saying no alcohol, which was not obvious when booking. The area for breakfast was open to the road and had motorbikes parked in it so, we just left that. Would return.
- Andrew (8/5): - The location of the hotel is both a good and bad. It is conveniently located at KL Sentral, but the traffic around is terrible. The staff is friendly and the room is clean overall. The breakfast is just bread and coffee at the bistro attached to the hotel. The major issue is the bathroom where the shower area is combined with the toilet area so water can fill up the entire bathroom. It is not the setting we feel comfortable with.
- sarah (4/5): - It’s by the central station but otherwise no good reason to stay. It’s noisy. Smelt of chemicals. Thin walls. Very basic. Maybe a step up from a hostel. Yes it was cheap. But I wished we’d paid more
- GirlGuideHouston (4/5): Pretty poor. I’m sure there’s better - This is little more than a hostel. The room we had was fairly large. It had a window. But the shower isn’t hot and the room smells odd.
It’s a noisy hotel
Central location right next to the station. And cheap. Glad we were only here one night
- Manjinder (8/5): - Place was nice ..staff was too
- Kazim (10/5): - Lovely hotel with a tasty complimentary breakfast and convenient location. Friendly staff made check-in easy. Room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!
- Dave (8/5): - We have really enjoyed our stay at the Easy hotel...great value and the rooms were clean and have air conditioning and a fridge. Check out The Supper Club bar a few doors down...
- Rolina (10/5): - Staff were very hospitable & very professional! Esp Bicky the FO he is the best FO I ever had here in Malaysia hotels Ive been staying.
- Rolina (10/5): - Excellent!!! Service & Comfort!!!
- jessicaalmaina (10/5): Room is excellent. - Room is excellent. It is clean and comfy. There's no hot water in teh shower but other than that it is very good. There's a bidet in the toilet. There's a small fridge, a kettle for your hot water. The roof top is amazing, you can see the KL tower and it is best to see it at night. Staff are very friendly. The LRT is just right infront of the entrance. There's also a mall across the road. The location is superb!
- Verified traveler (6/5): 場所がいいホテル - 駅から近く、どこに行くにも便利でした。
- cameroncC6475GH (6/5): You be the judge. - It’s okay for a one night stay. The shower wasn’t working and it took at least three technicians to come and try to fix the issue. That tells me, at the first two didn’t know what to do, what was wrong, or even know how to fix it and what tools were required. A big let down, as it was late and we all needed to have showers, due to the humidity and activities we did during the day. Not one of the staff said sorry for the inconvenience! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT!!
To all those visiting KL, stay away from this place and avoid it at all levels. The room is cramped and no room to move our place your luggage.
- Toshie (6/5): - スタッフの方がとても親切でした。
駅もアクセスもとても良いです。
最初インド人街の雰囲気に圧倒されたのですが、すぐに慣れましたし、皆さん親切なので、気になるのは最初だけです。
- Sergio (10/5): - Awesome hotel stuff👍
- Priscilla (4/5): - Great price hotel. Aside from that there are thin walls so sleep is unlikely without earplugs. People are noisy all hours of the night and construction is happening due to refurbishing rooms that does exceed times the hotel states. My room was tiny. A queen bed with little room either side. enough apacw for a bedside table and small fridge. Much smaller than what I saw online. Aircon directly faces the bed so I’ve ended up with nasal congestion. The showers was Luke warm at the hottest setting and maintenance were not able to get it any hotter so u actually freeze showering. The shower rose is in a fixed position where u can’t angle the head to direct to ur body unless u hand hold it. Pillows were massive and fat so no suited to a stomach sleeper and u may end up with a sore neck. Cleanliness wise it was ok. Location wise Bukit Bintang is better option. The room had no windows so my body clock had no idea what was going on. Don’t be friendly to hotel cleaning staff. They mistake a friendly thank you for helping to try and sort out my shower temperature hug for soemthing more next minute they want a picture with u, then they kiss ur hand which was uncomfortable and not welcomed and then they ask for a kiss on the cheek. Solo female traveller here.

