Guest Reviews
- Akim (10/5): World class please ppl whenever you visit Grenada please book at RNM THE CLUBHOUSE you won’t regret it - I’ve been all around the world but the clubhouse was exceptional the owner was so accommodating value for money There wasn’t nothing not to like
- Bart (10/5): I'll never forget sitting on their veranda, enjoying the five acres of tropical rain forest. - One of the best place I've ever stayed. The host, Dr. Marcus Sinclair, showed us every consideration, from a warm and friendly greeeting to meeting our every need cheerfully.. The only I didn't like was having to leave.
- Erika (10/5): An unforgetable experience from the time I arrived to the time I had to leave. - The property, although the accessiblity is a little tough without a car. It’s definitely a workout up the hill. But Dr. Sinclair took care of me so well that it made the experience a whole lot memorable. The puppies were so sweet as well as chatting with Dr. Sinclair. Highly recommend if you want to experience Grenada outside of the resorts.

- Ricardo (10/5): Happy Days - The host is amazing, like a an old friend which hopefully he will be in the future. Suite is spacey, confortable, with everything we could need: fridge, microwave, AC, even Netflix! There is a common kitchen to use, just next door and just shared with another bedroom.
Amazing views, directly to the rain forest with the ocean at distance. Lovely balcony (not private) perfect to relax and read a book.
Lovely fun dogs who adore guests.
Bathroom is immense. Once could play a football match in it. Great shower, with pressure and truly hot water.
Very fast and stable wifi.
Small details: very comfy bed linen beautiful light from the bedside table lamp.
Overall, a happy place in our happy days on Grenada. That we couldn't stay for longer

- Esther (10/5): Lovely stay. Beautiful views. Marcus was a great host. The accommodations were perfect for our trip up to Northern Gr - It was tastefully decorated, had a comfortable bed, all of the amenities we needed and even a separate kitchen for cooking. Marcus, the host was amazing and very hospitable. He immediately followed up to ask if he could order a taxi for us and went as far as checking with multiple rental car agencies for us when he learned about our difficulties locating a vehicle from the local car rental agencies and also since we were driving up from St. George’s. He also provided helpful suggestions on local eateries and attractions. He’s such a pleasure to talk with. We loved the attention to detail he provided in decorating our unit with was the single suite. The drive up from St. George was very windy and narrow and took about 50 minutes.
- LARRY (10/5): Fantastic! - The place was what I expected. The host was much more. Dr. Sinclair went above and beyond in every aspect you could imagine. He picked me up at the airport, gave me a tour of the town, stayed in constant touch as to whether or not I needed anything. I can't state enough how good he was. Highly recommend.
- Elron (10/5): Excellent -
- Janet (8/5): - Very unique place, peaceful, and off the beaten track. Friendly staff.
- Nick (10/5): Fantastic Guesthouse with a Jungle Vibe - Fantastic off the beaten track guesthouse in a great location in Grenada. You're about an hour from St Georges and this part the island has a completely different vibe to the captial. The room was spacious, clean, and you felt you were right in the jungle. You could hear loads of wildlife and the veranda has a great sunset view. There is also a fully equipped kitchen. Couldn't have asked for more. You are a bit far from the closest town but I was able to walk it. I did have my own transport as well if I needed to get there quicker. There is a bus stop nearby and the minibuses are very frequent. If you want to get away from the resorts and cruise ships this is definitely the place to go!
- Musrat (10/5): -
- Judith (9/5): Wonderful stay at the Clubhouse - The whole ambiance was wonderful, sitting on the balcony watching the sunset and the owls and parrots and bats in the trees. Marcus the host is a wonderful man and so helpful, driving here there and everywhere. lovely kitchen facilities. The peace and quiet soothed us Without a car the location is not the easiest but we managed, got fit walking up hills all the time
- Allison (10/5): Home - Very quiet, clean, management kind accommodative, value for your money. Other than that, all is well, God blessing and grace. Continue on the journey of good and kind fair.
Customer service Quietness, greenery.. management was well organised capable.
- Jason (10/5): Comfortable island retreat with good ammenities - The style is very nice, I like the details and furniture.
It’s very clean and organised. There is an AC and good wifi. You have a patio to sit at and have a drink while enjoying the jungle scenery infront of you.
The kitchen has everything you need. Oh and the shower has actual water pressure! Unlike most showers I had on the islands.
The best part is the host, he is very kind and helpful, a very nice conversationalist and has good advice for things to do.
