- Sandra (10/5): Perfect spot to stay, gardens are lovely, hotel feels calm and exceptional staff - The staff, the team at the property were honestly the best, also the free evening ‘Frog Tour’ was better than ones we had paid lots of money for..such a great extra to offer and Kevin was great. Also, special mention to Crystal, although all the team were so so helpful. Maybe the room was a little small, but perfectly adequate.

- Olga (10/5): I absolutely loved my stay here and would highly recommend this hotel. - I rarely write hotel reviews, but I genuinely wanted to share how much I loved this place. Staying in a bungalow surrounded by the jungle was such a special experience — absolutely beautiful and full of life.
Everything was spotless, very well maintained, with beautiful design and perfectly done rooms.
The location is also amazing — only a 5-minute walk to La Fortuna Waterfall.
- Smith (10/5): 10/10 stay and still dreaming about our stay - My fiancé and I stayed at this hotel for half of our trip to Costa Rica and this was by far and away the best portion of ourexperience. The rooms were clean, nice and had everything you could wish for in on top of that had an amazing view of the volcano. The property was wonderful tucked away, quiet with a small field and a cool central lobby and community area they had an amazing pool withtwo hot tubs and you could even see wildlife from there. We saw two can one of the days which was really cool because one of the hotel staff members actually came out and every single person by the pool stopped what they were doing. got quiet and we all spent 10 minutes at the toucan and getting pictures one night we even did their nightly frog walk with a group of other guests and were shocked at howmuch we actually got to see it was such a cool experience the thing that my fiancé and I were most blown away by was the quality of service we booked several activities and experiences prior to getting to Costa Rica through the hotel. They helped arrange all of that for us. We went to the thermal Springs. We went zip lining. We went on a hike and we went to the hanging bridges. They were incredibly communicative and a special shout out to Esther, who was absolutely amazing. She was so friendly welcoming, and when she found out that my fiancé and I had been recently engaged, the team actually delivered a bottle of champagne in a handwrittennote for us, which was a really nice gesture. The food is the last thing I wanted to know which was phenomenal. Breakfast is included in the included. I don’t really have any cons about this property. The only one I can think to mention is we did have laundry done one day and it took quite a bit longer than expected, and our clothes were a bit damp and we were charged for it, but besides that we can overlook it because of all the amazing positives of the property

- Rachel (10/5): One of a kind place, would be thrilled to come back - It’s so beautiful. Such wonderful rooms, facilities, and the staff are fantastic - such lovely and welcoming people who are so kind.
- Rebecca (10/5): Our favourite hotel in Costa Rica thank you for a wonderful stay. - The hotel was beautiful, in a good location for the places we visited and our room was light, spacious and spotlesly clean. We enjoyed the outside shower! Every member of staff was incredibly helpful and gave us lots if advice on trips, wildlife and the best routes to take.
The food was excellent with lots of choice, we especially enjoyed the breakfasts. Nothing
- Tamara (10/5): If heaven and paradise had a baby. - It is set right in the jungle and not a moment goes by that you can’t hear and see nature. There beautiful are paths around the property, a bird spot and a frog sanctuary. It’s so green and lush with flowers everywhere. The pool is clean and refreshing. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful and speak very good English. The breakfast that is included is the best I’ve ever had with fresh fruit and gourmet menu options, along with fresh coconut water and coffee all day. Simply amazing! Absolutely nothing. It was perfection.
- Bart (10/5): Wonderful stay. - Excellent location near the Fortuna falls. Very comfortable, clean and beautiful. Loved the jungle feel and the frog tour.
- Valerie (10/5): Exceptional Service! - The vicinity to La Fortuna waterfall was amazing and the grounds were beautiful with a view of Arenal! Ester, Kevin and Antonio were incredible and I can not rave about them enough. Such an intimate and wonderful setting to enjoy La Fortuna! The food was amazing and I loved my stay! Nothing I didn’t like.
