- Lauren (8/5): Absolutely beautiful! I would stay here again. - The room was absolutely beautiful. I loved the suite and the pool. Super comfortable bed and very clean room. I felt like they need more than one staff member working the front desk throughout the day. For check-in and check out I had to wait a very long time while the concierge was on the phone. Not the staff member's fault, but it was a long time! That's my only complaint.

- Leah (9/5): Very good hotel in an excellent location. - The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We appreciated the location so near to our evening event, and it was great to have secured underground parking. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was some confusion about arrival time and whether arriving early attracts an additional $15 charge. Upon review of our bill, we realized we were double billed for arriving an hour early. Old House was very good about explaining their policy and refunding the second early arrival charge.

We were greeted by Heli and she was very pleasant. Our suite was more than we expected and lovely. We also met Katherine at the front desk and she was also kind, and cordial. We will try to make it back as this was a wonderful stay

I'm sure the gym would be excellent if there had been time to use. Rooms are always clean and presentable. Personally the bed is far too soft for my liking... my only complaint!

There was some noise from the piledriving happening on the river right out our windows, but wasn't overnight so didn't really effect our stay. It's a walk outside to get to the hot tub/pool if your staying at the Maple building so a bit inconvenient when it was raining.

- Navigate20602449029 (2/5): Gorgeous Hotel, Amazing staff, poor/horrible booking experience. - Look, the hotel is gorgeous. The staff are amazing. However, I booked a room that was roughly $400 a night based solely on the pictures I was shown of the room when I was booking it. Upon arrival to the room, it was not what I was shown. It was still nice, I could knit pick (Painters were horrible, paint on the floor/carpet, didn't cut in, ect) but objectively it was a nice room. It just wasn't the room I was shown, and therefore was not the room I agreed to pay $400 a night for. This is alot of money for me and my family. We work hard and have a very small amount of time (and money) to give ourselves a break from the world for a couple days each year. These two or three days are meaningful. They're all we're able to give each other and when we feel like our dollars are mishandled, it hits hard. I do not for one second think The Old House is intentionally misrepresenting their rooms. They're proud of their rooms, and they should be. Again, objectively gorgeous rooms. But, they still should have a responsibility to accurately represent the rooms they're booking. This isn't rocket science, nor do I think is this too much to ask for from a multi-million dollar enterprise. I will never stay there again, because I have no way of knowing what I'm booking from afar.

I will recommend your hotel for the rest of my life just becusse of her!! Don't ever loose a employee like that it's people like her who make or break a buisness and with her in your head office you go from just another average Joe blow hotel too excellent service and a place I will highly recommend for the rest of my life! There wasn't anything not too like the staff alone made it impossible too even notice anything that we might not have liked! From the night time man in the stock room who lent us scissors so could get some last minute wrapping done. Too the lady at the front desk who issued us another card when we locked ourselves out of the room... Too the lady who made it all possible too begin with! (She knows who she is) and I hope she gets too see this! She also sent us off with complimentary cookies that wernt even put out yet becuzse it was too early! You know what I realized when your surrounded by the right people the rest doesnt really matter! And the Old House definitely has all the right people dont change a thing! 🥰 10 star service!
- 768keelym (10/5): Perfect and Relaxing Christmas Getaway - Visited the old house hotel from. Dec 24-26 and stayed in the one bedroom apartment. It felt so cozy and homey for Christmas. We made a nice Christmas dinner, enjoyed the fireplace and movies on the TV. Bed was soo comfortable, and the whole ambience of the hotel was relaxing. We were absolutely blown away. Really enjoyed the hot tub and heated pool as well. We may have to make this an annual trip!

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how private, quiet, and spotlessly clean everything was. It was the perfect relaxing getaway. The suite itself was fantastic. The bed was one of the most comfortable we've ever slept in, and the duvet was just perfect. We also loved having two TVs—one in the bedroom and one in the living room. A huge and unexpected bonus was the in-suite washer and dryer; it was so convenient that we ended up using it every day. Little touches like the well-stocked coffee station and fresh cookies made the stay feel even more special. The extra special, unforgettable experience was the sea lion show literally right outside our room! We had the best view and watched the whole thing right from our balcony. It was such a unique and magical moment. We give this hotel a 10/10 and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. We will definitely be back!

The dark washcloth for makeup removal is a smart offering & I appreciated all the hooks for hanging clothing & towels. The furniture, furnishings & decor were tasteful & pleasing. My husband really liked the cookies left in the lobby, along with the cappuccino machine & water. Dinner at the Old House was delicious & reasonably priced. Nice location with easy access to the riverside walk & proximity to the downtown. Finally, the commitment to environmental stewardship sets them apart (compost in the lobby along with recycling bins) & fits our values. I wasn't able to access the WiFi but that may have been on me.

It is quiet, clean, and perfectly located with gorgeous beaches within 30 minutes and a lovely walk along the Courtney River just outside the door. The atmosphere is outstanding. The staff is friendly, efficient, responsive and accommodating. It is a home away from home with great attention to detail- the furnishings, the flowers, the welcoming lobby. It is lovely to find a pet-friendly place with all the boxes ticked.

- Martha (8/5): This is an OK place to stay and it's right on a pedestrian path so you can easily walk to restaurants. - It was quiet and clean The windows in our room would not open. I know this is how a lot of hotels are being constructed, but I do feel uncomfortable when I can't get some fresh air into a room. The pillows are big and really more appropriate to be used as fenders on a fishing boat. They're good if you wanna sit up in bed and watch TV, but I found them too bulky to sleep with.

- PE (7/5): Nice enough but would not re-book - Quiet, clean, and well-located near services. Reception staff were warm and professional. The spa & spa staff were excellent. Room was not as well-appointed as one would expect for the style and cost of the hotel. No entrance closet or hooks to hang/place wet coats and shoes (and It was pouring while we were in town) and linen/clothes closet too small. TV was placed too far from the bed to see/hear with ease. Only one phone/device charger outlet which is not enough for today's digital world. The scent of the carpet/room cleaner used is overpowering and unpleasant (chemical-smelling). We probably would not rebook this hotel.

Pisicine extérieur avec jacuzzi sympa Personnel sympathique et disponible Bruit de la rue parfois un peu trop présent mais néanmoins cela reste très calme la nuit
- JENNIFER (10/5): Home away from home - I was expecting a 'regular' hotel room. I love all the extras from the makeup mirror to the fireplace not to mention an in room dishwasher and washer and dryer! Hubby is obsessed with the coffee machine downstairs, the cookies and apples are a nice bonus too! I would have booked for our entire stay on the island if I had known I would fall in love! The air park path behind is perfect and we walked to restaurants and the grocery store. That I didn't book my whole stay here!!
- Taylor (10/5): Great Business Stay in Courtney - Great stay - the room is very spacious and always have the ammenities i need for staying during my business trip. I will say there is a lot of swithces and some of the light fixtures and the outlet confiurations could be updated - but overall a great stay
