• Verified traveler (10/5): Pleasant and convenient - Cean and accommodating. Nice and professional administration. I had a very pleasant stay. Great location and great space.
• Sad (2/5): - There literally was so many dust bunnies under the bed that it was unbelievable. We thought we would have towels and did not so you we called property manager who told us he would have to buy face clothes the next day. When we opened our door, there was a blanket in a bag and some badly stained facecloths. The place was a pit.

• JD (2/5): Do not stay - To many bad things to list. Normally I do not take the tine to review, but this place was very dissapointing. Stay away from it. Owners need to take care of the place and at least put clean sheets, towels, soap, etc.

• Anne (8/5): - Great location, great price, loved the little courtyard, swimming pool was always spotless. The manager/owner, Nelson, was very attentive, we had WiFi issues which he fixed right away. I would have loved to have given this apartment a 5 star but when we arrived, it didn’t look like the place had been vacuumed and there was so much old dust and hair everywhere especially in the bathroom, in all the corners, behind the doors and it the big hall closet. We will, however come back to the same place when we go back to Lauderdale.
• Miami (4/5): - The good things are that the apartment is big enough for 4 persons, close to restaurants and the pool is heated at night. But, as other reviews mentioned, the bed linens and towers are super dirty with stains of blood and feces. The kitchen utensils were dirty as well. It has no hair dryer and No house keeping at all. Very disappointed.
• Clarence (4/5): Disappointed! - We arrived around 6pm to discover there is no office to register our stay. After dialing the number listed on the Hotels.com website several times and not receiving an answer we asked a few guests around the pool if they could assist. They informed us there is a number pinned to a bulletin board with the managers number. Once we discovered that about 20 mins later we were instructed on how to check in with a door code. The manager never came to meet us or collect payment, our card on file with hotel.com was charged the day of checkout. The apartment was sparsely furnished and decorated. There was a mismatch of dishes, glassware so we made do with what was available. Since we were traveling, we expected at least shampoo, soap etc. Nothing! Future travelers, beware, there are additional costs to have your room cleaned, $40 per occurrence! Bottom line, I feel a lot of details were not listed in the Hotels.com website. As a new residence to Lauderdale by the Sea I will be hard pressed to suggest this property to my traveling friends.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Find someplace else, unprofessional property - I arrived for check in around 6:30 pm on a Wednesday evening only to find no employees around. The confirmation notes that check in is available 24 hours, however there the motel does not have an office, nor is there easily visible info about who to call. I called the Google number associated with the property a few times only to get voicemail. After 20 minutes a guest pointed me to a printer paper thumbtacked to a bulletin board to call Nelson for check in. Nelson did not pick up. Texted Nelson, and received a reply asking the name of my reservation. I replied, and asked him to call as texting to check in to a motel is annoying and unprofessional. I never received a reply and had to find other accommodation while my 5 month old daughter and wife sat in the car. Spend your money at a place that deserves it, not with owners who don't show the common decency to: have an office/keep an employee on site/answer a phone/ reply to a text/ uphold a reservation.

• Bryan (10/5): So glad to find! - This place was great. Very roomy apartment type with full kitchen, living room, flat screen TV, good sized bedroom with king bed. Two blocks or so from the pier and even closer to the water.....quite a few things in the area. We love Lauderdale by the Sea & go a few times a year. Definitely going to remember this place! Nice pool too & extra beach chairs & even a cooler we found in the closet. Highly recommend. Great price!! :)

• Scott (8/5): Cozy - The gentleman that greeted us, Nelson, was about the nicest person I’ve encountered in the hotel business. The room was clean and served its purpose. The comforter had some stains on it, but that wasn’t discovered until a few days later when the sheets wrapped around it came undone. I was considering asking for a new comforter, but it wasn’t a big deal. The location was perfect for the wedding we had to attend. I would guess it is a lot better during the summers due to its proximity to the water. I look for the least expensive place in an ideal location, and although I thought the price was a bit high, it was one of the better deals the day I searched online. It’s a room, and it’s in a safe location. You can’t ask for more, but I was happy the room was as cozy as it was.
• Ranae (10/5): Great Place - The mini apartment was wonderful with extra stuff I didn’t even think of like the beach chairs and towels. I would definitely stay there again. It’s a short walk to the beach and restaurants. The only thing we didn’t have was washcloths but we made do.
• john (10/5): Hidden Gem - Most of the reviews on this place were spot on. Very comfortable apartment and clean. Walking distance to the restaraunts and beach. Great safe location. Manager is not always on premesis but replies to all your needs. I will definitely stay here again.
• Craig (10/5): Best deal available, great for a family! - I was VERY pleased with my stay here. While it was not the type of hotel with maid service or a front desk, it was a great value and had everything we needed. It was a 5 minute walk to town and beautiful beach! Nelson, the property manager was there if we needed anything more than we had, but never really lacked ANYTHING. Looking forward to another stay next visit.

