• Tia (4/5): Disappointing - While the hotel looks centrally located, it is down a charmless side street, next to a wedding venue that is incredibly loud in the evenings. The front desk staff was friendly, they were initially unable to help with most problems (shower not working, etc) and when they said they’d send someone, I inevitably had to follow up twice. The kitchen restaurant (and “pool”) is located in a charmless basement, and kitchen staff was downright rude and argumentative when asked for room service, which was supposed to be standard. Bellboys expected to be tipped for doing nearly nothing, and the desk clerk wouldn’t allow me to pay for incidentals with a credit card because “he needed cash.” All in all, a disappointment.

• Kev (5/5): Although clean and comfortable I would not stay again due to position and too much noise - The staff were helpful and polite, food in the restaurant was very good. The first night there was so much noise with constant banging of doors and music playing until 1am I didn’t get much sleep as had to be up at 6am, the pool was very unclean and not able to swim. There was no hot water on the first night or in the morning 2nd day, this was rectified when mentioned at reception.

• Sharon (3/5): I would not recommend this hotel - The room was ok, bed comfortable The room smelt damp when I first went in. mould on the bathroom ceiling. no apology was given and I had to ask to be moved. Due to the swimming pool the hotel had a damp smell. The pool did not look clean and was next to the restaurant. When you first went into the hotel it seemed ok but it was very grubby in places. Definitely not worth the money

• Deepti (1/5): It was pathetic service and pathetic hotel. - We booked two rooms on dated 07/01/2023 in RS 7250 and checked in at 11 pm. They allotted us room number 101 and 102 which were not even close to any boutique hotel as they mentioned. My parents were with us and they are at their old age. As January is very cold we asked for extra blanket they didn’t consider our request and said that they will arrange, also called their manager and asked him too but also ignored our request. TV was also not working, As this high price point we expected better service, taj villa is pathetic not even closed to 1500 rupee hotel room. we are disappointed and any other person visiting there will be disappointed. They are looters kindly avoid booking such hotels, either go for some low budget hotel or else book Radisson.

Especially conversations with restaurant guys named Dilip sharma, Paras verma. 2. Reception gave us early check in at 10.15pm after waiting for 1 hour. Very impressed. 3. Hotel staff is very polite, smiling face & professional. 4. Tomato coriander soup is a must try for everyone. 5.Dinner was delicious so don’t go out for dinner. 6.Rooms interior is beautiful. Bathrooms are spacious rarely to find in 3 stars hotel but interior needs improvement. Area’s of Improvement : 1. They didn’t have body wash small bottle. Only shampoo & moisturiser. 2.We received Wardrobe hangers of different types😊. 3.For early check in they will ask to pay Rs1000 which I think every hotel ask in agra. 4.Breakfast needs improvement They use less salt. Limited varieties for the breakfast. Same breakfast was there on 1st & 3rd day. 5.You have to do laundry payment instantly. So not allowed during check out. 5.Swimming pool is not clean & maintained. 6.Sometimes hot water in bathroom takes long time to come so have patience.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Needs improvement. - The road to the hotel is broken down and the next lot has brick shacks next to it. The swimming pool is not a pool but a small bathing area next to their restaurant. There was a small film of something on the pool and it needs to have a filter running all the time. It may be usable. The first floor rooms can hear everything going on outside in the hallways. They have to damper the first floor somehow. Maybe put a glass door between reception the first floor rooms. That will stop the noise. Also you can hear all the door slamming in the hotel - they need to put a door hinge to slow the doors closing so they don’t shut so loud. Lastly, they are not on the main road. Because if that the road they are on is dirty. I would suggest cleaning and leveling that road even if they don’t want to incur the cost - otherwise the location will become a big issue.
• Keziah (6/5): - The hotel is down a back alley and quite far from the sights. (Taj Mahal, fort etc) The whole hotel smells of bleach which I think is from the pool area (which is covered in dust from the road, and the pumps on display are covered in algae) The restaurant is behind the pool area, again everything is covered with dust from the road and resembles a sort of cave. Rather cold, Stark, univiting and a bit dirty. Don’t bother with the roof terrace it’s clearly used by staff as a dumping ground. The room was clean and comfortable enough (good hot water and tea facilities) We had a room at the front which was very noisey from what I presume was a local club and the temple (which was nice to wake up to) Our pillows were filthy and the towels could of been cleaner. The food was ok, not the best I have had in India. We only stayed for one night and asked for a driver to our next destination and the manager definitely took his cut!!! For one night it was ok at most The staff were very friendly and helpful though