- Linda (10/5): Exceptional Hospitality & Comfort at RNM The Clubhouse - From the moment I arrived in Grenada, the staff at RNM The Clubhouse went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and safe. Traveling to a new country can be overwhelming, but they personally contacted taxi services, reassured my family of my safe arrival, and guided me every step of the way.
The room was fantastic—spotlessly clean, equipped with air conditioning, and offering a beautiful view of the surroundings. It had such a warm, home-like feel that I instantly felt at ease.
As a 21-year-old student beginning my medical studies at SGU, I experienced a panic attack upon arrival. The staff’s kindness, calm demeanor, and quick action helped me regain my composure. They provided all the information I needed and reassured me that I could reach out anytime for help or questions during my stay on the island.
I am deeply grateful for their exceptional hospitality. RNM The Clubhouse is not just a place to stay—it’s a caring and supportive environment that truly looks after its guests. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Grenada.
- Alethia (9/5): relaxing, serene environment - the location was quiet & serene, loved the view from the Balcony I had to walk up the hill, however you get used to it
- Kerry (9/5): Peaceful location, great host, good night's sleep - Extremely helpful host and lovely staff. I booked very last minute but everything went smoothly, including the airport shuttle I'd requested, They went the extra mile to show me shops and supermarket so I could get provisions and recommended a car hire company. I loved the peaceful location and treetop views from the area outside my room - a nice place to sit and have breakfast and enjoy the birdsong. A car was essential for me but the nearest shops are probably walkable for those who can handle uphill walks in hot weather. Great location with places to explore nearby with car/transport including Concord Falls. I loved the warm welcome from the dogs on site after a day exploring the island. The shared kitchen was equipped with fridge, kettle and hob/oven plus cooking utensils. Room was really clean and the bed was comfy so I slept really well. Air con and Netflix were a bonus. I extended my stay here 😊. Not really a negative, but my room had obviously had more of a kitchenette in it at some point as there was a coffee machine and microwave in it. But the fridge is in the shared kitchen in the room nextdoor so it was easier to make food/drink there. There was a steep set of steps to go down to my room so this may not suit someone with less mobility but perhaps there are other more accessible rooms on site.
- Jakub (10/5): Jungle Serenity and Royal Treatment - We absolutely loved our stay at The Clubhouse. The hospitality and care from Marcus were beyond anything we’ve ever experienced. We were treated like royalty and will never forget it. We truly hope to come back someday — we already miss Marcus, his friendly dogs, and the peaceful jungle surroundings.
- Hilary (10/5): Comfortable, relaxing with breathtaking views - The Deluxe room was clean and very comfortable, the bathroom beautifully arranged, and there is a walk in wardrobe. The shared kitchen is clean and equipped with all your cooking needs. The views around the property and from the verandah are breathtaking, exactly what you need when relaxing. The host Marcus was very friendly, and helped with every need. I enjoyed my comfortable and relaxing stay at the Clubhouse and I will recommend this
accommodation.
- Andrew (10/5): Fabulous place to stay and unwind - The Clubhouse is a truly exceptional place to stay and the owner Marcus is a truly exceptional and fabulous owner/host. Shortly after we booked online, Marcus was in touch via Whatsapp to introduce himself and offer initial advice; afterwards, we were in contact on a regular basis up until our arrival, with Marcus answering lots of questions and queries for us so it was all very reassuring as newbies to visiting Grenada. We were met at the airport by his shuttle driver (Deron), who was exceptionally smartly dressed, courteous and knowledgeable about the island during the approximate 45 minute transfer; if you are new to Grenada, our advice would be to take advantage of the shuttle certainly for the outward stretch since driving through St George and finding the Clubhouse, especially if it is dark, would be challenging (if you need/want to hire a car when in Grenada, Marcus can provide advice and contacts for the superb Two Seasons Car Rental who we would thoroughly recommend). The Clubhouse sits in its own plot of land a short (5 minute) drive from the coastal town of Gouyave up a steep hill. The gardens are lush and include banana and coconut palms and the views from the large south facing terrace are across tropical forest and out to the sea. When we returned to the Clubhouse each night having spent the day out exploring, we found it to be a real sanctuary and haven of peace and tranquility. Each night we were also met by Marcus's four lovely friendly dogs who can roams the grounds and having them there, we felt very safe and secure (and that's not to say we didn't find everyone we met in Grenada to be very friendly and helpful, often pointing us in the right direction when we got lost in the car!). Marcus provided lots of suggestions throughout our stay of places to visit and all were spot on. In summary, staying with Marcus at the Clubhouse was like staying with a cherished friend/relative and we recommend wholeheartedly. Absolutely nothing could have improved our stay at the Clubhouse. If you want peace and tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of St George and the immediately adjacent tourist beaches, this place is for you. We hired a car from Two Seasons rental which we would advise if you want to explore the island (and not have to rely on the local minibuses).
