Nicole (5/5): Beautiful Lodging but Overpriced - Great location, beautiful cabins Poor communication with front desk. Our room wasn’t ready for check in at 4pm, and when we did finally check in, the dishwasher was still running so we had to unload dishwasher and trash bags were right outside front door.

Cailee (8/5): Very good - The location was great, the room was very cute and tidy. Unfortunately, since it was the winter the grounds were not open and there was no one else there really. We wanted to ask someone about ski trail but couldn't. There were also a few things in our room that could be fixed for future users.

Kari (8/5): - LOVED the cabin but it was a bummer our stove didnt work. We changed our plans (ordered pizzs)so we could eat but it was an inconvenience. A heads up ahead of time would have been nice so we knew to plan to not use the oven and stove. A discount for our inconvenience may have been a nice touch since we couldnt cook at all. Otherwise, we LOVE the resort and it was beautiful, quiet, and perfect for our family getaway.

Patrece (10/5): - The property was so quiet and peaceful. We had deer roaming right out our window. Our cabin was spotless. The rooms were huge, the bathrooms had everything we needed and the kitchen was equipped with everything you need for your stay. We will be going back soon! I do have to say that the property was dark after sunset so we did have to watch where we walked with the steps and uneven ground. We could have used a lighted pathway but it was nothing that our cellphone flashlights couldn't handle. This place is a treasure!
Breanne (10/5): - We shared a cabin with 2 families. The cabin was new, clean and very comfortable. The beach was fun for the us, we used canoes, paddles boards and swam out to the dock. We did the little hike around the lake (maybe 25 minutes) and walked down for a fun snack at Zorbas. The equipment at the beach could have been in better shape, basketball hoop was missing etc. But overall, a great stop for a few nights.
Ricardo (8/5): - Nice cottage property, quiet and great if you have a boat with access to the lake. Kids playground was old, basketball hoop was broken and the private beach needed some updates. I was hoping for a personal fire pit but there was only one public pit by the beach. Location was great, it was next to Zorbaz and Bar Harbor Supper Club.
Richelle (8/5): - The cabin was nicely sized and accommodated our family of 6 perfectly. Beds were comfy, updated fixtures and appliances. I liked the secluded feel of the resort and how it’s surrounded by all the trees. Saw deer frequently when we were coming or going. The dock systems do need some attention. Several areas appeared broken and were uneven. Grassy areas surrounding the docks were overgrown. We enjoyed the beach one day. Nice and sandy. Perfect for swimming with my kids. They had fun catching minnows! Enjoyed use of the kayaks and paddle boards, but they were stored all along the sandy area of the beach. View from the lawn chairs was obscured by the boats, and it limited how much sandy area the kids could play on. Would be nicer to have all the “toys” arranged on one end, to allow for kids to play in the sand in the other areas. This didn’t bother the kids though- they loved the beach! The arcade was dirty and run down. Not fun for my kids. My husband and I enjoyed a drink at the bar one night- pleasant staff and tasty cocktails. Nice atmosphere. Overall it was a good experience. Fit our needs, but if I were looking for a longer stay (more than just a couple nights), we would probably look for someplace with more ammenities. This was a smaller resort, but had nice cabins to spread out (as opposed to a basic hotel room).

Quiet and nice property, although you may not get lakeside even if that is what you think you are renting from pic. Looks like if you come after Memorial Day, there is much more activity.

Sonja (10/5): Nice quiet beautiful place to enjoy my birthday! - Great location, away from the traffic and congestion of Brainard, but close enough to access when needed. There is a restaurant, but unfortunately not open during winter months, so we brought our own food to cook. cabins were very spacious and well laid out. They were well insulated from outside sound. Bedding was very comfy. great TV options (It was winter....) I am not sure how it would be in summer with the cabins full, but there was quite a bit of space between the buildings. We enjoyed our time there, and were able to throw in a fishing line. The trumpeter swans entertained us! I was very satisfied with the way everything was
Jennifer (8/5): - We stayed in cabin 12 for 4 nights while visiting family. The view is amazing, lots of windows overlooking the lake. I liked that the cabin was at the end of the road so you didn’t overlook your neighbors. The area was very quiet. The cabin was super clean and ready for our stay. It was nice having a kitchen and washer/dryer although the washer somehow stained some of our clothes. The king bed was horrible! Super hard, creaky and springs were popping up all night. A nicer bed would have made the stay 5/5 because I would have liked to get some good sleep on my vacation!

The one I received was fine, but the headboard on the bed was loose and the walls were stained. The fireplace pilot light clicks constantly when the fire is lit. It’s just not overall as nice as the property I wanted.

Jane (10/5): If you’re looking for a pleasant stay, Lost Lake Lodge is a great choice. - The cabins and property have the perfect up north feel, staff are very friendly and helpful, and the cabin was perfectly clean, kitchen appliances were in new condition and the beds were very comfy. Nothing to report as a negative.
Lavonne (8/5): Overall, we loved the relaxation and quietness and it was clean. - That was one of the problems. No food. The restaurant was closed during the time we were there. We were not advised of the 6-8 steps going up to the cabin and my friend and I are elderly. One of us had serious issues with the steps. It should have been advised in the information before booking.

Michele (9/5): Superb - We liked that the cabin was really beautiful, clean and comfortable for our family. The resort was quiet and nice ammenities, especially fond of access to lake view. We didn't try the restaurant although the menu looked good. Cute gift shop, unfortunately it was closed on our attempts to buy a sweatshirt. We didn't like that the beach / activity area as it looked like it was unkept. Would have been nice if the beach area was raked, kayak, water boards, canoes layed out nicely and clean (canoe had a lot of sand), swingset slide equipment working, shed with some of the life just on the floor and gave the impression not cared for. Horseshoe pit only had one stake, beach toy box looked not well care for either. We would have liked for it to be more inviting to swim. On that note, no idea if the area is actually swimable?? Not very clear instructions on how to clean, no vacuum cleaner, that would have been handy with an 8 month old crawling about.
