- Claire (6/5): Average facilities - Close to business park for work Shower didn’t drain very well and felt a bit small for the price
- Amy (10/5): Great stay - Great place to stay. Lovely staff, clean rooms with easy access to the train station.
- Tom (10/5): - Very pleasant surprise, was just looking for a place for my meeting and found a lovely hotel, great room, comfortable bed which is so important and I have to say a real treat for a cooked breakfast, highly recommend - good price too. Nothing nice place
- Amy (10/5): -
- hasan (5/5): orta - odalar aşırı büyük idi ve rahat idi konuma göre çok yüksek fiyat..resepsiyon yok sadece ilgili personel tel numarası var..otele verdiğımızda bizi karşılayacak hiç kimse yok idi ..anahtarlar şifreli kutuda idi..telefondan şifreleri alıp odamıza çıkabildik

- Jennifer (8/5): Comfortable and convenient - We only had continental breakfast but there was a good choice of cereal, yoghurt and fruit. The room is comfortable and convenient for visiting our daughter. The water in the shower went cold in the middle of having a shower and didn't become hot again for a couple of minutes. I did report this to the lady serving in the cafe.
- Vivienne (10/5): Enjoyable Good Host - Good breakfast
Plenty of variety.
- Anita (8/5): - Room clean and comfortable. Good breakfast and good service overall. Nothing. all good.
- Simona (9/5): -
- Leon (3/5): Great location & great staff; choose the right room though - Room 1 - avoid
The room was poorly designed and the bed / mattress needs to be changed.
The shower pressure is very low.
The shower has been installed poorly design wise.
The shower box and shower cord and shower head get stuck on the shower door handle when you try to use the shower.
The room also has a fridge that is too small and unlike the other rooms that I have shared in the same hotel previously there is no cutlery or similar.
The rooms tv is also far too small.
The other rooms I have stayed in previously and the staff have been much better and I would recommend to all.
Room 1 is the exception.

- Raymond (7/5): Convenient and decent for a short stay - Very clean and tidy property and room. Nice breakfast. Was a super cold day and it would have been appreciated if they'd turned the heating on in the room before my rather late arrival!!
- Wendy (9/5): A brilliant stay - It’s ideally located for visiting family and friends. There was t anything to dislike but one morning when the person that runs breakfast was ill, there was no breakfast served so even though I was fine with this I feel a little aggrieved that I’d paid for breakfast but then had to go and buy breakfast. I kind Illnesses can’t be helped but maybe a contingency plan could be thought about
- Phil (10/5): - Always excellent
- Peter (10/5): - As much as it was a nice thing, I didn't require my bed being made towels folded ect. The self contained kitchen was a great plus for me, very pleased.
Some elements of the room were looking a bit tied bathroom floor for example, not a issue for me personally though. Generally I was very pleased with the room and I would definitely stay again.
- john (10/5): - Excellent
- Anthony (10/5): - Great location for train into Oxford, no hassle!
- Phil (10/5): - Another excellent stay.
- Amanda (10/5): Great location - Great place will be going back
- D (10/5): Wonderful - Superb stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent room facilities. Very comfortable with some nice touches.
- Dennis (10/5): - The property had a kitchenette but we were only there one night so did not use it.
Nice size room, very helpful staff.
Very good breakfast, cooked to order.
- Magnus (10/5): Clean, quiet and stylish - It is always amazing here, clean, quiet and rooms are stylish.
- Michael (10/5): Weekend break - Stayed to spend the weekend at Blenheim Palace, great location and a nice walk straight across from the building.
Amazing and friendly staff, breakfast was amazing.
- Magnus (10/5): Fabulous! - Always amazing and the rooms and staff are fabulous! Would highly recomment
- Anthony (10/5): - Great arrangement here, nice clean rooms with facilities! Easy train ride into Oxford! Avoid the Oxford traffic madness!
- David (10/5): - Exceptionally good value. Quite spacious, included kitchen facilities and comfortable bed. About 25 minute drive to the centre of Oxford.
- Phil (10/5): - Another excellent stay
- Anouck (8/5): - The room was very nice and cosy and offering a large space to be at ease.
