Guest Reviews
- jackieaJ6801HA (2/5): Disappointing stay - Had previously stayed at Dobbins, hence why we booked again.
Unfortunately this visit shall be our last.
We checked in, paid upfront with the unsmiling receptionist.
Our room 23 was basic which we knew would be but the mattress had gone and we had the worst sleep, the bathroom floor was wet due to the radiator leaking.
After breakfast we let the receptionist know and she said that we’d be moved but felt we were being awkward.
However, got back in the evening and was given a key for room 17, this was the smallest room, couldn’t swing a cat in it, mattress was better but that was all, no pressure in the shower and water was freezing.
Went to bed in the smallest double bed to be woken up by the sound of the rain hammering down on the skylight at 1am and struggled to get back to sleep.
On a plus side the breakfast was good, nice and hot and the young girl serving was very nice.
It is a noisy Hotel with people moving about in the night or maybe it could be Maude.
- saimonl2026 (10/5): Family trip - Very well managed old historical place. All staff very friendly from reception to pub staff. Rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast was delicious and scrumptious thanks to chef for delicious food.Must visit if you are in Carrickfergus.
- ruthhY9967WY (6/5): Disappointing - Fab deal on living social. £19 for two Sunday Roasts with tea or coffee. While the food and service was good the meal was smaller than previous visits and although it’s advertised as relaxing in front of an open fire you are stuck in a cold room at the back.
- 201emilyi (10/5): Lovely cosy pub with varied menu - Our family had a great pub lunch and the service was excellent. Very kind and welcoming staff, couldn’t fault it, we will be back!
- S1916HGallisonm (8/5): Charming little inn. - Visited here for Halloween. It is a very authentic inn. Staff were friendly and the food was good! Portion sizes are very large - especially at breakfast! The only downside for us was that our bedroom did not feel warm despite some heating being on! This could have been due to the nature of the old building with thick walls. Also our bed was super-comfy!
- richS3486GO (10/5): Absolutely fantastic. A family run hotel where the welcome is warm and friendly - We stayed overnight. Clean rooms with good facilities. Staff wonderful and helpful. Breakfast delicious. Bar good fun and very welcoming. Love the history of the place and the location by the castle and harbour (which has free parking).
- Lalayouti (6/5): Great welcome, but average breakfast - We were warmly welcomed, but the breakfast was not great. We were served dry sausages, the avocado was not ripe, the mushrooms were bland (probably from a can, and the orange juice was bot freshly pressed, but was a soet of industrial orange juice from a box. Not impressed.
- Anthony (10/5): - 5/5
- RAYMOND (10/5): - Rooms were old but very clean and well kept ( the building is almost 600 years old lol) staff was awesome, breakfast was great and room was comfortable a little small but we expected that!
- Philip (8/5): Just what we needed - Well run and has everything we needed a bit rustic but clean and well maintained.
- Antone (10/5): - great place
- Sarah (10/5): - The hotel was old and rustic, and cozy. The breakfast was delicious! And service was friendly and great. Some nice pubs were very close to walk to with one being right across the street!!
- jacki (8/5): - Lovely old building, very helpful staff for 2 wet cyclists arriving late due to ferry being late.
The castle and harbour can be seen from the frontdoor
- Michael (10/5): - Quaint older property w a lot of charm. The staff was friendly and helpful and their food at their restaurant was excellent and plentiful.
We really liked the Carrick Fergus area as well.
Would stay there again for sure.
- kaza123 (10/5): Great Wee Spot - My husband and I had another great overnight stay. We had a small hiccup just after check in but this was very quickly rectified. The food was wonderful...highly recommend the chicken stack....and served by super friendly staff. Our room was clean, bed was super comfy and breakfast definitely set us up for the day. The lady serving breakfast was so lovely and chatty infact all staff we encountered were super friendly. Well done Team Dobbins!!
- Jeffrey (10/5): Cousin Palooza - We had a lovely stay .
We had an unforgettable evening with a reunion dinner. The food was good and the service excellent. They were so accommodating to our family. It is a very charming establishment.
- brad (10/5): - All good
- 488MichaelK488 (4/5): Eat there, DO NOT STAY THERE! - Firstly the good bits (this won't take long).
The staff are pleasant and helpful and the food is good. That's the good bits, yup that's all.
