Guest Reviews
- George (2/5): - This place is terrible. It’s the worst I’ve ever been to. I got bitten by bed bugs that were laying in worth of five minutes. The place was really dirty and made me itchy. The bed sheets were stained and ripped. Hornets nest in the stairway. You don’t even get your money’s worth. Don’t come here ever!
- Edward (10/5): - Check in staff was very friendly, located in a nice area, not a crowded area, fast food nearby, seemed secure. It is what it is, a budget motel.
- Nicholas (2/5): - Doors do not lock from the inside properly. Area is shady, some characters hanging around. Room was old, dirty. Many bugs dead in the bathroom, and got itchy after touching the bed/being in the room. Left after 20 minutes.
- Srijesh (2/5): - Bed bugs are Everywhere. 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
Too worstedddddddd.
Omg I hate this Motel 👹👹👹
- John Victor (10/5): - I would recommend this to my friends. Very cozy and close to everything ✨
- Ortrude (2/5): - Dirty, no breakfast, no hangers, no shelves in bathroom, fan did not work in bathroom. Microwave was dirty and fridge was needing to be defrosted. The door to the room was crooked and hard to open and close.
- Mateo (2/5): - They have bed bugs
- Robert (6/5): - Cheap and cheerful. No coffee in the room. Short walk to 7-eleven, McDs.
- Patricia (8/5): - Easy to find
- Heena (2/5): Bad odour - Bed smell comes from flooring carpet and bed
- David (4/5): - No cold water, no water in fridge, no bath towels, looked and felt bad neighborhood and unkempt. Should have gone with a chain.
- Edwin (8/5): - there us a lot of stores...nice places to dine ...its well situated
- Edwin (8/5): - Its was a quick registration...Door room needed to be checked ...but the overall was ok...its a fair price establishment
- Verified traveler (6/5): A Place to Lay Your Head Down - Would I recommend this motel to others? Depends on what they were needing it for. It did what it was supposed to do .. provided me with a place to sleep one night. Overall condition was fair. It definitely could use some updating. That being said, the sheets were clean and there were no sign of bed bugs, so if you're just looking for a place to lay your head down, it should meet that need.
- Edwin (8/5): - It was so close to everywhere...it was a decent Motel....
- Greg (8/5): - Bath room was completely renovated and clean.shower towels were on the small size but usable.
Was quiet and had plenty of parking.
- Roseanna (6/5): - This property was extremely outdated and dirty. The room was non smoking but smelt like smoke.
- bob (2/5): - This place was terrible I can’t believe you have it listed!!!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Disgusting. Don't waste your money.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - I reserved a room with a king sized bed but when i got there they tried giving me a room with 1 queen sized bed and not changed the price. They tried telling me i didnt order a king room, but my room price reflects that i did. They then gave us a room with 2 queen beds.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The room was very dirty. There were stains on everything. The shower had mold in the tile and on the curtain. And we woke up to a bug crawling on us in the middle of the night
- Verified traveler (4/5): Bug bites - Returned home after one night and immediately washed all clothes brought with us because I’m cover in over 20 bites and my spouse as well. I really hope we didn’t bring home fleas to our cats. I woke up in the middle of the night and felt itchy and ran to the bathroom to wash off my arm and the feeling went away. The sheets were stained and there was a pube in shower.
- Shaokang (2/5): - I found a dirty sock on the floor. This motel reminds me of some classical horror movie scenes: dingy, dark, dirty, and possibly some creepy alcoholic living next door.
- Gilberto (8/5): - The bed was comfortable but the pillows are to thin and flat for someone with a bad back or neck no microwave but it did have a fridge its ok for a day or two
- Gilbert (10/5): - It was quiet and the bed was comfortable but they need thicker pillows to flat
- Gary (2/5): - Not clean. After seeing the room I knew we could not stay. Dirty floors.
- Michael (10/5): Clean room - It was a great stay and the room was very clean
- Verified traveler (8/5): No-frills - No-frills room literally just to sleep for travel.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Okay - Everything was moderate. Well worth the price of the room.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I dont know. I wasnt able to get a room. They were fully booked up. Travelocity dropped the ball and booked a room that was not even available.....
- William (2/5): A bad review - Refrigerator sitting on floor, door wearing out the carpet
Two towels two washcloths no hand towels
Tiny little soap bar and hat didn’t last for one whole shower
Wi-fi didn’t work at all
- Verified traveler (8/5): Better Than First Impressions - The best thing about The Colonade was the room itself. It was quite spacious and clean. That contrasts with the rest of the building, which is older and is in need of a good cleaning. I would not be surprised if they lost customers who were turned off by the condition of the lobby. The room was much better than the lobby would lead one to believe. Its definitely a no-frills motel, but worth the price.
