• Timothy (8/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again if we have the opportunity to return to Crete. - The location was excellent and views from the balcony are breathtaking. The pool is and poolside bar and restaurant are great. We had one dinner at the Poseidon Dining room which was very nice. The beach is well equipped for water sports or for relaxing and includes a nice patio dining option for lunch. We had several small issues in our room but the staff were responsive to rectify them or provide alternative solutions.

Restaurant Poseidon cuisine crétoise tres bien Plein de petits restaurants aux alentours tres bien (Elounda et Plaka) Location de bateaux sur la petite plage de l’hôtel tres bien . La plage est vraiment tres petite mais on peut se baigner et l’eau est tres belle . Le cadre de cet hôtel et la vue sont magnifiques . Chambre un peu petite et vieillotte. (Chambre supérieure méditerranéenne vue mer ) salle de douche très petite . Produits de douche de qualité tres médiocre pour un 5 étoiles . Service propreté correct sans plus .
• Waldman (7/5): - אני מאד נהנתי מהמלון, הנוף עוצר נשימה, הבריכה והמתקנים נוחים, הצמחייה מטופחת וצוות העובדים מנומסים ומחויכים, ארוחת הבוקר טעימה והאווירה רגועה. נקודת התורפה של המלון זה החדרים עצמם, החדר בגודל סביר אך עם הרבה בעיות: ישנו חלון מול המיטה לנוף מדהים אך הוא היה מטונף ולא היה נעים להביט דרכו, המקלחת קטנה וללא דלת למקלחון כך שכל המים משפריצים החוצה ואז צריך ללכת על רצפה רטובה, ישנו מקוש דלת שמאד מרעיש במיוחד בלילה עם כל תזוזה של הדלת, התאורה של כרטיס החדר מסנוורת את כל החדר בלילה, כמו כן יש מעין צליל קבוע מחוץ לחדר של איזשהו מכשיר שאלץ אותי לישון עם אטמי אוזניים.

• Susanne (4/5): Jag kan inte rekommendera detta hotell. - Bra sängar och tyst air condition. Vackert arkitektoniskt byggt på sluttningen. Personalen var vänlig. Mycket dåligt med förvaring på rummet för kläder och i badrum. Väldigt litet rum. Högljutt brummande kylskåp. Trafikljud. Dålig belysning, speciellt sänglampan. Mycket tråkig matsal och buffé, dessutom väldigt dyr. Tråkig, smaklös frukost.

• Ettore (10/5): Vi peserà ripartire… - La struttura si sviluppa su terrazzamenti in verticale sul crinale di una collina che guarda la baia subito ad ovest dell’isola di Spinalonga (molto vicina). Abbiamo trovato eccellenti sia la sistemazione di base che i servizi offerti (camera e letto molto confortevoli, SPA, palestra completa, spiaggia privata attrezzata, offerta culinaria inclusa la cena a buffet che abbiamo molto apprezzato per qualità e varietà e carta dei vini, piscina, servizi di noleggio imbarcazioni ), lo staff capace di prodigarsi in attenzioni che letteralmente coccolano gli ospiti, posizione appena defilata dal centro di Eloúnda e vicina alle magnifiche spiagge poste a sud di Agiou Nikolau permette di goderne la pace nello spirito di un vero resort. Il bagno in camera ha una porta che cigola di notte se si sceglie di tenere le finestre aperte, abbiamo risolto facilmente interponendo il tappeto… il frigobar è un pó rumoroso

• Valeria (8/5): Ottimo hotel vicino Elounda - Nel complesso siamo rimasti soddisfatti. È un ottimo hotel con una bella piscina e una palestra attrezzata. Le camere sono pulite, la colazione offre una buona varietà di dolci e il personale è cortese e professionale. La blatta di 7 cm appena svegli sulla parete di fronte al letto. L'hotel è molto pulito, però purtroppo abbiamo avuto questo inconveniente che prescinde dalla pulizia. Eliminata quella, non se ne sono viste altre, per fortuna.