- Allison (10/5): Boutique luxury - Gorgeous with high-end features. The room was beautiful and luxuriously comfortable. It was honestly honeymoon worthy. We didn’t even want to leave our room during the day, but once we did we didn’t want to leave Tifakara either. The whole staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the cocktails were just as good as the James Beard award winning spots that we frequent at home. We couldn’t recommend this place enough. They also had excellent live music two of the nights we were there in the restaurant. The food was phenomenal, and the front desk helped us arrange all of our activities and gave us great recommendations.
- Ana Carolina (10/5): - Quarto maravilhoso, funcionários atenciosos, comida muito boa! Tudo perfeito!
Sehr freundliches Personal.
- Jon (10/5): -
- Stefanie (9/5): Best garden ever! - The garden is amazing! You can spot frogs, birds and we had a sloth hanging around right in front of our balcony! The complementary night tour was amzing! Big thank you to the concierge/reception - all of them, but especially Esther - who organized sooo much for us! We loved our room, but the reason why we give 9 out of 10 points is the shower. On the pictures it looks stylish, but it doesn‘t work properly. If you want warm water, you have to increase water pressure, therefore warm water is only available with very high pressure. The rest is all fine, clean and still totally recommandable.
- C8920JCstefanop (10/5): Night walk - Dilan is a super kind guide. The night walk is simile but lovely at the same time! Good job
- 873louisas (10/5): Fabulous time at Noah’s Forest! - Oskar, Josue, Jeisson, Javier, and Dilan took great care of us at Noah’s Forest. They were so nice, helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
- Marlin PATRICIA (10/5): - La atención de los colaboradores
- Mrunali (10/5): LOVED LOVED LOVED Everything! - Most stunning property. Experience of living inside the rainforest but with comfort of a lux room. We enjoyed the balcony so much, and couldn't get enough of it! The staff is awesome- Esther, always smiling and so helpful, she's a gem, Kevin is so smart and Dylan and restaurant staff and housekeeping service are all fantastic. Cindy and Fernanda too. The restaurant menu can get a bit repetitive if you're staying more than two nights.

- 705skyh (10/5): Perfect stay in an intimate rainforest setting with exceptional customer service! - It was perfect for our family of four (children ages 8 and 11). The lush setting, amazing food, and incredible staff exceeded expectations. The service was 10/10, and they did the little things to make guests feel welcome. It was an intimate setting, allowing the staff to get to know us and cater to our needs. There was always someone at the front desk with great recommendations. The night walk around the property was memorable and magical. We will absolutely stay again! Shoutout to Charlie (Chichi), Antonio, and Kevin. Thank you!

- sandyvC9348FS (10/5): A touch of Paradise in an amazing Country. - The location is incredible and you feel so close to nature. The staff at reception, Cyndy, Esther, Fernanda and Kevin went out of their way to accommodate and inform and were so professional and nice. The food in the restaurant was truly exceptional and I’ve been to a LOT of good places to eat. This was well up there!!! Service in the restaurant from both Antonio and Chi Chi was impeccable and they could not have been nicer and patient with my floundering Spanish.
I loved this place and I’m certain you will too. Oh and we saw Sloths and Monkeys and Toucans plus in just 45 seconds, my Merlin bird sound App identified 15 species I’d never heard before. Incredible place and we’ll be back!!!
- Vacation39665761527 (10/5): Magical place with wonderful staff - The hotel itself is lovely, secluded in the rainforest you feel full immersed in nature, incredibly relaxing! All the team including Cyndy, Esther, Fernanda and Kevin were amazing and were so helpful. They really made our trip to La Fortuna so special and unforgettable. Do not hesitate booking this incredible hotel.
- James Osborn (10/5): Wonderful location, outstanding wildlife opportunities, comfortable, excellent customer service. - This is a glorious place to stay.
It is the perfect combination of comfort and being part of nature. The grounds are superb, and you will never be bored. Breakfast is wonderful too.