- Leanne (10/5): Lovely local accomodation in verdant surroundings - A comfortable, private place with lush surroundings. Great value. Appreciated the small touches such as a variety of available toiletries. Marcus and son, Alex were lovely hosts. This made the place special… warm greeting and very helpful. Three sweet and friendly dogs … a cosy place to stay at. Would highly recommend!
- Claudia (10/5): A settled and relaxing private stay, overlooking breathtaking yet priceless Rainforest views - I loved that my host Dr Sinclair was very attentive, friendly and extremely knowledgeable about this island. If you want stunning views and a peaceful little sanctuary , this is it. I quite enjoyed being out of town and I'd jog down the Mt Granby every other day for my morning exercise or in the direction of Gouvaye to sit on the beach and take in the Caribbean sea breeze to gently start my day.
The relaxed feel of this guesthouse helped me to settle in seamlessly, and I felt as if I was staying with old friends as opposed to people I had just met. Even the four dogs , two of whom are puppies, were extremely welcoming and friendly.
I really enjoyed my long conversations with the Dr about everything and anything. He is a great listener and a seasoned traveller who understands well what guests like and appreciate in terms of hospitality and comfort. Any request or comment I made was quickly acknowledged and acted upon for example I told the Dr that I was collecting a pin from each country I was visiting during my Summer vacation and he went out of his way to obtain a stunning Grenada 50th anniversary pin for me to add to my collection.
The size of the room was spot on for me, and I loved that it had a walk-in closet (something practically unheard of in the UK). The water pressure and temperature were ideal, and the shower cubicle was reasonably sized; in fact, a couple could cosily fit inside it to bathe. The piste de resisstance for me was the large bathroom mirror that spanned the length and bredth of one of the bathroom walls. The whole house, in fact, had several full-length mirrors that contributed to the light and airy feel of my room and the hallway area; these were also great for my several-times-a-day dress changes.
I was allocated 2 spacious shelves in the large American style fridge when I arrived, and cool filtered water was always available inside, which was pretty handy. My room was comfortable, the house was well kept and clean and I always had company when I wanted it from Dr Sinclair, the housekeepers or the cleaner however if I had to pick one thing to change it would have been my room fan. I wish it were as powerful as the amazing one available olfan available in the dining room. I was offered the option to upgrade and stay in an A/C room however I didn't want the fuss of moving room so occasionally borrowed the dining room fan for extra breeze.
- Heichen (1/5): Don't Stay - Nothing at all Owner called me 3 hours before we were to arrive, while we were already on our way from another hotel stay, to tell me he was having electrical issues and I have two options.
Play electrician once I get into the room or take another smaller room without AC.
He said my choice but he didn't seem to care one way or another.
Also, he shows a picture of the Caribbean Sea on his website. He is more than 2.6 miles from it, walking down a steep mountain.
The GPS has it at 58 minutes.
We declined the room.
I suggest you do the same
- Quashie (8/5): Very good -
- Nikia (8/5): I came to relax, and relax I did! RNM The Clubhouse is very chill. Would return! - I came on my first trip to Grenada and booked the Clubhouse because honestly the price was right, haha. The location is pretty tucked away, but I got a great feel for the island because of it! Mt. Granby is beautiful and the people are incredible. Would recommend if you’re looking for a hidden gem. My favorite part of the property though was the four amazing dogs. I gave them treats whenever I came back. They were amazing (the staff is too). The location is kinda far from town, which can be a good thing. I wish I had bought more food ahead of time to ensure I had basics like cereal and food to cook for the week. But this is also a testament to the wonderful people of Grenada—I was waiting outside to catch a taxi to Gouyave for the grocery store. An older couple asked if I knew where I was going. I told them it was my first time in Grenada, I’m from the US (huge mistake but they would’ve figured it out). They are the best people ever, because they invited me over for breakfast, lunch AND dinner everyday for the duration of my stay. I didn’t want to take advantage and offered them money, told them I didn’t want to be a pest. They weren’t having it! I would never do anything like that at home—but hey, Grenada’s my new home lol
- Petra (10/5): Great place. - The Clubhouse is located in Mt. Granby so it's a steep climb from Gouyave, but if you can manage it, well worth the effort (for instance, you can gather ripe mangoes by the side of the road along the way). Otherwise, there are several transport options available. The view from the spacious veranda is of a forest that starts immediately below and so the soundscape during both day and night is simply amazing. The staff are just wonderful. I was staying in a suite which was spacious and well equipped and the bed was comfy. The only thing I was missing really was a reading light by the bed.
