• Tejas (3/5): Stay only if you dont have other options around - Welcoming staff behaviour. It's a very old motel. The bedsheets and room felt like they hadn't been cleaned for a long time. Dead pests were found around. The pool water was not clean. It's just passable accommodation if you really want to book something and are left with no other options. Uncomfortable bed, paper-thin pillows, and hairs around the toilet and inside the shower. Don't pay for this again in case you have to stay. On top of that, the area is not safe at nighttime for families. Not recommended for families.

• Jordan (1/5): Avoid at all costs. - Leaving. Extremely uncomfortable bed, paper thin pillows and PUBIC HAIRS around the toilet and inside the shower. Worst motel I’ve ever stayed in.

• Schubert (9/5): - It was close to our event and all the facilities we needed, the gentleman that we saw daily was lovely and very helpful. The kids loved the pool, That we had no facilities to wash the kids' sports uniforms even if we had to pay we would have. the wifi didn't work and had no reception in the room. The rule on arrival was no noise after 9 p.m., which was extremely hard having a autistic child.

There were hairs in the sheets when I pulled them back to climbed into the bed. We had concerns about the electrical connections in the room, including the fire alarm hanging from the ceiling.
• Sarah (3/5): It needs a big clean and makeover. Wouldn’t stay there again. - There’s a microwave, iron with Board, hangers, extra blankets, fridge, aircon and private bathroom. It was so dirty. Hair on the bed. Floor was dirty- my kids had socks on and within minutes the bottom of their socks were so dirty. Make sure you bring slippers. The bathroom tap had toothpaste marks and sink was not cleaned properly. There was a cockroach and droppings around the beds. Basically they desperately need professional cleaning. I think it’s just an elderly couple that own it and perhaps they can’t see to clean properly or they hire someone that’s taking them for a ride and doing a crap job at cleaning. I don’t think the comforters were changed before our stay. Would never stay there again. I have stayed in many motels across Australia. This was sadly the worst due to it being dirty. I feel so bad to leave bad review but I hope it can help them to fix things. It’s clearly a very old motel. Been painted to make it look nicer but it could do with a makeover inside and a thorough professional cleaning after each and every customer.

Staff were lovely There was a domestic dispute overnight with the neighbour. Everybody in the hotel could hear this argument but maybe the staff could have either kicked them out or called the police.

• Butcher (8/5): Over all very good and value for money. - Helpful staff, value for money , clean rooms. The tap washers need changing, hard to turn off. If you don’t have thongs walking barefoot to the pool across gravel is tough. A rough tarmac . If there was a pool gate closer to the building it’d be better and some shady areas by the pool. Got stinged on dishwashing detergent though.Needs to be a bit more. . The curtains were a bit short and the light came through and bothered my partner. Couldn’t really adjust them too well.

• Lisa (4/5): It was a bed for the night but I won’t be back. - That it had a security door and key chain. The aircon worked. Very run down, shower screen rusted open so had to shower with it open. Vanity drawers falling apart. Obvious stains on bedspreads.

• Melissa (1/5): - Unfortunately the moment we arrived I knew we where up for an interesting stay. The rooms smelt mouldy and musty with mouldy growing on all windows and through out the bathrooms. Pool was closed but with no sign stating so and two children where yelled at for swimming,could not find mention of pool closure online. Website says laundry facilities-no laundry facilities available for use. The property is old,dirty and falling apart and im desperate need of some renovations and a deep clean

Central to the town and not far from clubs pubs and coffee shops, train station, and racecourse. Good size bathroom with a proper shower door, not a curtain. Suited us as we just stayed 1 night and didnt want or need added extras. The floor is tiled in the room we had, which is a bit cold on the feet, but the heater works well . Maybe a bit of carpet.

• Verified traveler (2/5): Give this one a miss - Our room lacked curtains. When we queried this the owner said he had only been there 3 weeks and no one else had complained! We usually wash up any dishes we've used but didn't because there wasn't any dishwashing liquid supplied. The cupboard under the kitchen sink was off one hinge. The cutlery tray had rusty, grimy cutlery. See photos.
