Es wir auch beim Frühstück jeder Wunsch erfüllt, egal was man möchte Eier, Sandwich, Müsli, Früchte etc. Badetücher sind genügend da die man auch an die Strände mitnehmen kann. Täglich frisches Wasser und Handtücher. Oberhalb 200m gab es ein gutes Restaurant No 6. Es gab nichts, was uns nicht gefallen hat.9
- Dazzamcnabb007 (5/5): Read before you decide - The room was spacious The accommodation is marketed as a 4-star property; however, several aspects fell significantly short of this standard. Room and Facilities The room itself was generously sized but felt dated and in need of modernisation. Essential in-room amenities were missing or inadequate for a 4-star rating, including no kettle (which had to be requested), no bathrobe, and no slippers. The bathroom jacuzzi tub was not drained after use. It remained full of water for three days without being emptied or addressed by housekeeping, despite visible neglect. Used gel bottles from previous guests were left in the bathroom and never removed. Basic housekeeping was consistently substandard: a used cup was left untouched on the side, and when a shirt was deliberately left on the floor as a test, staff swept around it but did not pick it up or clean properly. Cleaning Standards Housekeeping appeared to perform only the bare minimum—making the bed and a cursory sweep of the floor—without thorough cleaning or attention to detail. This level of service does not align with 4-star expectations. Accessibility and Location Issues The property is situated on a steep 18% gradient, which may pose significant difficulties for guests with mobility issues (e.g., bad knees or back problems). There is no complimentary shuttle service to/from the base of the hill, requiring guests to take an expensive taxi for even short trips. While the room offered space and certain features (such as the jacuzzi), the combination of outdated facilities, poor housekeeping, missing amenities, and accessibility challenges resulted in an experience well below 4-star standards.

The views are absolutely incredible — some of the best views of Phuket, especially from the resort, truly unforgettable. What made the experience even better were the workers and staff. Everyone was kind, welcoming, and always ready to help us with anything we needed, making us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay. If you’re looking for a clean, well-managed place with breathtaking views and warm, helpful people, Prince Edouard is an excellent choice. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it. On y retrouve le charme et l’authenticité Thaïlandaise avec des meubles typiques mais aussi tout le confort moderne. Le meilleur : la vue !! La piscine est calme et parfaite pour se détendre durant la journée. Nous avons aussi apprécié la gentillesse et serviabilité du personnel. The breakfast options are not meeting our expectations of providing variety of meals. Moreover there’s no GYM to do exercise since it’s 4 star hotel should maintain the minimum standard of luxury lifestyle.

The resort was miles away from the beach and main area of Patong, to walk was difficult heading into town, as it was near vertical drop walking down the road, walking back was impossible unless you are into fitness. No taxi or tuk tuk drivers had any idea where the resort was located, hot water was almost no existent and I was electrocuted trying to connect the kettle into the wall, no apologies given just a different kettle and that was that. And the resort is located in a Muslim area, so every 4 to 5 hours from 4:30am they would play their payers over the town P.A, until 8pm.

- Simon (1/5): Very bad experience in Phuket - The staff is very helpful This is not a 4-stars hotel, on many fronts: no on-site restaurant (you have to climb a steep narrow street with no sidewalk to a "partner" restaurant, and you can't "bill the room" from there; and let's not think about the rainy season when you would get soaked on the way, luckily for us, it's summer now). Elevator not available to the breakfast room and our room/apartment had stairs to the bedrooms floor, even though the description says elevator to all locations. The maintenance state of our room was terrible: only 1 shower with glass, the other two with no glass or curtain, water splashing all over), 1 toilet not flushing, no vents in any of the bathrooms (bugs and other insects come right at you if you dare open the small window), tiles broken close to some of the power outlets (especially the ones in the bathrooms). Noisy AC in the 2 bedrooms.

- Devitt (1/5): Like Hell on Earth,,, - Worst hotel experience in my entire travelimg life, Paid 40,000 thai bahts to Booking.com or 14 nights and triple checked that payment was processed, Got there and checked in went to room and 10 minutes later the Police were at my door because payment was refused by mistake, Had to pay 3000 bahts for 1 night and leave next morning, Treated me like criminal for no reason payment was good next day, Place is ugly old moldya nd in middle of nowheere on dirty street full of smelly garbage, Avoid this hotel at all costs,,,

- Janine (9/5): Perfect for starting and ending your day up in the peace of the forest, away from the noise and bustle. - The resort is very authentic Thai style in every way. It’s located up a steep winding lane which would be a challenging walk for sure. The beds were firmer than I’m used to, but apart from that, we thoroughly enjoyed being there. The view down over Karong and Patong was beautiful and the surroundings were so peaceful in the morning. The staff are incredibly friendly and I recommend Prince Edouard. Nothing we didn’t like. Different to what we’d get at home and we embraced the difference.