- Jessica (6/5): - You get what you pay for. Its a motel. I was fine with the amenities.
- Regina (6/5): Get what u pay for but didnt expect how dirty - The bed was comfy that is pribaly my only positive thing to say really. Wish there were more oh its cheap an close to six flags like 25 mins. Away from six flags. The place was reallydirty though even the shower still had hair in the tub i had my kids an i wouldnt even let them shower we were only there one night thank goodness
- Verified traveler (6/5): No bells and whistles but very affordable - Close to amenities. Staff very friendly and helpful
- Kyle (6/5): Really? - The WiFi was terrible, smallest room I’ve ever stayed in for that much money, I could barely understand the front desk workers who apparently live there, and there were cigarette burns all over the blankets
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very clean , not expensive, calm , perfect for have a good night.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The hotel was quiet and clean. You get what you pay for, nothing fancy but clean and slept great.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - room very dirty .I cleaned it , for a few hours every day my own self, very, very, dirty, smelled like old food , which was inside bottom dresser drawer . Dirt and dust every where . my feet got dirty waling on carpet .
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I reserved a non-smoker room and when I got there the attendant said I didn’t and when I took out my phone to show him that I had really actually reserved a non-smoker room he didn’t let me show him just said “ok I’ll give you a non smoking room” and when we went to our room it was still a smoker’s room.
- Daniel (2/5): - What a dump
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The hotel was like a stereotypical crap motel. The front desk guy was laying on a couch near check in when we got there and stayed on his cell phone the whole time he checked us in. The door barely opened because the knob was so messed up it didn't turn fully and you had to hurl yourself into it just to get it to open..., the fridge was full of mold, the walls were paper thin and the other guests were screaming through the night. You have an actual key to get into your room, curtains full of holes, the list goes on. We stayed to go with the cheapest option when going to six flags. Next time, we'll pay the extra money. The good thing was the location and nearby stuff
- Rick (4/5): Was inexpensive but not overly clean - Staff was adequate...wouldn't recommend for a family...but it served my purpose...A ROOM!
- Verified traveler (4/5): ice maker did not work but owner gave ice out - I stayed at the Red Roof on Rt 1, actually less for full queen clearly a much better room. I would recommend the Red Roof, it is only 8 miles west; pet friendly and has been modernized. Red Roof has a small but nice table to work plus queen is extremely comfortable. plenty of sink space and racks up high.
Wish they had Frig and microwave though. but they have working ice machine with Plenty of ice.
- Michael (4/5): Mediocre - I reserved a queen size non smoking room and I got a room that smelt like people have smoked in it. Not to mention there was an ashtray on the table. The room/bathroom weren't necessarily dirty, but you could tell that they don't take pride in the condition of their rooms. Plus there were things that were broken like the bathroom faucet. For the price I paid, I was definitely not impressed.
- Paula (2/5): It was in Princeton, cheap and I was exhausted. - This was like the "No-Tel Motel"! The soap was the smallest soap I ever saw. It smelled musty but opening the window let in the noise from the busy highway outside. Interesting that the clerk asked me to pay up front even though I was booked for 3 nights. I only stayed one night, guess that happens a lot.
- jason (2/5): P*SSED off customer - Got cheated out of the 2end room I had reserved. Paid more money for the 2end rooms I did get. tv didn't work in one room the first night. both rooms had very little hot water. Hand rail falling off in one room.
- Dakota (6/5): - Stayed for 2 nights with friends for six flags not that far away about 30 min drive. Local fastfood wallmart target rite aid. Hotel people didnt bother us at all hot water didnt work at times and seen a couple spiders and bugs. For a 2 night stay with some friends wasnt bad
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Spent the evening there with my wife in an attempt to get away from the kids for a while. Our room was small but very clean, newly renovated with a pleasant smell and a comfortable bed. It was pretty basic, but had everything you would expect and the people working at the motel were very nice.
- Verified traveler (4/5): This motel is sad - This motel needs some thought and care to make it more appealing to guests.
Receptionist that is interested in their guests.
This a low cost motel clean ok if desperate for a one night stop.
- Judy (2/5): STAY AWAY! - This hotel was absolutely disgusting. Found dead bug on the floor, lifted sheets and found a dirty mattress, moldy bathroom. We walked into the room and walked out...
- Scott (2/5): Bad hotel - It was very dirty and wasn't clean looks like sheets were bled all over and regular customers are creepy
- Mitch (10/5): Must stay - Wow. What a place!
