• Emma (7/5): If you want a rustic beach stay this delivers. For me, after 3 nights I was dreaming of a 5 star hotel. - It was as described, right on the beach with a good restaurant. There was no ceiling fan. The stand alone fan was noisy and blew open the mosquito net. We were an open banquet. Being on the beach is a dream but the reality is that the sound of the crashing waves could interfere with your sleep. You can’t swim in the sea unless you are a very strong swimmer or surfer.

• Elizabeth (9/5): It was a dream - hope to be back again soon, next time in a cabin directly on the beachfront :) - It was my first time here, I stayed solo in one of the cabins (second row and not sea front but still close enough). This place was an absolute dream. Dreamy, charming, clean, and comfortable. Peaceful. Idyllic. I really felt in touch with nature. Loved waking up to the sound of the birds with the view/sound of the ocean and surrounded by beautiful trees, and being a few steps away from the beach front (my cabin was in the second row, so next time I would love to be in the front!). Plus, enjoyed the personal hammock. The private beach and bar/restaurant have great options and cater to a beach day perfectly. I definitely made good use of the loungers and umbrellas on the beach front and of the wi fi to enjoy music, it was amazing. The staff were all friendly, kind and helpful. I felt welcome and taken care of. Such a great place and value for money. My room and bathroom were extremely clean and comfortable. Just have a couple of things I'd personally add: - The location is super close to a supermarket and several cafes and restaurants within a few minutes' walking distance, so you have everything you need. But a mini fridge in the room to keep some beverages and snacks cool would still be nice, since it gets super hot - Great minimal and simple rooms with a relaxed feel, but having even a small chest of drawers/hangers and a tiny bedside table would help avoid the clutter and keep it tidy - Loved the beach set-up, but if soft padding were available for all of the sunloungers instead of a few, it would be even better

• Ian (10/5): - Cabaña / bungalow living, with ocean waves within earshot. Large bed with mosquito netting, large bathroom as well. Hammock on the front patio, chairs and umbrellas on the beach. Great in-house bar/resto. Easy walk to Mazunte and other beaches, camionetta rides to further points. Staff was amazing. Thanks for a great stay. Looking forward to a return. This was exactly what we were looking for but if I had to give notes or warn others ahead- this is bungalow living. The windows are only closed with shutters and while that is amazing for the sound of the waves, you'll catch some road noise/gardener noise as well. There is a fan in the room, but a ceiling fan above the netting would have been amazing.

• Laurie (9/5): 🌊🌊 - An incredible location with the constant soundtrack of waves, an extremely comfy bed + cute minimalist design. I'm so happy I chose to stay. The staff was very friendly and their ☕️ coffee was great. I recommend requesting a bungalow furthest from the kitchen/main walkway where I was for more privacy and less ambient noise from the restaurant if you plan to hang out most of the day there. Additionally, be prepared for vendors to approach you multiple times even at your doorstep. This was my biggest complaint as both days I stayed there were at least 5 people who walked through the property amd directly onto my deck vending/soliciting, some multiple times during the day which was very invasive. I understand people make a living that way but a sign and maybe even a thoughtful gate at entry might prevent this.

Arrivée très top le matin , nous avons pu en disposer dans la matinée au lieu de l’après midi et au départ grâce à son aide nous avons pris une « camioneta » au lieu d’un taxi pour aller à pochutla 60 pesos au lieu de 500! • Maya (9/5): Realmente un sueño! - Nuestra experiencia fue excelente! Las cabañas frente al mar son un lujo, despertarse con pies en la arena y chapuzón directo al agua. El staff es maravilloso, siempre atento y detallista. La cafetería es un plus enorme, poder tomar jugos y cafés en las propias hamacas es genial. Los jardines del entorno están muy bien cuidados. La zona es tranquila y agradable. Repetiría!
• mouna (8/5): Un séjour idéal en bord de mer - L'emplacement de l'hôtel est idéal. Nous avons adoré être les pieds dans l'eau. De plus, le personnel est super agréable et attentionné. Nous avons eu un problème médical avec notre enfant et nous avons été bien aidé par le gestionnaire de l'hôtel. Merci Jesus pour toute ton aide! Les 2 premières nuits, nous avons été placés dans une chambre familiale qui était proche de la route et le bruit était infernal. Nous n'avons pas bien dormi. Heureusement qu'on a pu changer pour la chambre familiale côté mer. Cela a complètement changé toute notre expérience.

• mauro (9/5): Geweldig, wij komen zeker terug. - De locatie pal aan het strand is echt geweldig. De sfeer is super relaxt en het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De cabana’s zijn ruim, schoon en perfect om in te ontspannen. Een absolute aanrader! 🌴✨ De klamboe in de kamer was soms wat onhandig dicht te maken wat maakte dat er toch muggen binnen kwamen.