The rooms are dreadful. We were given room 15 (family room). We should have looked before we paid. The room when we entered smelt musty (if only that was the only problem) My wife did her usual and checked the shower, no pressure no hot water. She called reception and was told to let the water run for about 10 minutes. After 10 minutes the water was lukewarm warm but still had no pressure (the shelf above the sink is upside down, when you bend down you hit either on the way down or on the way up. We complained again, the lady downstairs said we could use the room opposite in the morning and they would swap us to the other family room the next day. The beds were awful, so lumpy. The decor was from the 1970's. Room 15 is above the bar so all the noise came in as well. Not to worry we are swapping to room 20 in the morning. We got up and had a fabulous breakfast (the coffee was awful, but I take my own just in case). We packed our stuff and as arranged the staff moved it to room 20 while we were out enjoying our day. We came back and went to room 20..oh dear..!
Firstly the decor was the same tired 1970's look, shabby sh* te! The show was a bit better (but not much) it took you a while to get wet! The bathroom had a lot of mould and the toilet was about 4" higher as someone had put a block under it. The windows were very heavy to lift and when you let go they came down like a guillotine, I am surprised that no-one has been injured. There appeared to be nothing to hold the bathroom window open apart from a dented bin..ah I see why it's dented! I used the toilet brush holder instead. The bedroom window was worse but at least we found the log from the fire to prop it open!
The double bed in this room had a "Lovers" Mattress.. yup the one's that everyone rolls to the middle! It was very lumpy and old as well. The plug socket on the dressing room table was fitted so low we couldn't get our hairdryer plug in it.
The carpet was new so there is a positive!
Once again the food was good and the staff polite and helpful.
There is a premier inn down the road which is cheaper. We paid £135 per night and it was worth about £20 per night.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Not a good hotel for hot weather. Sleepless night as really small and stuffy. Window has no screen and at street level. Liked the history of the place and the cute pub.
- Michael (4/5): Eat here don’t sleep here. - The staff were fantastic and very helpful. The food was also very good. The rooms were like stepping back in time to the 1970’s. Awful beds. Luke warm drippy showers. Plug sockets that you couldn’t get a plug in. Windows that won’t stay open without propping them up with a log.
Mouldy tiles in the bathroom. Lumpy beds. Tiny towels. Really was the worst room I’ve ever stayed in! At £135 I expected much better.
- Jerry (10/5): - In the middle of town with ample free parking, either right outside or a 5 mins walk away.
- Alison (10/5): Absolute gem of a hotel! - Absolute gem of a place! The place was quirky, clean and in a great location. The room was comfortable and spacious. The staff were really lovely, helpful and friendly. The breakfast was amazing on both days!
- Robert (8/5): - Car parking concession on street beside Dobbins inn
- JOHN (10/5): - Lots of history
- lisafK8014KR (2/5): Disgusted and saddened - This has took a while to wright on arriving we couldn't have asked for anymore service the receptionist was absolutely amazing. We arrived at 7.30pm left and returned almost 2am straight to bed and up and out for 9am . We had to ask for assistance with the shower on the morning this wasn't a problem to the house keeper again an amazing members of staff . On returning Saturday evening 9.30 I asked for help with a tv which wasn't working my reply from that receptionist staff was have you switched it on . As a family we don't know yet what we done to this person it turned out she was the owners daughter Kirsty .. now it takes a turn we knew how she was going to act but paying 2nights you expect a working tv . Now I tell no lies I am diagnosed ADHD and I am medicated for this with meflynate xl 20mg and also have a medi canni prescription I had rolled and left the building to smoke this medication which I had that an amazing chat with the house keeper she was aware of this . After asking for help I was then accused of smoking in our room . Which I hope wasn't the case because as well as no working tv there was no alarm if this was the case . There was member of staff to witness it all from the bar and she was shocked by the level of rudeness and how unprofessional actually making comments as to sorry I am only bar staff . In the end I was having my last cigarette of the evening when Kirsty then approached me again in an intimidating manor as to which I shouted up to my partner in our room so she would in fact leave me alone. Never once stating she was the owner or one of .. we have never been so intimated ever . Prior to only asking for help and accusations being made we had actually enquired as to a stay next year going by the staff we had and our experience prior to meeting Kirsty in the end . I had an 11 yr son with additional needs to which I shouldn't have to disclose in case of an absolutely vile woman . At 43 yrs of age I've never experienced anything like it over something so trivial and to which we had paid to be made feel how we did .. absolutely disgusting sad something that started out to be an absolutely amazing time ended with anxiety and sadness it did .. may I add the room was left to the same standards we arrived in because we are decent people in looking to take part and meeting like minded people and sadly instead of your awful daughter Derek fallis photos added so customers actually know who their dealing with a father and daughter with no point in complaining as to nothing will be done other than allowed .. just as well one rude woman didn't ruin our normal time spent with spent meeting new and amazing people