- Matthew (10/5): Mr doctor Sinclair is such a brilliant host and all the staff was amazing and helpful. - Location was very nice, scenery was lovely. Everything was good,so had no complaints.
- Dynecia (10/5): Our stay was all we hoped for and more - The property is located in what I would consider the country side of the island so great mornings with birds singing and gorgeous sunsets and lust trees We loved everything about the property
- Malaver (9/5): Superb - The decor in the room was on point, the bed was so comfortable, my husband and i didn't want to get out of bed.
The staff was so friendly and accomdating, really professional.
The remote location made it so peaceful, which really made it a true get away from our hectic schedule. I recommend renting a vehicle and you would not regret it. I didn't like leaving the morning view and the sunset in the evening.
- Stuart (10/5): Grenada's lesser known gem - This place is awesome. Our host was incredibly hospitable and made us feel very welcome. We were generously given an upgrade, and our room was extremely comfortable and well equipped. Thank you so much. We are returning!!
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional - I have to rate this a "10" because of our host Marcus. He was such a beautiful person--kind, attentive, generous, and he made our stay really enjoyable. This apartment is a good choice for budget accommodation if you want to get out of the tourist area and get a better feel for how the locals live.
- Runako (10/5): Can’t recommend this place enough - incredible staff, view and environment - My stay at RNM Guesthouse was incredible from start to finish. The staff are amongst the biggest highlights - the Driver “Mr Lay” treated me like family and made me feel super safe throughout my time and Mr Sinclair’s entire team were great. The property’s surroundings are gorgeous - peaceful, serene, and in a really friendly community. I would recommend it to anyone!
- Rendon (10/5): Peaceful Space. Friendly hosts. - The staff were welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. Everything felt peaceful and the bed was so comfortable. The space was clean and well stocked with thoughtful touches.
We had our own rental car which made everything easier to get to, but they also offered a ride from the airport if needed.
I would stay there again!
- Devin (10/5): Excellent - Excellent A could have a pool and a club in the hotel to dance the night away
- Khaled (10/5): Exceptional -
- Damiel (10/5): Exceptional - I came to Grenada as a tourist, but on my day of departure, it felt like I was leaving my second home. Marcus, with the help of his colleagues Marvin and Ellon , and my taxi driver LeLe ,made my stay quite memorable. Though I was a solo traveler , I never felt alone or out of place. Whenever I'm outside enjoying the scenery or getting back from a day/evening outing , I'm always warmly greeted by the 3 lovely dogs at the property. The room was quite comfortable, and it provided everything I needed . No matter what room you're staying in , you'll be treated like a VIP guest .
- Marine (10/5): Fabulous - Marcus, is an incredible host. He makes sure you are confortable and helps you for anything you need. He did much more then I expected ; clean my clothes, gave me a lift to town to do some food shopping, and much much more
The room was very spacious, clean. Nice view of nature from the balcony.
A had a lovely stay.
- Tomas (10/5): Secluded beautiful setting up a hill - Very comfortable bed, lovely owner, very good contact through messaging. Had an excellent stay! 😀 There was nothing I didn’t like!
- Fanny (10/5): Amazing - I have absolutely no regrets about choosing ClubHouse for my stay in Grenada.
Everything was perfect: the apartment is very clean and well equipped, with a magnificent terrace offering breathtaking sunsets.
The view over the garden is magnificent - it's like being in paradise.
But best of all are the owners: Marcus and Olive are just as wonderful hosts as their home. They hosted my stay and I really enjoyed the time I spent with them. I wish I could see them again, and come back Nothing…. everything was perfect !
- David (10/5): Comfortable and Quiet Setting - Mr. Sinclair went out of his way to ensure that I would enjoy my stay.
- Tene (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect Location, Perfect Accommodation. I enjoyed my great conversations with the GM during my stay. N/A
- Graham (7/5): Good - The host was exceptional. His application to giving the best customer service possible was exemplary. Hot water to the shower was not hot enough if there were other guests at the property.
