Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The second bedroom needs some proper blinds, and the kitchen could use a bigger frypan. Besides that, good.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - This was an illegal rental. The vendor was verbally aggressive and rude. Expedia did nothing to assist us with our troubles.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was very convienient location. Easy access to the transit.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The unit was clean and had all we needed for the night. Communication with the property manager was great, loved the you tube video of where to park it was very helpful. Perfect for our night over in Toronto. Thumbs up from us!!!
- Jason (10/5): - The staff was very helpful with checkin checkout and answer all questions, in a timely manner. Amazing location, convince of shops, quite. Overall decent and worked for what we needed it for. The apartment has everything you need to feel like home. I highly recommend this place.Thank you!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - At first I wasn’t completely unimpressed with this property.... but....
when we first arrived the property was not accessible when they said it would be and we had to wait 30-45 min for someone to come give us access. At first it wasn’t a big deal but it has only added to the overall pile of problems.
The place wasn’t overly clean an had many hand and dirt smears all over the walls and light switches. we wiped the switches down ourselves. And someone else’s hair was on the shower wall. There wasn’t an abundance of kitchen pots/pans, and as they had displayed a picture of a coffee machine and displayed coffe packs with it we assumed they had included coffee. They indeed had a pot coffee machine and not the pod machine which was fine, but did not supply any coffee. We didn’t pack much as it was advertised there was a washer and dryer in the unit, but it was “out of order”
The couch is not the pull out as advertised but does convert into a sleeper sofa, however there is a large slash in it preventing it from functioning as such.
I was initially told my cleaning deposit would be returned within 24-48 hrs but as it is 2 weeks since departing I have not received it, I have called, and sent 2 emails about this issue. Called my credit card company and they have no pending transactions for this despite the rep telling me on the phone they have refunded my deposit, and I have emailed asking for a receipt and not received that either, nor an acknowledgment they received it.
- Connie (2/5): Do not stay here! - Do not stay here. This company is very sketchy. On the booking page it says that there is a damage deposit required at check-in but they actually ask you to send it over Gmail separately outside of hotels.com. I am still waiting to receive a refund and now hotels.com can't help because I paid it privately . Also this booking says that it has two queen beds and it's definitely two double beds. The couch feels like it's made of material pulled over boards, hard as a rock. Also after my booking I was instructed as to how to check into into the hotel without any assistance and I was instructed not to speak to anyone in the apartment building which in my opinion is sketchy.
The location was okay not as close as I thought it was to downtown. It seemed like a college dorm room
- Moses (10/5): - I love this property. It's nice and cozy. There is a free Netflix on the TV as well. Very comfortable beds.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The Couch was broken, closet door falling off its hinges. No towel bar to hang towel to dry. This place needs to have general maintenance as it was showing bad wear in many places. It was far from lavish
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Clean, spacious unit with underground parking included. Great location (close to trendy Ossington and Queen West neighbourhoods), and within walking distance of grocery stores, restaurants, cafes, etc... Quick drive to the entertainment district, if so desired. Overall a great place at a great price!
- Verified traveler (4/5): Fit for only one family - Overall it was disappointing. Hotels.com should have stated that the loft only has one bathroom. 4 adults sharing a Jack and Jill bathroom was very uncomfortable, and disappointing. The only thing that kept us going was that we were there just to sleep. The bathroom was not well equipped with air freshener; it did not even have bath mats; it did not have the basic towel holder for crying out loud. It said washer and dryer out of service. We would not do laundry, but we at least wanted to dry our towels. The bed was so small for an average male (length wise). The house had so many rules that we were basically scared to do anything. It was our first air bnb type stay and that basically was our last. Next time it would be a regular hotel.
- isaac (4/5): Very uncomfortable stay - Very uncomfortable stay because apparently the neighbors and buiding management do not like shor terme guests.
There were signs posted all over the place warning that no shor term rentals were permitted in that building and if you did so, are subject to a fine and will be asked to leave the place. On top of that, the neighbors asked too many questions and even a woman from the suite at the front took a pictures of me and my family entering the property.
This made my stay very uncomfortable despite the facilities were good. I would never stay here again, I would not even recommend it despite you can save some money, is not worth it.
- Joanna (8/5): Our stay @ Lavish Suites - My stay was great. Place was really nice & comfortable for what we needed. The only thing that was a little hard (finding the pool), which was located in the other building. Besides that would stay again & recommend to family and friends.
- Jodi (8/5): Ideal location and amenities - Can't beat the location or the parking! There are lots of restaurants within walking distance and ideal for catching the street car on king or queen street.
The kitchen is a nice touch. The ceilings looked like they could use some TLC and the balcony wasn't much of the balcony we were picturing but overall we had a great stay :)
- Dwayne (10/5): Lavish Suites Condo, Toronto - A group of buddies and I went up to Toronto for the Craft Beer Festival down at the harbor. The directions on getting in the condo were easy to follow, it was located in a great area with tons of bars and restaurants. The condo itself was very nice and well kept. Overall the entire weekend was great and I would definitely stay here on future trips to Toronto.
- Stir (8/5): Great deal and convenient location - Clean and parking so convenient. Once you're parked you can walk everywhere.
- Angie (8/5): - Checking went exactly as expected. Apartment is clean and close to amenities
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Suited our needs perfectly and the location was great.
- Thomas (8/5): Not too shabby - Nice clean apartment. Horrible pillows. Indoor Swimming Pool was empty as in no water in it.