Vi skulle vente lang tid til at få kaffee, og personlig betjening generelt var ikke særligt god for et 5 stjærne Hotel. Også betjening ved reception/concierge levede ikke op vores forventninger. Da vi fik fremvist værelset spurgte vi om det var muligt at bruge trapperne til at nå restauranten og reception niveau og vi blev svaret to gange at det eneste måde at komme ned var at ringe receptionen, så der kunne komme en vogn og hente os hver gang. Dagen efter fandt vi træpperne ned, så vi var lidt skuffet over at det blev ikke forklaret, som det skulle.

• eran (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay at Royal Marmin Bay and highly recommend it. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is incredibly relaxing. The private beach is beautiful and well-maintained, the views are absolutely stunning. The spa was a real treat that added to the feeling of indulgence and calm. Breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of fresh and delicious options. The staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and professional, contributing to the overall welcoming and pleasant experience. That said, there are a few areas where the hotel could improve. The welcome drink offered was simply water, which felt underwhelming given the standard of the hotel — a small gesture that could have made a stronger first impression. The internal shuttle service around the property was slow and often unreliable, which was inconvenient given the steep terrain. Also, charging for coffee capsules in the room seems unnecessary for a hotel of this level — it's a small cost that would go a long way in elevating the guest experience. Despite these minor points, our overall impression of Royal Marmin Bay remains very positive. It’s a stunning, peaceful destination that delivers on beauty, comfort, and relaxation. We would happily return and highly recommend it to others.

• John Carruzzo (10/5): Très agréable, bel endroit pour se ressourcer - Situation exceptionnelle, chambre magnifique, plage de l'hôtel magnifique et calme. Seul bémol : la salle de bain pour la chambre supérieure qui est équipée d'une immense baignoire rectangulaire à bord haut en marbre, rendant la douche glissante et dangereuse. En changeant de chambre, qui est cette fois équipée d'une petite piscine extérieure, magnifique, la salle de bain est cette fois-ci conçue de manière très illogique pour un espace très généreux : il n'y a pas de séparation entre les toilettes, le lavabo et la douche. Cette dernière est à l'entrée, sans séparations, et, quand on prend une douche, il est impossible de ne pas mouiller la totalité de la salle de bain, créant une piscine intérieure ! Dangereux en cas d'utilisation d'un appareil électrique . C'est une très mauvaise conception architecturale des salles de bain. Mais, sinon, chambre spacieuse et pratique.

They upgraded our room to make it more comfortable for the pregnancy and were responsive to everything we needed. The food at the restaurants was excellent, and the hotel itself is perfect! Habitacio superior és bastant petita, vam tenir un "malentès" inicial amb l'habitació on, haviem pagat una habitació superior amb teoricament vistes al mar i a l'entrar era fosca i vostes a una paret. Vam demanar un canvi i ena van posar a una habitacio mes petita pero vistes al mar (tot i que amb parets als laterals). No val molt la pena les vistes desde aquestes habitacions pel preu de lhabitació. Tot i aixi Elounda i la zona on es troba lhotel es molt maca i val la pena veure-la.
• Ioannis Dr (10/5): An experience you have to live! - Η θέα ειναι εκπληκτική από όλα τα επίπεδα, η πισίνα πολύ όμορφη, πλούσιο και ποιοτικό πρωινό με πολλές επιλογές, ευγενέστατο προσωπικό με όρεξη να σε εξυπηρετήσουν πάντα και για οτιδήποτε, γυμναστήριο εξαιρετικά καλά εξοπλισμένο (για ξενοδοχείο). Τα εστιατόρια του ξενοδοχείου πολύ καλά με υπέροχη θέα. Η παραλία ακριβώς μπροστά από το ξενοδοχείο δεν είναι η καλύτερη που μπορείς να βρείς στην τριγύρω περιοχή αλλά αυτό δεν είναι πρόβλημα μπορείς εύκολα να βρεις πληθώρα παραλιών σε πολύ κοντινή απόσταση.

