- Pearl (8/5): - Kutchen well equipped.
Plenty of room.

Stairs where steep.

- Sagnik (5/5): - Value for money Place is pretty dated and not really what we expected
- Allison (10/5): Tidy, clean, comfy, no stress holiday - Clean, comfy, quiet, reasonable, friendly, no fuss, easiest weekend away! The stairs! I’m a klutz, not their fault!
- Sophie (8/5): - Very easy check in process, room good size and staff were friendly, great to have access to laundry facilities Sauna was closed during our stay
- Tiantian (9/5): - Good location, clean, comfortable The stairs to the upstairs are a bit noisy
- XUTAO (6/5): One night in Ohakune - Whole chalet with unique wooden and countryside style. John and Sue are very friendly and feel like family. Car park in front of room is very easy to load/unload. Simple and not well equipped for holiday stay. No shampoo & bath gel. Shower water pressure is not strong.
- Sylvie (7/5): Good place and Price to explore the région - Price, bed confortable, had cooking facilities, parking at front, great location to explore the surrounding tourist area if you have a car. Stairs to the bedroom were a bit noise when used
- Josua (7/5): -
- Nigel (8/5): Warm, clean and comfortable. Bland - Comfortable, clean, Dated .Ski lodge vibe a bit too basic for our tastes. No contact or interaction with any staff. When there was an opportunity virtually ignored.
- Maya (5/5): -
- Kirsty (9/5): -
- Brigitte (7/5): - Les escaliers trop bruyants. Les fenêtres laissent passer le vent. Les lits sous les combles sont limites pour se lever ou se coucher.
- IAN (9/5): - Good locality Stairs to reach the bedroom.
- julie (8/5): - a lovely chalet.
- Monique (8/5): Great little nook for a short stay - It was comfortable.
- Lynette (7/5): - Bedroom very small and very poor water pressure
- Maria (8/5): -
- Johanna (9/5): - No one was at reception but we were greeted with a welcoming letter explaining everything we needed to know.
The chalet is spacious with a kitchen a living room, and a table in the kitchen .
There was a heat pump to keep us warm.
The bed was very cosy.
The place was very quiet. The stairs to go up in the bedrooms as they were wooden and a bit narrow.
No light above or near the bed.
- Shona (7/5): Clean and warm unit, friendly staff, perfect for our overnight stay -
- Elizabeth (10/5): -
- Ted Groufsky (8/5): This was only for an overnight stop to break a long journey, but it was a very pleasant interlude. - Very comfortable warm bed. Well insulated unit with very efficient heat pump. Contained all the facilities one needed for a short stay at least. The place naturally, given the location, is geared towards skiers in the winter season, and would be excellent for that. Beds were all upstairs but that was clear from the website photos and recognised before booking. However, the stairs were very steep and individual steps were not even of a depth that could take one's whole foot. Therefore, extreme care needs to be taken, especially when going down, and especially at night (bathroom & toilet facilities being on the ground floor).
- Margaret (10/5): Great - Very quiet . Washing facilities were a bonus Stairs were a bit narrow
- Seletar (9/5): Great value for money - Great location and great room. Close to town and the host heated the room for us as we arrived in the evening
- David (10/5): -
- Nancy (10/5): Excellent location great stay. - Excellent stay. Everything needed for cooking in the kitchen. Comfortable beds great shower, plenty of space to move around, very easy access. Laundry only had one washer and dryer, but it was free! Had no problem accessing it when needed . Responsive host. Everything was perfect

- Hadfield (7/5): -
- Bryan (9/5): Peaceful and comfortable -
- Will (7/5): Decent value but don't expect premium - Decent size, relatively cheap and in a good location. Felt a little run down, seemed like there was or has been damp on the ceiling. Nobody there to check us in.
- C (10/5): Very pleasant comfortable stay. - Good location, very clean. Nothing.
- Jennifer (9/5): Comfortable and friendly staff - The customer service was so helpful.
- Jill (9/5): - Clean room, comfortable bed, away from traffic, ideal for our one night stay.
