If you want to experience the real Tuscany, this is the perfect place. The landscape is absolutely beautiful, and it’s close to many charming small towns to explore. We loved every minute spent there. Breakfast was amazing — everything homemade and delicious. The room was very clean, the kitchen had everything you need. There is air condition only in the bedroom so the toilet and kitchen were quite cold during the few cold days we've experienced during our stay. The mattress was super soft and the pillows were thin. The breakfast is simple, local and good. The mattress and pillow.

• Cara (10/5): - Beautiful property in peaceful surroundings yet with close driving distance to many towns and villages to explore. The accomodation is full of character and spotlessly clean. We had apartment 1 and the views from our private terrace were amazing. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Delicious and good value for money dinner served onsite accompanied by excellent homemade wine from the surrounding vineyards. Would absolutely recommend and hope to return again.

Heel lekker ontbijt op een mooi terras. Alle faciliteiten zijn aanwezig en het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De kamer was kil, donker en wat vochtig. Het verblijf is ideaal in warm weer, want dan kan je de hele dag buiten zitten, maar als het regent is de kamer geen gezellige plek om lang in te blijven.

• Jaysson (10/5): - Poggio Alle Lame is a superb find. Incredibly warm and welcoming host and team, comfortable rooms, with air con, WiFi and all that jazz. It’s quiet, peaceful and rustic. If you’re looking for ultramodern glass and chrome - keep looking! But if you’re looking for comfortable, stylish, authentic Italian country hospitality, look no further. The setting is beautiful, a quiet hill top not far from a small town. There’s a fine, shady terrace to take breakfast and the fabulous home cooked dinners. Try the wine and oil produced on the estate. There’s a pleasant pool with loungers, shades, fine views over the Tuscan hills or just watch the lizards frolicking and basking. It’s 45 mins to downtown Firenze and about the same to Siena. A special word about Beatrice - owner and host. She’s fabulous, a forza of nature and an amazingly attentive and welcoming host. Highly recommended - you won’t regret it!

• Heidi (10/5): Zalige locatie, gerund door 2 supergastvrije dames! - Perfecte locatie! Zalige gastvrouwen die er álles aan doen om je verblijf zo fijn mogelijk te maken. Leuke welopgevoede hond ook 😉Heerlijk rustig aan het zwembad met prachtig zicht op het Toscaanse landschap. Wifi was niet altijd even goed maar in ruil krijg je rust.

Die Lage und der Ausblick sind ein Traum, wie man es sich für die Toskana wünscht. Das Essen war auch immer ausgezeichnet, wenn abends gekocht wurde. Zum Erholen perfekt und dennoch zentral genug um alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten gut zu erreichen. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt.

Das Frühstück war super gut und es gab genug Auswahl. Überdachter Parkplatz. Ruhige Atmosphäre. Lieben Dank an Beatrice für die schöne Zeit!

• Zuzana (10/5): - Úžasné místo, velmi ochotný a nápomocný personál, výborné snídaně i večeře. Dostali jsme dokonce lepší apartmán, než jsme si objednali. Jako bonus velmi milý pejsek hostitelů. Asi jedno z nejlepších ubytování, co jsme měli. Sem tam komár a mravenec v apartmánu. Nám to nevadilo, ale pokud jste na tohle citliví, tak zvažte.

• Kim (8/5): Top verblijf! - We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad bij Poggio Alle Lame. Beatrice en haar familie zijn zeer gastvrij en vriendelijk. We voelden ons direct thuis. Het zwembad was top en had een prachtig uitzicht. Iedere dag was er housekeeping om desgewenst je accomodatie schoon te maken en handdoeken te verwisselen. De aankleding van de kamers is enigszins gedateerd, maar de accomodatie was van alle gemakken voorzien (waterkoker, koelkast, airco, goeie douche, fijn bed enz). Ook was het fijn om bij de accomodatie te kunnen eten. Erg gezellig. De familie doet haar werk met passie. Wij zouden het zeker aanbevelen!

• Timo (10/5): Fantastische locatie, op prachtige plek met de liefste mensen van Toscane! - Het is een prachtige authentieke Toscaans huis op een fantastische locatie met prachtig uitzicht! En het ligt in het hart van Toscane met alle mooie plaatsen binnen uur rijden met auto. En tegen het Chianti gebied aan. Niet van toepassing, en als het dan iets moet zijn is het dat je je moet insmeren tegen muggen in de avond.