- SHU CHUAN (10/5): 人員親切! - 已是第2次入住,明年去馬來西亞,這家依舊是首選
- darren (10/5): Easy connection - Excellent and convenient hotel. We were able to check in early at no cost. Great for connections and Excellent staff.
- Angelaaatjuh24 (2/5): Far better hotels in this area - Made a booking for May, they confimed it's for today. Strange! Very uninterested answer from the hotel so i cancelled. They don't care at all. The answer: ok. I guess there are plenty more hotels with beter service and care in Kuala lumpur. I wouldnt go here even if it was for free.
- YI CHU (10/5): 推薦入住 - 第二次入住,地點方便,房間很乾淨,旁邊直接連接火車站,房務員很友好
- Mohammad (8/5): - It was good
- marylouisedp (10/5): Budget-Friendly Hotel in the Heart of KL Sentral - We stayed at Easy Hotel for 4 days, and it proved to be a convenient and comfortable choice. Located in the heart of KL Sentral, Kuala Lumpur, the hotel is just a few steps from the KL Sentral train station, bus terminal, NU Sentral Mall, as well as various restaurants, convenience stores, and a spa.
Check-in time is from 3:00 PM, and check-out time is at 12:00 PM. Please note that early check-in and late check-out incur an additional fee of 10 MYR per hour. Our room, situated on the first floor, was a Deluxe Queen Room. It featured a queen-sized bed, television, air conditioning, a desk, telephone, and a wardrobe. Additional amenities included bottled water, coffee, creamer, and sugar. The bathroom was equipped with a bidet, bath towels, a single slipper, shampoo, shower gel, and tissue.
The hotel provides only one key card per room. The staff were exceptionally courteous and accommodating, ensuring that our room was cleaned daily and toiletries replenished. The hotel also offers a range of amenities, including a gym and a rooftop garden, both of which are accessible from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM on the 5th floor. There is also a kids’ playground and a water refilling station available.
Overall, I highly recommend Easy Hotel for its excellent location, quality service, and value for money.
- FMoz (4/5): Be warned - The good things: It's clean, the staff are friendly, and it is located at the city's main transportation hub. Here is a long list of things to be warned of: the room is tiny, akin to a Japanese hotel room; there is only one lift for the entire hotel that covers several shop lots on 5 floors; the room is beside a train station and there is noise from announcements throughout the day and night -- basic as long as trains are running; alcohol is not allowed in the premises; staff, though friendly do not have local knowledge as they are not locals; the neighbourhood is an undesirable area.
- DARILANCE (6/5): Do not choose 'breakfast included' the hotel uses the cafe next door as it doesn't have it's own restaurant - Advertised as Essy Hotel it is actually called Easy Hotel. Friendly staff. Check in is not until 12-2pm
Tiny rooms. The Queen deluxe room is only 11sq metres. Some rooms have no windows, some with windows only look at shopping mall direct outside, so curtains need closing so passersby don't see into the room. Kettle/tea/coffee/milk sachets provided, and toiletries plus toilet roll. Noise, so much noise can clearly be heard while in the room. Traffic, talking public outside on the streets, guests in the hallways, and from the other guest rooms. Only one lift, at busy times there's a queue.
Lovely rooftop garden area to relax, with settees and chairs, until people smoking and with mobile phones on loudspeaker come and spoil it. There is also a gym and a children's play area.
Breakfast is a big NO. It's next door in a street cafe where they don't understand English or have cereal/toast options.
I understand the hotel also has a self serve laundry.
All in all I would have said to avoid this hotel, but looking around and comparing with others in the area it is likely one of the better ones if you are on a budget.
- Keiichi (8/5): - Excellent location for KLIA.
But, my suggestion is go around the building not go through the mall. It's kind of complicated.
