- LIUDMILA (1/5): Очень крутой подъем вверх, чтобы дойти в центр, около километра - Никакого проживания не было!!! Была договоренность об оплате при заселении, а когда я приехала, мне сообщили, что бронь отменена. За неделю до заселения я была в море, в круизе, у меня не было связи и я ничего не могла знать о каких-либо сообщениях на мой электронный адрес. Все вопросы можно было решить гораздо раньше, а не за сутки до заселения и не снимать бронь!!!

- Братко (10/5): Очень уютный, чистый, атмосферный, в турецком стиле отель - Просторный номер с кухней, атмосферный ресторан, в котором каждое утро сервировали завтраки по-турецки, очень приветливый персонал, респект большой менеджеру Карине, которая владеет русским языком и охотно делилась справочной информацией. Отель расположен рядом с главными достопримечательностями Стамбула-Султанахмет, Голубая мечеть и др. Можно дойти за 10-15 мин, можно подъехать на трамвае. До набережной вдоль моря 5-7 мин ходьбы. Много ресторанов, кафе, магазинов рядом. Отель рекомендую- очень уютно, чисто, вкусно и атмосферно. Нет
- Aleksandr (1/5): - Ничего Приехали утром в 9:00 заселяться в номер. Нам сказали погулять до 14:00. Я переспросил, всё ли в порядке, готов был оплатить сразу, на что мне сказали, нет погуляйте. В итоге в назначенное время мы пришли, и нам отказали в проживании а наш номер передали другому. Сославшись на проблемы с нашей картой, хотя я ещё утром был готов сразу всё оплатить. Пришлось искать другую гостиницу. В общем персонал дно, гостиницу не рекомендуем.

Потрясающий персонал, готовы всегда помочь, с юмором и заботой относятся к своим постояльцам. Внизу собственный ресторан, всё было очень вкусно. Обязательно ещё вернёмся. У нас был эконом номер, комнату и душевую можно немного освежить ремонтом. Супер люкс ничем не отличался от эконом номера, только чуть-чуть был по новее

Managerka hotelu powiedziała, ze jest w remoncie i nie wiadomo kiedy dostaniemy nowy pokój. Następnego dnia otrzymaliśmy pokój z balkonem, natomiast w obu pokojach było brudno i unosił się nieprzyjemny zapach. Nie jesteśmy wybredni tak było na prawdę niedosprzątane. Hotel sam w sobie ma klimat ale jest brud.... Wymaga generalnego sprzątania aby mial lepszą ocenę. * W pokojach z kuchnią z produktów nie było nic. Przydałaby się sól, pieprz oraz lokalna turecka herbata i juz człowiek inaczej by się tam czul. Naczynia były niepodobywane i najzwyczajniej brudne... Managerka bardzo kręciła niejednokrotnie, udając zaskoczona ze nie ma czegoś w pokoju, co bardzo nas zniesmaczyło. Patrząc na całość nie wrócilibyśmy tam ponownie.
- Kiwus (10/5): Polecam - Jesteśmy bardzo zadowoleni. Apartament duży, pełne wyposażenie (suszarka czy całe wyposażenie kuchni). Łóżka wygodne ogrzewanie/chłodzenie działa dobrze. Drobne detale można by poprawić ale stosunek ceny do jakości ewidentnie na plus. Największym plusem jest zdecydowanie obsługa. Zawsze chętnie pomagali w każdej sytuacji, znają wiele języków i zawsze są pod ręką. Można by dokręcić krany i urozmaicić śniadanie ale to drobiazgi.

- Marcin (9/5): Very friendly atmosphere. - Very good value for money. Great location. The hotel is comfortable, and the breakfast was tasty and satisfying. The biggest highlight, however, was the amazing staff, especially the gentlemen working in the restaurant on the ground floor. They were incredibly kind, friendly, and always willing to help, which made our stay feel much more pleasant and welcoming. We truly appreciated their attitude and hospitality. A great place to stay and one we would happily recommend.

- Курочкина (6/5): - Плюсы - Хорошее месторасположение. Всё очень близко и достопримечательности и метро и автобус В отеле 2 здания, мы были во втором. Очень крутая лестница без перил. С чемоданом подняться и спуститься нереально. Очень скудные завтраки. Не было даже хлопьев и молока. Молоко только сухое и то не всегда. В номере плохо стекла вода в душе и протекает труба в кухонной раковине. И ещё- под окнами ресторан и песни до 3 часов ночи практически каждый день.

