• philip (10/5): - We stayed in a pool villa, the standard was very high & extremely clean. The hosts were amazing, friendly & polite. This is a family business & you could feel that with the care & attention. The food was very good indeed with healthy portion sizes. The views of the ocean & mountains are idyllic.You need a car if you want to go outside of the property, there are some nice beaches & small fishing ports only a few minutes drive away or Stoupa is 15 minutes if you want a little more hustle & bustle, for us this was a very busy beach & we avoided it.

• Petronella (8/5): - De accomaodatie was goed, buitenkant erg mooi, kamers waren goed, alles erop en aan. Badkamer was iets minder, douche gordijn aan de onderkant beschimmeld, toilet bleef vaak doorlopen, douchputje vol met zeepresten, deur van de douche onderkant nat geweest en helemaal uitgezet. Zo jammer van het complex, als het bijgehouden was zou het echt super zijn. Personeel was Top! die stonden altijd voor je klaar altijd vrolijk en beleefd. Bij het zwembad elke dag schone badlakens. Bar bij het zwembad dus je kon altijd iets eten of drinken. Ontbijt was prima en in buffetvorm. Al met al hebben wij genoten en er zijn altijd wel wat minpuntjes maar we hebben het naar ons zin gehad. Wel heb je een auto nodig het complex ligt hoog.

• Romain (10/5): - Très bel établissement ! Nous y avons séjourné une nuit pendant l’été. L’emplacement est top, au calme tout en restant proche des activités et commerces. Les chambres sont très bien entretenue et bien équipée. L’accueil a été parfait, mention spéciale pour Athena, toujours avec un grand sourire et de bons conseils. La piscine est superbe et n’hésitez pas à prendre le petit déjeuner, très copieux avec des produits fait maison. Bref, superbe établissement avec un superbe personnel !

Das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Frühstück ausserordentlich- vielseitig, frische Produkte, Obst, Gemüse, frischer Orangensaft, selbst gebackene Pasteten, Kuchen, selbst gemachte Marmeladen! und noch vieles mehr- alles was das Herz begehrt und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Schöner Pool, schöne Liegen am Pool, unter Bäumen oder direkt am Strand. Sehr schöner und grosser Sandstrand! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut - auch beim Dinner! • Esther (10/5): Beautiful vacation - Beautiful resort and view. Kinda hard to find and road is pretty rough and narrow. Room was nice and breakfast was great. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were pretty hard, those could have been better. Take your own washcloth if you use one, they don’t use them there. The pool was nice and warm and nice. I’d definitely stay again!

• Bart (10/5): - Nice small resort with a beautiful pool. Very nice people, always ready to help. Pool towels are provided, nice bar, very good breakfast with enough place to sit outside. We had a very nice room, seaview, with a small kitchen. It is a 35 minute walk to Agios Nikolaos (downhill), with enough restaurants to choose from. Nice small harbour, a bit touristy but far more authentic than touristic resort Stoupa. We loved our Stay in Rigklia/Agios Nikolaos.
• Kari (10/5): - Anaxo Resort isn’t super easy to get to but it is well worth the effort. It’s not hard to get to really, the road is a little narrow and windy but manageable It is a gorgeous place. The rooms are equipped with a small kitchen and the beds and showers are super comfy. The staff is great - super friendly and helpful. The pool and the bar are fantastic.

Fräsch pool, fina rum med havsutsikt och solnedgång. Tyst, lugnt och skönt om man är ute efter det! Toppenställe 10/10 poäng.

• Sara Lee Steig (10/5): I could stay here a month - Our second stay at Anaxo and love it here. Laurel room is our favorite with separate bedroom, living room and two patios. Very comfortable. Breakfast is delicious! Plenty of free parking. Lovely pool (a little too cold to use it during our stay) and a poolside bar/restaurant. Staff are very helpful and friendly, especially the women at breakfast and housekeeping. Close to Stupa and Kardamyli. Katerina’s Market in Stupa is the best for those wanting self-catering or to pick up some local specialities or sundries. Only request is to add a few more things to the kitchen supplies: dish towel/paper towels for clean up, a sharp knife for cutting vegetables, and a kettle for tea. Would return here in a heartbeat and hope to return again soon!

