• Griffin (9/5): Very relaxed atmosphere - Owners were wonderful from arrival to departure. Its in a quiet area but was only 10mins drive to where we needed to go. Bed was a little softer than were used too but still comfy.

• Claire (10/5): I would do it again. - The property was beautiful - the spa bathroom was a treat. More than anything it was Helen and Peter who made my stay perfect with an incredible breakfast I had the option of taking on my private breakfast terrace, and amazing recommendations of where to go. Some of the other guests were louder than expected in the main area, but not unduly so.

• Laurel's (9/5): Very comfortable, a lovely setting and short walk to local shops. - Breakfast options varied and plentiful. The kitchen was perfect for us and the lounge areas and dining room excellent. The pademelons and cockatoos provided entertainment during breakfast, plus the outside eating area was excellent. Our room was very comfortable and super clean. Hosts Helen and Peter friendly and helpful. The weather extremely wet for our 2 night visit and limited our exploration of the area. Luck of the draw!

• June (10/5): A perfect stay - I loved the layout of the Mountain Sanctuary B&B. It has a communal lounge with a fireplace, a communal kitchen with a fridge, microwave and kitchen utensils etc, a communal TV room, a BBQ area. Helen and Peter, our hosts, were very friendly and helpful. They also gave us a bottle of local Sparkling Wine to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary. The Continental Breakfast was plentiful and Helen ensured we had warm croissants every morning. There are only 3 Suites and ours was the biggest Suite, The Palm Grove Suite which was located on a corner of the house so we had nice views of the Garden and a balcony with table and chairs. Our Suite had a Spa bath which we didn't use unfortunately, a couple of bottles of water, a variety of tea sachets, coffee sachets, a small carton of milk, toiletry items. The location was only a couple of minutes drive to Gallery Walk on Mt Tambourine with quirky shops galore, Cafes, Restaurants etc. The mattress and chairs were a bit soft for us with back and mobility issues but I resolved that with putting pillows on the chair.

My husband and I had a beautiful wedding anniversary weekend away and this place exceeded our expectations. Everything was perfect! Especially the delish hot breakfast delivered to us each morning! 10/10! Nothing, this place was perfect.

• Baad (6/5): Pleasant - The owners were lovely, and the location was good, close to the gallery walk. The spa was awesome. The glasses and cups, towels, and linen were clean, and the room had a nice character. The toilet wasn't clean when we arrived at night. disgusting. However I asked them in the morning and they came kindly to clean it, but even after that, they didn't clean it properly!!! (The photos are after cleaning!) Inside the cabinets and all the corners were so dirty too. The bed was so wobbly! We couldn’t get a good sleep over our stay. It's a B&B! But the breakfast was only a very limited continental breakfast, and we had to pay for cooked dishes. It's a very dated accommodation, yes! Don't expect the useless aircon to keep you even close to a relaxing temperature. Something basic, like a wine opener, could be a lovely addition to the room.

• Lauren (10/5): Quiet Stay in the Mountain - This B&B is an absolute delight. Set back from the road and surrounded by vegetation, it is super quiet on the grounds. Offering only 3 rooms, the noise level from other guests is also minimal. The provided breakfast was fresh and delicious, offering coffee and tea, juice, fresh fruit, and fixings for toast. The decor is a little aged, so if you’re after something super modern this may not be for you. Super cozy with lots to do around; nothing on the mountain takes long to get to.

• Marten (10/5): Beautiful accommodation, peaceful environment and delightful continental breakfast. - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mountain Sanctuary B&B. The location of the property is great. We walked to the restaurants, shops and Fortitude brewery on Long Road (The Gallery Walk). The Palm Grove rainforest walking circuit is only 100 m down the road. Further shops and restaurants are only 3 km (5 mins drive) away. The hosts, Helen & Peter, are very welcoming people and do their best to make you feel at home. It was great to enjoy breakfast with the birds having their breakfast outside the window of the breakfast room. Nothing! We had a great time.

• Anonymous (10/5): Absolutely wonderful experience! - Helen and Peter were amazing. They let us check in early as we had arrived earlier than expected. We had both breakfast options during our stay and they were honestly the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. Lots of options to choose from. And the music playlist they had playing during breakfast was lovely. The bed was so comfortable and the pillows were amazing, very soft. The private bathroom was very spacious. The spa bath was superb. I am 5 foot 8 and was able to stretch out completely with room to spare. Shower pressure was strong, and the shower itself was huge. The private balcony was absolutely beautiful. The room itself was completely sound proof which was great. They had undercover parking and the grounds themselves were flat and everything was easily accessible. The property and surrounding areas were breathtaking. Had everything I could want and more and will definitely be back if I’m ever in QLD again.