- Anthony (10/5): - Stated here a few times now, really handy for one stop (9 minute) train journey into Oxford! Nice rooms and breakfast!!!
- Phil (8/5): - Always excellent
- Phil (10/5): - Easy access and lovely room
- Emma (8/5): - Enjoyed our stay. Heating in the room not working but we had a plug in heater
- Jonathan (4/5): - Property looked well presented, but we stayed in Room 12 which was a self contained flat. The bathroom had consistent stale smoke/cooking fat/ burning toast smell as it seems that it may have shared an extraction fan with the kitchen.
In the morning this became more pleasant when actual cooking was occurring. In addition the smoking area was right outside the door, which led to cigarette smoke penetrating the room - upon later inspection an air brick for the room was next to where an ashtray bucket had been placed.
A shame really as the night promised much, and the staff were really friendly.
- Joanne (10/5): - Lovely room and super comfy bed. Friendly staff. Lovely area. We would definitely stay again.
- Mark (6/5): Churchill court - Needs better pillows
- Sena (8/5): - The staff were very pleasant and helpful
- KEITH (10/5): - Breakfast was excellent, but marmalade was terrible.
- Matthew (10/5): Lovely stay - Very nice and right next to Blenheim palace
- Phil (8/5): - Lovely place. Easy and convenient
- Fiona (8/5): - Clean, tidy, comfortable. Everything I needed for a work trip.
- Linda (8/5): - Overnight stay. Easy convenient access.
- JAMES (10/5): - Great welcome and wonderful service from the very helpful host on check in.
- Jeffrey (10/5): - Good value for the money
- Magnus (10/5): Working at Kidlington (London Oxford) Airport - Absolutely amazing service, so friendly and I always look forward to staying
- Andrew (10/5): Great stay - Large room. Really comfortable.
- Anthony (10/5): - Great location, easy parking, lovely rooms
- Claire (4/5): - The room was very tired and the shower was very poor
- Sheena (10/5): - Nice small, clean, cosy hotel, characterful but modern, ideal for visiting Blenheim Palace area. Parking off road at front. Room spotless, has everything you want. Delightful cafe style eaterie avail for choice of breakfast and light snack lunches 8am - 5pm only. Staff very helpful and friendly. Altogether a great place to stay.
- Anthony (10/5): - Lovely clean rooms, a very short walk to Hanborough Train Station for train to Oxford, only one stop!
- Peter (10/5): - Nice, clean room and very helpful staff
- Matthew (8/5): - Overall the experience was good, we only stayed for the one night, so we didn’t fully utilise the apartment. Two wine glasses would have been advantageous and the coffee shop if opened on a Sunday we would have used. Otherwise a very comfortable nights sleep.
- Alex (10/5): Great value stay on the edge of the Cotswolds - Great value stay with a superb quality nicely furnished room for the money. Friendly and helpful staff - would stay again!
- Phil (8/5): - Rew was large and spacious with a sink, fridge et cetera, but no soap or shampoo in the shower and some loud noises are heard at 7 am
- ELIZABETH (8/5): Good location for Blenheim - Pleasant stay nice comfortable room executive suite, good location very close to Blenheim Palace and 20 min to Oxford city. Situated next to industrial estate off a main road. Train station 5 min walk away takes you to Oxford in 10 mins. If you stay Tuesday night then you get woken up at 6 am by the industrial bin lorry making a right din. Breakfast fair with a good selection off the menu. Would stay again for the location.
- Elizabeth (10/5): Super place for a short break in West Oxon - An ideal place for a short break. The breakfast room/cafe was lovely and food freshly prepared with great choice. It’s also ideally placed for the railway station and Bladon/Bleinhem/Woodstock. The kitchenette was a bonus.
- Pamela (10/5): - Very comfortable & spacious room ( no. 5). Super breakfast, quiet & relaxing stay. Also friendly staff, would highly recommend
- Laura (8/5): Cosy and comfortable - Fabulous location, a few mins walk from the train station. It's a traditional modern hotel, my room was cosy, comfortable and clean. I enjoyed my 2 nights stay here, it's about 20 min walk to the nearest shop, and not to far from Blenheim palace, which was the main reason for my stay.
