- JJesus (10/5): - The property is located very central to everything and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The property is very modern and well kept. This is my second time staying here and I definitely recommend to anyone coming to Guadalajara.
- Barragan (2/5): - Misleading and Poorly Managed We booked this hotel *only* because it had a pool, which we found out was under construction at check-in. The staff claimed they had informed us via WhatsApp, but I showed them they hadn’t—and minutes later, I conveniently received the message. Their website and confirmation *still* listed the pool as open. Completely misleading. The front desk staff was rude (especially one woman, though no one wears name tags), and the restaurant was mediocre. The rooftop bar was overpriced with overly sweet drinks. We also experienced frequent power outages, which meant no Wi-Fi, no TV, and no way to charge devices. Worst of all, our toilet started leaking on day two. Our toddler slipped on the water, hit his head, and got a concussion. Maintenance came quickly, but the damage was already done. This place is poorly maintained and not worth the hassle I tried to give it the benefit of a doubt since I know Mexico can be a little different but I wish I would have believed the other review. I recommend staying at Voco Guadalajara Neruda instead—they were amazing.

Estábamos buscando un lugar boutique e íntimo ya que no llevábamos niños, y este nos llamó la atención. Pero diría que la apariencia es mucho mejor en las fotos que en persona. Además, nos enviaron un mensaje con menos de 24 horas de anticipación para avisarnos que la alberca estaba en construcción, y normalmente no se puede cancelar en ese momento para obtener un reembolso completo. Eso fue una gran decepción, ya que una de las cosas más importantes para nosotros era relajarnos en la alberca. Podríamos habernos quedado en otro lugar con alberca y un ambiente más amigable, ya que en este hotel todos eran bastante callados

- Velma (8/5): - The room I had was older and needed an update but the bed was comfy and clean and it was very quiet. I felt safe and secure. Didn't have time to stroll the area but it seemed very quiet and walkable. Service at breakfast was exceptional and quality of the free breakfast was excellent although the selections were limited.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Check your folio for false charges - It stings to say, because I really enjoyed my time at this hotel, but I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone. After checkout, I was surprised to see more than a dozen erroneous minibar charges in my folio. None of these items had even been present in my room!! When I asked the staff for clarification, not only did they not apologize for the error, they suggested the mistake was mine. I was floored. Absolutely never again.

However the rooms are really dated and the furniture is in very bad shape. The bed was pretty comfortable but the linens were not nice. I think this probably was a terrific hotel 20 years ago and will be again when it the powers spend some money on updating the rooms.

- Navor (8/5): - A very quiet place overall. I recommend requesting a room that doesn’t face the street, as the rooms can get extremely hot. Also, note that the ‘free breakfast’ advertised isn’t actually free—we were charged despite having coupons. I’d definitely recommend going out for breakfast instead. Un lugar muy tranquilo en general. Recomiendo pedir una habitación que no dé a la calle, ya que las habitaciones pueden ponerse extremadamente calurosas. También, tengan en cuenta que el ‘desayuno gratis’ no es realmente gratis; nos lo cobraron a pesar de tener cupones. Definitivamente recomendaría salir a desayunar en otro lugar.
- L (10/5): - What an amicable, accommodating, and overall spectacular staff. From the front desk, waiters, bartenders, and attendants- all were consistently gracious. We stayed on the 7th floor and I will say that we could still hear a good amount of street noise, which we didn’t mind (that’s travel for ya). The neighborhood is a bit on the sleepy side, but it is very close to excellent restaurants, hip wine bars, coffee shops, and tacos!

I recommend better insulating curtains, fans in the room, and to lower the room temperatures before check in so it is not so warm for rooms facing the afternoon sun.
- LUIS (8/5): The key to success is in the details - The hotel was really nice with its own very unique style and personality. However, we were never advised by either the hotel or hotels.com that the pool was not in service. This was really disappointing as we really wanted to try this experience. Moreover, although breakfast was included, we noticed a stingy closed-minded and poor service attitude by the hotel staff whereby adding an extra egg to our order led to an extra charge to put an example. It is definitely not about the amount charged for an extra egg that is disturbing, but the fact of not being tactful with this little details. And yes, everything is in the details. Now, we are hesitant whether we want to book again with this property.

No me equivoqué, pasé un gran fin de semana. El desayuno incluido, perfecto: una barra con frutas, jugo, croissants y carnes frías. Suficiente para empezar el día. El staff, muy amable y cálido tiene las mejores recomendaciones para la zona. Te prestan bicicletas y tiene áreas de lectura muy cómodas. El diseño del hotel muy cool, me fascinó su vibra. El cuarto, amplio y cómodo, con lo necesario para descansar. Mucho spot instagrameable, todos divinos. Me quedaría de nuevo en este lugar.

Hotel is an eclectic mix of funky decore but very trendy. Breakfast was great, Valet and waitstaff were quick, efficient and friendly. I would love to return.
- Caroline (8/5): Noisy - Noise! I was on the third floor, overlooking the pool deck. Music played all the time, though I only ever saw two people there. First night… I kept waking up, thinking… soon they will turn it off. Second night at 1:30am I called reception to turn it off. Third night I asked the duty manager to come to my room to listen. He appeared concerned. Who is the music being played for when this pool area is clearly not being used much, and why sooo loud? Hotel guests are in hotels to essentially get some rest, if I want nightclub action I can go to one. I doubt I’m the first to complain and yet it always seems to be surprise to the staff? So I guess the hotel likes it this way and the music will continue to play.