- Kenny (7/5): -
- Charles (10/5): Excellent - Good location, easily found
- Jodie (8/5): -
- Michelle (9/5): Chalet with charm and full size kitchen and fridge. Good value and cozy stay - Big kitchen and full size fridge. Netflix available. Free washing machine and tumble drier - was great as we arrived very wet and muddy. Mattresses were soft and a bit uncomfortable. Unable to lock door - needed instructions.
- Rhonda (9/5): Great value for money - Plenty of beds and bedding, plenty of parking, clean tidy chalet with good facilities,I would stay here again good value for Money spent Mattress was a thinner foam which i found unacomfortable as I am a larger lady. No Oven in the kitchen.
- Alexander (8/5): Really enjoyed the location and facilities provided. Will book again next time in Ohakune. - We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom chalet which was a perfect layout for us. Nice spacious lounge area. It looked as though the kitchen and bathroom were brand new! Chalet was much warmer than expected. Upstairs was a bit creaky.
- Emma (10/5): -
- alain (9/5): - Petit chalet individuel très mignon avec sa terrasse, très grand pour 3 personnes. Nous n'avons vu personne mais pas de soucis pour le check in Voiture nécessaire pour aller au centre ville
- Karyn (8/5): We enjoyed our stay very affordable and had everything we needed. Nice location town was a skip and a hop away. Highly r -
- Karyn (8/5): Enjoyed our stay. Check in was smooth and we loved the little spaces in the chalets. Beautiful location below Mt Ruapehu -
- John (8/5): We enjoyed this chalet with its comfortable living downstairs and bedroom upstairs. - Quiet, comfortable and roomy. A well equipped kitchen with a fridge freezer. We appreciated the milk, tea and coffee provided. The location was convenient for the walking we did. The cold tap in the bathroom needs a new washer.
- Nicola (7/5): - Great location, cute cabin with a well equipped kitchen . Clean and tidy with lots of space The double bed was uncomfortable with roll together and very springy . Shame as we really liked the place and would have given a high score
- Andrew (10/5): Good value, would recommend - Quiet area, spacious chalet, very friendly host. Had a late night scare before the morning of our Tongariro Alpine crossing hike that we could t find our car keys! But we found them
- Imogen (8/5): Comfortable and enjoyable stay. Thanks! - Nice quiet location. Kids made friends with the neighbours. Had everything we needed. My only suggestion would be black out curtains. Trying to get kids to sleep in summer was tricky when it was so light in the room!
- Amber (5/5): Not the best stay sadly - I don’t think I would come back again Very small bed so had to use the single bed on floor which was very uncomfortable, and the upstairs floor was VERY squeaky floor boards
- Angela (7/5): -
- Elizabeth (10/5): Excellent place. - Quiet, lovely spot with beautiful gardens and a stream running out the back. Excellent facilities - no issues. Walk into town - about 15 minutes. All was good.
- Si Yang (9/5): Cute, clean chalet with excellent facilities - Clean, spacious, great kitchen and laundry facilities. Plenty of windows which was great in summer. Bedroom was small, but plenty of room in the living room. Much nicer in person than in photos. Water pressure in the shower was a little weak, fine elsewhere. TV angle was odd.
- Atkin (8/5): -
- Albert (10/5): - Everything was perfect. Clean, nice views, quiet.
- Rosalie (9/5): - Spacious and homely feeling, free laundry facilities, quiet Cold tap in bathroom basin hard to turn off
- Carolina (10/5): - Very cute little cabin with a big fridge. Location is very peaceful, nice surroundings. We were just passing by for a night, but we fell in love with the carrot playground, it was so lovely! A must do with kids. Nothing wrong with the place. But a hairdryer would be great 🙂
- Paula (6/5): - Cheap for a one night stay. Plenty of room for two people. Full kitchen and a good sized fridge. Nice garden space to relax in the sun. Dated and other people staying using washing and drying facilities late at night and again just after 6am in the morning. If your room is away from this it would be ok. TV did not work but for a one night stay was not a huge issue.