- Fatima (7/5): It could be much nicer if the staff was treated better (they sleep in very small rooms without A/C) - The place itself (appartment, location) and the magnificent staff The owner should take more care of the cleaning staff. They are VERY GOOD professionals and WONDERFUL people. In enchange, the sleep in very small rooms without air conditioning. This has to be changed immediatly. It is just not fair!! Also the fact that from time to time there are very impolite guests that disturb others dirving their motorbike in the pool area or using the pool in hours not allowed for that. Nobody from the hotel says anything to them. Again, it is the responsibility of the owner to change this. It is not fair for the rest of the guests. Our matress was very old and unconfortable. The owner should consider changing the matresses.
- Andrew (7/5): Quiet on a Hillside - Fast check-in, not in your face service, host Anasura available if any issues by phone, room/apt was huge, cool, smart TV, good WiFi, wide window/door frontage, chairs + loungers × 2, quiet, up the hill (good aerobic exercise), swimming pool, kitchen facilities for self catering, No. 6 restaurant 100m up hill and breakfast inc. eggs any style, toast, butter/jam, water melon, tea/coffee and yoghurt. Bottom of hill 7/11 & before end on right outdoor shop selling beer anytime vs. restricted hours. Bathroom and related fittings probably due for renewal due wear and tear, decor etc. fine.

Quiet and away from the madness of Patong. Clean and safe for the children. Breakfast is monotonous, easy to mix it up a bit maybe change the fruit day to day, put a special on etc.
- Merlin (8/5): Lovely facilities, clean and best views - The view from the balcony of Patong was one of the best. Facilities in the apartment were excellent. Small problem with water drainage in the shower. The hill to the hotel is probably one of the steeprst hills in the world. Lucky it isnt too long but it is scary.
- Ameya (7/5): Beautiful property with a difficult approach. - The view from my room was amazing. The pool was clean and the room itself was spacious. We didn’t have a kettle on property & the road up to the hotel is a winding hill road which is almost impossible to climb. We always needed a car/bike to get up.

- Paula (8/5): Helt OK!! - Jätte fint och mysigt hotell uppe i bergen. Gick ENDAST en gång upp för den gigantiska backen första dagen sen aldrig mer,vart tuktuk restwn av veckan 300 bath från patong. Dom körde ner en gratis på dagarna,tror bilen åkte ca 4-5 om dagen vissa klockslag. Härlig pool som barnen älskade att bada i, stora fona rum med en fantastiks utsickt. Så i helhelt är vi nöjda.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Great staff but too expensive for what it offers - First some congratulations to the very kind staff, always smiling and helpful. The Hotel is situated on the top of a steep hill of Patong, a little off centered from the town, but it is a calm area and with a gorgeous view on sunsets, and new year eve's astonishing fireworks. Free shuttle to town at noon, 2, 4, 6 and 8 pm. One at 10 am would be ideal. For a hotel in that price range, few things were disappointing or below standards: * breakfast really did not show much variety and was always the same: egg, bacon, sausages, pancakes, with white square bread, small industrials croissants, two types of yogourt, fruits and salad. One type of sugary "juice". Really below standard for such an hotel in Thailand. * Bedroom: advertised with two bedrooms with giant beds. One is indeed as such, the other is more like a large closet, with nothing more than a medium size bed and a cupboard, no windows and 20 cm on each side of the bed. Very difficult to move around, and no plugs at the head of the bed. * Kitchen: microwave did not work; very little kitchenware, not enough cuttlery, plates etc... There is a very affordable restaurant, "number 6" just next door which make it easy to have lunch or diner and one does not want to go to town. * Swimming pool has three depths. The water quality was however way below standard, it was not clear (would barely see bottom in the deep area, and really had a bad taste. Probably due to the daily training of diver in wet suit and lack of water change.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The staff are really friendly and helpful, it is a very quiet place and most enjoyable. I would stay there again The view and grounds are fab TVS need upgrading.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Nice views. Very big and spacious rooms.decent amenities. The hotel is in the top of a very very very steep hill. Difficulty getting transport to location at night. Property a bit run down and old, had a leaking ceiling with water dripping down, advised staff who just cut a hole in the ceiling. Daily shuttle is non-existent.
- Eve (8/5): Très bonne expérience - Personnel très gentil, Hotel charmant à 2mn du centre ville, mais ambiance préservée et calme, très jolie vue. Service impeccable et personnel toujours à l'écoute de vos demandes. Seul bémol, les équipements de la salle de gym n'ont pas servi depuis longtemps. J'y retournerai sans hésiter. Merci encore à toute l'équipe.

- Laura (10/5): Albergo molto carino lontano dal caos del centro - Camera molto spaziosa con cucina e salotto bagno grande e nuovo unico situato un po' in collina per arrivarci salita ripida hotel per chi cerca la quiete nel centro di patong... colazione essendo una piccola gestione da riguardare leggermente però se chiedi ti accontentano .. personale gentilissimo

- Pierre (8/5): Un séjour serein loin du bruit à Patong ! - Week-end de Saint Valentin consacré à la plongée. Nous avons apprécié la tranquilité de l'endroit (être reveilles par le chant des oiseaux) loin du bruit perpetual des quartiers chauds de Patong, la vue surplombant la baie, la taille de la chambre, la piscine et le service de navette gratuite pour le centre ville. Bien que le petti déjeuner ne commence officiellement qu'à 8:00, on nous a propose un service avancé si besoin, ce qui fut le cas et nous avons pu être servis à 6:45. Seule petite ombre au tableau: le Jacuzzi totu neuf mais qui ne fonctionne pas (ou plutot la plomberie de ce dernier qui fuit et nous avons préféré éviter l'innondation et renoncer à son usage) Etre résumé un bon rapport qaulité prix et nous reviendrons sans l'ombre d'un doute.
