juliette (9/5): Overnight in Newport - The room was spacious and clean. We loved having a stocked fridge of water, juice and milk at our disposal in the room. The Continental bkft was delivered to our room. The pasteries were delivered warm and flaky and the yogurt parfaits were delicious. Shower was hot and the water pressure was great. We have a purple mattress at home so in that dept we are a little used to a certain mattress. We did sleep ok but missed our bed at home.

The place is super cozy with only 8 rooms in the Inn with the small town feel! The staff is really friendly and amazing! Their breakfast comes to your room door which is amazing; and DELICIOUS! Carmen was very nice and thoughtful by asking us ahead of time if any of us had any allergies for breakfast. Such a beautiful place, I never liked a place like this before; would definitely stay here again and again! Nothing

Jean (9/5): The Bouchard Inn is a place I would highly recommend to family and friends. - The rooms were well appointed and very clean. Breakfast delivered to our door was a real treat, and delicious! The small details make such a huge difference. The cloth napkins and place settings, the dishes, and stocked fridge all add to the experience. Even the note about noise and the ear plugs made you feel “cared for”.

Nicole (10/5): Perfect stay in Newport - I have never stayed in a Bed and Breakfast before, and this experience will ensure I will absolutely stay again!! I was so incredibly impressed with the thoughtfulness of the stay. The restaurant/check in area was very cute. Upon reception I was brought to my room to ensure the code to enter my room was working and I was just so impressed by the room. It was so cute, the bed was comfortable and the amenities included in the room were lovely. The products smelled great, there was a Keurig with K-cups provided, there was dishware provided as well and a mini fridge with complementary beverages. I appreciated the tourist maps that were also provided on the table. The room was also nice and cool temperature wise. I loved the location, it was very centrally located so I was able to adventure around to check out the sites and restaurants. It was also nice and close to the warf. Parking in Newport is not easy, but it was very easy with plentiful spots in the lot that was located at the rear of the building, this also made bringing luggage in a breeze. 10/10 would recommend and will stay again for sure! Please resolve the wall/floor heater - room was very clean, breakfast was great, location was perfect for what we wanted to accomplish while we were there. We could not figure out how to turn the wall/floor heaters off in the room. We did not turn them on. The airflow caused a plastic bag nearby to fall and it melted the plastic bag in one area. Could have easily caused a fire. Please make your customers aware of how to turn them on and off.

The Lilac room with two beds was clean, but unfortunately backs up to O’Brien’s Pub, which has a rowdy crowd until 1 a.m. While the downstairs restaurant, Audette, is a gem, the Bouchard Inn is in an unfortunate location. Besides the noise, wifi was weak and the AC was loud. If you don’t run the AC, the room is unbearably hot. Breakfast is pastry; would have liked fresh coffee. The room has a Keurig with limited choices.

It was an unexpected surprise that made our stay that much better, the suite was clean, delicious pastries were at our door each morning, accommodating food allergies. The location of the hotel is in walking distance to many shops and restaurants and provided off street parking. Can't wait to go back soon!! Give this 5 stars!!

Reuben M. (7/5): An "OK" location for a short stay but it wouldn't be a repeat location for me - A good location that was relatively close to the harbor as well as the Mansions. The room was clean with a limited view of the harbor. The bed was very high and I actually had to put my foot on the bed frame to get in. it was very comfortable. The inn's restaurant looked very nice with a very good menu selection. I would try it if we were in the area again. Lot's of restaurants & shops along the street. The hotel is right next to O'Brians restaurant and music was constantly blaring. In some instances all you could hear was a continual "Thump" of a bass guitar driving a rap song. We found to sets of earplugs and a printed note saying the location (busy street) can be noisy...Really! The Bathroom was very narrow and there was a single sink with very little room to even keep a shaving kit...(yet another excuse to not shave...hah). The Air conditioner was a window unit mounted high on the outside wall. When it was cooling it would blow the air in a circular motion around the room. Personally I can't take cold air blowing over my face when I sleep. I had to keep it on a higher setting and low fan speed. For me, It was "OK" for a one night stay but I would want to be there for more than that length,
Lemay (10/5): Highly recommend - The location was perfect. The staff were exceptional. The room was clean and comfortable. We could not have asked for a better place to stay in Newport. Honestly there wasn't anything we did not enjoy about our visit.
Kayley (10/5): Charming coastal stay! Amazing for a weekend getaway!! - Excellent location, close to all shop and restaurants. The bed was SO comfortable and the entire aesthetic of the property was charming and inviting. When we woke up, our breakfast was waiting for us at our door - freshly baked apple turnovers and a yogurt parfait! We were so pleasantly surprised, and they were delicious! Walls are a little thin so noise travels. Although it was a bit loud at some points, we still had a great sleep.

Katharina (9/5): zentral und individuell im Herzen von Newport - "Lilac" Familienzimmer: im ersten Stock, sehr schön und individuell eingerichtet, zwar oberhalb eines Pub-Biergartens, jedoch keine Beeinträchtigung durch Lärm bei geschlossenem Fenster bzw. mit den Ohropax, die auf dem Nachttisch liegen ;-) Pflegeprodukte im Bad, Klimaanlage, Parkplatz hinter dem Haus, superzentrale Lage zu Shops, Restaurants, Hafen, Cliff Walk etc Frühstück kam morgens vor die Tür, zum Essen auf dem Zimmer oder zum Mitnehmen (warme Apfeltasche, leckerer frischer Jogurt mit Früchten), Kaffeemaschine und Pods auf dem Zimmer Haus generell sehr schön und sehr gute, zentrale Lage Wenn überhaupt war mit vier Personen etwas wenig Platz für Gepäck, aber sonst war alles prima!

Chris (3/5): Blah not good - It had a restaraunt The room had a purifier in it when arrived and one hour in the room we started coughing like crazy and the air was heavy, we never slept hardly at all due to breathing issues from the room and there was significant mold and mildew in the bathroom on the ceiling and wall corners there was obviously something wrong with the air quality we left the B&B at 6am and once out side started to be able to breathe again. Definitely they were hiding something with the air purifier in the room which I thought was odd in the beginning and not to mention Bar next door.

Meng (8/5): Our stay at the Bouchard - Lovely warm room. Convenient parking. Wonderful stars, helpful and very pleasant. That I was charged the last day before I arrived at reception desk. This is not a standard procedure. I left a deposit...most hotels will keep your card on file but not put anything through without your signature. Our request to have the final bill on two credit cards was not done... when I asked if they could remove the charge and re-do, I was told it was too difficult. For an establishment charging $400+ a night, that's not a very good policy.

The pastries brought to our room each morning were excellent! The room was very nice and clean. The water pressure for the shower was a little low and I prefer a memory foam mattress but the bed was still comfortable.

I don’t know if the woman we spoke to was the owner, but she was amazing- she had restaurant recommendations and told us where to go to walk around the town.
Cheryl (10/5): - Small, comfortable inn. We were offered the penthouse and took it. Although it was up three flights, it was an easy walk. We were able to enjoy a large balcony, living room, bedroom and bath. The morning breakfast of fruit parfait and pastry left at the door was excellent. Nice walkable location to shopping and restaurants on the waterfront. And on site parking was a bonus.