- Gary (6/5): - Room key failed many times.
- Teigan (8/5): - Very convenient place to stay for a stopover, the train comes straight to the centre next to the hotel. There was a fair bit of noise because our room was next to the cleaning rooms i think. Overall, happy with our stay
- Mustaq (8/5): Ok place - Hotel location is near to the station and food places.
Bit noisy due to dipawali festival, middle of night you will get awake due to loud music
- Saleena (10/5): - Location
- Saleena (10/5): - Good location
- Jen (8/5): - Budget friendly hotel. Safe and clean, staff were friendly and helpful. Right next to NU central mall and KL sentral station (You can catch train to other shopping malls or Batu caves for a few ringgits).
- JanetS2148 (4/5): Easy Hotel - Great location and nice staff but that’s kinda it. Was clean too
Tiny rooms, poorly closing doors, leaky WC, ratty old towels badly needing replaced
Hotel is being painted and refurbed etc - work still ongoing at 9/10pm which is not great when you’ve been out all day and have an early flight
- SIN PENG (10/5): - Good housekeeping thanks to the staff.
- Romzi (10/5): - due to renovation in progress currently happened at the hotel
- Romzi (10/5): Friendly staff’s & security - Staff doing well always greets customers
The security personnel on 10-11/Jul super helpful and friendly
- David (10/5): Excellent value - Stayed in the queen bed no windows room. The AC was cold, water hot and it was very clean. The location by KL sentral station is excellent and the price was really low so I was very satisfied.
- Sin Peng (10/5): - Near to transport hub and shopping with food galore
- N r (10/5): - Great location staff are sound. Some great Indian food around there. Rooms great really good place to stay
- Lydia (4/5): - Hsk need improvement.
- Dugan (8/5): - Chose this hotel because it is near KN Sentral - very good for tourists. Low price bought a small but adequate room and very good housekeeping.
Breakfast included was in neighbouring Indian restaurant - not my choice of food for breakfast.
- Hai Long (8/5): - very good location!
- Manickam (10/5): - Clean, friendly service, very pleasant experience.,
- Alicia (8/5): - We’re transiting for train towards Thailand, the location of this hotel is unbeatable. Reception was warm and welcoming, check-in process was quick and easy. There’s a local mamak restaurant (ABC Bistro) connected to this hotel - we didn’t try due to time constraints but it’s a great option. 2 convenience stores by the side and NU mall just across the road.
Room has strong musty smell but once AC is on dry mode it clears up. However if you do leave the room the electricity cuts off, the musty smell will welcome you again when you return to the room.
Facilities and location match the price paid.
We were given the queen single bed configuration meant for 3 guests despite us booking only for queen.
I noticed 2 strains of hair (both different texture) lying in plain sight on the queen bed, decided to remove them and let it pass.
My travel companion took the single bed and was bitten by a bug (not sure bed bug or tick or something else) and had several bite marks on his forehead and back. His rest was affected and he found the little bug on his bed.
After much deliberation we decided to share the queen bed which was clear of bug.
Toilet is quite big and shower pressure is great.
Check out process is simple as well.
Recommend this hotel for accessibility and convenience.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Good enough for a short stay - Stayed here as we had a long layover in KL and wanted to spend a few hours in the city. The airport train takes you directly in front of the hotel, so that's why we booked this in case there was too much traffic to get to airport. That said it is not close to the key sites, but didn't feel too out of the way either.
Overall the hotel and rooms are not that bad for a short stay. The neighborhood at night looks and felt dangerous, was not very clean, so wouldn't recommend going out too late. About a 5min walk to the Indian neighborhood if that's your interest.
- SIN PENG (8/5): - Only the bed is not very comfortable
- Sirichai (6/5): - The hotel is located near the public transportation. However, I booked for breakfast, it seems not worth for money you pay for.
