• Glen (10/5): Remarkable stay with terrific staff and top quality environment and service. - Clean and well maintained property. Lots of beautiful coconut and palm trees on an immaculately groomed landscape surrounding an immense pool. Yet the staff are truly even more amazing. They truly care about making your stay comfortable and make you wish not to leave such a hospitable environment. Thank you Marino for managing such a fantastic place and wonderful staff. It’s such a quiet, family-focused place. We liked the lush greenery, the oval pool with an island in the middle, and the access to the beach and ocean.

• Nika (2/5): Would not recommend. - We stayed for two nights and this property is seriously overpriced for what it offers. The main pool was dirty, full of sand, and clearly not maintained — not suitable for swimming. The infrastructure feels neglected and poorly managed. There was no hot water upon arrival (fixed quickly, but this should have been checked beforehand). The “villa” was set to an unreasonably low temperature, making it freezing cold. Service was chaotic and unprofessional. We asked for a cold coconut and were served a warm one. On check-out day, despite clearly explaining that we needed transport to the ferry with luggage, they booked a tuk-tuk for a 30-minute ride — with no space for bags. We almost missed our ferry and had to organize proper transport ourselves. At reception there were four staff members, yet only one seemed competent enough to handle basic issues. The private pool lights were flickering and malfunctioning, toilet paper ran out (only one roll provided), and breakfast was extremely poor in quality and selection — despite having many staff standing around who appeared unsure of their roles. Overall, this place does not meet the standards its price suggests. We would not stay here again.

• David (4/5): Nice pool but wouldn't stay here again - The pool is great. I had a pool access room which made sitting around having a few drinks quite enjoyable...although they have table and chairs as standard outdoor furniture for these rooms which make no sense. I asked the staff to bring a couple of sun loungers which did the trick. The food (except western breakfast options) was actually pretty good and I enjoyed most of my meals I had there. My friend and I were literally the only guests staying. She requested an ocean room (not available as a selection when booking) and despite being the ONLY person staying in a 90+ room building, she was given THE WORST room. It's those little gestures that go a very long way for good reviews which these guys seem to miss...every. time. The pay-upfront no-cancellation policy was very inflexible and I ended up checking out early and foregoing the money. During my stay I had periods of no hot water, broken television and no working landline phone to call reception to report these things. The hotel is obviously slipping slowly into disrepair due to lack of patronage (hence the militant pre-pay I guess, they need the money). The room was nice enough and clean, except for the bathroom which was a little grotty...probably from age rather than poor cleaning I suspect. Despite what the website claims, you can't access the beach at all, the sunset deck is half falling down and closed and sits beside a derelict outdoor bar. This part of the resort is the area they seem to be giving up on which is weird considering it's the premium ocean beach villa/private pool section. All has a bit of a Jurasic Park 4 weeks on from the "incident" vibe. Once amazing, now slowly rotting. The pool bar is now just a place to store towels. The hotel's location is a bit off the beaten track so getting around was a little difficult but we made it work with Grabs...don't expect to catch a tuk-tuk or anything more casual out the front like most other hotels and resorts. There's also no local convenience store you can easily walk to get supplies...very annoying considering housekeeping give you 2 small bottles of water a day. Kinda ridiculous in a country where the tap water isn't safe to consume. A lot pf previous reviews mentioned the dodgy wi-fi which was fickle for sure but most of the time I at least 4G cellular so not much of a bother.
• Aidan McCarthy (9/5): We enjoyed a really memorable few days and nights in Bohol Shores. - Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so memorable and enjoyable. All the staff went that extra mile and i could not fault the service we enjoyed. I guess the only downside is the location which is about 20-30 mins drive from the main town but it was so peaceful and quiet which i'm sure is more difficult to find in the town proper.
• Melody (8/5): Planning to be back. Hopefully, a much better WI-FI connection by then :-) - Good breakfast selection. The dining room staff were very welcoming, attentive, and helpful. The family loved the pool, and the pool staff were attentive to keeping an eye on us while we were using the pool. The only setback was the very poor WI-FI connection. This was a major issue for us since we have to check our flights and personal business online. Plenty of fire ants by the pool. Peppermint (non-chemical) sprays usually help.

