Je kan op de openbare parking staan op wandelafstand, ... de bagage uitladen rechtover het hotel. Er is een lift De inrichting is heel sober, (zonder decoratie) dat is ook mooi, maar ietsje praktischer zou zijn : bv. een haakje, iets om de handdoeken op te hangen. Enfin, eerder een detail

• Robert (10/5): A touch of luxury in Torre de Moncorvo - The house is modern, very attractively designed and laid out. Our room was light, spacious and very comfortable, with the added extra of the jacuzzi /hydromassage tub. The staff, including Inês the receptionist and the two ladies who prepared and served the excellent breakfast, were all very friendly and welcoming. Although the location was central, parking was easy and convenient. (Nothing to say here)

The property was beautiful and conveniently located. The whole staff treated us like family specially Agnes. She was amazing. She was so helpful and even booked our dinner reservations one night. She’s the reason that we had no hesitation booking additional nights
• Graham (8/5): A great, well appointed modern Hotel in a disappointing regional town. - Right in the center of the old town. Easy parking adjacent to the hotel. The welcoming and obliging staff. Breakfast was included. Probably a little overpriced compared to other hotels in regional Portugal, but acceptable. The check-in procedure, where the reception seemed to be randomly staffed.

The hostel was surprisingly big and modern, definitely exceeded my expectations (looked more like a proper hotel) and tge staff was the kindest! Everything was perfectly clean, the decoration was really nice and our room had a beautiful view - we looked right at the tower of Torre de Moncorvo! The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was very fancy - it did not have a separate door but only a glass as an isolation from the bedroom. Even the toiletteries were high quality! We could have used one more or a bigger trashbin but other than that, everything was perfect! And there was the amazing staff! The receptionist was a young lady who didn't speak perfect English but helped us in every single way! The breakfast was delicious, she prepared us a chocolate cake, with her own recipe! We had a rich and tasty breakfast and when we asked whether we can pack in one or two croissants, she brought us 2 little plastic bags (for the croissants), 2 little juices and one apple per person. Only to prepare us for the road! She and her colleague who was also the cleaning lady were unbelivabely helpful and kind! Nothing

I liked that we could use the kitchen, and the food and drinks therein, all day. Good breakfast. Businesslike. Comfortable. Spacious room. Superb central location in an attractive street and plaza. Some noise from outside, eg street-cleaning. Parking turned out fine for us, but could have involved a bit of a walk had the town been more busy.

• Bengt-Ove (10/5): Nybyggd pärla i gamla staden - Vi hade den lilla staden som utgångspunkt för en biltur längs Douro. Hotellet låg i den gamla delen av staden men är nybyggt sedan bara några år. Designat men väl integrerat i stadsbilden. Mottagandet var hjärtligt och rummet var frächt och bekvämt. På kvällen fick vi tips om en restaurant i närheten som blev den kulinariska höjdpunkten på tre veckors bilsemester.

However, the hotel wasn't fully booked, so they gave use a room, however, it wasn't the room I booked or paid for. We booked the hot tube room and just got a regular room. It was nice but not what I booked or paid for. Nice place and people were nice.