Beaucoup de place pour le parking -l’hôtel se situe sur la pente,très difficile de monter/descendre. On est obligé de commander un golf car à chaque fois on fait un pas, c’est pas pour tout le monde. -pour descendre à la plage il y a 3 ascenseurs. Ensuite on traverse la route. C’est long. Surtout quand il fait chaud en été. -la plage est moyen. Pas de sable. C’est très propre,mais faut pas s’attendre à la plage paradisiaque. -beaucoup de personnel sont des lycéens,ils sont mignons,mais ils ne comprennent pas toujours ce qu’on leur dit -les chambres sont un peu fatigués,même si c’est bien entretenus -on nous a déposé 3 lettre-invitations pour les dîners aux restaurants de l’hôtel proposant la remise de 20% sur le menu. Je trouve ça too much. -le petit déjeuner c’est pas le repas et produits proposés par 5 étoiles. Parfois on attend 20 minutes un café C’est l’hôtel 4 étoiles,mais pas 5.

• Maxine Tracey (8/5): - A boutique style hotel with an easy, modern and a chilled vibe. Spent two weeks here B & B. Got a taxi ride into Elounda or Plaka every evening for dinner. Just a lovely, quiet part of Crete that we love.

Super petit déjeuner Attribution d'une chambre ne correspondant pas du tout aux photos en premier lieu. Après une demande de notre part et un changement de chambre c'est rentré dans l'ordre. Mitigé concernant le personnel, certains sont très prévenants, d'autres nettement plus froid et modérément respectueux

• Antje (8/5): Super Lage, sehr gute Restaurants, sonst viel Luft nach oben. - Die beiden a-la-carte-Restaurants waren sehr gut, besonders das griechische - sehr nette und kompetente Bedienung! Auch das Main-Restaurant war gut. Super Lage, kurze Taxifahrten nach Elounda. Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen, das gilt insbesondere für die Zimmer, da ist vieles abgewetzt. Bad ist viel zu klein und es fehlen Ablageflächen, um fünf Sternen gerecht zu werden. Es wurde nicht richtig gut sauber gemacht. Minibar wurde oft nicht aufgefüllt. Wegen der Steillage gibt es Caddys, um zur Rezeption oder ins Restaurant zu kommen. Wir konnten sie jedoch nicht bestellen, da das Telefon auch nach zweimaliger Reklamation nicht funktionierte. Das heißt, Rezeptionspersonal nicht gut.

• Michael (5/5): Nicht unseres - Schön gestaltete Anlage. Tolle Lage mit Panoramablick von Teilen der Anlage aus. Vom Zimmer aus nur, wenn man das "richtige" hat. Teilweise sehr freundliches Personal. Nur ein Auszug: Standard-Zimmer mit Meerblick gebucht. Zimmer 45 erhalten. Sehr klein. Terrasse in einer stark abschüssigen Kurve, in der Hotelkeddy- und Fahrzeugverkehr herrschte. Die Keddys parkten direkt an der Terrasse. Ständiger Lärm von Fahrzeugen, rückwärts fahrenden Keddys (piepen), Funkverkehr, Gästen. Wie in einer Bahnhofshalle. Jeder konnte auf die Terrasse und ins Zimmer gaffen. Wir fühlten uns wie im Zoo. Nachts blinken zwei Kameras bei Bewegung und verwandeln das Zimmer in eine Disco. Meerblick gab's auch nicht wirklich, nur seitlich und im Stehen. Im Sitzen schaut man vor satiniertes Glas. Das Zimmer dürfte gar nicht angeboten werden. Wir haben es beanstandet und ein höherwertiges gegen Aufpreis erhalten. Das hatte Licht und Schatten. Insgesamt sieben Schalter am Bett für (kaltweißes) Lichtgedöns in der Decke verhinderten bei uns eher, dass wir jeweils den gewünschten Schalter fanden und überhaupt Licht nutzten. Keine Garderobe, nur vier Bügel im Schrank, bei Ankunft nicht sauber usw. Die Preise im Hotel sind extrem hoch. Kaffee wird beim Frühstück serviert, wir mussten nach jedem Nachschlag fragen. Frühstück mit guter Auswahl, allerdings jeden Tag die selbe. Das Poolwasser war grünlich-trüb, nach einem Regen verschmutzt, wurde nicht vollständig gereinigt und erst nach einigen Tagen wieder klarer. Am Ende wurde uns die vorab bereits entrichtete Tax nochmals in Rechnung gestellt und auch ein Room-Service, den es nie gegeben hatte. Nach Aufklärung gab's eine neue Rechnung, aber kein Wort des Bedauerns. Schade.