- Natalia (1/5): Отвратительное хамство! - Ничего! Отвратительный владелец объекта! Нагло аннулировал бронь в ДЕНЬ ЗАЕЗДА! Зная, что гости уже летят в Стамбул! Врал, что не может обработать 2 (ДВЕ) карты, что они обе недействительны! Этими картами оплатили трансфер и другой отель, они отлично работают! Хамил по телефону, бросал трубку, игнорировал все сообщения как в переписке на букинге, так и в вотсап. Очевидно, наш номер был продан кому-то другому! Так хоть бы сказал об этом, нет же, тянул до последнего (видимо, чтобы не нарваться на штрафы от букинга) 1000 раз подумайте прежде чем связываться с таким неадекватом!

- Daniele (1/5): ⭐ 1/5 – Awful stay and completely unprofessional management - Location but the area is very noisy until 2-3 am Our regretful 9-night stay at the First Ottoman Hotel was extremely disappointing. We faced one issue after another, and the staff showed no care or accountability. The hotel area is extremely noisy. The bathrooms were very old, with visible leaks, broken doors, and bad odours. The 4th floor building had no lift. We also had a major leak that flooded our room and soaked our belongings. Our large toilet-paper pack was ruined and later went missing, and no one took responsibility. The electricity went off three times in one day, including in the afternoon & between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m., and no one was available to help. It was finally fixed after two follow-ups, but we couldn’t use the shower for a whole day because of the darkness. After fixing the issue, the bathroom was left extremely dirty and smelly, and although Karine later cleaned it, she left the toilet rim and sink filthy — which we had to clean ourselves. What a fun thing to do on holiday! 😒 The manager/owner refused to offer any compensation, so we had to go through Booking.com’s complaint process, spending time on multiple calls during our holiday to get support. Karine was also rude and dismissive throughout, refusing to apologise or take any responsibility. Overall, this stay was stressful, unhygienic, and unpleasant. We felt unsafe and disrespected the entire time. This is a genuine review from avid travellers, Avoid this hotel at all costs.
- Ati (1/5): 1/5 – Very disappointing stay - Location but was a noisy area Our experience at this hotel was quite poor. Despite providing a valid card with sufficient funds, our booking was almost cancelled at the last minute, which caused a lot of unnecessary stress and frustration. On the first day, our room wasn’t ready, so we were moved to a temporary room and then had to move again to another one the next day. The shower barely worked and left a pool of water on the floor every time. The facilities are old and not well maintained, and the area is extremely noisy, making it hard to rest. The staff didn’t seem motivated or interested in helping guests - no effort to make us feel welcome or ensure a positive experience. Overall, it felt like guest satisfaction simply wasn’t a priority. Definitely wouldn’t stay here again.

I fully recommend this place. - Great location very close to the center with life going on on the street till late evening, with life music in the restaurants. Great atmosphere, open, friendly and helpful staff, speaking English. I came by private car, the staff quickly found a secured private parking within 300meters for 10Euro/day. Hotel restaurant very good with prices little higher than average but the food is delicious. Besides as a hotel guest I had a big and good breakfast included and 10% discount for other meals. The apartment is a little old and needs some small retrofits. However I liked the old style and it would be good to keep it like that. If someone wants a real quiet place and doesn't like the life music and parties till around midnight should consider something different. For me actually it was a great plus ;-).

- Vera (7/5): We really enjoyed it - The location is amazing. In the middle of walking streets with the restaurants and shops. Walking distance to the train station, tram station and the seaside, - we really enjoyed walking along the seaside. The breakfast was good, we stayed there for a week, but liked it as much as at the first day. Eggs, veggies, bread, cheese, etc. The staff is the best, very friendly and helpful. They provide transfer from the airports, but we used subway and it was fine thanks to the good location. I can genuinely recommend it for a short tourist visit. Everything was described in previous reviews, so there were no surprises for us, but just a few notes for next guests. There is a mold in the bathroom, the stairway is really narrow, I mean really!, but the staff allowed us to keep our stroller downstairs. Anyway it might be challenging for senior tourists. It is walking distance to the tram station, but there is quite a steep climb. It was better to use a train station nearby.

- Gerardo (7/5): Nice and convenient place. - The property was very comfortable and the location was great to get around Istanbul. As The TV signal did not work and staff sent to help us fix it was not nice about the situation and only said the problem with the signal was an outage issue in the city and it was never fixed during our whole stay.