- Mary (10/5): - Everything was wonderful
- Clare (6/5): Friendly but shabby - The welcome was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really good, but the property felt run down and shabby. Our windows looked out onto a dirty fire escape and had no way to hold them open, but would not have been secure open anyway so room was hot. Sitting on the high square toilet was like an implement of torture. The mattresses were cheap and uncomfortable and could feel the springs and got bounced around by partner. Paint peeling off the walls. Carpet so thin and with no underlay. Cobwebs around ceiling. Very dated room with little to recommend it. Shower was powerful when the hot water eventually came through.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Overseas trip - We had a great few days at the Dobbins Inn. Breakfast had all the usual options and was perfect. We had dinner 2 of the nights and it was some of the best food we had on our trip. The rooms are dated but it's an old place and expected. The bed was comfortable, and the windows opened enough to control the temperature. Wi-Fi was available throughout the building. The car park is less than a 5-minute walk to the hotel.
- karendgould (4/5): Quite disappointing - My husband and I stayed here Saturday 19th for his birthday. The evening meal was disappointing.. mine was ok (the chicken stack) although a tad dry.. he got the roast of the day (chicken) .. the vegetables were so hard they were inedible.. my husbands meal was removed from our bill.. breakfast was awful,, tea and coffee made up in flasks and was luke warm at best.. 😞 sausage was horrible. Poached eggs cold and the crispy bacon as,stated in the menu was just cooked and lacked even a good colour and was as afar away from crispy as it could be. I actually asked for extra crispy. The rooms are dated without a doubt and need tidying up around grouting and tiling etc. definitely could do with a refurb but we had no issues with the room. It was clean and sufficed. The cleaner was also the waitress and server .. she works hard and done her best. Pleasant helpful staff.. didn’t complain about the breakfast as we had complained about the meal the night before and just couldn’t be bothered. But all in all wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t stay again. Sorry to be leaving this review but it is honest 😔
- James (6/5): - Service was okay, but place looks a bit tired and dated. Bed not particularly comfortable. No biscuits in the room.
- Debra (8/5): - Historic and cozy inn. Room was what I expected in a centuries old building adding to the charm of the town. Good Irish breakfast. Would stay there again if in the area.
- Caitlin (8/5): - The stay was lovely and the staff so helpful and friendly! Great location.
- Todd (2/5): - Old place no ac loud music poor service
- John (8/5): - The staff were wonderful but the property is dated in decor and condition. We had no hot water on the first morning which made showering a challenge. There are limited dining options available in the area and off site parking can be a problem. The complimentary breakfast is lovely.
- GRAHAM (10/5): - Interesting property. Great service and response from the people working there.
- Laura (8/5): - A superb family run hotel with wonderful and attentive staff, incredible food and very comfortable rooms in a charming old building. Only one small downside was the lack of water pressure in the shower.
- Kellym197941 (2/5): Poor quality of food not as described. - Dark and dingy restaurant in bar area not very big. The service was good the food is awful my daughter got the scampi and chips this was tasteless and wasn't very nice. I got the bbq chicken and cheese sandwich this is made with sliced chicken definitely out of a packet (like cheap) not as it states chicken breast very sweet and not very nice at all. I wouldn't recommend going here at all definitely will NOT be back.
- ALEJANDRO (10/5): - Great staff and surroundings. Breakfast was delicious and reasonable prices. I would stay again in this hotel
- Eric (10/5): - Dont stay aywhere else in Carrickfergus. Wonderful people. Wonderful food. Fantastic location
- billywL4358KQ (10/5): Shopping Trip Brunch - Called into Dobbins Inn. While on shopping visit to Carrickfergus on a monday morning, we were seated at table and both ordered tea/coffee along with a small fry each, our order came very soon after and was brilliant sausage ,bacon. egg potato bread, soda bread, and beans, and tea and coffee all included for both of us for just under £13, the INN was warm and cosy with a friendly woman who served our meals, lots of history all around the Bar area, regarding the Navy and merchant ships, glad we called by today and would highly recomend a call, we will be back and sample theyre huge menu they have too in the future, parking for car is a short walk away, and not expensive either, well done Dobbins.
