- Ona-Maria (8/5): - The Looking Glass cabins are nice. They just don’t have a lot of storage space. The bathroom has a small shelf that blocks the sink so it’s hard to brush your teeth. It’s not the best choice for bringing a dog that requires a crate because there is just not enough room. I wasn’t a big fan of crawling in and out of the bed over my husband but the bed is really comfortable. Overall it was a good trip I will just look at the other options they have to stay. I will definitely go back.

- Karen (6/5): - My review of Ashville River Cabins sales process is bait and switch. Selling what the customer thinks is a 425 sq ft cabin and give them a 190 sq ft cabin. Just not a surprise you want a11pm after a long trip. The cabins themselves are beautiful& clean. Check-in was easy and the directions were good. The cabin was only one room that was 7 ft wide and 23 ft long. The dining and sitting area are outside. (We stayed during a major heat wave & storms) The bathroom sink is so small that just to brush your teeth, you hit your head on the shelf above. When I texted the Manager/Owner about the problem, she apologized for the wrong picture/cabin type but refused to fix the issue, even when I offered to pay more for a vacant cabin that was listed on their website. Please note we have stayed in tiny homes and cabins previously, so we knew exactly what we needed and that is what was pictured but not delivered. At this point, my funds were nonrefundable, the cabin that was way too small and the owner is offering no other options. Plus she refused the option I found. My husband spent the four days trying to work off whatever type of flat surface we could find. The owner offered to bring a table in but never showed up with one. We drug the round bistro table from the front porch for workspace. So my review is the cabins themselves are great, however, I feel the sale of the cabins is a bait and switch process. If you choose to buy from here, just be careful.

- Allison (10/5): Family Trip to Asheville - Had an amazing time at Asheville River Cabins. They literally thought of everything, from fresh ground coffee, extra towels fro the hot tub and even grilling utensils and extra wood for the fire pit. My only recommendation would be to have the cabin numbers more visible. We arrived late at night and was difficult to find our way. Once we found the cabin, we thoroughly enjoyed that all of the lights to our cabin were on inside, it felt very welcoming.

The only disappointment was that the vintage airstream smells of cigarettes, although I got accustomed to it once inside, with the help of an aromatherapy spray. The memory foam mattress was very comfortable, and the kitchen had nice dishes and cooking equipment. Enjoyed our French press coffee every morning.

However the accommodation had very limited space for a family of four. Beds were quite uncomfortable with bo space to store luggage. Accommodation did come a hot tub which was a great extra and good outdoor space with a porch area. However again itnonly had dining/seating for 2 people. Kitchen was generally good.

We were not told our unit number before we arrived and that was a bit hectic as we had to call the emergency number to know where our RV was we rented. The communication could be better check in. However, the interior of the vintage cabin was sub par - not very clean, the doors to bathroom and bedroom did not close all the way, the side door was off the hinges.. I was disappointed.

- Dennis (10/5): - This place is absolutely gorgeous ! It’s a hidden gem overlooking picturesque French Broad River. The cabins were so unique and lovely. Privacy fences allowed us our own space to rest at our personal porch, hot tub, and fine pit at night. Natural beauty here is abundant here with tall trees, lots of land, and fireflies lighting up the evening sky! This property’s aesthetic is even more intensified with skillful and creative landscaping. There is a TON to do in this area. You will literally walk out your door to go river tubing. We absolutely adore this place and will highly recommend it to everyone. Our highest compliments to the staff.

- Selena (10/5): - This place is great! You would never know you are only 10 minutes or so from a busy town. It’s the best hide-a-way spot right next to the river. We chose a cabin with hot tub and river view. The cabins are unique tiny homes with thoughtful details. Very clean and homey feeling. Gas fireplace, outdoor fire pit, hot tub (excellent), kitchen with some pots & pans, dishes, silverware, coffeemaker (including coffee/tea/sugar/cream), dishwasher, full size refrigerator, range and microwave. The queen size bed is on the more firm/harder side for my liking. There was also a loft with 2 twin size mattresses. (The steps to the loft are narrow and steep if you have issues climbing steps) There is a common area that has a sauna and large community fire pit where they offer gatherings for anyone glamping at ARC. They also offer a provisions “food truck” type of place where you can get drinks, snacks, firewood, etc. The establishment owners/management are so thoughtful, friendly and accommodating! You can text them about any issues or items you need (like more towels or trash pick up etc) Just wonderful! Very enjoyable, very beautiful and definitely a great option for staying a few days. (Especially if you like the idea of camping without having to do primitive camping haha)

