• Esther (10/5): Rustikaler Charme im Herzen von Erice - In der Unterkunft standen bei unserer Ankunft kleine Snacks bereit. Das Ferienhaus ist zugänglich von einem schönen kleinen Innenhof und innen sehr gemütlich-rustikal eingerichtet. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich (kein persönlicher Kontakt, da war spät anreisten, aber der Check-In war unkompliziert). Der Parkplatz war etwas schwierig zu finden. Insgesamt haben wir unseren kurzen Aufenthalt sehr genossen! Es war ein bisschen kalt im Mai, aber es sind Heizungen in allen Räumen vorhanden und richtige Bettdecken.

• María (9/5): - Es un alojamiento con todo el encanto de formar parte de una antigua casa de piedra. Me alojé en un departamento amplio con estar y dormitorio separado. Está muy cerca de la plaza y de la calle principal. El personal fue muy amable, nos fueron a encontrar cuando no pudimos hallar el estacionamiento. Sugiero que señalicen mejor el estacionamiento para facilitar la llegada. Muy recomendable

Erice es muy dificil si no sabes moverte y hacía un tiempo espantoso que dificultaba todo. Volvería sin dudas. El apartamento es como en la fotos, decorado con gusto, manteniendo el espíritu del edificio.

Es gibt einen privaten Parkplatz, Transfer zur Unterkunft hat super geklappt. Freundliche Mitarbeiter. Nach der Buchung haben wir unnötig viele Nachrichten zum geplanten Aufenthalt erhalten, u.a. zum notwendigen Online-Check In. Das Haus wurde vor unserer Anreise nicht geheizt. Es war kalt und durch die alten Mauern auch sehr feucht.⁹

• Alicia (10/5): Wonderful stay! - The place is adorable and well located. It is well appointed and cozy. The hosts were easy to communicate with and very welcoming. The town is so special and it’s wonderful to be there after the bulk of the visitors leave. There was a miscommunication based on booking’s info and we thought the 2 rooms of the Jasmine apartment had two double beds. In fact, there are 2 rooms but there is one with a single bed and one with a double. This is not the hosts’ fault and they took care of it well, but it’s something to be aware of.
• Doreen (10/5): Loved the opportunity to be able to stay in Erice. Flavia was the best host and made us feel at home - Flavia, the person who greeted us was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Knowing we had free parking was a bonus. And, to stay in the middle of an ancient city and have convenient access to the area was such a plus. This has nothing to do with the lodging itself. It was winter and there were few restaurants open.

• dario (6/5): Bene, ma non ripeterei - Non avevo colazione compresa, solo del caffè offerto gentilmente. Posizione ottima, in centro. Purtroppo appartamento poco coibentazione x problema umidità e condensa notevole tutti gli ambienti Sicuramente coibentazione e presenza muffa ed umidità ambienti. Non si riesce aprire finestre!!!
• serena (7/5): Struttura meravigliosa ma fredda! - La struttura è davvero molto bella, molto curata, pulita e super centrale. Comodissimo il servizio navetta dal parcheggio privato e il parcheggio stesso. Unica pecca, non da poco visto il periodo e le temperature del paese, il riscaldamento, affidato a due termoconvettori di cui uno praticamente inutile perché non scaldava nulla, quindi eravamo in 3 ma una stanza è stata inutilizzabile per quanto fredda, così come il bagno adiacente con temperature bassissime, sui 13/15 gradi per cui la stufetta presente non riusciva a scaldarlo abbastanza. Proprietario disponibile telefonicamente ad assisterci per impostare i termoconvettori, ma nonostante questo al ritorno la sera dal nostro giro la stanza era gelida. Peccato!
• Ross (9/5): - The location was very central. The apartment looks lovely. The hosts who picked us up and dropped us off at the parking outside the town were very friendly and welcoming. If you have more than a backpack, the 10€ roundtrip transfer is definitely worth it. The bedroom heating was fine but the living room didn't work very well. Some of the lights need replacing such as the one above the bathroom mirror.

• Hunziker (10/5): Erholsame Nacht in Erice - TOP! Wunderschön, sehr ruhig und bequem. Der Parkplatz ist gut zugänglich und die Stadt von dort aus über eine Treppe besser erreichbar als erwartet. Kommunikation mit Host via WhatsApp, immer gut erreichbar und zuvorkommend. Zu bemängeln gibt es nur den sehr ausführlichen Online Check In und die vielen Emails und Nachrichten die man nach der Buchung erhält. Stelle sicher dass du für die Übernachtungstaxe Cash hast. Die muss man in bar bezahlen, ist aber kein Mangel, nur eine Info.

• Jan (7/5): Nice but could be better! - The accomodation was very clean and stylishly decorated according to what is usual in Erice. It was spacious with a good location in the town. Honestly it would be beneficial if there are not so many decorations in the rooms. It is useless and cluttering the space. Location of the apartment is good but! be aware that the parking spot is approximately 700m distant. The distance was not a key issue (for us) but rather the roads and streets in the town were. They are made from stones, so it is very difficult to take your luggages from car to the apartment. Honestly, it was so difficult that I was afraid I would destroy my suit case trolley. However the apartment owner has a car which can transport your luggages, problem is that it was not offered to us. Sorry, but I think this shall be an essential service for all the guests coming to Erice. On the way back we managed to get our luggages transported to the parking lot.