- Langga (10/5): A week of Comfort - CLean. Decent. Very good Location. Inexpensive. What more can you ask?! You made our Toronto vacay more speciaL. Thank you. More power from Miami w ❤️
- Verified traveler (6/5): Not worth the money - Massive dust bunnies under the bed, tv didn’t work, no extra blankets or pillows either. Wasn’t worth the price. Was about the equivalent of a super 8. Not worth the price.
- meaghan (8/5): Great value for location - The location was easy to find & close to everything we came for. The unit was great - small, but good for what we needed. The ventolation in the unit wasn’t the best. We found out the first night the room without windows does not get cool, but the room with the windows very much does. The gym & pool facilities are loacted in a different building, but they were satisfactory. The check-in/out process was very easy & any questions we had were answered promptly.
- Jonathan (8/5): - The suit overall was great only downside was that the bed and seating could use a comfort upgrade.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Great location. Thorough instructions to check in. Bed was comfortable. Wasn't as clean as I'd like. Bathtub had dirty ring and someone else's garbage in bathroom trash can.
- Kristen (8/5): Nice Condo for a nights stay - Small but is perfect for a quick & easy stay for a nights sleep 😴 😊
- Doreen (10/5): - The condo was a great location and met our needs. We love to be able to get groceries locally and do a little cooking
- sandra (4/5): Nope - The pictures were very flattering. What looked in the photos like modern industrial looked more like Soviet-era basement in actuality. Also, we were not given blankets and had to make do with the paper-thin bedspreads. The bathroom did not smell very clean. Overall, the feeling was cramped and the room could have used some fresh paint. On the bright side, the price was reasonable and the location was good.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice hotel. Great location. Staff was perfect and directions for check-in were flawless. Would definitely book again.
- Kevin (4/5): Not a hotel. Couldn't cancel. - I could have booked something similar on Air BNB for less money. I thought I was booking a 4 star hotel, not a run down unit in a condo building.
- Michelle (10/5): Nice Spot! - Nice spot! Comfy beds, ample living space, definitely a benefit over your traditional hotel. Very convenient to the downtown area and it worked well for our outing to the Enercare Centre! Check in and check out were a breeze. I would definitely entertain this as an option for accommodations again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great place - The place was great. I was really happy with the location. It's perfect for those who go to Toronto to see the sites.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Better than a Hotel - Nothing beats having a facility with all the amenities. Great location and very safe.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Quiet Condo close to downtown - The condo was modern, clean, and equipped with excellent appliances and TV/WiFi. Located close to restaurants, bars, LCBO, and grocery stores. It was easy to get to downtown via streetcar/subway.
- William (8/5): Convient - Functional
- Catherine (10/5): Nice little apartment close to downtown Toronto, - We were going to Exhibition place to attend the One of a Kind Christmas show, so this was a great location.
We stayed overnight and the place was a little home for us. It was clean and comfortable and we had everything we needed in the kitchen, the bedrooms and the bathroom. We loved the fact it was very quiet.
The management gave us very clear instructions, everything was easy to find. The private parking was very convenient.
I do recommend this place.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Lavish Suites - Great location and area. Apartment was comfortable and clean. Easy to get too, we enjoyed our stay.
- David (10/5): Bed was comfortable - The couch was very uncomfortable and needs to be replace. Tv was nice and the room was clean. The underground parking was very nice to have.
- lorraine (8/5): Easy check in and great location! - Super easy check in. It is a private condo so expectations to be respectful to others is expected. Great space and deal for the charged rate!!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Comfortable 2 Bedroom Suite - Unit was clean and confortable. Owner was very accomodating and helpful with a minor AC issue. Free parking was a plus!
- Stephen (6/5): Right next to the railroad tracks - As I mentioned to the administrator the fact that the room is immediately next to a major rail corridor should not be left out of the listing. It was very loud. Other than that the room was nice enough. But the elephant in the room is the location.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very convenient location, clean, easy checkin and checkout
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Check in and out was super smooth and the space was great. Not a traditional hotel so of course missing all of those kinds of service stuff. but the price and separate rooms easily made up for it!
- Sharon (10/5): Very nice place in Liberty Village!!! - We spent the night as a family and walked to medieval times. Had a swim in the nice pool the next day. Strolled Queen Street West and the owner suggested a wonderful affordable little breakfast spot.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great location - The room was clean and spacious. It has everything we need. We loved having the pool and the location is ideal. A block away from the hustle and bustle of Queen St but you don't hear the noise!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great Location, Great Stay - The suite was excellent and had everything you could need. Management was extremely helpful and very available. No complaints! Would definitely stay again.
- David (10/5): Close to the hospital that I had to go for day sur - Was a great place to stay. Quiet clean and had all the comforts of home.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The place was very nice and the management was super helpful. He was easy to contact and easy to talk to when we needed anything. I would definitely be back again!
- Dean (8/5): Close to our destiation - The room was clean and tidy. It wasn't quite ready when we arrived but was shortly thereafter. It was quiet and close to our destination. There were restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. We experienced no problems and staff was helpful in directing us to amenities.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great stay for a great price! - No complaints and the owner was very nice! They even had Netflix!
- Regularguy (6/5): Nice area, uncomfortable bed - I couldn't find a hotel downtown because everything was booked up or too expensive for my budget so I booked this condo. The condo was fine, but the process to get in was complicated compared to a hotel (separate emails from the condo manager, I needed to confirm that I got into the room and when I didn't because I was in a client meeting the manager told me I needed to answer the phone when he called...) and the beds were terrible. The manager of the condo wanted a $300 damage deposit done as a separate transaction which is an example of the added complication compared to a hotel. For a longer business stay this might be a good fit but given how hard it is for me to sleep with the time change the bed comfort didn't help.
