• kery (10/5): Cute Clean Rustic Hotel - This cute rustic hotel features grounds and an eco-friendly garden with mature trees. The suite was clean and cool (which was especially essential during the heat wave). It is pet friendly, so if you have been travelling long distances with your pet, the staff are quick to process you and get you resting. So quiet. The best and most comfortable sleep I've had in quite some time. Thank you so much.

• Greg (6/5): Terrible - Entrance to the rooms have crumbling concrete which made it hard to get in the room, i have a boot onmy right foot and had a really hard time. I would never go back there, we also had to give them a deposit in cash (American money)

On sent un peu l'humidité en rentrant, mais ça s'estompe en faisant aérer. Une table et 2 chaises. le frigo et micro-ondes sont vraiment utiles, on a pu y prendre notre petit déjeuner. C'est bien pour une nuit et pour le prix.

Walking distance within a convience store and a few restaurants. My only issue I had was I wish they had parking spots marked as it was kind of the wild west of parking.
• Don Thiwanka (10/5): Great although had low expectations - Im writing this review, as I had very low expectations going in. Suprisingly the room was very clean. The sheets and towels were laundered. Floor was new. Was a basic yet very comfortable stay.

• Bruce (10/5): - This motel is a not new - and shows it's age - however it is clean and comfortable. We stayed one night and it was perfect for that. No worries. Btw it took about 45 mins to get to the bell center - 1 bus and a subway - they do not take cash on the bus, but the driver let us on and we bought the tickets from the machine at the station. It was good.
• V (4/5): - The employees were really nice and polite, but the property was rundown. The floors were dirty, the furniture was old and dirty. I wish them good luck, but unfortunately i would not go back

While its nothing fancy, it definitely has a very homie place with a great feeling and atmosphere for anyone looking for a place to stay in Montreal without spending a heck of a lot of money. Nice, quiet neighborhood too, with restaurants and citybuses nearby. Also, convenient for people who dont have cars (like me). The lady at the desk was extremely kind and helpful. I definitely recommend this place. In fact, I've chosen this place on 2 separate occasions.

• Jennette (2/5): - Nothing to like here!! Very outdated - impossible to clean without renos. Carpet is so worn and stained we didn’t take shoes off. Bathroom was not clean. Worst of all the linens had not been changed- we found an open condom wrapper under the pillow!!! When reported to front desk, excuses were made. We were finally offered another room but their was zero acknowledgement or responsibility taken. I was forbidden to talk to owner/manager and was told I could take the issue up with police if I wanted to pursue it.
• Alexandre (6/5): - It was the cheapest I could find. I like bargains and I'm not fancy. But I will reconsider that in the future. The place is a hovel. It's decrepit. Clean, perhaps, but stained carpets, crumbling plaster and mildewed caulkings. I didn't take a shower, it was too yucky to touch. You have to be in a hard place to choose this.

If u need a cheap place to rest your head at night this place fulfills that function. This motel is old and dingy and basic......but itll serve your basic lodging needs which is all i needed
• Verified traveler (4/5): Needs updating - I'm pretty flexible and easy-going, so when I needed a room for a quick, one-night solo stay (literally just to sleep), I didn't hesitate to book a cheap motel - I've enjoyed stays in many motels. The woman at the front desk was very kind and got me checked in and checked out without any issues. She was lovely. I got a room on the second floor with a single double-bed. The condition of the building in general are poor, it's in desperate need of some updating. The carpets were old, smelly and crusted with dirty in the corners. It did not feel very clean - it would probably be an issue for anyone with allergies. The bed was good enough, the street sounds weren't too loud, and the parking was easy. Wifi was not consistent, but after an hour outage, it finally worked enough to watch some netflix. There is a TV, small table with a couple chairs and a working fridge in the mini-room (I was grateful for the fridge). I wouldn't book again or recommend it, but it's room with a bed and a locked door that is probably good enough for some laid-back, easy single guys on the road in search of a budget room.

• Verified traveler (4/5): - The only thing viable about this place is the price. On a hot summer day the air conditioner was not working, felt like staying inside a sauna. Bed spreads were worn out, pillows were barely pillow like and very uncomfortable. Lighting was unflattering and was made up with having real flimsy curtains which again on a hot summer day didnt do much to keep the sunlight out. This was by far the worst listed expedia hotel I have stayed at. Wonder how it made the cut!