Location is great - historic places, tram station, seafood market are nearby. A great view on the Marmara sea from the top terrace. Kitchen facilities were good to prepared a dinner. Beware that breakfasts would start earliest at 9 30 .

- Les (7/5): Wouldn’t use again unless cold water issue resolved. I, like most travellers, need to shower - Size of room and room temp were excellent as was the location. Just a 20 min walk to trams central bazaar etc Around the immediate area we were spoilt for choice for places to eat No cups for hot drinks but more importantly, the shower was far too hot to use. I raised the issue of no cold water flow to either sink cold taps or to mixer unit for shower, I went to Turkish baths and spa just to get showered

- Jawed (6/5): Not Bad. - The location is nice and good restaurants around. Every night music at the restaurant downstairs is really disturbing. It starts evenings and last until midnight which is not for families or those willing to sleep earlier at night.
- Gvantos (5/5): Passable - Authentic interior with friendly staff. The bed linen and towels were clean, the room overall was not dirty. Beds were comfortable for sleeping. The room was heated too and there was always hot water. Nice restaurant on the first floor with not high prices (besides, there is a discount for hotel guests). From 8 pm till 1 am, very loud music started with Turkish songs. The singers give it their all as if it were their last time. So this place is cool for those who come to Turkey to hang out and aren't going to sleep. However, we came there with other goals so to sleep was very difficult. We thought it happens mostly in high season but probably the whole year and every day 😄 From disadvantages there were: - no slippers - no shampoo - no drinking water in the room upon arrival - no access for a taxi, you have to walk to a hotel - breakfast was very poor but edible

- Mounsef (1/5): This is the worst experience I've ever had on Booking, I highly DO NOT recommend this hotel. - The staff were a bit kind They gave me another room, not the one that I saw on photos and booked and when I talked to them about this, they pretended that they have renovations ongoing in the room that I booked. The room I got was horrible and it smelled like sewers all the time. Breakfast was poor. The managers are not professional at all, I asked them for an invoice and they told me that they can't provide it to me without giving any reason why. At night, it was too noisy.

- Samata (8/5): It’s a great place to stay at for its location and value for money. - I loved the location and the value for money. I didn’t like the breakfast and the fact that I had to carry my suitcase up and down the spiral staircase w/o assistance.
- Andrei (7/5): Great value for money and nice vibes but a bit shabby and undermaintained. - The location was great and the Turkish vibe of the room was jut what we were looking for. The soundproofing was very good. The beads were also very comfortable and we had and used the TV, fridge, small kitchen and air conditioning. The hosts were also very helpful and did set us up with decently priced parking after we unloaded our luggage. For us it was great value for money and we enjoyed the adventure, at the same time, the room had extensive water damage covered up by paint. The shower was in bad condition and the door wouldn't close. The bathroom stayed wet almost the entire time and there was a funky smell coming from the cupboard under the sink, even though the trashcan was empty.

Did not expect this from booking.com I will use some other option for m - The Lenin was not cleaned properly and burnt comforters were provided. House keeping come once during the stay of 6 days. Even that was not done properly. Light were not sufficient specially in bathroom. Lenin was not cleaned even burnt comforters were provided. Stinking bathroom and comforters. No wiper was provided and leaked waters from shower was stored beside toilet. No mirror was provided in bed room the one available in washroom was having no light. Even I complaint for lights was told the there are enough lights available.

- Shuaib (8/5): Good - Big room. Enough space. Close to Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. As advertised Though it’s close to the Blue Mosque area, it’s quite a walk. The surroundings are very noisy, especially during the night with loud music and singing in the area. You could enjoy it, but not so much if you want to go to sleep!

All the major sights were at walking distance. Staff here are wonderful and helpful. Special thanks to Karina. Breakfast needs definitely improving with a few more items added on to it and having a variety each day. Juice and water was missing.

Beds as described - Loud live music (including drums) playing in the restaurant below every weeknight finishing approximately 11pm to midnight - could still hear this through ear plugs. - shower head was horrible, leaking in all directions and leaving the floor soaked after every shower. Also no hot water in the bathroom sink - breakfast included is verry basic, not even bread/cereal available (would’ve preferred this) - WiFi intermittently stopped working for hours at a time - very inconvenient when trying to work remotely. - while it is a good area of Istanbul to be located, this place is 15 mins uphill walk to the nearest tram, not horrible but not ideal location either

All tourist attractions are on walking distance. Very cosy and small. Need a lil bit renovation because so many things are broken there e.g in bathroom towel hanger and toilet flush system. And no lift but I am ok with this.