The little cafe style area is available for breakfast which was lovely and served with a smile, looked like you could buy lunch, drinks and cakes lunchtime but I didn't use this part. But this area shuts so during late afternoon, early evening there is no communal area to use. There is a small outside area to the side of the building, sun trap during later afternoon which I used, but with no other customers and no where to buy a drink from. Seemed a shame to not optimise this, but I guess it's a staffing issue. I would use this hotel again if I was in the area.
- Denis (10/5): - Spacious room with comfortable bed
- Anthony (10/5): - Parking, helpful service, lovely room!
- Alan (10/5): - Very friendly staff,everything was excellent
- Peter (10/5): Conveniently situated for Blenheim Palace - The stay didn't start quite as well as expected. The promised email from Hotels.com with the check in details didn't arrive and the one they sent saying this has all the information you need was untrue as this didn't have it either. Fortunately when I phoned the number supplied the issue was quickly resolved.
I had unexpectedly received a room upgrade due to a cancellation which was appreciated.
The room was comfortable with a good sized ensuite.
There was a good selection for breakfast with a choice of cooked offerings at different prices. All however were excellent value.
- Richard (10/5): - Lovely stay thank you. Great location for silverstone just 45 min drive.
- Anthony (10/5): Comfortable stay - Great, friendly place to stay. Comfortable rooms and quiet
- Nigel (6/5): - Great room, great breakfast and great location. All together really pleased. However! There was sign in the bathroom about the drains being sensitive and avoid disposal of unwanted items in the toilet. There was no notice about the horrible smell and the obvious attempt to use cleaning g fluids to mask it. That also resulted in a very sticky bathroom floor. Such a shame.
- Alan (8/5): Weekend stay at The Churchill Court - My wife and I stayed 2 nights while visiting family in the area. We had a very spacious, well equipped room with ample space. There was a walk in shower but the water flow was not a powerful as we would of liked. Breakfast was provided in the attached café. The full English Breakfast was of adequate standard. The staff were very friendly and helpful. For a short stay where we were out for most of the day the facilities in the room were not fully used and consequently, in our case, it was expensive.
- david (8/5): - .
- Margaret (10/5): First class stay - Very friendly and helpful staff. Very enjoyable stay. Excellent breakfast.
Very clean and tidy
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Excellent staff, hotel was very clean & an extremely comfy bed. good location but you need a car as the nearest pub is quite a walk away. Train station is only a 5 min walk & a 10 min trip into Oxford.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Friendly staff with a welcoming smile. Hotel well organised with a very good breakfast.
- S (10/5): Would highly recommend - Excellent throughout great room, comfortable, lovely breakfast. Only negative for us was no choice of a bath but the shower we had was excellent as well
- Tony (10/5): - Lovely hotel with great rooms in a very good location
Staff were excellent and the cafe was top notch
- CharlesB (10/5): - Comfortable. clean, spacious hotel, full anti-virus compliance; easy parking, train to Oxford (or London) very close, easy access to Woodstock and Blenheim Palace. Friendly helpful staff; tasty breakfast- even a 'fridge in my room! A very reasonable price for all the facilities.
- Emma (10/5): - I genuinely cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The room incredibly comfortable and clean.
- John (6/5): Churchill hotel - Just about ok, room small no where to sit in room so sat in bed not ideal, English breakfast very basic and small, no one there on arrival and had to wait for lady to come back only 5-10 minutes.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Friendly and helpful staff. Location was perfect for me - 5 min walk from the train station. Room was a good size with a comfortable bed and clean bathroom. The internet speed is slow, but that's not the fault of the property (no high speed internet available in the area).
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great location. Very convenient access to Oxford, but away from the tourist crowds.
- Christopher (6/5): Nice but needs work - Great location and a nice place but needs a bit of Maintance in the room. The bathroom sink wouldn’t drain, the bathroom mirror on the door was cracked in 4 places, the ceiling tiles all warped out of shape and the shower screen was very hard to open and close. A shame as could be potentially very good.