The staff were all great, but a particular shout out to Kevin, and the nightlife walk he took us on around the hotel. So many frogs, and all sorts of interesting creatures. It always felt safe, but you could still get really close. He took amazing photos, and patiently shared them with everyone after the walk. He took time to answer questions, and for everyone to take their turn to look and take their own photos too.
Also a shout out to Antonio in the restaurant who was always smiling, and gave us so many helpful tips on tours, and Costa Rica in general - an absolute legend.
There is a free ping pong table, and pool table, which, whilst being outside, is protected from the elements (and the wildlife!!)
The outside shower was also a lovely touch.
Toucans were flying around the grounds at all times, and the coati came to visit most days too. Just wish we could have stayed for longer. N/A

- 340ozy (10/5): The best hotel I’ve ever stayed in! - Thank you Ti-Fakara for the wonderful stay! We stayed for 5 days with our two young kids. It was the most magical experience!
The hotel is located in the rainforest (what better way to experience Costa Rica?) and minutes away from city centre.
The rooms and amenities are luxurious (new, modern, sleek, clean - you have high tech accessories in the room, high quality pillows/furniture and luxuries like an open air shower and jacuzzi on your patio. Theres a modern swimming pool in the common area and fun activities like ping pong and billiards. When you consider all of this, the value of what you get for the price is absolutely worth it).
The grounds are beautiful (you can tell they take care of the plants and animals; you can see frogs, tropical birds, and even monkeys on the grounds. Pro tip: take the night tour! They’ll show you all types frogs that live around the area).
Best of all - the staff. They are so lovely (professional, happy, wonderful and positive vibes- the Costa Rican way!).
The breakfast and dinner were DELICIOUS and they brought in singers to the restaurant for evening entertainment. The singers literally brought me to tears (they were that good).
Overall, Ti-Fakara is a dream!!! It’s better than anything you can imagine. Book this place - you won’t regret it!
Ti-Fakara, thank you for having us. We will never forget you and hope to be back one day!
- CleggyBroon (10/5): Tropical Forest retreat - Loved our 3 nights staying in a Forest King Room. Have to say it was a tad snug.
Personally I would stay in a larger room in the future.
The staff couldn't do enough for you.
Antonio looked after us at breakfast & Chi Chi in the evening.
Thanks to Kevin / Esther / Fernando for rearranging our activities, as we arrived one bag less & couldn't go on a trek due to not having walking shoes.
We were updated regularly & our bag was returned on the 3rd day.
WhatsApp messages worked a treat for info before & during our stay.
The 24/7 coffee / hot chocolate dispenser was well used.
The night walk in the grounds of the hotel was a highlight. Cyndy found loads of frogs for us including a Eyelash viper.
She even took a few pics for us & showed me how to adjust the contrast using my phone.
The food at breakfast was faultless & the evening meals delightful.
Happy to recommend.
- JM765 (10/5): Relaxing weekend stay - We had a great time at Tifakara! The staff is so welcoming from the moment we got there until we left several days later. They helped us schedule activities and made great recommendations when we needed them. The night frog tour was a treat. The restaurant was perfect and a wonderful way to start and end the day. Would definitely go there again!!!
- stefanC4454PW (10/5): Rainforest location - quiet oasis to explore Arenal and La Fortuna - This is truly an extraordinary boutique hotel away from the crowds, but still close to La Fortuna and Arenal. Best of both worlds. We stayed 2 nights to explore Arenal. The hotel is located directly on the south slopes of Arenal, near the Fortuna waterfall in a tropical rainforest garden. We really liked the quiet and misty atmosphere during the day and then the abundant rainforest sounds all night. Great for bird watching, as we saw multiple species every day. The food was exceptional and the staff and service was extraordinary, especially Cristel, Cindy, Ester, Kevin and Fer who were there for us when we needed anything. We will definitely come back.
