afuugu (1/5): Very bad experience 😕😔 - The room was very dirty, the washroom small so bad I couldn't take a shower 😞 No towels no soup nothing. Not even floor towels. Curtains couldn't even cover all the window. Someone could see you from outside. Not wealth the money at all. I couldn't stay a full day. I run away 😔

De airco stond aan maar deed niks. Kamer was verouderd en bloedheet en anders dan op de foto’s werd voorgesteld.

But when I arrived, they told me my reservation had been cancelled because “someone was occupying my room.” Are you kidding me? The receptionist was unbelievably rude — the most disrespectful person I’ve ever had to deal with. Even after I explained that I was traveling with a toddler, she coldly told me she couldn’t help me. They cancelled my booking at 7:33 PM on the same day, while I was literally on a flight with no access to the internet. How exactly was I supposed to know? This place is an absolute scam pretending to be a guest house. No professionalism, no accountability, no empathy — nothing. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Avoid this disaster at all costs.

Darko (1/5): Bad - Booking was quick. But apparently so as the place should be avoided. So i made the reservation for some colleagues booking via booking.com for one night but plans changed and they had to stay one more night. I was there when the owner of the hotel, an older looking woman came ranting at the very top of her lungs that we immediately vacate the premises because i was late on payment even when i had not checked out. Customer care just went down the toilet. On top of the embarrassment i had to endure, the TV did not work and the bed broke. Such a rubbish place for such nasty attitude. I tried to calm matters and this woman was just nasty and rude. I mean if this is coming from the owners then I expect nothing better from the workers.

Osei (4/5): Many errors - The location is good. It is not far from the airport and you have everything you need nearby. The staff were friendly. I was here twice last year and was very satisfied. This time I was extremely disappointed. It was dirty. In my parent's room the toilet seat wasn't attached, the TV didn't work, it smelled extremely of urine overnight, they discovered it was coming from the mattress, the bathroom door doesn't close, the light switch is hanging out. My room was extremely dusty and there were several empty bottles under the bed, ( I told the employee, but he only came up with the idea of removing it when I asked for a broom) it looked like the last time it had been mopped under the bed, was two months ago. I really liked the place back then and that's why I went back there. Unfortunately I won't do that again.

Oluwadamilola (1/5): UNRELIABLE AND YOU WILL BE LEFT STRANDED. DONT TRY THEM AT ALL00 - Nothing Had issues getting a line upon my arrival in Accra, Ghana. When I did, I booked with them, called before leaving the park, was assured and left the park, called the owner and was given directions. I left where the park, en route after 40 to 50 mins, only to be told the room I booked wasn't available. This happened at night in a town I know nothing about. So I had to quickly book with Pleasant Gardens, else I would be stranded around 10 pm with no where to stay.

Marcus (8/5): Excellent value for money, the perfect place for a short stop over in Accra. - The location is really handy for the airport, not far from Accra mall too if you need the best shopping available in Accra.. Short walking distance from the lodge is a really nice street full of restaurants and shops. The area is nice and clean and well kept. I was travelling with my dog which is why I chose this place. Not only is it pet friendly, it’s also an ideal location to have a pet since they have an enclosed yard with some grass so your dog can go to the toilet.. I can’t say the accommodation was perfect but it would have been crazy if it was for the price. The room I had was very simple and the fittings in the bathroom were damaged and not in great condition. No single service soaps or anything like that and no fridge in the room. That said, you simply cannot get such value for money anywhere else so none of those things even didn’t even bother me in the slightest..

The guesthouse didn't accept card payments, the room was full of mosquitoes and nothing to install a net and we got bitten throughout the night. Not the cleanest, towels were wet at arrival.

Myrna (8/5): This was my first time visiting Africa, The staff was extremely friendly, supportive and helpful. - The room was large, clean and comfortable, Breakfast was very basic but it was presented very well. The room could be maintained to a higher standard there were several things that needed attentioned. Unfortunately the area was extremely noisy at times This was due to the area being a mix of residential and commercial.

You only gave coffee, which assumes all guests are coffee drinkers. Breakfast said it was between 7-10 but everyday staff woke us up to eat at 7-8, which was annoying as were in need of rest. We brought this up but it kept occuring. - stained bed sheets - cockroach infested room that was not cleaned prior to check-in. Even though staff were given ample heads up!!!

Relatively quite and great access to shops and entertainment No proper cleaning of property. Rooms were very stuffy and had cockroaches. In one instance, we found a worm on one the beds. The mattresses were very old and uncomfortable, bedsheets were dirty, bathrooms had water all over when you bath. The glass covering of the shower had a whole pane missing. The balcony was very dirty. Painted had been scrapped and left on the floor uncleared. Even though breakfast was included, not once was it offered
