- Verified traveler (10/5): - This is a beautiful home in a country location but an easy quick drive to Stratford for the theater. The breakfast was delicious and our hosts were warm and welcoming. Would definitely return if we come this way again.

Hostess was incredibly helpful and friendly. We definitely will be back. But everyone needs to know: they do not accept credit cards, we paid in cash( no checks with us) more than we expected. But every penny is worth it.

The hosts are lovely and the rooms are very comfortable!

They served a delicious breakfast the next day of homemade quiche, bacon, toast, jam, muffins, unlimited tea and coffee. We will definitely stay again and tell everyone to stay here when they go to Stratford! Mieke is Dutch so these VanderDoelens had much to talk about with her as well! ❤️

There was a bit of confusion about dietary restrictions we had...I called ahead to confirm and no, I hadn't let them know. I tried to be specific as to the limitations of a vegan and celiac diet, but there were some errors made the first morning that were rectified the second morning. So be sure to include all needed information in writing at the time of booking. Meike prides herself on providing a good experience to her guests and clearly loves hosting people.
