Water flowing from sink and tub had a strong odor and was a dark yellow color, despite numerous attempts and letting the water run for a long while each time in an attempt to clear out the pipes ... Quite the unpleasant experience to shower and wash our hair...

• 3booths (10/5): Excellence! - This spotless property has to be the flagship of Hampton Inns. It is in the downtown area of Vero Beach, only a couple of blocks from Indian River Boulevard (which quickly leads to the two bridges that access the ocean area of Vero). The property is so well maintained it seems brand new. The lobby was perfectly decorated for Christmas. The staff is extremely diligent and helpful. The breakfasts were fine. The pillows and beds induced restful sleep. There is a nice outdoor pool. We stayed four relaxing nights while visiting family in Vero. Well done!

• katiesV4008CH (2/5): Won't go back! - ​I stayed at the Hampton Inn last night primarily to get away from the loud construction noise next door to my house. I just wanted a quiet, good night's rest. ​(The Positive) Everything went smoothly during check-in, and I got to my room around 4:00 PM. Around 7:00 PM, I called the attendant at the front desk and asked for a couple of snacks, a soda, and a water from their lobby snack bar. I recently had a very complicated back surgery and can barely walk, so I offered to pay extra for the inconvenience of having someone bring them up. She politely agreed, promptly brought the items up (totaling $9.00), and I gave her $20.00, telling her to keep the change. She was incredibly sweet and appreciative. This level of service was the highlight of my stay. ​(The Issues) ​1. Misleading Signage: I noticed a sign on my floor clearly stating "Vending and Ice Machines" with an arrow pointing down the hall. Due to my surgical condition, walking is difficult, but I made the effort only to find an ice machine—there were no vending machines. ​2. Unacceptable Noise: The main reason for my one-star review is the noise and lack of consideration. ​Traffic Noise: The hotel's location, right off two main heavy-traffic roads, made it impossible to get away from the constant noise, even being on the second floor. I had to use an App on my phone for white noise. ​Housekeeping Disturbance: At approximately 7:45–8:00 AM, the housekeeping staff started cleaning rooms. Keep in mind the hotel was barely 1/4 full, and check-out time wasn't until 12:00 PM. I was immediately woken by their extreme loudness—it sounded like a football team! I was beyond furious because the entire reason for my stay was to get a long, restful sleep. I struggled to walk to my door, opened it to see the commotion, and found only two staff members directly across the hall. I simply looked at them and closed my door, but they immediately seemed to get louder, laughing and talking very loudly. ​I was planning on sleeping until check-out time. Instead, I wasted $225.00. I should have just spent the money elsewhere. Also, given the severity of my condition, I regret that I had to drive at all.

Great stay will definitely be back

• Antonios (6/5): DOGS LEFT UNATTENDED IN THIS HOTEL - Absolutely horrible that guests at this hotel can leave their dogs in a room unattended while the owner is gone for the day. Dogs barking at 6am 7am in a room without their owner. Inexcusable and Hilton should be ashamed that other guests are woken up in the early hours of the morning by barking dogs. I would never stay there again

• Irene (10/5): - The property is beautiful and we'll placed on the corner of the lot. My son and I felt comfortable walking to the stores across the street. The only down part was the pool. It needs cleaning. But the seating area was great. All the native Florida wildlife was wonderful to see.

What I found weird was the curtains dont close. They do not run on a track and are fixed to the ceiling making it impossible to block out early sunlight. Lucky for me I had my beach towel clamps and clamped them shut .No Netflix on TV, just cable and not HD was a bummer as well. Overall good stay!!

Hot breakfast was excellent and there was a variety food each day. The hotel pics the I took are as you see online. Very clean and nice hotel. I would definitely recommend and stay there again.

When discovered, all we wanted was for a maid to come and re-do the bedding. This took 4 requests made at all different times of the day. Each time we asked, we were told it would be done. This took them 8 hours, so WE ended up changing the sheets.

I would recommend highly to those who are lovers of people and animals. I saw some of the greatest looking Dogs while there. Such wonderful people. It doesn't get any better than this!