- Stephan (10/5): - Exceptional friendly staff, great food, calm, quiet, within a rainforest along the slopes of Arenal
- Sigmond (9/5): Highly recommend staying here if it fits your budget - The jungle setting and the staff were exceptional The restaurant food was very good, just not to the point of being exceptional.

- 465cassiev (10/5): Wonderful stay! - Loved our time at Tikifkara- staff was so welcoming and accommodating. Food was amazing - breakfast and dinner- no need to dine elsewhere!
The night walk tour was so cool seeing frogs. Getting to know the staff made it more of a personable experience and walking distance from La Fortuna waterfall!
- C1319OPcharlesp (10/5): Night Walk Experience - Kevin who did the night walk was fantastic! He found so many frogs for us to see and was increibly knowledgable. This was an amazing perk to our stay at Noah’s Forest.
- Justine (10/5): Truly amazing!! Thank you!!! - Technology, design, staff, food, night jungle walk Nothing
- O5892RLlisab (10/5): Superb and stunning hotel with fabulous service - My daughter and I had the most amazing stay at Ti-Fakara. The hotel is beautiful in keeping with the amazing surroundings. All the staff are fabulous, friendly, know your names and can’t do enough for you. A big thank you to Antonio, Cindy, Cristel and Esther and Kevin for the fantastic and informative frog tour with fabulous pictures. I have travelled the world and this is defo my most favourite spot. The breakfasts are amazing, the pool is gorgeous- just loved every minute!
- Cristian (10/5): Excelente.
- Lisa (10/5): One of the best hotels in the world - The most beautiful accommodation with outstanding staff. Immaculately clean, beautiful room, outstanding breakfast with fresh juiced, fresh coconuts and cooked to order. Gorgeous pool and beautiful location and defo take the evening from tour. It’s free and amazing! Nothing

- hins2021 (10/5): Amazing - We stayed in one of the newer lodges overlooking the jungle which was incredible! Really nice, big rooms with a great view. The hotel is located right next to La Fortuna waterfall and close enough to town too (by car). The staff are incredible and really go out of your way to help accommodate any needs. Special shout out to Antonio who was always super happy at breakfast and the check-in and reservations team, in particular, Esther and Cyndy.

- AngelaS343 (10/5): Great stay!! 5***** - We had a great stay at the hotel. We stayed 3 nights in the tropical forest bungalow.
The bungalow is modern, clean and surrounded by trees. Privacy guaranteed.
The staff was very kind and always helpful. They were always in a great mood and very sweet. Especially cyndy, esther and kevin :-)
- Roman (7/5): Great if I didn't experience Chachagua hotel first. - The staff are really great, specifically want to mention Cyndy from reception and Charlie & Chichi from the restaurant. They were super good to us. Honestly well too expensive for what the place is, for a decently cheaper price and a little more distance from La Fortuna (10 more minutes) you can stay at Chachagua hotel and the rooms were significantly bigger and better, with nicer showers and a large patio with a hammock. Which I recommend more than Ti-Fakara if it's available.
- Mohammad Kaddah (9/5): - Location is amazing with nice view
- Meander41795564281 (10/5): A memorable stay, must visit again - I gasped the first time I walked into my room and that feeling never wore off.
From the jungle views off my balcony, to the sound system, to the (very welcome) Japanese toilet surprise, this hotel is genuinely among the best I've ever stayed at. The room felt brand new, the property is immaculate, and the food: breakfast, lunch, dinner, was delicious across the board. A special thanks to Antonie my server who gave me great recommendations. Also the hotel is perfectly located 5 minutes from the Fortuna waterfall.
But what truly set this experience apart was the people. Kevin checked me in with such warmth and kindness, and his nightly nature tour of the property was a highlight of my entire trip. spotting frogs and little animals in the dark, receiving high-quality photos and being gifted stickers and a printed photo of one of the frogs. Genuinely thoughtful and memorable.
Cynthia organized all my tours seamlessly. I did the hot springs and the Mistico Hanging Bridges, and I'd recommend both without hesitation.
I was genuinely sad to leave. Can't wait to come back!
