• Rebecca (10/5): Excellent accommodation in the centre of Dublin - Staff are so friendly, room was clean and secure. Such good value for money. Absolutely nothing but compliments for this place! Just be aware this hostel is in a busy street so can be noisy but to be expected from a city centre location.

The pillow is wafer thin, very uncomfortable. Location seems to be in a highly policed area, heard sirens all night long

• Greys (7/5): Cumple su función de Hostel, pequeños detalles podrían mejorar la experiencia. - La ubicación es privilegiada. Muy céntrico. Se puede ir andando a muchos sitios. Además está bien comunicado con el transporte público. Las camas eran cómodas. Sabanas limpias. Cocina compartida muy limpia. Personal agradable. Nuestra habitación tenía poca luz. El interruptor del baño tenía fallos. Tuvimos una gotera en el baño. Pequeños detalles como colocar una estantería dentro de la ducha (para colocar jabón, champú) aunque sea un pequeño detalle, podría mejorar la comodidad y elevar la habitación.
• Anastasia (9/5): Super good memory. - I loved the design of the hostel, it was very interactive. From the map and pins of the origins of the travelers of the hostel, to the leprechaun key chain for the locker room, and the friendly staff playing guitar in the evening.
• Keshia (8/5): Great location, great for a short stay! - i liked the employees, they were so friendly and nice. Really wanted the guests to have the best time and meet others. The location was perfect perfect perfect. Some people reported their outlets not working in the rooms. I didn’t have that thankfully. Otherwise the rooms are tight, not a lot of space or a full body mirror. but that’s okay!

• Fabiana (4/5): - La posizione Mi dispiace che il soggiorno non sia stato molto piacevole in quanto c’era una signora in stanza malata, probabilmente dimessa da un ospedale e non stava tanto bene, si lamentava dal dolore e di notte entrava e usciva dalla stanza e non riuscivamo a dormire. Forse dovrebbero esserci più controlli su chi ospitano in struttura.

• HUIYI (9/5): - Not recommended!!!!! To whoever stole my food and even had the nerve to put the empty packaging back in my bag — I left you a little “gift” in return. That curse talisman I hid somewhere in your place should’ve started working by now. I’d suggest getting yourself to a hospital ASAP… otherwise, well. On another note, I really liked the receptionist who enjoys singing. He was genuinely lovely, and I wish him all the best.

• Ana (9/5): - Great location, pleasant and helpful staff. I felt very safe as a female traveler. Bus stop in front of the hostel, all main attractions close. The room was cleaned every day. Full kitchen with storage - great for traveling on a budget. Would recommend and stay again! My room was overlooking the street, with traffic at night. Not a big deal, just something to be mindful of.

Comfortable beds and hot shower There was a lot of mold and water damage to the shower and the floor tiles in the bathroom- if you’re sensitive to mold you might want to make sure your unit doesn’t have mold. Also the street noise was pretty loud in the room (3rd floor on a Friday night)
• Tina (6/5): Basic accommodation close to all that central Dublin has to offer - Ashfield Hostel boasts a central location, close to Trinity College, and the city's (main) o'Connell Street, each within a 5 minute walk! It is also near to any number of pubs and cafés, and to the night-life at Temple Bar. Check-in staff, Conor and Chris, were both helpful and friendly, and guests can access the ground floor kitchens and fridge, even at night. -In the 6-bed dorm, I realised guests must fit the sheets and duvet-cover themselves, not an easy task when one can't reach the corners from the ground, and the lower bunk has an occupant ! The three 2-bed bunks in my room were placed very close together so they'd fit in the available space; this could be awkward when the guests aren't in one group/ known to each other. There was an ensuite bathroom, though this did not have a window. The bedroom window looked onto an office-block wall. The bunk itself was comfortable enough, though it would be better if the space wasn't so tight. Too many bunks packed into small dormitory space. This may be how the hostel offers competitive rates, yet guests would have a superior experience ( and a better impression of Dublin), if dorms had a little more space per person, allowing guests to feel less hemmed-in !

• Regenbogenschnecke (10/5): Perfect location to explore Dublin - Fantastic location (the number 16 bus from the airport stopped right outside the door of the hostel), great staff (absolutely loved the live music from the guy at reception in the evenings), free hot beverages. Stayed three nights in an 8 bed dorm, and would stay again. As the hostel is located right in the city centre, I’d advise you bring some ear plugs to get a quiet night. The bathroom was very small, and you can’t open the shower door fully. Ireland - in general - got very expensive. Considering that a bed in an 8 room dorm cost €20 per night five years ago, and now costs €60 per night is shocking!

Pavimento scricchiolante così chi entra e vuole fare piano comunque non può. Prese sopra la testa molto scomode. Struttura molto vecchia in generale. Qualità/prezzo sproporzionata.

• TAMAMI (7/5): ダブリン満喫 - 2月下旬にツインルームに宿泊。 ロケーションが非常に良い。 スタッフがフレンドリー。 部屋にバスタオルがあった。 フリードリンクコーナーのホットチョコレートがおいしいやつ。 ロビーに貼ってある世界地図の日本に記載されている都市名がマニアックで面白い。 部屋は狭いけれどこぢんまりとして居心地がいい。 窓の高さとベッドの高さが同じだったのでベッドに寝転んで下を走るバスや通りを歩く人を眺めるのが楽しかった。 フロントで借りたドライヤーの風量が強くて良かった。 チェックイン後部屋に入ったら、ベッドサイドテーブルにパン屑が散らばっていた。引き出しに前の宿泊者の名前が書いてある紙が入ったままだった。 別の日には、空になった掃除用洗剤のボトルが私のスーツケースの上に置いたままになっていた。

Both times the power sockets were not working at all, and neither did in most of the beds. In 2026 this is a big deal. Fortunately the person at reception was really nice and helpful and solved it for me both times, but the hostel manager/owner needs to take this into account.
• Ana (9/5): Repetiría - Me sorprendió que te limpian la habitación cada día y te cambian de toallas, cosa que otros hostales no hacen a diario. El baño muy limpio y, además, tienes los productos de limpieza si necesitas una limpieza extra. Las camas son bastante cómodas y tienen luz y enchufe en cada cama. La ubicación es perfecta, justo alado de varias paradas de autobús, incluso el que va al aeropuerto. Muy satisfecha. Se escuchaba el ruido de la calle, pero nada exagerado para estar en una calle tan concurrida.

• Natalya (9/5): I would definitely return to this place as it is clean, friendly and convenient. - Perfectly clean for huge actual people-flow, very friendly staff, well-organized processes. I felt safe despite many strangers around. The location is extremely beneficial, you can reach many places of interest feet. And what was the most impressive is the cleanliness of shared kitchen and kitchen stuff. A bit of queue at check-in but that's understandable
