- Alon (6/5): Better to look elsewhere - The hotel is beautifully decorated both in the lobby and in the room, with a very good shower The floor makes a really loud noise when you walk on it, you can also hear it from other places, the town itself is very unpleasant and unsympathetic. There are no places to eat in the area and there is no breakfast at the hotel
- Edward (10/5): - I don’t think a breakfast was offered at our stay. There was a coffee machine, but it was a little confusing to use. I was surprised you didn’t have a fancy or European style coffee maker. Keurig is convenient, but meh. The tea selection could’ve been better and I know it sounds picky but having a little honey there at the tea station would’ve been nice too. The rooms were fantastic and very well appointed, however, the high ceilings created a warm-up delay. I would say on the cooler days or nights when guests are coming in turn up the heat prior to their arrival.

- Thomas (10/5): We had a restful, delightful stay, pleasantly surprised about the quality of the venue. - The location was central to the activities and destinations which we attended. The hotel was very nicely appointed and unique. Although we were able to check in a little early, the communication about the actual check in was a bit confusing. We ended up waiting in the lobby for an extended time, thinking we were able to check in even earlier based on some misinformation from front desk staff.

- LetsGoMets-NJ (10/5): Wonderful relaxing stay in the Berkshires - This a wonderful, warm, unique hotel. The rooms decor are both soothing and welcoming. Having stayed in many different room, each one is delightful. The fresh coffee in room, robes, and wonderful shower features make The Hotel on North truly remarkable. I always stay here when visiting family instead of the many brand hotels in the area.
- lisaaD5232CU (10/5): Excellent Service, Very Clean! - We just returned from a very pleasant stay at Hotel on North. My daughter had doctor's appnts M-W at Berkshire Medical Center. A snow storm was hitting the area starting Sunday so we flew out Saturday to beat the storm. The hotel was 1/2 mile to the doctor. Many area restaurants and business closed during the storm. The front desk employee (I didn't get his name), was making a list of all area restaurants staying open and coordinated with them to deliver to the hotel. He even tracked down a couple Door Dash drivers who said they'd serve the hotel guests during the storm. I was concerned about retrieving our car in the parking lot for our appnt. Monday morning after more than 2 ft of snow hit the area. The snow plow was going all night, and that morning, the hotel's VP of Ops and maintenance person were plowing, shoveling, and even wiped off all the guests' cars. Having Liberty Pizza across the street made for a quick and cheap pick-up or delivery -- and the food was very good! The restaurant in the hotel is also very good with a pleasant atmosphere. The hotel (including rooms, bathrooms) were spotless, and all of the employees were very nice and helpful. You can see they're commitment and was very much appreciated.

- Timothy (7/5): We enjoyed the accommodations, staff, and the "Rare 297 restaurant! - We did not hear of any breakfast offers at the hotel. We did have complimentary coffee. The hotel itself was comfortable. The staff we encountered were friendly, & at times helpful. We would consider staying again, some time. My wife really enjoyed the odor of the hotel lobby. She was told it was their "signature" scent. No staff member would tell us what it is. The downtown area on North Street was a bit depressing. Not many things to visit in downtown Pittsfield.

- Kathy (10/5): Exceeded expectations! - Very clean, spacious rooms. Note that the hardwood floors, though pretty, are loud if someone gets up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. Our room faced North Street, which was a bit loud and bright during the night, though wouldn't be an issue for someone used to city/in-town living.

The food was incredible and our bartender was knowledgeable about the menu and was eager to please. I love that they use glass instead of plastic wherever possible. The hotel is very organic and boutique like. Definitely will be coming back!

It is in the downtown area and can be loud at night with cars etc. Pittsfield has a small city vibe a little depressed but seems to be a nice city with neat artictecture.

Clean updated rooms, we didn’t have much luck with the restaurant downstairs which was surprising but everything else was great the staff was helpful with info of the spares as well .

We particularly like the unique historic character of the former department store building. When I stepped into my room, I felt I had walked into a soothing refuge. Your decorators knew just how to balance the aesthetics with furnishings, art work, etc. Every detail was perfect - the room temperature, the comfortable bed, the quietness, etc. I will definitely recommend the Hotel North to anyone traveling to the Pittsfield area. Good job everyone!

- Hugh (10/5): Hotel with Character & A Great Steakhouse - This hotel has a lot more character than chain places on the highway, and parking was easy in the lot behind the hotel. Staff was friendly and efficient, the rooms were large and well-decorated, and the restaurant on the ground floor was top-notch.

- Laura (10/5): - This is an incredible hotel: one of the absolute BEST hotels I have booked in years. It is very unique, only about 20 minutes from Tangelwood, and it gorgeous. I booked a premium room and it was HUGE: very large room w high ceilings, massive bathroom, very clean. I will definitely return to this hotel with every tangelwood booking.
- Thomas (8/5): - Very friendly and accommodating staff (especially Andrew). Very clean and spacious room. We had a junior suite. In room coffee was excellent. Older building with hardwood floors. If not on top floor you are likely to hear people walking in the room above. My only complaint. Also while not part of the hotel, the adjacent restaurant offers fine cuisine in a chic Setting. Access directly from a hotel sitting room.