• Anna (10/5): Lovely views - The property had beautiful sea views and a great pool and beach. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was nice. There’s a choice of multiple restaurants too. They charge for everything in the room including the coffee capsules! I think it would be fair to give one bottle of water a day. The property is on a hill so you either have to take a lot of stairs or call for the golf cart to drive you. This is not necessarily a bad thing but something to be aware of.
• Janie (8/5): Beautiful, well maintained hotel with excellent beach, pool and breakfast - The hotel is lovely - I honestly don’t think Ive ever stayed anywhere as spotlessly clean, the facilities are great, pool is beautiful as is the small beach and staff are friendly and welcoming. The hotel is extremely steep but a series of lifts and golf carts mean you don’t really have to do any walking and there was complimentary wine and water on our first night. Breakfast buffet was wide ranging and tasty. Drinks and food by the beach were lovely, it’s expensive but that’s expected for a hotel like this. For me what changes a hotel from good to great is the details and design. Our room was quite small, the bathroom was incredibly dark, with both lights on I could barely see - difficult for removing contact lenses at night! We were given 2 hair conditioners and 2 body lotions but no shampoo and these were never replenished over our 4 night stay. we were by both restaurants and our balcony was on the corner so as people drove in and out of the hotel we felt overlooked as a result we didn’t really use it. There is a sign in reception telling guests what’s on but it’s not accurate and the reception staff, though friendly, didn’t know what was happening either when asked.

• OLENA (10/5): - Самый красивый отель в Элунде. Восхитительный вид из номера на залив, Спинолонгу и другие острова. Очень вежливый и услужливый персонал делают этот отель незабываемым. Завтраки разнообразны и очень вкусные. Запомнилась "живая" музыка, когда кто-то играл на рояле, во время отдыха у бассейна днём в первый день отпуска. Номера просторные и уютные. Не всегда спортзал был открыт в указанные рабочие часы (7.00-19.00)

• Omri (9/5): Great value for money!! - Very good breakfast! Great view. Staff is super attentive. Large pool and pool area. Very quiet! The pool was a bit cold. In some parts of the room the ceiling is low (if you are over 1.9m it might not be comfortable). It's only in certain rooms.
• Tom (9/5): נוף מדהים למפרץ של אלונדה, שקט ושלווה, מושלם לזוגות - ארוחת בוקר מצויינת. הג'קוזי בחדר היה מושלם וגם הנוף משגע. צוות נחמד ושירותי מאוד, קיבלנו מענה זריז לכל נושא. שקט, שלווה ואין ילדים תודה לאל! חדר המקלחת 1. היה חלון קטן שפונה ישירות למרפסת של החדר הסמוך, כלומר אם יש מישהו במרפסת הוא צופה עליך במקלחת, תכנון פשוט הזוי!!! שמנו מגבת על החלון וסגרנו שלא יראו והיה בסדר, אבל עדיין פגע מעט בחוויה. 2. הדלת לחדר המקלחת היא פשוט דלת של ארון ואין ידית מפנים החדר, פשוט כל פעם שאתה יוצא מהמקלחת כאילו יצאת מהארון וגם לא נוח לסגור את הדלת מבפנים,לפחות תתקינו ידית, מוזר!