- JuneC_13 (10/5): Beautiful hotel! - Beautiful hotel right in the jungle! Great staff and service! Special thanks to Esther, Kevin and Cindy! Love this place and will back!

- P839LHalisonj (10/5): Awesome stay - Wonderful place, the staff were so kind and helpful. Delicious restaurant food! I love that it felt like our bungalow was in the middle of the rainforest and don’t miss the fascinating night time frog tour! We’ll return to this place for sure☺️
- Petra (10/5): - Originelle Unterkunft in schönem Dschungelgarten, sehr freundliches Personal.
- lof625 (10/5): Perfect! - Absolutely relaxing and beautiful. The room was perfect and you are right in the middle of the jungle. From your bathroom you can hear all the birds. There isn’t one negative thing I could say about this resort & I feel like I am typically pretty particular. They have a coffee machine you can use anytime to make specialty drinks and the breakfast, which is included, is wonderful.
The staff are very kind and helpful. They helped us book tours and helped make our stay perfect.
- mohammadkK9473RO (10/5): One of best hotel around the world - It's one of the best hotel around the world, with great ane friendly staff
And the view from our room was amazing
This hotel made our trip in costa rica more perfect than what we expect
And the room very calm and you can relax with natural sound around you
- ClaireS2973 (10/5): A beautiful oasis in the forest with fabulous staff and a great restaurant. - Tifakara is a great choice if you want a small friendly hotel with boutique rooms and beautiful gardens. It’s walking distance to the la Fortuna waterfall and set in a quiet area on the edge of the town yet far enough away to feel like an oasis in the forest. You are woken to the sound of birds and monkeys in the trees around.
The staff are super friendly and welcoming - big shout out to Chi Chi in the restaurant and Cindy and the rest of the reception team who looked after us so well. The food was fantastic- we ate breakfast and dinner there for 3 days and the restaurant has views of Arsenal volcano. Nice pool and jacuzzi area for an afternoon dip after a day hiking and exploring. The rooms are nicely decorated with outside showers and a deck in the trees. The only slight negative was limited storage for clothes etc.
we had a great time and would highly recommend.
- 824kjeldg (4/5): No value for money - If you pay 400 euros per night you expect something good. Our experience defenitely did not live up to that. The bed and bathroom are simply too small. The bathroom is 'devided' in two with and outside shower, seperated bij a glass door. The door from the bathroom to the rest of the room is also made of glass which means you have a lighted room from 05.30u onwards. The double glass doors also mean that you can't close the room entirely from insects to come in. It seems that they didn't look at practical things during the design of the bungalows. The food in the restaurant didn't make us happy either. De steak was dry and the sides were tastless and dissapointing. If you just want to have a drink at night snacks like for example nacho's are not possible. This place asks a lot of money and is defenitely not worth it.
- Karin (9/5): Velmi chutná kuchyně - Téměř vše, kromě postele. Neuvěřitelně vrzala a matrace byla poměrně měkká.
Jinak čisto, personál velmi příjemný a nádherné prostředí Jak už jsem psala: postel!
- Sonia (10/5): Wunderschön Lage , sehr nettes Personl einfach perfekt - Sehr gut Alles okey
- jca945 (4/5): Stay somewhere else! - Unless you are comfortable staying at a hotel where there is no ability to discuss an issue with a manager and believe me you will face some issues, it is recommended you stay somewhere else.
This hotel is expensive and for the price point you'd expect excellent service and accommodation to match.
What to be aware of:
Some of the rooms are being sold despite the area to access the rooms not being complete. Workmen will be outside your room each morning to give you a wake up of construction noise, not really what you expect when holidaying in the rainforest of Costa Rica. There will be unfinished pathing that you will have to navigate each time leaving and entering the resort and the beauty of the rainforest damaged by the sight of an excavator/concrete maker.
During the stay, on a day with an early day trip booked, (which is very much the standard in La Fortuna due to the wide variety of activities) the water to the room was switched off in its entirety due to an issue faced by a different room on the property.
