The property is in a great spot. The trees and pool and surrounds are lovely and the units a good size. I wasn’t prepared for all the steps. A couple of issues with the sliding doors in our unit - couldn’t lock the ones on to the veranda. Overall a great spot. Just need a ground floor :)

- Adam (10/5): - I wish I could say this was one of the worst places ever stayed just so I can keep coming back whenever I want and not being booked out but in fairness to the owners… this place was awesome!! We stayed in one of the best, well equipped apartments I have ever stayed and not mention the pool was 5m away, a private beach access- 5m from back door then 15m walk to the beautiful beach. Can’t get much better than that ! The “rainforest” outlook made it feel as if you were completely surrounded in lush rainforest. This is the perfect family holiday retreat ! We’ll be back for sure !
- Rob (2/5): Filth Filth and more Filth - This property is poorly managed and poorly kept. I travel every week for work and pleasure. This has to be the absolute worst I have seen in many years. The filth inside this apartment has taken years to build up to the levels we saw. Every surface was a source of filth and grime. The cleaning staff have obviously never been training in the correct way to clean an apartment. I thought the filthy stains on my towel was the highlight. Please note the state of the cushions...I washed one and not the other. You will get the idea.

Would’ve been nice if there was a small hotel size washing powder sachet to allow us the ability for one wash. Was also very disappointing that the heating wasn’t working on the pool, and that we weren’t advised it wouldn’t be working in advance (it was broken and being fixed), as we had told the kids they would be able to swim throughout our stay. :-( Pool was great with a slide, the kids loved that, but without the heating it was too cold. Otherwise all was fine, the owners were lovely.

- Garry (10/5): - Our stay was in apt 16, which was lovely. It has a week equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge area and 3 good size bedrooms and great showers. Just open the doors and listen to the ocean!
- Tim (4/5): - Whilst the location is amazing its such a shame to rely just on that... the experience started when I received the check in details on my booking, I noticed it was check from 2pm as you would expect, however reception closed at 2pm so I rang and was told that tried to get everyone in by 2pm??? As the units are owned individually I imagine every experience could be different, however our unit no 9 was in desperate need of a deep clean, whilst the bathrooms were clean, every other aspect of the property was tired and dirty and needed repairs and refurbishment, such a shame as it could be so much more :( sadly I won't be back.

However, location is great with walking distance to cafes/beach/ playground and our kids loved the pool and slide. Would stay here again, good value for money.
- Donna (8/5): - The location is great. A short walk through rainforest to get to the beach. Our room was in need of a refurb. Given the fee was a bit surprised that it was a bit run down. Having said that the bathrooms have been renonovated and were very nice. Our neighbours above ensured we were awake every morning at 6am due to their incessant jumping, running up and down the stairs and dropping what sounded like marbles. So perhaps dont get ground floor.

The property also offers free rental of DVDs, great selection of cartoons and movies. However, I was expecting a renovated unit as we have booked for a deluxe 2 bedroom apartment but was told deluxe means airconditioned.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Needs a clean. - Unfortunately, I couldnt recommend staying here. The couple who run it are lovely but the accomodation needs attention and cleaning. Out room smelt and our bathroom wasn't especially clean. We had to ask for extra toilet as there wasn't any extras in either bathroom. The unheated swimming pool looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. While the heated one was fine.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Location location - We had a 3 night stay with 2 kids 6 and 7 yrs old. Amazing location 2 mins walk to Moffat beach (but with no beach views) Moffat beach is not patrolled meaning you can’t swim safely there, so you need to walk another 5-10 mins along the beach to Dickey Beach to the flags. However, next to Moffat is Tooway creek, perfect for young kids to play in. The property has beautiful leafy gardens, but could do with a bit of a trim here and there. The accommodation itself was good. Great heated pool with a slide. The 2-bedroom units were quite spacious with 2 bathrooms upstairs. We found the mattress on the double bed was very old (extremely soft) and the TV was a cheap, basic set. Apparently there was FOXTEL (cable TV) but I couldn’t get it to work. The dining room table was a 4 seater square - very small, you could only fit 4 plates and 4 cups, barely room to put a dish in the middle of the table. The management were friendly and helpful. Overall we enjoyed the stay but found the price is slightly on the high side for the accommodation - but remember, the location is what you're paying for!

- Verified traveler (8/5): - The property was lovely and green lovely listening to birds in trees. Unheated pool quite and secluded. Only disappointment was the room we viewed and booked online was not the room we were given. I was disappointed to pay $350 a night and have x1 balcony overlooking driveway and rubbish bin and the the other balcony overlooking the pool shed. Other than this the management were very efficient, friendly and welcoming. Oh well this is the price you have to pay for Xmas peak time if I had of known about the view I would not have booked this accommodation.

Curtains in main bedroom had holes in them along with the rod holding blinds in another bedroom barely hanging on. The unit definitely needs attention. Having said this the management went out of their way to fix issues. Cannot fault what they have done as it’s not their unit to fix
- Verified traveler (8/5): - We recently stayed for a family vacation. Initially a bit disappointed at check-in but that’s okay. Room was fair. Outdoor areas attached to room were dirty and the furnishings were very average. The interior could have done with a bit of work. Beds were comfortable.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Location , location, location. If you want beachfront accommodation hidden within a rainforest then this is the spot. Great for families. Kids loved the water slide while the second pool offered a quiet retreat for the adults. No need for a car here. We walked to the beach, bakery, convenience store, doctor, cafes, restaurants and art galleries all within easy walking distance. The white sandy beach is spacious and parachutes landed when we were there. The surrounding green leafy parks offered well equipped playgrounds where the kids kicked the footy and we cooked a sausage sizzle on one of several bbq's. We took our bicycles and enjoyed riding the well maintained boardwalks and tracks constructed up and down the coastline. Moffat beach is a safe north facing beach with a lagoon which the kids loved. One of the coasts best kept secrets. Keep this one to yourself!

- Verified traveler (6/5): - "Free WiFi" is a joke, it should be advertised for what it is. 200mb per day. Foxtel is a another laugh, it's accessible through the analogue channel so watching foxtel is like watching tv from the 80s. 2 rolls of toilet paper for a family of 6 for 4 days...... pictures that fall of the wall onto children's heads...... ceiling fans that have one speed.. slow..... at least the beds were comfy and the pool slide kept the kids entertained.
- Richard (10/5): - Good size, well kept, great amenities. Unit 25. Would have liked a few basics in the kitchen, but overall great. Site management was great.