- William (10/5): - Lovely old style inside giving it the historical side off an Inn
Staff so welcoming at all times
Hot Breakfast choice was great, could do with possibly some cold meat or cheese or yogurts
- JDeKer (10/5): The charm we wanted - Very well kept old building that is family owned. It's age is charming and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We stayed in Room 21 which is supposed to be haunted. We did seen an unexplained shadow and had unexplained battery drainage -- nothing scary. The reception area is small but the fireplace makes is cozy. The restaurant has a nautical theme and the food is very good. It's in a great location. When you walk out the front door, you are a block from Carrickfergus Castle and can see it. We parked on the street after 4pm and were sure to leave before 9am. There is a one hour grace period, free parking between 5pm and 8am. We took advantage of that free hour. Parking patrols do come by regularly. We had to carry luggage upstairs, but the manager helped us, and we left the bigger cases in the trunk of the car.
- J534VAkerryf (8/5): Good…different! - The location close to the waterfront was excellent.
This is a very old building, however it’s in good repair and the age adds to its charm.
The linen was good and the room size whilst small, was manageable.
It contained a tv, hair dryer and iron and board - which have been lacking in other establishments we’ve stated in over the past 5 weeks.
The receptionist was very friendly and helpful - and the complimentary cooked breakfast was excellent.
- Andrew (10/5): - Nice hotel great staff
- Thea (6/5): - The staff were utterly delightful and very helpful. The rooms are tired and lots of things need repairing. If you are there in a Saturday you may be able to attend a wedding from the comfort of your own room. It was like the DJ was in the en en-suite but it was quiet after 2300
- John (8/5): - Nice place, with some minor inconveniences:
-window to outside would not close and had a gap, letting in a lot of street noise from the bar across the street
-no air conditioning or even a fan...room was very stuffy
-lots of flies in the room, maybe from the open window?
-no hot water at sink
-no suitable surfaces for managing toiletries
But we knew this is an old building when we booked, so nothing that was a deal breaker.
- Ronald (8/5): - We stayed at this hotel for one night as a stopover before making our way to Scotland via ferry. The hotel is dated, much like most of the buildings in the area (we are from the United States and not adapted to older buildings.) Parking for hotel is in a public car park for Carrickfergus Castle across the road. No lifts available in hotel and rooms are upstairs. Overall, the room served the purpose for an overnight stay. The hot, made to order breakfast was delicious before checking out. Staff was friendly and helpful.
- Ruby37 (8/5): An excellent stay - We spent 2 nights here in room 12 ( reputably haunted) The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom spacious, however there wasn't much room between the wall and the bottom of the to pass through. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Plenty of parking a short walk away in a large free carpark by the castle.
The breakfasts were excellent with a lot of choice and plenty of food. We ate there one evening and that was also tremendous, the chowder being the best on our trip. Highly recommend.
- Andy (10/5): - Dobbins inn is such a beautiful place the staff are amazing and always there to helps with any needs cant wait to come back amazing place
- jeansZ5733KO (6/5): No lift to bedrooms! - Disappointing. No lift to bedroom (had to carry luggage up 2 flights of stairs). Very small bedroom, overlooking a brick wall. Wifi did not connect. No hot water.
Breakfast was tasty but selected was very limited.
I would not choose to stay here in future.
- Phil (10/5): - Awesome historic property! Location close to Carricksfergus Castle which was really interesting to tour.
- T (10/5): - This property offers old world charm in an old world neighborhood. The castle is a block away. The staff was super friendly and the dinner and breakfast meals were very good. If you can’t get parking on the street in front of the hotel, free parking is available at the harbor a block away. There is a loading/unloading area in front of the hotel.
- Kristen (6/5): - Staff was very sweet & was pretty cool to stay in a 500 y/o building. The room was very small & could use some freshening up, and there is no elevator.
- C (6/5): Ok Stay - Quirky little hotel, staff were very pleasant, everything ok.
- Jo (6/5): - Quirky but average accom.
Nice friendly staff
Quick checkin
Heating doesn’t come in till 6pm and goes off during night. Shower not that hot.