• Daniel (7/5): What dreams are not made of. - Room was clean and tidy. Air conditioning was very loud had to use earplugs to sleep peacefully. Wifi was not available after the first night, which was a main for me purchasing this hotel as my mother is unwell and I needed to have communication at all times just in case. Meaning we didn't use the hotel at all as we didn't stop there during the day just returned at night to sleep! We attempted to have a Cocktail for which there was a good menu BUT none were available as they had no ingredients (What)?. For what the hotel cost I wouldn't recommend this hotel to friends and family. It looked amazing online but Pool area has lots of dislodged tiles making a trip hazard and pool could do with renovating. Photo's in my opinion are not true to real life.

• Ewelina (8/5): Nice stay in pool villa - Bohol in general is a beautiful place with very kind people. Although the weather was not perfect, we had a great time there. Our villa was positioned perfectly, with lovely ocean views. Staff members were amazing: girls in restaurant very nice and attentive, front desk ready to help anytime we needed, very friendly housekeeping team and room service. Pool villa was what we expected, giving us a fully intimate experience in almost empty hotel. Special thank you for Joan, Alan and the guy providing room service (sorry I didn’t notice his name). I would add more vegetarian options to the menu, definitely they are in need of proper coffee machine!!!! The only one unpleasant experience was the lady at the checkin. She was trying to charge me 12000 peso for (15 min drive) airport taxi despite the price given over the phone was 7000. At the end she charged us 9000 saying it was a night pickup which was obviously untrue but I was tired and didn’t want to continue the conversation and finally signed the bill. Our return taxi taken at 11pm was 7000.
• DEUNGHO (8/5): 보홀쇼어 솔직후기 - 알로나비치와는 많이 떨어져 있어서 택시나 툭툭이 이용하여 알로나 비치로 가는 경우 20분 정도의 시간이 소요됩니다. 리조트안에서만 주로 있는 경우 풀빌라를 추천합니다. 개인풀장에서 여유롭게 휴식을 즐기기에 너무 좋고 리조트앞 비치에서 아이들과 스노쿨링하기에도 최고입니다. 알로나 비치는 걸어서 스노쿨링하기 힘듭니다.

• Jens (2/5): Very bad - What you see on the pictures on Hotels.com is nothing like the real thing… The pool is not so nice when you get close, the nice balcony with the fabulous sunset is close, as it would fall down the cliffs if you step out on to it, there is only 2 showers around the pool, and they demand that you shower before getting in the pool, 1 shower is right in front of the restaurant, so people sitting eating will sit like 3 meters from people who shower. The walkways on the premises are very uneven, so don’t bring a heavy suitcase as you would have to carry it, the personnel was nice and sweet, like they normally are in PH. The neighborhood where the hotel are, is not very nice, so they even have a guard and a gate… No shops in miles surroundings… I would go as far as saying that I would demand my money back for this stay, but I don’t think they would give that anyway 😡 Find another hotel, that’s my advice!

The property only has a jumping hole that is super rocky and only good for soaking in. The pool had a few stains in the floor that makes it look dirty.

• Jemma (7/5): Not sure on the value for money. - The team at Bohol Shores give you such a warm welcome on your arrival. Everywhere was really clean and the room was really nice, with a comfortable bed. The breakfast was tasty, with quite a few different options. It is handy walking distance to Bohol Bee Farm. I think the following things may have put a dampener on our visit; the rain, the building work, the fact we stayed somewhere amazing beforehand. The location was a bit out of the way from everywhere. The building work was never ending! (8am to early evening) and it was loud! We were right by it in the main block, so would recommend staying in a villa, which is more expensive, but further away from the noise. The hotel was in need of a bit of TLC. The pool needed repainting and we noticed all the private pools were the same. The jetty that takes you to the ‘beach’ was not that safe to walk down, with lots of lose planks and nails sticking out. The beach was a medley of rocks, not really anywhere you could sit. The staff were really friendly and accommodating, but there were so many of them!! We were constantly saying hello and thank you. Some people like this and it was only our preference that it’s not so full on. Lastly the hotel adds on a cost for each Tuktuk booked through them. They also don’t offer free eco friendly tours, just the main tours offered across Bohol. We’ve stayed in much nicer hotels on our trip, which have been cheaper than Bohol Shores. I’m not sure on the value for money with Bohol Shores. However I understand that some places may be recouping for lost tourism during the pandemic, so cannot fault that really.