• Alena (8/5): Very good - The location, large, comfortable beds, authentic furniture. Very nice stuff always responding. Don't expect that you can prepare anything else than coffee in the kitchen. But we didn't expect anything else from the pictures. Number of messages in WhatsApp almost over helming, less might be more clear.
• Marius (10/5): Exceptional - Nice authentic appartment in the heart.of Erice. We enjoyed our stay, the town is interesting and staying in such authentic place makes the experience top. Mini kitchen in our room was made inside the drawer, it might look nice, but is not very convenient. Also due to Central location and pizzeria just outside the appartment, it might be a bit noisy. It is not a night club, so around 00 they should close, but still with small child it might be noisy for a while.

The accommodation was cute. Stone built. Little courtyard etc. The accommodation was musty and damp. It needed a good airing and warming up. There was a faulty heater so my first nights stay was unpleasant. I didn’t really warm up all night. Next day the situation was resolved very quickly thanks to my host. So thanks a million for that.

Check in was problematic, I contacted the property 2 days before check in and they arranged a time meet me for check in. The manager was helpful after driving me a little crazy with his complicated access with What's App for everything, like a huge corpporation. The parking was expensive for such a small town. I wish there was a breakfats with the room.

We appreciated the opportunity of their own private parking outside of town. Very minor thing: I recommend to simplify the flow of information via Whatsup. Certainly complete and useful, but a bit lengthy and duplicative.

The few staff we met was all kind and friendly, but a bit disappointed that most of the interaction is non-human; most of if by WhatsApp.

Property was perfect, highly recommend. Property was absolutely perfect. Didn’t like the lack of personal contact and frustration of difficulty with getting into keysafe/courtyard. But once that was resolved - everything else was very very good.

• Dzanyvt (9/5): Great stay in the heart of medieval town, truly an accommodation with experience! - The experience of spending the night in the heart of medieval city is irreplaceable, and if you get to spend it in an original stone house, it is even better. On the top of that, it is really quiet there, since every tourist leaves for the night! We slept like babies. :) Nice and helpful staff provided a lot of information. The "how to get to the accomodation" is a little bit unclear, even if the staff sends you a lot of info, but once we got there, every doubt was solved, so this is not much of a negative thing after all.

• Anonymous (7/5): Good - The residence was charming and it was a great location. The management team helped with airport transfer which was wonderful. It was an unnecessarily complicated process with many booking.com messaging threads — an awful system. We eventually switched to WhatsApp and that was much better. I never saw the management team and nor did they answer the phone although they answered text messages. Improvements needed: - The actual units were nice although I do not recommend the 2-bedroom unit, as it is dark with a small high-up window (we did not use the second bedroom except for luggage storage. We did not use the second bedroom. My sister’s one-bedroom unit was much nicer and brighter. - Generally, the furniture was clean, but it was old and dated. The shower curtain should be replaced in the 2-bedroom unit. As well, the framed posters were peeling in the bedroom. - Both units ran out of toilet paper (the units should be stocked with additional rolls).
• Martin (9/5): Superb - Warm with air conditioning. Adequate cooking facilities. Lovely large bedroom Great terrace but too cold to use. It is complicated to reach with luggage because of the nature of the streets. I drove up late in the evening. My car was thankfully small.
• Edouard (10/5): Exceptional - Caring staff, appartment preheated and also very well decorated excellent breakfast in a nearby pasticceria, very good advice for eating
• Ingelore (9/5): Erice is an amazing place - Spacious, clean, atmospheric Only sweet pastries for breakfast but in Michele we could get a slice of pizza instead
• Tim (10/5): just great - perfectly located. lovely building and flat.
• Maria (9/5): Really nice place to stay - Really cosy room furnished in Sicilian way. Spacious and well equipped in the city center with free parking close to city center. Broken window in bathroom was making a lot of noise when it was windy. Bed could be more comfortable.
• Kyungsook (8/5): Very good - Good location and kind staffs. I liked the pick up service from parking lot to property (€10 round service) The included breakfast is served in a nearby cafe, a coffee and Sicilian dolce. However, the cafe opens at 11am.
• Douglas (10/5): Wonderful Apartment in Beautiful Erice - This was a wonderful place to stay. It's located right in the middle of the old city and within a few minutes' walk to all the museums, churches, and other sightseeing spots. The apartment is beautifully decorated and on a very quiet street. The host was very helpful giving us information before and after we arrived. We visited off season so we were able to park right outside the city walls. I would definitely love to stay here again in the future. The apartment itself was incredible. The only thing that we would like to have had though was a little larger pot for cooking pasta, a small fry pan for eggs, a little cooking oil, and perhaps some salt.

• Aarnout (8/5): A wonderful comfortable place. - Great place. The breakfast vouchers were okay but you did have for the bottles of water. The kitchen could have a little more equipment.

• Ida (9/5): We loved these spacious apartments and would stay again!The host Maurizzio was very helpful in organizing the parking - Amazing location in comfortable apartments. Very scenic views. Lots of space. Heritage architecture was beautiful. Having breakfasts vouchers worked very well! The beds were not the most comfortable.
• Piers (9/5): Superb - Amazing location- right in the center of the old town,.with nice outdoor space 1 free bottle of water and some.tea.and coffee which was good. Lots of drinks in the fridge but you had to pay for any of them
• Guy (10/5): Wonderful apartment in village center - The place is perfectly located in the center and free breakfast at Maria Grammatico. Flavia and Maurizio were communicative and pleasant. Apartment is a wonderful design in old building. You cannot drive in Eriche. They will pick you up just down hill in a parking lot that is on a gravel road, a little hidden, behind the "Coffee House". Google has a hard time directing you to the parking lot. Look at it before so you are prepared.