First time we stayed, the fire was on and it was warm n inviting, next visit the weather was colder but no fire
Bar maid screamed at a local which was long and unsettling
Bar is patrons by locals so it has a nice I timTe vibe
- Margaret (10/5): - Excellent
- Gulchan (10/5): - Excellent stay
- U3122GS (10/5): Superb pub grub in a beautiful historic setting - First time ever in this historic inn. So impressive as soon as you step inside with a roaring fire in their inglenook fireplace. All warm and cosy throughout with the old blackened paving stones and having to hunch over to walk around due to the low ceilings. Service was quick and friendly. Food was high quality pub grub, tasty, modern and generous. A first bit not last visit.
- Dr James (10/5): - Lovely old hotel with a friendly ghost.
Log fires in reception and bar area.
Staff very friendly and helpful
- Joanne (6/5): Shortstay for business - Nice food, friendly helpful staff.
Room was smaller than expected and cramped.
And the mattress was very uncomfortable, not much sleep, which was not great when here to work long days.
- Craig (6/5): A little bit disappointed - No towels in room. Cobwebs in the light fitting
- Paul (10/5): Ticks all the boxes - Nice neat and tidy room, everything worked. Easy check in/out. Tasty breakfast. Good location.
- Martin (10/5): Weekend away - Weekend away with my wife, stayed here before, rooms are lovely, had dinner downstairs in the restaurant / bar, it was fantastic
- James (10/5): - Wonderful stay, lovely staff
- Anna (10/5): - The room we were in had a gorgeous view of the castle! The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The bathroom looked recently remodeled. It is an old building so the floor was uneven; and the day we went was windy so the walls seemed to move with the wind- but that is to be expected in an old building. The one thing I will note is that there was a pub right below and you could hear people talking outside of it for quite a bit into the night. However it didn’t ruin the experience and we had quite a nice time. Would recommend.
- Patrice (10/5): - Service was great!
- David (10/5): - The location was central to everything in the area
- Rory (6/5): - The only problem, as such, was there was no hot water in the room what so ever. Not ideal, but the rest of the facilities were good.
- 407jod (10/5): Cosy stay - Visiting family in the area, I stayed at the Dobbins for only one night. I checked in quiet late as I flew in the same evening. My room was clean, cosy and warm for my arrival. Although brrakfast was included, I didnt have this as I was meeting family close by. Nice little establishment and I'd love to stay again and learn more about the history.
- Kimberly (4/5): -
TV shuts off and so does the internet. Or the TV has volume but no picture. Staff fixes and later it is down again, this happened the entire two nights.Parking is on street and subject to tickets. I had to go to the bar to use my laptop, a beer is 6 pounds. I went to the pub across the street for great internet and 2 pound beers.
- joshua (10/5): - Super awesome staff. Friendly with such a cool pub right next to the lobby. Short walk to train that takes you into Belfast. Easy parking close by for free. Only down side was room booked was small as was the bathroom. But good size room if traveling with family as it would be good for the kids. Still would stay here again
- Kathryn (10/5): - Lovely wee break easy to get too staff really friendly and food was excellent
- Mark (10/5): - Front office staff was incredibly attentive and responsive and multitasked well. Onsite restaurant was convenient and the meals were great.
- Mike (10/5): - Great property in a convenient location for access to the castle, bars and more. Wonderful staff and great bar. the breakfast was wonderful!
- Annemie (10/5): - Wonderfully charming inn with lots of character and history. We had a nice chat with the very friendly innkeeper/bartender (we forgot to ask her name) and she also helped us to find a place for dinner in town since we arrived after their restaurant had closed. The room was on the small side but efficient and clean with a large ensuite bathroom. There is no lift so this may be less suited for older travelers or travelers with limited mobility. We greatly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend
- FarAway30591628341 (10/5): Beautiful northern Ireland carrickfergus - Absolutely loved this inn so much history lovely staff cannot do enough for you the food is fantastic the roast of the day was pork when we were there 14th October 2024 and I just had to eat the lot I was stuffed beautiful and the gravy I have never tasted one so good don't even bother with the weather spoons across the road have quality food at Dobbins inn you will not be disappointed the beds are so comfortable and the pillows and a cracking price carrickfergus has such a lot to see with larne and Belfast close what more could you want not far for game of thrones fans to for the filming locations a must to do
- Mrs mandy (10/5): - Absolutely loved it staff all friendly food fantastic and a good price would definitely stay here again I even was given a cup of coffee by the night reception think his name was Alan at 4 in the morning when my sister could not sleep for my snoring so I went downstairs and stayed up had a walk around carrickfergus to catch up on memories fantastic stay a must is a roast dinner pork with the gravy yummy
- Theresq (10/5): - The property was central in Carrickfergus and very close to the castle. Value for money. The beds were very comfortable. I will definitely go back.