- tracy (9/5): -
- Kerry (7/5): One night stay - Had everything we needed for one nights stay Nil
- Alicia (8/5): Cute chalet, quiet and very clean. - Very clean and well equipped kitchen for basic cooking. Very quiet, clear instructions to check in/out as no one was around to greet us. A bit far out of town. We adults slept on the bunk beds as they didn’t fit our 6’1 tall 16 year old son (were built in on the end so he couldn’t hang over the edge) and the bunk beds were very sunken in the middle. Also the water pressure was poor. Still a lovely place though
- Alena (7/5): Overall pleasant stay, good value for money. - Large for the price, had good facilities, value for money. Very low water pressure, place is generally a little run down, I.e. there was a piece of wood to keep the sliding door from opening. Ran out of toilet paper and the reception wasn’t manned.
- Larissa (6/5): - Quiet location and chalet was spacious. The place needs updating, it's a bit run down
- Steven (7/5): - Quiet location
Manager not on site but check in was easy Building looks a little run down and could do with a freshen up
- John (9/5): - Stayed one night and enjoyed our short stay here
- Karen (9/5): -
- Nigel (8/5): Comfortable, affordable accommodation - Position, layout, suggestions from Sue Nothing
- Makere (9/5): Great location. Sorry to hear you are selling up. - Quiet. Clean. Good towels. Great shower.
- Dianne (10/5): - Met our needs perfectly
- Joo Meng (10/5): Happy - Clean, spacious and kitchen was great. We were able to prepare our meals with comfort.
- Cranston (7/5): -
- Janet (8/5): Nice a quite place with lots of room to park and comfortable - The creaky stairs were entertaining. Great set up with having the living downstairs and sleeping upstairs
- Bill (9/5): - Everything was extremely clean and comfortable - communication with owners was great
Close to turoa and city centre A television with access to child programmes and movies
- Tahni (9/5): Amazing experience to see the snow and the mountain - Location was great ! A little older but good value for money
- Hui Fang (7/5): -
- Liam (10/5): -
- Pala (7/5): -
- Matthew (10/5): - Perfect spot for a young family to stay the night after a busy day on the mountain. Warm, great shower, comfortable beds, and a well set up kitchen.
- David (8/5): The genuine ski-lodge experience - Ossies is a fun place to stay for the genuine "ski lodge" experience with it's rustic wood interior and "bunk room" upstairs. I've stayed many times and will keep coming back.
- Leila (10/5): Lovely stay in a beautiful part of the world - The amount of space in our chalet. Everything was neat and tidy and well equipped. My tall / larger husband found the shower and toilet quite ‘tight’ for his size.
- Melanie (10/5): -
- Vai chau (8/5): Comfortable stay for a weekend away - Nice and warm chalet! Nice deck overlooking the stream. Great for family. Good location!
- Taryn (8/5): - Quick check in, chalet spacious & waem
- Enriquez (10/5): -
- Maxime (9/5): -
- Talia (10/5): Fantastic chalet! - Spacious, immaculately clean, great facilities. Friendly staff and quiet location. Great drying cupboard for wet clothes after skiing.
- Katrina (10/5): Welcoming and cozy - Location and comfort
- Alex (8/5): warm cosy cabin, kids loved the bunk beds upstairs! - clean bedding furniture is a pet peeve and this was super clean and good quality white LED lighting was a bit harsh, had to turn it upwards to avoid glare
toilet had good water pressure but shower did not
- Yu-Hua (8/5): - Full equipped kitchen, rooms are clean and comfortable for a short trip.
- Louise (7/5): -
- Olivia (10/5): Great place to stay if you’re heading to the mountain! - We arrived quite late at night but to our delight we arrived to a note, our room key, and our heat pump had been put on for us so the room was nice and warm for the kids to settle in. We were only here for a weekend but it was great accommodation right in the heart of Ohakune. Also like how they had different bins for sustainability.
- Philip (8/5): very good money for value - Place was clean and very warm