• Michael (8/5): Super aber Laut! - Wir sind zum dritten Mal hier und es war wieder sehr schön. Leider hat der Besitzer am letzten Tag den Geburtstag seiner Tochter unter unserem Apartment gefeiert oder zumindest viel Lärm gemacht so dass wir sehr gestört waren. Das fand ich nach den bisherigen Erfahrungen ziemlich Rücksichtslos. Schade.
• Konstantinos (10/5): - We had the most amazing stay at Anaxos Resort. The suite was large clean and comfortable. The pool was very nice and breakfast delivered to your room was excellent. The surrounding area including Stoupa Kardamyli GB and the beaches were fantastic but the best part of the stay were the people particularly George and Maria who were genuinely wonderful but also attended to every need and beyond. We will definitely be back. Great find.
• Wilma ros de (10/5): - Zeer nette, rustig gelegen accomodaties met een heerlijk zwembad. Keuze ontbijt word op de kamer geserveerd en bij de bar zijn drankjes en maaltijden te bestellen.Een auto is wel een must. De kamers zijn netjes ingericht en worden dagelijks schoon gemaakt. Personeel vriendelijk en de eigenaar behulpzaam op ieder gebied. Kortom wij hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad in anaxo resort, voor herhaling vatbaar. Een dikke 10.

• Alex (10/5): - Very friendly welcome when we arrived at this handsome property. Plenty of parking all around the main building. Area is quiet and safe. Everything in & around the hotel is in excellent condition and kept clean.
• Petra (10/5): Perfekter Aufenthalt auf der Mani - + Service am Pool, grandioses Schwimmbecken, Frühstück, Freundlichkeit aller Servicekräfte, große Zimmer, tolle Aussicht, schöner Balkon, auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung! - Das Zimmer war sehr groß und hatten eine kleine Küche mit dem Nötigsten. Das Bad ist recht klein und die Dusche mit Duschvorhang, also war vorsichtiges Duschen angesagt. Leider hatten wir ein Zimmer erwischt, indem vorher starke Raucher waren und der Gestank einfach in den Möbeln und Vorhängen hin. Für uns als absolute Nichtraucher nicht so angenehm, aber dem Rauchen gegenüber ist man in Griechenland sehr tolerant, also müsst ihr selbst bewerten, ob diese Info für euch positiv oder negativ ist. Bis auf diese Kleinigkeiten war alles perfekt!

• Pamela (8/5): peaceful Anaxo - A non fussy hotel. Quite minimalist but good out door space. We had the family suite with three balconies. Rooms a good size. Room for improvement on the breakfasts. Cooked I believe very good but the fruit was dry and the pasties too sickly. Muesli could have been a bit more interesting. Outside space good. Adequate bar and lovely swimming pool area. Ate at the bar one night which was delicious.
• Christos (10/5): Υπέροχο! - Το επισκεφτήκαμε μόνο μια μέρα στο τέλος των διακοπών μας και υπήρξε παραπάνω από μια ευχάριστη έκπληξη. Ήσυχη τοποθεσία σε κοντινή απόσταση από βασικούς προορισμούς π.χ Άγιο Νικόλαο, Στούπα, Καρδαμύλη. Τα δωμάτια πολύ μεγάλα και καθαρά, οι φωτογραφίες ανταποκρίνονται στην πραγματικότητα. Υπέροχη θέα!!! Μεγάλη και καθαρή πισίνα και άνετο πάρκινγκ. Το πρωινό πεντανόστιμο, με πολλά ντόπια προϊόντα σε απεριόριστη ποικιλία. Ευχαριστούμε την γλυκύτατη Γεωργία και τον εξυπηρετικότατο κ. Γιώργο για την φιλοξενία. Ελπίζουμε να καταφέρουμε να το επισκεφτούμε ξανά για περισσότερες μέρες.

