• Mary (9/5): - We loved the pool area, a little oasis away from the city. Our room was comfortable and had a balcony looking over the courtyard. Breakfast was delicious - typical costa rican plus usual comforts. Great fruit too. There was fresh fruit juice available in the reception and water filter systems throughout. There were also hand washing stations. You could see staff cared about the place and were doing a good job keeping it neat, clean, and pleasant. My boyfriend would have liked the AC to get a little cooler in the room.

• Donald (9/5): A great location and the customer service was super! - The staff was excellent. The pool area is in the center of the property and is well maintained. The breakfast buffet had a lot of choices. It is an older property, but well maintained.

• de Braganca (5/5): Staff were amazing, beautiful landscape and pool, but rooms, reception and bathrooms need a massive - The breakfast was okay, it’ll met the requirements for a meal. Staff were really accommodating and very friendly The hotel needs an upgrade. Everything was very old, and very dated. The reception looked awful, such old furniture, very old and rusty bathrooms.

Also, the hotel is in front of a supermarket and other many services across the road. Beaches are also near the place. Wi fi was terrible

Not enough plugs, bed was not super comfortable, and room needed an update. However, the worst was the Internet. It was horrible, so if you need to work, go to Starbucks across the road.

• Jonathan (8/5): - El hotel podría llamarse de paso, no es para una larga estadía si no para estadías breves, sin embargo, su staff fue amable, el cuarto y la piscina cumplían lo mínimo para sentirnos cómodos. Las instalaciones está un poco viejas y se podría mejorar algunas paredes o distribución eléctrica, pero en general por su ubicación, cumple lo esperado. Recomendado para estadías breves en zonas regionales de Costa Rica. Desayuno (no tiene Natilla)

• Colin (5/5): One night is all you get. - The pool area was nice. Surrounded by trees for a bit of shade. The room itself was a good size with king bed and a small patio. The bathroom lighting did not work at all. The door look like they have been kicked in and repaired instead of replaced. It was 37* when we arrived, went to the attached restaurant and it was open air !! Soooo hot. Right next to a very busy road. Very poor.

• Joanna (6/5): We came for the pool slide - Pools were clean and had several in one area so it was easy to watch the kids, who loved the pool slide. Breakfast was simple but good. Free filtered water stations. There was always someone at the reception desk if we had questions. when you arrive, the hotel is surrounded by a chain link fence and barbed wire. We also arrived at night, which gave the whole hotel exterior a prison feel. It wasn't until we got into our rooms and opened up the door that leads into the courtyard/pool area that it starts to feel like an actual hotel. Room was a little small/cramped. Shower drained very slowly so we were left with dirty standing water at the end of every shower. General location is busy next to a freeway underpass but you can walk to several restaurants.

• Culmo (7/5): It was fine and would probably stay there again thanks to location - The pool is pretty and was enjoyed by the family and especially the kids. The breakfast was ok. Good location - across the street from Starbucks and close to other good restaurants bars and the airport. The rooms are in need of a remodel, everything was noticeably "old". The noise was excessive and noticeable as there were international adolescent groups there that were loud throughout the night and also early morning. Easily heard and disturbing through the walls and doors that did not seal. All doors had wide visible gaps - allowing noise and biting insects. Bedding was outdated and only 3 pillows per bed. Four pillows per bed is common. Also, only one bath towel per person per room. Women commonly need two - one for body and one for hair. A little upgrading would be good.

• NANCY (8/5): Parfait pour une escale d’arrivée ou de départ! - Emplacement parfait pour une nuit au début ou à la fin d’un séjour parce que près de l’aéroport et des locations d’autos. Belles piscines et beaux espaces extérieurs. Beaucoup de restaurants à proximité. Le confort des chambres est minimal. Le mobilier est désuet et la propreté de la salle de bain est douteuse.
• Mónica (3/5): No lo recomiendo del todo, a menos que no tengan otra opción de lugar céntrico. - Habitacion comoda con balcon. Ubicacion centrico. Parqueo poco incomodo. Internet baja calidad. La infraestructura del hotel en general tienen que mejorar mucho. Es más para familias con niños, no lo recomiendo para parejas que quieren silencio y privacidad.
• Rand (9/5): Todo muy bien en general - En relación al desayuno estaba muy bien y alanceada. La piscina está muy bien y con una temperatura agradarble. Una muy buena ubicación céntrico, para poder moverse o trasladarse a las diferentes playas que se encuentral sercanas. Por el tiempo que estuve todo esta muy bien. No tengo ningún comentario nigativo en contra del hotel General me gusto y si DIOS me lo permite, espero volver alojarme a dicho hotel. No hay nada que no me gustó de dicho lugar gracias.
• Susanne (8/5): - The staff were very helpful, considerate and hardworking. Everyone worked hard to keep the facilities very clean. The pool was tended to several times a day, the gardens were swept, and the rooms cleaned daily including the balconies! The breakfast was a buffet with alot of delicious choices and as much as you want. The hotel is quite dated with very odd electrical. You had to put your room card in a slot by the door for the lights to work but we were never informed about this??? The wifi connection was very poor with no connection at all several times a day with poor TV connection.

But in the bathroom there is a portal to ? the roof that was half open, which was disconcerting. Made us think of animals that could come in or cameras that could be planted, although we didn’t think that happened. See above. That’s all.

• Munoz (10/5): Mi estadía relajante en Hotel Boyeros - El ambiente del hotel es bien acogedor, el personal sumamente amable y servicial, además la localización es muy céntrica tanto para los tours, como para comer y conseguir cosas de comer. También para los creyentes católicos tienen misa en el pueblo diariamente a solo 9 a 10 minutos caminando. Excelente en general. Podrían mejorar la variedad de alimentos en el desayuno.

• Bob (8/5): A perfectly fine place to stay on your way in or out of Liberia. - A great place to overnight before flying out the next day. The lush plantings around the pool were very enjoyable, an oasis in the city centre. The breakfast had a good selection and the dining area was pleasant.

• GraniteRN (7/5): A great courtyard and pool. - The courtyard area was beautiful, like a 60s movie set. Our room was quiet and spacious and looked on to the beautiful pool. The room could definitely use a remodel. It was clean, but the old fixtures, ceiling, blinds, shades, and furniture made it seem grimy. Tables out in the courtyard need to be cleaned more frequently. The restaurant should be more accessible to guests. Instead of having to walk out to the front of the hotel, it would be nice to order from the side nearest the pool.