- Alejandro (10/5): - We had a lovely stay in one of the Airstreams. Great location, and beautiful property grounds. It feels secluded even though you are still very close to town. And being in front of the river just makes the experience great! The Airstream was very efficient and confortable for a family of four (2 adults 2 kids - 7&12 years). Our Airstream had a bunk bed and separate queen bed, given enough space and confort for all. It is well equipped with everything you need for your stay (just bear in mind that pans and saucepans are on the small side if you are planning to cook). The staff was super friendly and helpful, going beyond our expectation to solve all our requests. They provide us with logs for the firepit and charcoal for the grill (including fatwood to light it!). They also have a small shop where you can get water, beers and other products. Overall, a great experience and definitely will return if back in Ashville.

- Stacey E (10/5): Great little cabins! - Our stay at Asheville River Cabins was exactly what we were lookin go for. We had a lovely little vintage style cabin with a view of the river. The cabin was cozy and comfortable, great for a weekend away.

- Brian (10/5): Fun and relaxing stay - The cabin was clean and comfortable, with a great view of the river. The hot tub needed cleaning when we arrived, and the staff took care of it in less than 30 minutes. Great place, great people. We'll definitely be back.

- Julie (10/5): What a gem! - Such a hidden gem! Close to everything in the Asheville area- hiking, shopping, the Biltmore, etc… Loved the extra space to relax and unwind as a family. Made use of the hot tub on several occasions. Property location seemed so secluded, but everything we needed was only a short drive away (Starbucks). Cabin was well equipped- they thought of everything! Will be coming back and recommending to all who visit Asheville.

The property is under construction as they add more cabins but we didn’t notice any noise during our stay. Jake was great with helping us with suggestions on where to go and what to see. We would definitely stay here again.

- Paul (10/5): Wonderful tiny cabin with scenic views - Wonderful tiny cabin with incredible views. Kids loved the loft and everyone enjoyed the outside hot tub and fire pit. Staff member Mitch was amazing and made banana boats for the kids!

- Kathleen (6/5): - Pretty setting near the river and fun concept with the pre-fab cabins but overpriced for what it entailed. Mud and lack of lighting behind the cabin near the hot tub made it a bit treacherous at night. The bedroom was extremely tight. The two beds in the loft would be unusable for most adults as the ceiling is very low.
- Mike (10/5): - Cabin was super cosy and management was very friendly and accommodating. Only thing is I wish the cabin’s had a bit more space in between them, or at least some walls in the back for a bit more privacy. For example, for the cabins with a hot tub due to the fact that the cabins are so close together, if someone else is in the back of their cabin you guys are not too far from eachother. So I wish the back had walls of some sort around them, just for a bit more privacy. But in terms of the stay it was great. The cabin was beautiful.
- Dr. Stephen (10/5): Great Place to Relax! - My wife and I booked this cabin for a quick weekend birthday celebration and it did not disappoint! From the check in to the first impressions to all the little touches that did not go unnoticed, this was an amazing experience and we will definitely be back.
- Dale (8/5): Adorablness on the river - What an awesome property and cute fuctional cabins. The view of the river is beatiful. You can have a little fire. Or fire up the fireplace inside. It might be gas. The only downside was the main mattress was pretty hard. Uber will come pick you up, its a.10-20 minute ride to downtown

- Adam (10/5): Great little cabins - We had a delightful stay at Asheville River Cabins! The serene surroundings and cozy atmosphere made for a perfect getaway. The cabins are well-appointed, but we did notice a small detail – it would have been even more comfortable with extra blankets for the couch. Nevertheless, the homely feel and picturesque location exceeded our expectations. We look forward to returning for another relaxing retreat!