Also no milk left for the tea and coffee but after I called they brought some straight down.
- david (10/5): Lovely hotel - Hotel is lovely, the room was lovely the only downside was it was too hot, we tried to turn the air conditioning up but it didn’t seem to have any effect. I would definitely stay again as the facilities in the room eg fridge, cooker and microwave are excellent.
- Dianne (8/5): Lovely hotel and outstanding staff - I needed a hotel room urgently and settled for Churchill Court thinking it’s located in Woodstock. I stayed on when I realised my mistake because it’s located near a train station and mostly because my room was clean and the manager Yan and the hotel staff Becca and Nicky were all really wonderful. Thank you all for the tremendous help which I couldn’t have done without.
It’s a lovely hotel I’d return to if I’m back in Oxford even though it’s not in the city center.
The only suggestion I have is it would make all the difference if the cafe area remains open and accessible outside of operation hours just for guests to have a comfortable cosy area to go to . It doesn’t have to be manned and with the type of guests you have, I think it would be immensely appreciated and not abused. The food area can easily be locked.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Superb room and facilities especially if visiting Blenheim palace
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Close to a few pubs / restaurants and Blenheim Palace. We enjoyed having our own kitchenette. Spacious room with air conditioning. Staff very helpful.
- Verified traveler (10/5): A.R. - Very nice and quiet hotel, excellent staff.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Room comfortable, staff welcoming, however disappointing that there was no general lounge area and no bar. Dining room/ cafe only open until 2pm
- Julie (10/5): Quiet, nice, friendly hotel - The hotel was lovely, staff really friendly and welcoming. Newly refurbished room was splendid! Nice and quiet location.
- Caro (10/5): - Lovely little hotel. We had a family room which was a good size. Room decorated nicely and staff very pleasant and helpful. Struggled to work out the heating would be my only very small point.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel but out the way - Hotel was lovely. No front desk which was odd. Breakfast was tasty and made on demand but was a little confusing as it wasn’t clear without talking to someone what was included in breakfast which had been pre-paid for. Friendly staff.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice hotel in very convenient location, 10 minutes from Oxford Town centre via Hanborough station
- Verified traveler (8/5): Lovely hotel - An exceptionally clean hotel. Check in was easy with helpful staff. Our bed was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean with a good shower and free toiletries.
- N (8/5): Comfortable Hotel- not far from Blenheim Palace - Stayed here due to attending an event at Blenheim Palace. The hotel was well equipped and comfortable and only a 15/20 minute walk to a set of the Palace gates. The walk going was fine however going back was a bit more difficult due to the dark and there being no road lighting- however no fault of the hotel- when we saw their fairy lights it was a relief! In all a reasonable priced hotel that was of a good standard.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good hotel, but no breakfast for early risers - Good hotel for our regatta at Blenheim. We arrived after 6 and only a night porter was available to check us in, the bar etc was all closed. Not so good was that we were then told our prepaid breakfast was not open until 7:30am and we had to leave before that time. In the end we received a croissant, banana and tea to take out but that was definitely not the breakfast we had hoped and paid for. We couldn’t cook breakfast either in our room’s kitchen area as when we checked in we found the oven and hob are only available for use by guests who stay one week minimum?! The bathroom shower needs attention and there was a lot of dust etc on the skirting board tops. The room was very clean and so was the rest of the hotel. The sofa bed had already been made for us which was very good. The staff were very helpful and very kind.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent hotel and breakfast great too - can't fault it
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good service - I was having fun in Oxford and didn’t realize it was late until the staff sending me an email about how to get a key for my room. My whole family then drove to the hotel in a rush, being afraid of not knowing how to do if it was dark. (Even though the email included all the details about how to get the key.) By the time we arrived, it was close to 8pm. All we saw was a very friendly staff waiting us at the front door. She saw us parking our car while she was cooking in her own apartment, then came out to open the door. It saved us a lot of time to figure out.
- Acioly (8/5): - That's a good hotel, but it is located to far from center of city and access by public transportation is not good.