La description indique coffre fort dans les chambres , il n’y en a pas …Les cabanes sont plus que sommaires , eau froide , pas de Clim . Propreté limite , draps pas nets , taies d’oreiller jaunes sales . Moustiquaire trouée Nous avons eu d’abord une chambre en 1ere ligne sur la plage puis une 2eme derrière à l’étage adossée à la rue bruyante . La porte ne fermait pas et pour chacun des petits désagréments , le personnel affichait une grande désinvolture ! Restaurant a un super emplacement mais cher . Nous avons testé à qqls pas un autre établissement qui pour le même prix offrait une qualité d’hébergement bien supérieure !

Lots of restaurants near by. Room was clean, food was good and staff were excellent We were in a cabin next to the road and it’s an open air place so I found it quite noisy. Ear plugs help. Also no hot water so we took our showers in the afternoon when it was hot. No A/C has a single fan in the room so quite warm in the room at night

The location in San Agustinillo is perfect with walking distance to a lot of small restaurants and shops as well as Mazunte. Great place! The cabin we stayed in was quite close to the road and was a bit noicy which we didn't know beforehand. But overall super nice.

Due passi e si è in spiaggia, tre passi al bar/ristoro. Tutto molto comodo. La spiaggia ampia e piacevole Le stanze sono un po' troppo vicine le une alle altre, questo aspetto non è migliorabile, ma sarebbe utile lasciar scegliere al cliente se vuole una stanza con vista (e quindi più aria) che sono quelle al primo piano, rispetto stanze al piano terra (sia prima che seconda fila) che sono un po' più "affogate" ed hanno meno privacy.

• Chloe (9/5): Amazing stay and beautiful scenery - Gorgeous beach setting and the staff were very accommodating and so friendly. We had never stayed somewhere quite like it! Would definitely stay again. Only a 15 minute walk into main Mazunte so it was well located if you wanted to be away from the main area. The food was good and we had breakfast included which was always super and super filling. It was very hot but it was well advertised that there was no air-con, you were provided a fan instead.

• Gabriela (9/5): Convenient location right on the beach and remember there is no AC - So close to the ocean, beautiful. We had some sewage problems in our room. They did try fixing it, but did not help. The sink was dripping water and made our floor super slippery. We resolved the problem by placing a mat under the sink after they tried fixing it once, we didn’t want to bother again.

• Tiffany (10/5): I will absolutely return. LOVE this place. Total package, great stay from start to finish. :) - Everything was perfect. The room was perfectly outfitted and adorable. Bed & pillows comfortable. Decor was calming and lovely. Room smaller than most but who cares. The accordion doors opened up to the ocean, with a lovely personal patio. Also, someone is on site 24 hours for security, which meant only closing doors to sleep. No need for a larger room. It felt very cozy with doors closed, not stuffy. The bathroom is very spacious and the shower with pebbles under feet felt wonderful. Having room service on my front deck was divine. The little beach side cafe was precious. Food was hit or miss but who cares! The ambience and friendliness of staff was pure perfection! I will absolutely return. In fact, I probably won't want to stay anywhere else. Best mojitos of my entire month long journey. Only steps to the sea... I wish you would change your description to depict fact that WiFi only works in certain areas. I had forgotten that, despite seeing it in reviews. Description makes it seem as if WiFi is available. It's actually only available in a very small perimeter on interior of courtyard. Not even available at the cafe. I was on vacation so it was fine for me but remote workers need to know this, prior to a surprise. I had a wonderful breakfast and a wonderful lunch but the simple veggie pasta I ordered for dinner was truly lousy. Sorry to say it. Everything else was perfect! Good coffee. Fantastic service. Nice people. Just one bad meal & spotty WiFi. I'll take it! I only mention the challenges because you're so close to perfect, thought you'd want to know. Thank you for asking.

• Jenny Appleton (10/5): - It is difficult to describe this incredible beachfront property and experience. The cabanas are so charming, clean, comfortable. You step off of your own personal deck onto the sand. The cute little myna birds frolic in the footpaths. The restaurant food is excellent and the staff are friendly and helpful. The manager, Jesus, is a great communicator, answers questions promptly, and helped work through a couple of minor things for us. The WIFI on the property is unreliable, and the signal is very weak. We tested Un Sueno's speed against several nearby businesses, which all had much better performance. We had to leave the premises in order to check in to our flights due to weak WIFI at the hotel. Un Sueno would benefit from a small investment in better wifi on site.