• Verified traveler (4/5): Old motel needing renos - This motel desperately needs updating. Beds were uncomfortable and A/C unit was so noisy we couldn't sleep well at night. I think EXPEDIA needs to do a better job checking out hotels before affiliating their name to some. Will definitely not stay there again!!
• Adrian (2/5): Brutal - Check in and check out was pleasant. No fire alarm. Broken ac unit with filthy filter i had to clean. Toilet was leaking from bottom, puddling around the drain. In middle of bathroom. 1 roll of toiletpaper Front door not sealed. Crack at bottom. Moist dirty carpet. Bring slippers. See thru front door and window curtains. I can't believe Expedia would actually advertise this motel. I feel ripped off.

• Mark (8/5): Old but functional - The decor is dated but facility is well-maintained. The Wi-Fi did not function. Security is somewhat of a concern because the hotel still uses old-fashioned metal keys that can be duplicated, not electronic key cards.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Good deal for the money! - My son and I came for the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Montreal. Within an hour we were at the track, using only public transportation. Plenty of restaurants and shopping places along Rue Sherbrooke. For the amount of money I spent, I can't complain. Beds are comfortable. The only "complaint": They do not provide shampoo for the shower.
• Verified traveler (2/5): not good - Worn out facility inside and out. table at room entrance had crumbs still and table cloth had burn holes all over. window would not close and lock normally. a lick of paint and look and smell of clean would go a long way. could not get tv to work, only radio channels. shower water fluctuates temperature. internet issues at times. overall had a feeling of uneasiness in the room. would not stay again. sorry.
• al (4/5): not that good - Outdated, bathroom had a tiny vanity and old shower, exhaust fan squeeqy, toilet found stained with urine as if it wasn't cleaned, bed linens dirty. Beds uncomfortable. Only good if you needed a place to spend the night not more. Has decent WiFi thou, front desk nice.

• Sharon (10/5): Convenient and clean hotel - On the first day we didn't have the cable working, but the lady from the front desk "Lee" came all over to your room and tried to help, but it wasn't happening, but the next day the cable person came all went fine we were very happy with the services and would like to thank Lee, Jenifer and her husband for all the hard work they did to keep us comfortable.

• Eugene (2/5): Fine attempt to squeeze 2 beds into broom cupboard - When I travel with friend and want two separate beds, I expect the room of decent size. This one wasn't. One bed stands right at the window's A/C! So I have a choice of either a pneumonia or a night it a sweaty room. And there's no windows I can open for fresh air either!!! Another thing, reception closes at 11pm, so if you arrive late, your key will be waiting for you on the door lintel.
• Sabyasachi (2/5): worst stay in our whole life; try to avoid - We have the worst experience in our life time. Room is big. Location is good. But it was very old. Not upgraded for last 10 years (or more). We did not get wifi connection though it was stated clearly as a part of offering. When we talked to management they stated that this is not part of offer. Looks like we are staying there for free!! We are visiting from USA. We do not want to pay roaming fees for data through cell phone (internet connection). We have to change our plan as we could not figure out the route and plan details due to lack of internet connection. This hotel is over 20 miles from downtown area. No tour bus will pickup from hotel. So we have parked our car in downtown area with $20 per day. You may pay some extra bucks and stay in downtown area in a better hotel. We have seen spiders crawling everywhere in the room. They offered us to change the room. But looking from outside it looks like all of them are similar. They have charged more than market rate at this area. We have booked through hotels.com and we will request for a full refund of our money.
• PABLO (6/5): Cheap Motel to spend a night - Decent Motel to spend a night if you're driving to Montreal, to avoid paying the extra cost of staying near the downtown.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Not a fan… - On the first night room smelled of smoke. Thin walls extremely easy to hear the conversation in the other room. No wifi, no breakfast
• Josh (2/5): Don't bother. It's not worth the price. - We arrive around 10pm and rented two non smoking rooms. One of the rooms smelled as if someone was smoking just recently inside. The showers is small at around 6 ft in height. I could just barely was myself in. There nothing special about rooms. A tv from the early 90s. The motel was in an industrial area and some ok restaurant around (grill chicken place right next door, McDonald's). Nothing for tourist to do nearby.