• Deborah (10/5): Girls Getaway - Was first time I didn't check in at a desk but it worked just as well with a phone call. Very clean. Great setup. Walgreens was just a block away to get the normal snacks and drinks ( ice cream too) to put in kitchen for watching TV time. Close to restaurants,shops, and ocean. Felt safe walking around area days and evenings. Also, being right off A1A, driving to several sight seeing areas made it easy to find our way to and from the motel. Would definitely recommend it.

The manager, Nelson was very responsive to our needs without being at all intrusive. I would definitely recommend this place! Also great that it included a free parking spot. It felt private enough.
• Tracey (4/5): Close to beach but overall disappointed. - Motel like set up! Very close to the beach but old and not up to my standards. The unit I was in was renovated but quality of work was poor. Manger was very friendly and was on site during the days but lived 2 hours away so if you needed anything you generally waited for the following day to receiver help or supplies.Many amenities are within walking distance but some of the nearby motel/hotels were very ran down therefore clientele was questionable! My husband and I did walk the area at night however we were very cautious.I personally would not stay again.
• Dillon (10/5): Great place. Will come back if in area - This place was about as perfect of a stay as you would hope for. Wifi works, place is clean, well updated and good vibe in rooms. Two things I wasn't thrilled about was that two guys came in the room and fixed some lighting fixtures while I was out and I got back while they were working. The owner did warn me of this, but I wished he asked me if I mind rather than telling me it was gonna happen. I would have liked for them to wait considering some pricey stuff I had in the room and that they kinda left a small mess on the floor I had to sweep up. Lucky for me they did have a broom in the place so I could actually sweep it up. Very nice owner and workers though. Second thing is that there is no sign or anything on the building to show where it is, and the address listed took me to the wrong place. I had to search to find it a little bit and ask some people.

• Shane (10/5): Great place in a great location! - Nelson, the property manager, is great and very accommodating. Room was clean and well furnished. The location is excellent with Angelins Square a few blocks away. I would definitely stay again!
• Jay (8/5): Nice Stay in Apartment - Our stay at Luna Paradise was pleasant, it was a nice size apartment for both myself and fiance. It was very easy to check in, and didn't have to deal with any usual check in procedures at hotels. And the resort fees that are usually given for stays at miami beach or fort laurdadale. And lets not forget parking fees. Everything was included in our stay, and we didn't see any extra fees after we left our stay. The only thing I wish was different were the pillows, I like pillows to be just a tad bit firmer. Besides that it was great, oh and wished the pool was a little bigger. If 2 groups were there it was already packed.

• Courtney (10/5): Great experience! - This hotel was exactly what I was looking for! A quiet, apartment that was just a couple of blocks from a nice, quiet beach. It's an apartment style hotel. It was a clean, one bedroom, kitchen, living room and bathroom. Free wifi and parking, within walking distance to a ton of stuff, and super friendly and responsive staff. The manager, Nelson, was wonderful! We will definitely be going back.
• Jen (10/5): I'm coming back!!!!! - I was extremely satisfied. Nelson the property manager was very nice. It was clean and the other guests were really friendly. It wasn't very hotelly which I like. It is so convenient to the beach and local shops. My only complaint was no ice machine and the washer and dryer weren't very useful as 1 of each was out of order. I had a wonderful time and will definitely come back to luna paradise.

Nelson helped us get into the room without issue and the room was updated and clean. My girlfriend and I loved walking to the beach and even needed to wash some towels and sheets on-site and we were able to do so. I enjoyed my experience here and will be back!

• Nicole (10/5): Clean, updated, Pet-Friendly w/ BEAUTIFUL Beaches! - I chose Luna Paradise because I was looking for a pet-friendly apartment. Luna was perfectly clean and modern. The access to the beach is just across the street and walking to the town center for restaurants and shopping is only 5 minutes. I enjoyed the pool several times during my stay and the manager even hooked me up with a BBQ grill to enjoy my steaks I picked up at the market. In fact, I'll admit that I read the reviews before staying here and was prepared for a "no service on site" experience per comments in the reviews but my experience wasn't like that at all. The manager Nelson did appear to be a "one man band" and did everything himself at the property but I never felt neglected. One night when I was settled and didn't feel like going back out, I called to request a wine opener and he had one to my door within minutes. Nicest guy ever! For those of you who like to stay in, there are flat screen TV's in both living room and bedroom - not my thing, but they do work as I would leave one on for the dogs to have background noise if I stepped out. Speaking of noise, this place is on a quieter street and is serene. I plan to be back!
