Just one tovel for showering! No air-conditioned! In here is the ditty fan with horrible noise like Helicopter. The electric heater for the second world war! Something I saw in my grandparents childish pictures. I really do not feel safe here. I'm thinking if it is even up to code? What if the heater born the bed next to it. The not smoking room smells like fresh cigarettes. The room is totally different with pictures in the booking.com app. Manager the worst attitude ever. Nothing like being in the U.S.A.. • Aisha (6/5): Bad, but not terrible - I got this room for one night as I was seeing a show at the Fox Theater down the street and wanted something cheap. To start, the pros were a comfy bed, but I used my keffiyeh on the pillow for better hygiene, plenty of hot water, AC/Heater, and a very nice staff that allowed me an early check in. The cons were the bad hygiene. There was grimey and dirt everywhere, even what liked blood in the bathroom. There was a blunt stub just sitting on the AC, so I'm not sure how thorough the cleaning job was. Also, only one channel on TV which happened to be a non-stop marathon of Cops that would turn to static when the power box just randomly went out. No microwave, no refrigerator. Very basic room.

• Sampson (1/5): The Prejudice Manager - Nothing Upon arrival I was purposely denied a room even after I called ahead to see if there were rooms available. This afternoon I called to make sure that I was not being charged for being denied a room when I was present, the manager told me that I refused the room knowing that he willfully denied me a room. I had a witness on the phone who heard this. So I will never go there ever again.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Just tell yourself it’s vintage. - So until this past month my husband and I were in a navigation program, with the goal of us getting permanent housing before a year was up. Then the folks who ran that program did a bunch of illegal, underhanded, “because we’re in charge and you’re marginalized” crap that ended with us being given 5 hours to vacate and find a new place. Here’s where Nights Inn comes in: I showed up at about 8:50pm and the desk clerk tells me they’re probably sold out, but come back in an hour and he’ll see if he can squeeze me in. I killed an hour getting Mexican food and came back, and, as promised, he magic-ed up a room for my husband, my dog and myself for the night. The AC was busted, the bed was squeaky, but the floors were newer hardwood (or very good looking imitation hardwood) and the TV, while kinda small, gets EVERY. channel Dish Network offers. The shower is a bit dated and cramped, but you don’t need to wear shoes in it. The closets are always odd shaped spaces but serve their purpose. In fact, most of the issues with cleanliness are really just old things that need to be updated but probably cost quite a bit to update. There are no phones in the room, and no ice machine on the premises, and the soda machine is empty/broken, but the easy liquor across the street is open till midnight and Safeway is walkable too. TL:DR: the Ritz it is not, but you cannot beat the price and location.

• Jennifer (10/5): For the price just to get a way for the noght and have a few drinks with a friend and have fun with no worries perfect - They had smoking rooms which was cool. Yiu could tell the hotel was older though my room actually used to be a one bes room apartment it had a bed in living room and bed in bed room... Its defintaly not the hilton but if you are lookkng for some where you can just go have a night out and not worry about nothing thats a pretty chill spot.... they also have no deposit and accept cash No light in the shower didnt see oce mavhine or vending machine no frig no microwave

NO SMOKE ODORS EITHER!! CLEAN SHEETS, BEDS, SOFT PILLOWS!! BIG ROOMS, HUGE CLOSET SPACES, SHOWERS IN GOOD SHAPE, BATHROOMS AS WELL. THEY EVEN SELL SOME INSTANT NOODLE SOUPS, CANNED RAVIOLIS, COFFEE, AND SOME OTHER LATE NIGHT SNACKS IF YOU GET IN LATE, AND ATE HUNGRY, DOMINOS DELIVERS HERE, ALSO AMIGOS PIZZA IS AWESOME, THEY ARE IN SLICE .COM (LIKE DOOR DASH)

THE STaff is always courteous, and working around the clock to keep the place CLEAN, AND SAFE. THIS IS NOT A FANCY HOTEL, BUT THIS IS A PLACE YOU CAN COUNT ON, TO KEEP THEIR SERVICE AND WHAT THEY OFFER, JUST AS GOOD AS IT EVER WAS. So I'll just mention the first 5 that come to mind so first, I got there, paid, walked up the stairs to get to the room and halfway up the steps is a condom. used. not a single towel in the room and maybe a quarter roll of cheapo TP. Smoke alarm ripped off the ceiling and never replaced. The TV don't work. Bed side skirts literally brown halfway up. I'm the bath under sink cabinet, a used soap bar, shampoo bottle, a glass cup and in it a little kitchen knife and a burnt on the bottom spoon. I could go on but I think I'm gettin my message across. never, EVER, BRING A CHILD HERE. EVER.

• Steven (8/5): Slept Ok, regardless. - There were no towels. There was no remote for the tele. There were also no fridge/microwave, but, i don't believe any/all of those had been promised to start with. It was, kind of, filthy in there, but, was definitely not poopy or anything.

• Luke (6/5): Budget option for adventurous train travelers - The bed was comfy and well-appointed, perfect after 31 hours on the train. My room had a large window looking west over the boulevard; with earplugs, I was not bothered by passing traffic. Service was friendly upon check-in. Great value for the Bay Area, less than half the cost of a room in Emeryville. Emeryville Amtrak station is 15 minutes away by foot. Downtown Oakland is a 20-30 minute walk along Market and San Pablo streets. Room was quite dilapidated and abused. Toilet flush lever was broken, and the showerhead sprayed water all over the bathroom floor, as there was no shower curtain. Tissues were stuffed in various holes in the walls. The neighborhood is definitely "ghetto", with garbage piled, dumped and strewn everywhere. However, I did not feel unsafe walking to and from downtown well after dark on a Friday night. At my 7:30 AM checkout time, nobody answered the bell.

• rWilliam (8/5): - The property was convenient for the area, and unfortunately paper signs were posted about "No Pets" new policy, and will be charged $250 for damages and will be ask to leave, we booked the hotel just for the "Friendly Pets" so we had to make arrangements for the pets, since it was late. We just wanted a hot bath food. Its was also unfortunate that we could not get a cold drink since the vending machines were broken on many floors, We definitely would stay if they changed the no pets policy. Hopefully
• Russell (2/5): - terrible. one star. deplorable that expedia would promote a place such as this. what looked like blood spatter on the door, a chop shop being run out of the carports (as i left this morning i looked across the street and there's an auto body shop so i'm sure they're working together....), questioned whether or not our personal belongings would be safe in our locked room while we attended a show in SF. and the tv was broken. terrible excuse for a hotel.