• Janet (10/5): Still wonderful - This was our 3rd stay at Anaxo so that says it all! I have reviewed Anaxo after the previous visits and we're pleased to say that it has retained all its qualities - great location, peaceful, well maintained and clean, large rooms with a kitchen area, lovely pool area etc. The staff are wonderful and it felt like we were going to our second home. Agios Nikolaos is a pretty, unspoilt harbour nearby with a variety of good places to eat at reasonable prices. Sit at the kafenion in the early evening where the fishermen chat over a drink and watch some of the last boats coming in. This is Greece at its best but a car is essential to make the most of the area. Many thanks again to owner George and the two Georgias for your welcome and for looking after us so well. • Marc (8/5): Lovely property with a great pool. - The property was easy to find and had excellent views of the sea, mountains and surrounding area. We had the "Salvia" apartment which had 2 bedrooms and terrific views from the two terraces and one balcony. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and when the issues below were raised they did all they could to resolve them.
• Dina (10/5): - Anaxo was a little hard to find but from the minute we arrived to the minute we left, we were overwhelmed by the exceptional service. The hotel owner George and his staff Georgia and Georgia were incredibly friendly and helpful always present to assist us and always keen to offer their suggestions and guidance on any tourist attractions in the area. We stayed in their family apartment which was was spotless, very spacious overlooking the mountains of beautiful Mani and the large pool area. The morning breakfast was superb offering the usual tourist food but also the traditional Greek extras such as pitas and sweets. Thank you
• Janet (10/5): A hidden gem! - After our stay at Anaxo last year, we couldn't wait to spend some time there again. It is situated in an olive grove with fantastic views down to the nearby coast as well as having the mountains as a backdrop. The hotel is a small family run business and this is reflected in the personal service that guests receive. The staff are all friendly, cheerful and efficient and nothing is too much trouble. We stayed in a superior room which was spacious, comfortable and had wonderful views. We were moved to a standard room for a few hours before our return flight and this too was of a generous size. Both rooms had well equipped kitchenettes which provides the option for some self-catering. The rooms, pool area and surrounding gardens are all kept immaculately clean. A good choice of items at breakfast and snacks are also available during the day. A car is essential if you want to fully appreciate the Mani area and the charming fishing village of Agios Nicholais is only a few minutes away as well as Stoupa and Kardamili. These villages have lots of good places to eat out during the day and the evening. If you're looking for a peaceful place to stay with excellent service - but near enough to plenty of activities, tavernas, and the opportunity to discover the delights of the Mani area - this would be a great choice. We will definitely return!
• Lynn (10/5): - This hotel is beautiful, the staff are both friendly and helpful and very professional. The rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable and the location is stunning. It has a lovely clean pool. Breakfast is amazing. A car is recommended as the countryside is vast and beautiful and worth exploring.
• Tom (10/5): Fantastic resort in a great location - Stayed here with my wife and two daughters (7 and 3) in the Laurel Room (the smaller family suite). As always, despite the photos I didn't know exactly what to expect, but was blown away. The hotel - Great, really committed service, really good design and condition, kids absolutely loved the cats who wonder in and around the property, pool is great. The room - larger than expected, two balcony areas, great kitchen (in which I made full meals for the family - curries, pasta etc.), DVD player was essential for parents (new Twin Peaks made our holiday even more special!). Only slight downside was the children didn't find the double sofa bed completely comfortable, but were happy to have all the bedding on the floor instead (there was enough to create an adequate mattress for the floor). Location - Countering a previous review, this is very accessible (obviously by car) with a large car park. Stoupa nearby is better than online photos would suggest - Kalogria Beach is fantastic. This is a great base for discovering the whole area, which is magnificent and varied (be sure to check out Githio and Port Kagio as well as local spots like Kardamyli). Service - To make it clearer than other reviews, breakfast includes - cereal, pastries, cold meats, breads, yoghurt. It's a relatively large cold buffet, and was very appreciated every morning. The owners kindly took care of our laundry needs during our stay. Hotel owner and his fantastic manager took care of us expertly. Top-notch!
• Robert (10/5): Excellent hotel - Excellent hotel with just the right amount of attention from the owner - never in our faces, but always ready to advise or help. Anaxo is also in a really good location from which to explore the Deep Mani.

• Verified traveler (10/5): A great place to stay! - The hotel and its situation was even better than the photographs. Fantastic views of the sea and the mountains but at the same time, in a really peaceful rural location. Great pool, plenty of room to park and wonderful staff that made us feel at home straight away. Lots of great tavernas/restaurants nearby, especially in the local fishing village which was a magical place to spend an evening. Anaxo was also in a good location for visiting other places eg Kardamili, Stoupa, Sparti, Limeni as well as many of the lovely mountain villages but a car is essential. Excellent Wi-Fi also.
• lauren (10/5): Beautiful resort with a great pool - This hotel is excellent and we're so pleased we picked it. We had the family room that occupied the whole first floor and that gave us three balconies so we could enjoy the sunshine all day and we had bags of space to occupy our boys. The pool area is spotlessly clean, as are the rooms. It's situated with brilliant views over the mani. Only downside is that you can't walk to the beach, but it's a 5 min drive only. We had such a lovely holiday.
• Denis (10/5): Outstanding hotel. Great service + accomodation - This was an excellent hotel with extremely friendly staff who did everything to make you welcome. The room was large and comfortable and the breakfast options provide were exceptional in both quality and quantity. We would have no hesitation in going back and may well do so next year. The only slight drawback is that it is a little off the beaten track and a bit difficult to find first time. The surrounding viewa are spectacular with mountain and sea views and the resort is quiet and restful. The swimming poo and the area surrounding it are extremely good.
• Ken (10/5): Perfect quiet stay - We loved our stay, in fact were intending staying for 1 night but extended this for 3 nights as it was so relaxing, quiet and private.

• Steve (10/5): Great hotel! - Great hotel located about 20 mins walk to the nearest village which has good restaurants and bars. Quiet hillside location and very nice pool and rooms.