- Katriona (10/5): Exceptional - Kind, attentive host. The room was extremely comfortable with some nice extra touches. We enjoyed having access to a small kitchen. Nothing - this is a great place to stay
- Maryann (10/5): A Bit of Paradise on the Mountain - Beautiful area in the hills. The awesome host, Marcus, went above and beyond the usual. He drove me up and down the hill to catch the bus, and if he was going into St. George he’d take me. Snacks and fresh fruit were provided upon arrival. The large kitchen and fridge were available for use. There is a water cooler with fresh water always available. There are 3 friendly, loving dogs that stay outside but give you love. The staff is also amazing. Loved my stay there. I almost began feeling like a local. Amazing place to stay! I liked everything about being there. Be aware you if you are physically challenged you may have to walk up a 1.9 mile hill, That wasn’t fun though it helps if you have fitness goals. Sometimes a bus can be caught to take you about 2/3rds of the way up. On Sunday there are no buses so it is difficult to go anywhere from there. All those issues would be solved if you rent a car.
- Valrie (10/5): The well Appointed Clubhouse Grenada
F - I liked Marcus' every effort made from the time I booked until I checked out and after to make sure that I was comfortable...the most hospitable host that I have ever met! The Clubhouse was clean, exceptionally quiet and had all the necessary amenities plus some. Nothing to write home about
- Folefac (10/5): Excellent - The Manger Mr Marcus is very helpful and resourceful.
- Headley-maurice (10/5): We needed a quiet, restful and enjoyable vacation and this we got and more - Exceptional Host he went above and beyond
Our needs were meet without question
he asked if there was anything that could make our stay more memorable
he personally showed us the area and pointed out to us the location of shops and supermarkets
We gained a friend like family my stay could have been longer
- Kensi (10/5): MARCUS WAS THE HIGHLIGHT & I FEEL HONOURED TO HAVE MET SUCH A GENUINE,HOSPITABLE,LOVELY,KIND HOST - From the moment i booked to the drop off at the airport i can safely say this was one of the best overall places on this planet that i have ever stayed at.
The complimentary shuttle to and from the airport with your 7 night plus stay was a blessing and i really enjoyed the company of the taxi driver "Mr.Lay" who picked me up and who was also availed of for other trips during my stay which was also a blessing-thank you Mr.Lay!
The location was fairly remote but not remote enough for access to the many local shops for groceries, but remote enough to be away from the "rat race" which was what i was after.
I was heartily greeted by Marcus, the proprietor and his 3 very friendly well mannered dogs,i was immediately struck by the properties surroundings from the large balcony,so green and lush and fresh.
The room itself was large airy spacious and clean, with great air con, working fridge and microwave and a fab wifi connection.
The shower room was large and the shower was hot and pumping and there were plenty of fluffy white towels of all sizes, and then there were the little practical trinkets and bathroom accesseries...shower gel, conditioner and shampoo, moisturiser, toothpaste kit, shaving kit, sewing kit, cotton wool and buds,i thought i was in a top class japanese hotel with all those little extras which got well used and came in well handy!
After listening to nightly sound track of the crickets with the simultaneous coinciding firefly light show you will sink into the most comfortable bed ever with equelly comfortable pillows which smelt of the best clean linen smell which was as good as any camomile tea to send you to dreamland.
meals can be prepared in the well equipped kitchen only feet away from your room, everything in there was clean and in full working order with plenty of crockery and cutlery.
gas cooker, microwave, sandwich toaster, kettle,& a washing machine which came in well handy.
housekeeping was excellant & the staff were so friendly. nothing
- Mcintosh (9/5): Superb -
- David (10/5): One of the Best Stays Ever! - In 40 years of travel to more than 140 countries, this is one of the best places we have ever stayed! Marcus could not have been a more gracious, hospitable, and welcoming host. We were treated like royalty and everything about the accommodations worked and was clean and comfortable. The sunset over the jungle from the veranda were spectacular! Top marks all around!! In spite of Marcus' efforts to correct this, the location of the RNM Clubhouse on both Google maps and maps.me is incorrect. The actual location is about .5 km further up the road than indicated.
- Roberts (7/5): Good -
- Dtecta (9/5): Location, cleanliness -
- Verified traveler (4/5): Remote location - Very remote location in an old colonial home on a former plantation. Owner lives on site, amongst other male friends. Need car to reach. No signage.
Moldy room and no screened windows.
A collection of toiletries from other hotels: tacky