Waking up for a 7 hour day trip with no access to running water when spending almost £500 a night is unacceptable.
Had raised on multiple occasions the opportunity to discuss this with management, with no contact with anyone possible other than the front desk who don't have authority to deal with issues of this nature.
Esther on reception is excellent and deserves to be supported by management in a much better way.
Given the number of other hotels available in La Fortuna, I'd recommend you spend your money elsewhere to avoid facing issues and not then being able to discuss these with any senior member of staff.

- X883ASjosephb (10/5): In love in the jungle. - We absolutely loved our stay at Ti-Fakara hotel. It's far enough away where you feel secluded in the jungle, but close enough to La Fortuna and attractions like the waterfall and the hot springs.
The atmosphere is so laid back and cool, we were happy to just spend a day hanging out by the pool and watching the birds and wildlife. And talk about wildlife! We saw so many species just from the hotel. Birds, monkeys, and so many frogs. We went from watching monkeys on our balcony in the day, to finding so many cool frogs on the (complimentary to guests) night walk tour they offer at the hotel.
The room, while a little on the small side, felt like we were in a secluded refuge in the forest. The rooms were very clean, but did occasionally get some bugs due to the location and addition of the outdoor shower. It truly offered a unique experience that you don't find in a lot of hotels.
The food at the restaurant was very tasty. We looked forward to breakfast everyday (which was included with our booking) as it was tasty and had many good offerings to choose from. We also enjoyed the live music and tasty dinner options several nights. You want tasty drinks served by the pool? They have that too. Not to mention the unlimited coffee and hot chocolate, all of good Costa Rican quality. I drank far too much hot chocolate.
The best thing about the hotel though was the service. Everyone was super helpful, whether you had a question about the animals, needed recommendations for food, or help booking a tour or hot springs day. Everyone was so friendly and lovely. Huge shout-out to Cyndy , Kevin, and Antonio. We interacted with them a lot, and they made us feel so welcomed. All the other staff were equally great as well. We would definitely love to come stay here again!
- Michael (10/5): Awesome - Cindy and the whole staff was very friendly!
- brandonsoccer10 (10/5): Will come back to Ti-Fakara, top notch! - This boutique hotel was quite special. The setting is intimate and authentic nestled in nature. The staff make you feel right at home. We were celebrating a few special occasions and they went above and beyond. Esther and Cyndy were amazing and the restaurant staff was great too. Kevin led the night walk and could tell he loved his job. Also, not to mention Esther went the extra mile to help us arrange excursions that were difficult to reserve. Highly recommend this place
- ChicagoGal83 (10/5): Wonderful! - Amazing amazing place to stay! We spend all of our time in CR in La Fortuna and at Tifakara, which is truly in the rainforest (and yes, it rained some everyday even during non-rainy season). If you are love birds (we do) you could just hang out there all day, but it's also quick ride to other activities. which we fell in love with. Frog sanctuary on property too! It’s a 10 minute walk to Waterfall, which we visited on last day. We ate all our meals at La Bosque because it was a great place to dine after a day of activity. Staff great! (i wish i had all names but Cyndy and Kevin earn special shout out)

- Gpburdell69 (10/5): Night Time Frog Walk with Epic Frog Results - We stayed at Noah's Forest by Tifakara but they offered a nighttime "frog walk" at their sister hotel and signed us up through the concierge. When we arrived at Tifakara by the Waterfall, it was basically pouring rain and the guide, Cyndy, told us that the walk would unfortunately be cancelled. I put on my very best sad puppy dog "but we flew 8,000 miles to see the frog that's right here on the front of the travel book and I believe Costa Rica promised me that we would see THIS FROG" and she capitulated and agreed to the frog walk. In the pouring rain. She gave us some high-powered frog-finding lights and off we went.
