Elisapeta (9/5): - A unique and special experience. The glamping tents are equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Every aspect of the accommodation and Koala sanctuary is beautifully taken care of and very clean. My daughter loved seeing the koalas and the sculptures through out the gardens.

Nikki-lee (10/5): Absolutely magical! - We absolutely loved our stay at port Stephens koala sanctuary. I had accidentally booked the wrong dates to marry up with our road trip and the staff were so helpful and exceptional at assisting us. The grounds were incredible, the koalas were gorgeous. The cafe was delicious and made my favourite iced latte perfectly! My son said “this place is magic” and that it was! We will definitely be back! The tour in the am was so factual the kids kept talking of about all the stories of the koalas. We felt so lucky to see the koalas so close and so active. This trip far exceeded all of our expectations. The heated spa next to the pool was fabulous too! The only tiny thing I can comment on was one of the kids beds springs were very squeaky. Not a huge drama, it was fine for me to sleep on! The glamping tents got a bit cold at night but the heater was fantastic. Our stay couldn’t have been better. We were so happy.

Valene (9/5): Koala-tastic! Great for kids! - Friendly staff, lots of activities to do, clean room and amazing environment! Would go again. Limited food choices (cafe food only) and you need to travel elsewhere for meals or bring your own, but a map was provided with locations of restaurants and cafes nearby.

Tom (10/5): Top tijd gehad! - Mooie grote kamers. Leuk verblijf gehad! Mooi koala park. veel informatie gekregen van de medewerkers. Zelfs na sluitingstijd nog leuke gesprekken met een medewerker gehad. Super fijn dat je gratis je was kan wassen. Daar waren wij erg blij mee! Ze hebben 2 wasmachines staan. Wat ze echt op hun site of op Booking moeten neerzetten is dat je ook gratis gebruik mag maken van de bbq. Je kan bij de receptie een box ophalen met alle benodigdheden. Denk hierbij aan olie, bbq tang, peper en zout ect. Wij zijn naar de Aldi geweest hebben hier lekker vlees gekocht en 2x gebruik gemaakt van de bbq. Echt super leuk!

We enjoyed a relaxing few hours by the pool and has a BBQ on the night. We only booked for 1 night and my partner was not a fan of glamping but even he wished we were staying longer.

Hong (9/5): A peaceful and family-friendly glamping experience - Fantastic glamping experience! The staff were very friendly, and the environment was peaceful and beautifully surrounded by nature. The kids absolutely loved the place, especially the secret trail leading to Samurai Beach. The pool was great—although it’s not heated, it wasn’t an issue during summer—and the heated spa next to it was a perfect bonus. The early morning koala tour was informative and enjoyable. It was definitely a truly memorable stay for our family. Not really, but if there is hot breakfast option that will be awesome.

I loved starting and ending my day by visiting the resident koalas. Don't expect to sleep in once the gates open as the guests walk right past the tents and can be noisy.

Loved the koalas and the kids had a great time visiting them - The sanctuary is beautiful and the staff were amazing all very friendly and willing to assist. Rooms were nice and cosy The rooms need daily house keeping services. Fresh towels, top ups on things like toilet paper, rubbish removal etc spent a bit of time everyday on our get away cleaning up the room, going to reception area to request fresh towels, taking out rubbish which was a bit with two children and also packing up used towels and taking them to the front area. For a holiday we want to take time out to relax

Joanne (9/5): Overall facilities were great. You are within minutes from beaches, cafes and shops. - We enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean , supplies for beverages were top notch. The staff were lovely and helpful. The pool had a box on the side so that the kids can borrow a kick board , ball and noodle floats. Towels are provided for the pool. The one thing that was annoying was that you park your vehicle 50 meters away and had to borrow a trolley to from load back and forward to the tent. This made it for me as I traveled alone with my young son and had previously injured my ankle.

Claire (10/5): Amazing place - On a 3 week trip from the uk, Absolutely loved our stay at the koala sanctuary, one of our favourite stops so far, the accommodation was immaculate, there were so many extra personal touches added too, we had a breakfast box in tent for every morning, with cereal bars, juice, fruit, breakfast cereal & a hamper when we arrived. We had a free tour of the koala sanctuary as a guest there, was amazing to see all the koalas, our guide was so lovely & informative. To wake up every morning in the forest with all the birds singing felt surreal. There a beautiful pool & hot tub there too, a wonderful tranquil place, was sad to leave, would highly recommend a stop over there. There was nothing to not like
cam (9/5): should have stayed at least six days - very quiet ideal to unwind .sitting on verandah and admiring the tree scape and listening to various bird sounds felt world away from hustle and bustle, the unit was exceptionally clean with good facilities. the only minor issue was the distance of the car park to the unit when carrying luggage for elderly persons next time i will request one closer to car park. overall all good we shall return
Vanessa (10/5): Koala-ity Accommodations - Such a unique and beautiful place to stay, surrounded by nature and the most adorable little koalas. We loved the 8am private tour, so interesting and informative. The 1 bedroom apartment was perfect for our family of 4 and the kids loved the pool and jacuzzi area. We also used the BBQ and games area. Every stay contributes towards the koala hospital, so it's a great way to support native wildlife. Can't recommend enough! There was everything for making a meal except a chopping board.
