We came in from Ontario to visit relatives in Sandy Lake.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely Victorian-style bed and breakfast. The home was full of character, with plenty of interesting and welcoming décor that made it feel both cozy and unique.
Breakfast each morning was a highlight — expertly prepared by a chef and absolutely delicious. The coffee was top-notch and the perfect way to start the day.
The location was ideal, with easy access to Riding Mountain National Park and a local farmers market on Saturday. We also had the unexpected treat of watching hummingbirds visit the garden — a lovely touch that added to the peaceful atmosphere.
The only minor issue we encountered was finding the property at night, as GPS reception in the area was spotty. A few solar lights or signs at the road entrance would be helpful for first-time guests.
Overall, a wonderful experience — highly recommended!