We went to the first little pond. Zero frogs. Ok, some frog walk this is. Fine. We'll go to the second pond and HOLY SMOKES ITS ALL THE GREEN FROGS I WAS PROMISED. Frog. Frog. More frog. up close frog. girl frog. boy frog. red frog. green frog. Cyndy says give me your phone while I take a national geographic style photo of the frog (have I mentioned it's the one on the giant poster at the airport when you get off the plane?). Here's another one zoomed in frog. Check out this one with the red eyes from the poster. Check out this frog doing frog stuff. Wanna see some frog eggs? Want to hear some frog sounds?
Seriously. Go here. Take the frog walk. Ask for Cyndy, Queen of Frogs. This was totally epic.
- MeganPH (10/5): Geweldig! - Had an amazing time here. The staff was amazing and we had a good time with the Night tour. Breakfast is delicious and diner as well!
- LISA (10/5): We will be back! - Breakfast was amazing! Staff so helpful and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. Didn’t love the pillows :)
- Kenneth (10/5): - La naturaleza
- 237alaynan (10/5): Great hosts and wildlife - We had a wonderful time at Ti-fakara. Hansel, Antonio, Esther, Kevin, and Cyndy made our stay very comfortable and memorable. Our favorite part was seeing the wildlife on the property.
- Jeanette (10/5): - Beautiful property set in beautiful lush grounds. We spotted Toucans in the tree outside in the hotel grounds when we arrived!
The room felt inviting and bright with everything to have an enjoyable stay.
Je recomande +++ -
- razvanadanulescu (10/5): Great experience - Great experience at Tifakara hotel, great hotel, great staff very helpful and kind. Thank you very much Kevin, Cindy, Esther, Hansel and Antonio!

- rachelritfeld (10/5): Highly recommend - Was a wonderful hotel with wonderful staff! They were super helpful at arranging trips for us and attentive and easy to communicate with. Loved the hottubs, loved how close the waterfall was and the restaurant was good too! The breakfast was amazing and view from our room was wonderful… daily toucans and other birds to admire. Antonio was a wonderful waiter and made us feel at home every day. All the staff was great, but he was a little extra special.
The only improvement would have been to have better more consistent WiFi, upgraded smart TVs.
- madelinebY7497NV (10/5): Jungle Serenity - Tifakara exceeded our expectations. Such a beautiful property with personable and friendly staff. We booked a jungle villa for two nights within a longer trip to Costa Rica that focused primarily on the beach. As soon as you walk into the lobby you are immersed into the jungle. The room was very private with a wonderful outdoor shower and deck that was surrounded by lush greenery that we drank our coffee and spent time reading. Kevin and Cyndy were both very attentive as the concierge and the restaurant server who helped us for multiple meals was wonderful (I wish I could remember his name :/) Breakfast was great. We slept soundly, falling asleep to the natural noise machine of rain and jungle sounds! Would love to return one day!
- juliedF1486NP (10/5): The BEST …accommodations, staff and food!!! - Immediately upon arrival… the ambience was incredible. The pool, hot tubs… the food is INCREDIBLE. Local seafood and beef… tenderloin with chimichurri was the best I’ve ever had. From Esther, Cindy to Hansel and Kevin… they made us feel at home. We originally booked two nights and then headed up to Arenal Observatory for a night..which was special for the bird watching and location… but we couldn’t wait to come back to Tifakara. So much so that we spontaneously booked our last night in Costa Rica at Tifakara! Thank you to everyone who made our trip special… Julie and Patrick Doyle(Buffalo, NY)
- Natacha (10/5): Excelente 10/10 - Excelente todo!!! No pudo ser mejor!!! Nada
- slctravels (8/5): Great customer care, in a lovely setting. - Everyone here is amazingly friendly and concerned that you have a great stay.
We were there at an unusually cold and rainy time (not rainy season) and our tropical bungalow was cold, muddy and wet. They moved us the last night to a more comfortable room to make the experience better.
All the staff gave lovely recommendations and did everything they could to make it a beautiful stay in spite of the weather circumstances.