Nothing edible for foreigners. Water supply was cut off in the morning of my departure and it was not restored even after we checked out. Not for foreigners.
• David (10/5): Amasing place & amasing people - The hotel is set i a beautiful location but the best rooms are with a plunge pool and by the sea front. The staff were extremely helpful and polite, they couldn't do enough to make you feel welcome. We requested to move rooms to the sea front which they happily & efficiently did. The food was lovely but a limited menu, although this was due to the very few guests as the weather wasn't great. (i.e many had cancelled). I highly recommend this hotel and the island over Cebu, we wish we had gone to Bohol rather than Cebu. nothing ... was all good, we were very happy.

Breakfast and service were really not up to the price of the room. The resort was obviously running on skeletal force though so not to blame the staff.

• Verified traveler (4/5): 개인적으로 비추합니다. - 리조트 음식이 너무 많이 짜서 먹을 수 없는 정도입니다. 여러개 시켜서 먹었는데 하나같이 다 소태처럼 짜서 소금 덜 넣어달라고 요청함에도 불구하고 계속짜서 다시한번 컴플레인 넣으니 생 식자재를 찜으로 익히기만 하고 양념하나 없이 날것으로 주네요. 뿐만아니라 샤워하는데 벌레만 5마리 잡았네요. 비추천합니다.

• Verified traveler (8/5): 수영장이 최고였어요! - 1. 방에 들어갔는데.. 화장실에 개미가 너무 많아서 놀랬어요 ㅠㅠ. 약을 뿌려주시긴 했지만 문에 녹이 쓸고 룸 상태가 그닥 좋지는 않았던 것 같아요. 2. 주변에 아무것도 할 게 없어요. 음식도 외부에서 많이 사오는게 좋아요. 다만 수영장이 너무 잘되어있어서 신선놀음하기 딱 좋아요! 3. 한국블로그에는 후기가 많이 없어서 무료 항구 드랍 서비스가 있다고 써있지만 3명 기준 툭툭이를 타려면 450페소, 차타고 가려면 800페소를 내야한다고 합니다. (택시타고 가면 500페소로 가요) 4. 서비스는 무지무지 좋아요 직원분들도 매우 친절하시고 휴양하러가기 딱 좋은 호텔이에요~ 5. 와이파이는 저희 룸에서 잘 안잡혔어요 ㅠㅠ 너무 외진곳에 있어서 그런지?? 포켓와이파이 통신이 잘 되지 않았어요. 하루지나니깐 어느정도 잘 잡히기는 하더라고요.

Rooms- New, clean, accessible, excellant natural light in the room Pool- Best i had in my all travel till today Service - You demand and will be available in ur room, pool side during swimming or anywhere within the hotel Staff- Extremely Polite and friendly Food- Quality of food is extremly good, Orange juice is 3 times expensive than any other drink including beer. Improvement - 1. Although u can get transport on demand but no shuttle service to Alona beach or any other part of Pangalao. Should be started.