- Eng Huat (6/5): - So far ok
- Juliet (10/5): - Fantastic staff, everybody, this includes front staff and everyone else that worked in the hotel. Right next door to Monorail and Railway Station. Exceptional value for money. You could book trips from the reception which was great for a tourist. Room was compact and had everything you needed. Beds were comfortable and the hotel had been fully refurbished. We are planning to stay there again next year. I also must als say a big thank you to Bilan on level four who was most helpful and always greeted us with a big smile. Thank you Bilan and everyone at Easy Hotel 😁
- Jazmine (10/5): - This is a budget hotel so it’s nothing too crazy fancy but it is well kept and filled with friendly and accommodating staff with proximity so close to a shopping mall you’re there in two minutes! The mall has everything you could need:
Coffee, Mr. DIY, clothes and more PLUS easy access to ATMS at the 711’s right next door. Restaurants in the area. Trains are also just a short walk through the mall- and can take you straight to destinations like Batu Caves. Highly recommend the spot for walkability, access to sights, transportation, and friendly accommodating staff.
- Norhayati (8/5): - Great location. Clean and conveniently situated. Will be back.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Decent hotel, but beds have bedbugs! - Room was good for the price, but the bed has bedbugs as I woke up with bites all over my body. Would not recommend staying here.
- Brandon (4/5): - Property photos are very deceiving. It's in a lot worse condition with mold in bathrooms. Toilet shower and sink are all joined together in bathroom, so water gets everywhere. But at the end of the day, you get what you pay for. This is a budget hotel, so don't expect much and you'll be fine. Just don't expect to get what's in their photos.
On the more positive side, staff was very nice and attentive!
- HIROMI (10/5): - スタッフがとても親切でした。アクセスもよく、街歩きも便利で、良い思い出がたくさんできました^_^
- Kelly (10/5): - Staff been amazing here and helped us load our luggage to our room. Room was fair clean but the universal outlet with the USB port and did not work.
Area to KL Sentral convenient to get around places. I enjoyed my stay here with my partner.
- James (10/5): - Great central location to trains.monorail .shopping .staff very nice and helpful.
- Carlene (4/5): - Construction noise all night meant little sleep and a/c leaked all over cases in two rooms after changing room due to noise…cancelled second booking and will not stay there again
- Shannon (10/5): - Excellent location with super easy access to KL Sentral and all transit options. Staff was helpful and friendly, definitely get the breakfast! It’s at ABC cafe next door and delicious:) For a budget traveler, this hotel is an excellent choice!
- Sin Peng (8/5): - Convenient location to transport hub
- Verified traveler (10/5): - no hot water...no hot water ..... place smells like insect repellent.
- Verified traveler (10/5): You get more that what you pay. - This hotel is well maintained. Very clean and centrally located. They also have gym and rooftop garden. I am satisfied and will stay there again in the future.
- Squizzy (8/5): - No window room is hard to take if you're staying for long
- Kadir (10/5): - excelent
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Easy and convenient location. Nice breakfast. Friendly staff.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great location, helpful staff , they don’t even take tips even I had Offer so , highly recommended
- Verified traveler (10/5): Convenience place to stay... - A convenient place to stay, easy access to public transport. A good restaurant located downstairs which serves many types of delicious food.
- Sin Peng (8/5): I have stayed there several times - Great
- Moh (8/5): - I like the location and the restaurant just below the hotel.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Hotel is very near with NU Sentral and KL Sentral. Suitable for those who want to use public transportation
- Verified traveler (4/5): Hard and high pillows - Every was alright except for the pillows which are hard as rock and puff up so high that you will get a stiff neck after one night Hope Hotel can supply soft pillows and that will make a world of difference
- Bernard (2/5): Please be aware if you are check in late - I went to the hotel and the Front Desk told me that that hotel is fully booked and there is no booking under my name. In other words, I don't even get to sleep at the hotel eventhough I had booked and paid for it.
When I contacted www.hotels.com for refund, the Front Desk lied to them that I had checked in. Please be aware if you are checking in late.