• Anna (10/5): Relax e natura - Abbiamo trascorso qui una settimana meravigliosa all'insegna del relax più totale. Il silenzio e la quiete del posto sono impagabili, immersi nella natura rigogliosa delle colline toscane. La piscina, pulitissima e con una vista mozzafiato, è stata il luogo perfetto per ricaricarci. L'appartamento era impeccabilmente pulito, molto riservato e silenzioso, ideale per chi cerca tranquillità e privacy. Beatrice e le sue figlie che gestiscono il posto sono state squisite: gentili, accoglienti, pronte ad aiutare e a dare buoni consigli su cosa visitare nei dintorni. Abbiamo acquistato anche dell ottimo olio di loro produzione! Un valore aggiunto..i dolcissimi animali: un cane e un gatto affettuosi e discreti che venivano a trovarci per giocare e stare in compagnia. Consigliamo questo posto a chiunque abbia bisogno di staccare dalla frenesia quotidiana e immergersi nella bellezza autentica della Toscana. Tutto perfetto!

• Arndt (9/5): Für uns der perfekte Toskana-Urlaub! - Ein sehr schönes Agriturismo auf einem Hügel gelegen mit einem weitem Blick über die Landschaft und Pool mit gleichem Panorama. Wundervolle Gastgeber. Bodenständiges aber sehr leckeres Essen, gutes Frühstück. Genau das, was wir uns gewünscht haben! Nichts!
• Ruth Friederike (9/5): Wunderschöner erholsamer Urlaub mit Suchtpotential! - Atemberaubender Blick vom Pool in die toskanische Landschaft - mehr braucht man eigentlich nicht. Fast immer freie Liegen, obwohl sehr viele Gäste da waren, aber es verlief sich gut. Sehr angenehme Gäste, freundlich und höflich. Die Ruhe und Weite waren fantastisch. Super WLAN, herrliche Terrasse. Und natürlich: Beatrice als Gastgeberin ist so herzlich und unkompliziert - allein wegen ihr lohnt sich die Reise! Eigentlich nichts. Nächstes Mal nehmen wir ein freistehendes Ferienhäuschen auf dem Gelände statt eines Zimmers.

Wij komen zeker terug. Perfect gelegen tussen Firenze en Siena. Niets!

• Dominique (10/5): Perfect stay with beautiful views. Really liked it here. - The view from the pool is amazing. The owners are warm and welcoming, and they make you feel right at home. The property itself offers great value for money. Everything was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The road to the agriturismo is easily accessible and can be reached without any problems, even with a sedan. If possible, I would recommend choosing one of the larger apartments. I highly recommend this stay.
• Antonio (10/5): Great location close to all places Tuscany - Upon arrival, we were greeted by Beatrice, a lovely lady who owns the vineyard. Amazing location if you like the Tuscany wine country. You can stay here and be everywhere within 1/2 hr to 1 hour short drive. The premises are built or expanded on an old family villa with a balance of modern and historical feel. Breakfast by the terrace facing the vineyards below, takes you into the movie "The gladiator", with beautiful nature all around you. Beatrice, the owner, is fully hands on, and will go above an beyond to make sure your stay is pleasant. There are some wear and tear at the location but you need to have an open mind and appreciation of where you are. This is a family run business with all the care of a service driven organization. Do not expect contemporary and shiny here, but expect culture, respect, excellent food, great ambience, favourable weather and easy and welcoming people.

The room was fully equipped with everything what needed – air conditioning, a fridge, and a hairdryer. Delicious, atmospheric dinners, a good breakfast selection, and stunning views made it feel like the heart of Tuscany. The location was perfect, and the large, well-kept pool was a great bonus.

• Brian (10/5): Great place to stay in Tuscany! - It was a great location between Florence and Siena for day trips. The facility was very clean and quiet. Amazing greeting with wine and a small snack. The family was very welcoming and friendly. They recommended their family restaurant located a few kilometers away. The food was so amazing we ate there all three nights. Safe to say, we really enjoyed our stay and if we ever travel back to Tuscany, we will be staying here again!

The breakfasts are good also. You feel like your stay at your grand’ma place! Charming people run that place. We would come again!

• Russell (10/5): - We were able to follow GPS to the location with no problem. It is a long narrow road to the house and is lined with olive trees. When we arrived, we were met by the owner. We said we were there to check in. She asked if we booked with Expedia and then mentioned our names. We were out of the office area yet she knew who we were. We were the only guest. She explained later they are usually closed for the season but allowed our reservation to continue as she had not removed it from Expedia. The views are amazing. We had the place to ourselves and lounged around the patio area overlooking the views. Rooms were nice, clean and decorated. We were visited by the owners cat and dog that hung around. We did walk the property and found the vineyards. Grapes had been licked already, but the sunset views were amazing. Due to being we did not dine there, but it is set up for breakfast and dinner if she is let know early enough that you wish to eat. Town was a short drive away. Dining and stores near by.
• Vincent (9/5): Lovely stay with 6 in a large and comfortable house, very central in Tuscany - We rented the house and stayed with 6 people. The house is large, plenty of space and privacy. The kitchen is great for cooking dinners. The area is quiet and views from the house are stunning