• Hyunjoo (10/5): 수영을 즐기는 분이라면 꼭 방문해야 할 곳 - 풀 액세스 빌라에서 2박 3일간 묵었습니다. 풀빌라를 빌리려다가 풀이 생각보다 작아 수영하기는 어려울 것 같아서 택했는데 결과적으로는 잘 한 것 같아요. 물론 좀 더 프라이빗하고 조용한 공간을 원하신다면 풀빌라도 좋은 선택이구요. 방문을 열고 나오면 우리만의 데크와 티테이블이 있고 2미터만 가면 바로 풀장에 들어갈 수 있어요. 비치타월이 따로 제공되지는 않았지만 기본으로 제공되는 배스타월을 사용해서 간단히 물기를 제거하고 방 안쪽 샤워실을 이용해서 씻으면 돼요. 바깥에는 입수 전 간단히 몸을 적실 수 있는 샤워기가 하나 있는데 위치가 리조트 입구 반대쪽이라 멀어서 그냥 방에서 씻고 나갔어요. 조식은 간단하지만 배부르게 먹을만큼 제공되었고 저녁식사로 먹었던 음식도 전부 다 맛있었어요. - 묵으면서 총 11가지의 음식을 맛봤습니다 :) 개인적으로는 기본 제공되는 물이 너무 적다는게 단점이라고 생각해요.. 적어도 500ml 생수 두 병은 주시면 좋을 것 같아요~ (기본적으로 350ml 두 병이 주어져요..) 나머지는 그다지 불편하거나 안 좋은 점은 없었어요. 직원분들도 친절하셨고 풀장 관리도 잘 되고 있었고.. 또 가고 싶은 곳입니다~ 체크아웃 할 때 직원분이 "SEE YOU SOON~" 하셨는데 정말 다시 가고 싶은 곳이예요 :) 아참, 공항 무료 픽드랍서비스도 넘 좋았어요~ ^^

