- EmFab (8/5): I'd Check It Out Again! - We were able to check in very early, which was fantastic! The room was spacious and very clean! The staff we encountered were so friendly and helpful. Loved the location, just a quick walk or quicker car ride to anywhere you'd want to go in the York Beach area! The bed. It was like sleeping on a water bed of air. Way too soft and every time the other person moved, you did too! My back and neck were smoked the next day! The hot water also takes quite a while to heat up.

- John (7/5): This place has some attractive features, the best being the closeness to Long Sands Beach. - The staff were friendly and helpful. At our request, the staff granted our request to switch to a more comfortable room the last day with a better bed. We appreciated this decision. The room was rather spartan. The air conditioner unit was high on the wall and difficult to reach. It seemed we had to make many adjustments to get the comfortable temperature. We were surprised that the deadbolt lock on the door didn't work. And the management shrugged it off and did not fix it. Most concerning was that the bed was too soft and did not provide the necessary support. I had inquired about this before arriving there and had been told the beds were fine. To the credit of the establishment, they let us change to a more comfortable room with a better mattress the last day of our stay. The advertised "closeness to the beach" was a bit deceptive. They made it seem like one could walk down to the beach on a path directly from the Lighthouse Inn and Suites. There was no such direct path to the beach, only public access by car.

If the staff wasn’t at the desk they were there within seconds of pressing the bell to assist. Can’t wait to be back next year for our yearly trip to York!

- William (4/5): Choose your room carefully! - There were stains on the sofa, rug and chairs. The bed was a residential spare bedroom type, not a commercial hotel bed. People were nice, but haven't offered an explanation or talk about a refund, so after service service isn't good either Broken blinds.

Had issues with the ceiling fan and the TV all weekend. TV would randomly turn off and ceiling fan had 1 speed. - very slow. Room not cleaned on Saturday - had to ask for clean towels. I was very disappointed and will probably not stay here again.

They then gave us a suite which was very nice and comfortable with lots of room. The bed in C7 needs to be replaced. When sitting on it I sunk down in in the middle.

Room was clean and in decent shape for the most part - carpet was quite stained. Pool area, and hot tub in good shape and clean. Pretty good value for the price.

I asked for the king room, wanted a view of the water. Tiny view out window. But the big issue were the 16 steps up and down with our luggage with no help whatsoever.

- Donna (5/5): I can’t attest to other rooms but the inn is on the shabby side and needs further renovation. - The location that was very close to downtown. The bathroom was gross and Unit #16 should never have been rented out. I’ve included pics of the conditions which almost made me throw up. The young man I complained to had the cleaning staff come in but it was really disgusting grout that had been used to make repairs. The shower head was loose and pulsated upwards with the shower on. It’s a location owned by an absentee owner that have multiple jobs, it seems. Staff was perfectly pleasant but there wasn’t much they could do.

The room we stayed in (25) was ground level and very noisy ; other guests socializing outside our window until 11pm, children yelling in the pool from early morning and no quiet hours since lobby was only open for limited hours. The room and furniture was dated and actually had 2 broken chairs that we asked they remove upon checkin. Multiple lightbulbs were missing and not replaced. Mattress was very thin/uncomfortable, although multiple pillows were provided. Towels were replaced daily in the lobby however, room cleaning service needed to be requested before 3 pm for the next day. Staff was cordial. Free coffee/tea was available in the lobby during daytime hours.

- Michaela (2/5): Smelled so moldy we had to sleep with the windows open. - The room smelled so moldy we had to sleep with the windows open. When I went to open the windows, I noticed that both windows were unlocked and the screen was partially out of one, which is very disconcerting when you’re staying in a first floor room. We tried to ask for another room when the person three doors down was smoking and it was blowing into the open windows, but nobody was at the desk at 9:15 PM at night.

- Bridget (10/5): - Excellent one night stay here. Walked to the beach, to the Lighthouse and even to the downtown area. Very reasonable walks. Very clean. Spacious room. Nice little deck too.

- Brent (8/5): Augest 10th - 13th revue - Location to both beaches was very close as well to restaurants. Room reminded me of the old-time rooms to rent at the beaches as I stayed in O c Maryland. Very cozy. Parking in the rear was very rough. Vegetation needed trimmed so you could utilize parking spaces. Bushes in front of the blue office building need trimmed so you are able to see pulling out of the driveway..
