The bed was really comfortable and I had everything I needed for my short stay. The log burner was a huge comfort on the cooler evenings. The hosts provided lots of information about the area which is always useful. There was nothing I didn’t like. It was perfect for me.

It was very comfortable and had everything one could need regarding cooking, comfort and relaxing. Julie and Paul were lovely and very accommodating and friendly. The environment was just perfect and peaceful. I would certainly return to experience a peaceful stay. Nothing.

The amenities were excellent, everything you needed to enjoy your stay was there. cleanliness first class, they were definitely quirky! and the friendly& welcoming owners. The property was very clean, well presented and very well equipped with everything from a dossier of local places to visit, to binoculars to everything you could need to cook meals. The couple who own the hut were friendly and very informative while respecting our privacy when we were in the private garden area surrounding the hut. Evening local walks down the road were fantastic with hares hopping towards us and spotting deer running alongside the field. nothing it was beautiful

- Jackie (10/5): Absolutely divine! Best place to be if you want peace and quiet or something a bit different - Where it was located, it was so remote and peaceful, tucked away in the countryside, all calm and tranquil.
The unique of the hut, it was quirky and fun! Something completely different and private.
There was tea/coffee provisions in the hut, we took some snacks got the evening.
Well equipped with all the associated items needed, and the log fire added a warming touch.
It was great to sit and look out at the scenery all quiet and still till it got dark.
The sleeping hit was comfortable and very clean. The shower was great,
An absolute pleasure to escape the busy world. If that’s what you’re looking for then this is the place.
The hosts were helpful and very friendly There wasn’t anything not to like. No Wi-Fi but got small burst of signal every so often. However don’t be put off the peace and quiet was well received for a chance to recharge and relax.

- Miranda (9/5): Very relaxing with lots to do within easy reach (walks, castles, beaches etc.) - Spotlessly clean, self contained and in beautiful countryside surroundings - away from it all. It was cosy and well thought out and it was nice to bring my dog so he could join in the fun. The property was fenced off with a secure gate. Lovely views The bed was quite high so a step would have been useful for older visitors.
A microwave in the kitchen area would have been useful.

- Julie (10/5): Perfection - Absolutely lovely hosts. The accommodation has everything you need, a lot of thought has been put into it. We had such a relaxing stay. Off the grid with no interruptions, sheer bliss. The scenery is absolutely stunning. The view from the bedroom window catches the sun rise. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. So special with plenty of walks nearby too. We saw deer running in the fields which was really special. We will definitely be back. Great location to explore Wooler, holy island, bamburgh etc.
If you want peace and quiet to de-stress and get back to nature this is the place for you. Nothing to complain about it was perfect