• YEONGYU (10/5): 한적하게 쉬기는분위기,전체적인분위기는좋음/객실 내 벌레,화장실수압온도는좀미약함 - 비치없이 수영장에서 대신놀기에 조용하고 사람도 별로없어서 너무 좋았습니다~ 다만 객실내에 개미들이 좀 있었고 제가있던 객실은 따뜻한물대신 미지근한물이 나오고 수압이 약한편이었어요 첫날저녁엔 너무차가워서 카운터에말했더니 와서 고쳐주시고 따뜻한물은 나왔는데 다음날 아침부터 또 그러더라구요 그 외 서비스나 머무는동안 한적하고 조용한건 너무 좋았습니다~
• Seungmin (8/5): 편안한 휴양을 위한 쾌적한 숙소 - 풀 빌라에서 가족4명과 함께 3일간 지냈다. 전반적으로 만족스러운 호텔이다. 알로나비치와는 차로 약 10분-15분 정도 거리에 있으며, 주변에는 나무가 울창하게 우거져있고 바다도 가깝다. 벌레 소리와 새 소리가 풍성하게 들리는 자연 속에 있는 느낌이 들고, 호텔의 넓은 풀장엔 사람이 많지 않아 하루 종일 마음 껏 누빌 수 있다. 사람들에게 아직 덜 알려진데다 위치조차 매우 조용한 곳에 있어 휴식을 취하기에는 더할 나위 없다. 무엇보다도, 호텔 직원들은 내가 다녀본 5성급 어느 호텔의 직원들보다 부담없이 친절하며 서비스 정신이 투철하다. 또 한 가지 좋은 점으로는, 보홀에서 유명한 식당인 비팜 레스토랑이 트라이시클로 약 3분 거리에 위치하고 있다. 호텔에서는 이곳까지 무료 픽업을 제공하고 있어 편안히 다녀올 수 있다. 주변에 나무가 우거진 빌라 형태의 호텔이다 보니 벌레 걱정을 많이 헀는데, 생각보다 그로 인한 큰 불편함은 발생하지 않았다. 조그마한 벌레 하나에 예민한 사람이 아니라면 큰 문제가 되지 않을 거라고 생각한다. 아쉬운 점으로는, 위치가 다소 외진 곳에 있기 때문에 식당과 각종 가게가 몰려있는 알로나비치에 다녀오는 게 번거롭다. 물론 호텔 측에서 저녁 시간에는 알로나비치까지 무료 드랍 서비스를 제공하고 있지만, 돌아올 때는 투숙객이 알아서 돌아와야 한다. 또한 호텔의 와이파이 신호가 상당히 약해서, 호텔에 있는 동안 데이터만을 주로 사용했다. (물론 여행 예정인 사람들은 알겠지만, 현지에서 무제한 데이터 사용이 가능한 유심 가격이 매우 싸기때문에 막상 큰 상관은 없다.) 결론적으로 위치가 다소 번화가인 알로나비치와 떨어져 있지만, 그럼에도 편안히 휴양을 즐기기엔 최적인 호텔이다.
• Neil (10/5): Neil's stay ay Bohol Shores - The Resort is quiet with a great pool which is of a depth that everyone can use. The room was adjacent the pool which could be accessed by walking straight into the water. The pool water was regularly maintained & very clean. Not a lot of guests during my stay which was a surprize considering the quality of this resort. Easy trike ride back to the city & malls. Bee farm is just around the corner - can walk to it.
• Verified traveler (10/5): 넘 편안했덤 호텔 - 전 여기 저희만알고 싶은곳이에요 일단 지어진지 얼마안되서그런지 너무깔끔하고 사람도거이없었어요 서양인몇팀? 마지막엔 중국인 몇팀오긴하더라구요~ 수영장 넓어서 가족단위로 놀기도좋을꺼같아요~ 바로 옆에 비팜도 있는데 체크인시간전이라서 호텔측에서 무료로 픽드랍까지 해주시고 돌아보고 밥먹고오라고 하두라구요~ 암튼 너무 강추입니다
• HY　 (4/5): 質素な食事 - 夕食：ファミレスのランチのほうがよりおいしく思いっきり食べられる　と思えるくらいの料理でした。朝食：ほとんどなし。フルーツのコーナーには沢山のアリが集っていてとても食べる気にはなりません。 画像で見た食事を期待していましたのでとても残念です。 プライベートビーチ：海藻と藻だらけでとても海に入る気分にはなれませんし、実際入っている人もいません。皆さんプールで過ごしていました。 部屋：入口にアリの行列。部屋を変えるように頼んでもダメでした。
• Verified traveler (10/5): 너무 편하게 쉬다 왔습니다~ ^^ - 일단 수영장이 크고 접근성이 좋으며 직원들이 친절합니다. 많이 알려지지 않아 잘 모르시는 것 같아요~ 조식은 종류는 없으나 간단하게 먹기 좋으며 조식을 먹지 못할 경우 미리 얘기해 두면 샌드위치로도 준비해 주는 친절함과 석식이 무료 제공되는데 저흰 저녁에 맛있게 잘 먹었습니다. 저흰 5시 비행기라서 12시 체크아웃이 너무 이른 것 같아 3시쯤 돈을 더 지급하고라도 있으려고 했으나 3시까지 아무 추가비용없이 있어도 된다고 하네요~^^ 그래서 조식을 먹고 수영도 하고 편히 쉬었구요 공항까지 무료 픽드랍을 해주셔서 편히 있다가 왔습니다. 너무 조용하다보니 책 읽으시는 분들도 보았구요~ 신혼부부나 커플한테 좋을 것 같구요 가족단위로도 많이 오시던데 조용해서 좋습니다. 앗 참 10.28일날 할로윈 파티를 한다고 하네요~^^
• Kumi (10/5): The best hotel for families with kids 子連れに最適なホテル - We stayed 2 nights with my parents and 1 year old baby at this small but homy and cozy resort. For families with kids, I recommend villas with pool access because kids can access very easily to the lagoon pool just in front. Thanks to their promo, We were able to have complimentary daily dinners each night at a restaurants just in front of the pool. The hotel staffs were very kind, they provided us with perfect shuttles to the airport and Alona beach. And they prepared sandwiches for the breakfast because we had to depart very early. We had really pleasant and relaxing time at this hotel and are willing to come back here soon. 両親と1歳半の子連れで2泊しました。子連れの家族にはプール付きヴィラではなくプールアクセスヴィラをおすすめします。目の前がラグーンプールで子供が退屈しません。 プロモで、プール目の前のレストランでの2名分のディナー（またはランチ）も毎泊分ついていました。 スタッフもとても親切で、空港とアロナビーチまで無料のシャトルサービスがあります。また、早朝出発の日にはサンドウィッチのお弁当を用意してくれました。 とても楽しくリラックスした時間を過ごせましたので、また宿泊させていただきたいと思います。

• cu (2/5): - Amazing hotel in my life. So many bugs in the room and restaurant. They said they have baby bed, but there is no bed for baby. That was just chair for new born. I order dry squid for my breakfast, but it was burned squid. I'll never visit this hotel ever.

Very quite resort, new and have a nice decorations, a bit expensive, many staff will be ready to help you which i found it noisy for me when 5 or more is watching me when i'm having breakfast even while swimming infront of my room