I am still fighting to get my refund.
- Verified traveler (6/5): OK for the price... - Basically, you get what you pay for...it was cheap 🙄
- Chandrasekar (10/5): - Value for money in terms of comforts. Staff service commendable
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The room was a lot smaller than advertised
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very well located coming and going to the airport, metro or train, and still close enough to access downtown sights or Petronas towers easily. It can be found just down an escalator right outside the Sentral Station Mall and next to a 24hr convenience store and several restaurants. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was windowless and small, but clean. A self-serve laundromat is very close by.
- Romzi (10/5): - Overall value with your money
- Moiz Sabbir (4/5): No Electricity - There was no electricity from 3:00 AM in the morning until when i checked out. Had to do everything in dark as there was no window. Called reception many times but got help.
- Anna1510 (8/5): - Strategic location, strong wifi connection and finding food is easy as there are lots of eateries nearby. Anothet major advantage it is located next to Nu Sentral shopping mall and KL Sentral.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - 5-minute walk to KL sentral station, a good hotel to stay on the area.
- Tham (2/5): Horrible experience with this hotel. - I was conned into booking this hotel by Hotel.com misleading information. It was clearly stated the room is 377 sq ft or 22 sq m. When I checked in I was horrified. It was only 115 sq ft tiny room with no windows. The shower was almost above the toilet. I complaint to the front desk and was told it was not their fault unapologically. Further I booked with breakfast but was not given until I showed them the price I paid. I spent nearly 2 hrs on the phone trying to work this out.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Close wth nu sentral.easy
- Verified traveler (10/5): - small but very clean room
- Tee (8/5): - The hotel is located beside KL seNtral which gives great access to most if the mrt/lrt/train and bus networks. No worries with surrounding amenities as it is beside a big mall, NU Central as well as various 24 hrs eateries and groceries stores. Staff is friendly as well. TV channels Are basic local channels with additional fox movies channel and a sports channel.
Now some minor concern is the checking in time I have encountered, was at the hotel at 2:30pm but the room was not ready until 4pm . That may be an isolated case, but this was commented By some guests as well. The room as as per many hoyels of such pricing, walls are thin and you may hear going ons outside the room ( the hotel is near the busy main road and beside a lrt track ). Last was the room I have requested comes with a non functional window as it was facing the bridge leading up to the mall and lrt station, leaves drawing up the curtain all the time as the room… is visible from the bridge.
Despite the few short comings of the room, the hotel is worth the money spent .
- Verified traveler (6/5): Easy review - Near public transportation but very noisy. Some food smells came in to room. ok beds. TV not working well at all.
- Fong (8/5): Location, location and location - Easily reachable via KL Sentral and NU Sentral/ Monorail Commuting Bridge.
Staff are friendly and accommodating.
- howard (8/5): Fine Budget Hotel - Fine experience. You just need to realize that it's a budget, no-frills hotel.
- JOSE (6/5): The smallest room - Over night stay. The room is the smallest room I've ever been in, it's described as a 35 M2 in the Hotels.com site but in reality it's half of that, at best. So small that the shower is almost on top of the toilet without separation so everything gets wet. Other than that it's OK.
- Anh (8/5): - Staffs are fine. The worst thing is that the receptionist dared trying to change us to a room with only 1 queen bed, while we intentionally booked for a room with 2 beds.
- Doreen (10/5): good for transit - 2nd stay, best location to transit. good service, fast check in
- Jern Wei (8/5): 7/10 "Not Bad Overall" - Overall it's quite worth for the value of the price as it's just at the opposite exit of Nu Sentral. Aside of that, the included breakfast is above average as the meals are basically mamak which is a local favourite.
- Cris (10/5): Very nice hotel near KL sentral station. - We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The staff were all nice and accomodating. Food was simple but great. Our room was very nice and clean. We'll be staying here again the next time we visit KL.