- Verified traveler (10/5): A Definite Recommend - This was such a nice find. In a quiet residential area but with many bar and dining choices within walking distance on Av. Chapultepec and side streets. Staff was extremely friendly and professional, treated us like special guests. Only hesitation would be that the rooms are smaller and the unique layout limits free space. Not suitable for families, but great for couples and solo travelers. Definitely would recommend this hotel.

- Aoi (6/5): - I liked the room and the area. But the staffs were not as good as I expected for the money u paid. They were friendly, but couldn’t help me with a surprise for my partner much. I told them not to show the cost to my partner beforehand. But when we were about to leave, the staff showed us the bill. I immediately closed my partner’s eyes lol So that was the worst thing since I asked a few times on the email beforehand. AC was broken even tho I reserved a sweet room with a bathtub. So it wasn’t a good experience.

Casa Habita provided our room with an oscillating fan. However, this was a huge omission of information. Unfortunately, we checked out for another hotel that had air conditioning. However, the front desk was understanding why we had to move elsewhere and was prompt with getting our refund back.
- Nadia (10/5): - The hotel's lobby was modern, we arrived earlier than the allowed check in time but the front desk staff held out luggage so that we could get our day started without having to carry our bags everywhere. Front desk staff was very helpful and polite. Check in process was smooth and we received a voucher for two free drinks from the hotel's bar. Our room was very clean and the bed and pillows comfortable. There was an outdoor patio that was very beautiful and peaceful. The hotel is within walking distance to many restaurants and bars. We felt safe the entire stay.
- Rachel (8/5): - This was our second stay at Casa Habita and, overall, it was a positive experience. The hotel and the neighborhood are charming. The room was comfortable. The staff were friendly and did everything that they could to make our stay enjoyable. However, we were incredibly disappointed to learn upon arrival that the pool would be closed for maintenance for the entirety of our stay. (And, from the looks of it, it won’t be open for quite a while.) I really needed to decompress on this vacation and this was a big let down. The front desk staff went out of their way to find another hotel in the area that offered day passes to their pool so that we could still relax in the sun. However, with such short notice, their efforts were unsuccessful. Despite the disappointment, I still think we’d have chosen to stay at Casa Habita over one of the other hotels that we’d considered. However, If you’ll be staying there soon and hope to relax by the pool, I’d recommend checking with the hotel to confirm that it will be open. And, if it won’t be, ask them to make a reservation for you at one of the other Guadalajara hotels that offer day passes so that you can still relax in the sun!
- Peter (8/5): The Cool Ones… - Great hotel in Guadalajara. Located in a nice part of the city with walkable distance to many restaurants and bars. The front desk staff are top notch and very personable. The restaurant at the hotel is good and basic, solid. Rooms are minimal and stylish, not for everyone, but I liked the design. Stay here and you won’t be disappointed. Not a typical chain or suburban place.

This hotel backs up to a club and you can hear the music from 10PM to the early morning hours all night long. No sound proof windows. Horrible Front Desk Service - asked multiple times for assistance with dinner reservations and there was zero follow up or confirmation Pool Not In Service - the pool was out of commission for two days, closed on NYE for event set up (never communicated), and then when it did open the fourth day, WHITE PAINT FLAKES were floating throughout the pool Key Access / Dumbbells - although angling for a charming moment, the singular key access was way too big and bulky, certain bouncers at the clubs thought the piece to activate the lighting was a weapon Restaurant vs Hotel - great confusion on what the complementary drinks entail, charging for a spicy margarita but not a regular margarita. Also service took forever, and continental breakfast took 20 minutes to get your egg… Neighborhood - during the day was fine but at night did not feel safe walking around the neighborhood. Part of the city concern in general but definitely felt like a target leaving the hotel at night. All in all, stay somewhere else…

- D&M (8/5): - Location is excellent. This area of Guadalajara is tree-lined and close to restaurants and bars. The hotel is tucked away from Chapultepec, but close. Hotel drivers and front doormen were great. Thank you Sergio for the rides and William always at the door with a smile to greet us. Some things to note: there was a loud hotel sponsored DJ party on Saturday night at the pool but we didn’t mind as it ended promptly at 11:30pm. Also, the pool is small but at least they did have one! Lastly, no door credit card keys. It’s a large old-fashioned key, albeit stylish, not practical.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Very nice and attractive hotel - My stay at Casa Fayette was really pleasant! The staff was very helpful, with restaurant picks and even arranging a car for me to explore the pyramids and the town of Tequila. The included breakfast was tasty as well. The only real issue was a party happening in the bar/pool area at night that lasted until midnight, not a problem for me, but the music was very loud and I could imagine for an early riser that it would have been a problem. With that in mind, if you know that may be an issue, you should request a room that does not face the internal courtyard.

Made me feel like I was on holiday even though I was doing business. I'd surely come back again for either!