- Gwen (10/5): - Building was dated 1530 but they had done a great job making it comfortable with out losing it's character
- Barbara (8/5): Nice stay with good breakfast - For us it was about location. Good breakfast. It is an older establishment so expect things like a gap between the door and the frame to let light in from hallway and a smaller room. Clean. Staff was very conscientious.
- Judy (10/5): Amazing staff - What a wonderful place to stay! The staff were incredibly helpful and pleasant! Would highly recommend staying here.
- JIM (10/5): - A big, big thank you to the wonderful staff! So kind and helpful.
- I704BEpaulh (6/5): First time to visit - The Inn is Steeped in history and has nice old features. We arrived and when we went to our room it hadn't been prepared. Lady at reception did swap us over to another room. The evening meal was absolutely lovely. The bathroom could do with a wee bit of attention/spruce ( sink wasn't draining freely and toilet seat was wonky) up and no facility to increase thermostat heat in room. The heating wasn't on, so room was a bit cold. Bed was cosy. Breakfast for 3star was a bit light on (continental) options, but cooked food was very tasty.
- MARTIN (8/5): - Although this is a quaint old hotel there are some features that older travelers may not like. First there is no lift in this hotel, so unless you get a room on the bottom floor, you will be lugging your bags up some very narrow stairs. The hallways were narrow passageways to a small room; the door did not have a traditional handle, only a deadbolt-latch on the inside. It had a “hostel” vibe about the room. Downstairs was a tired version of old-world pub. The staff was friendly and understanding when we requested a cancellation/refund on our 3rd floor room
- kimberly (10/5): - Very nice for it being made years ago but nice the breakfast was great dinner wasn’t so hot and the reception was very helpful ❤️
- John (10/5): - Staff were great! Breakfast was nice. Location is perfect either to escape Belfast, or for a start to the Causeway Coastal Route. Beautiful surroundings, and walkable to both public transit and the sites of Carrickfergus
- Colin (10/5): - Great nights sleep comfy bed. Breakfast service and food excellent. We stayed Room 14 no view but was perfectly quiet and what we where looking. Over all stay was excellent.
- Fiona (10/5): - Lovely staff, very quiet and clean
- Richard (10/5): - Nice historic hotel with friendly, helpful staff.
- Candy (8/5): - Excellent location. Staff was helpful, welcoming, efficient, and always available. Room was clean and set up as we requested. Only negative is that the bar can get a bit noisy, but we weren't bothered much by it. We did enjoy a delicious meal at the bar. Across the street is another bar which also can get a bit noisy, including setting off fireworks in the street. Since the noise only lasted a short time, less than 15 minutes, it was not worth complaining about to the manager. Overall, I'd recommend this property to anyone visiting the castle or the downtown area. When I return, I will definitely book again.
- andy (6/5): - Very central location in Carrickfergus and great food. Unfortunately our stay was ruined because we were in a room above their function room and it was VERY noisy on our first night. Because of this we would not stay again.
- Dawn (10/5): - The staff is amazing, the location perfect and the cozy building a delight.
- Alan (8/5): - Running hot water very slow. Staff pleasant and helpful.
- Lauren (8/5): - Propery was a little dated but close to attractions and staff was very friendly!
- Bruce (6/5): - Room very small and no parking at property
- Daniel (10/5): - Hotel was really clean but it’s a little dated that’s the only “issue”, staff were really friendly and the breakfast was lovely
- Timothy (8/5): - Fun old Inn on the coast and in view of castle - friendly staff and delicious breakfast options
- geraldine (10/5): - Cute.cozy and friendly
- Gary (10/5): Recommend it - We had a great time and the staff were very friendly and helpful they made us feel welcome
- Max (6/5): - Lovely location, right in the centre of castle rock, great view of the castle! Staff welcoming and friendly, great advice on nearby car parks, I would say our room, number 5, the beds were very springy and hard and pillows very hard too, in my opinion, other than that, good spot if needing somewhere to stay for a night.
