• Nicole (8/5): - Von Außen wirkt es ziemlich billig und wenig einladend. Es liegt direkt an der Straße und auf dem Gelände ist Schotter verfüllt. Doch wenn man das Motel betritt, ist man erstaunt von dem gepflegten Interieur. Die Zimmer sind neu renoviert und alles ist sehr sauber und -nebst Bettwäsche - hochwertig. Man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Leider wird kein Frühstück angeboten, so dass man die hochpreisigen und mittelmäßigen Frühstücksrestaurants im Ort aufsuchen muss. Ein Hinweis in der Beschreibung des Hotels (darüber, dass es kein Frühstück gibt), wäre hilfreich gewesen. Alles in allem ist das Motel für ein bis zwei Nächte zu empfehlen.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Un bijou inattendu ! - Mon séjour au Motel Cofotel a été tout simplement parfait et a dépassé toutes mes attentes. Lors d'un voyage où l'on recherche confort et tranquillité, trouver un endroit comme celui-ci est un véritable trésor. La première chose que je dois souligner est l'hygiène et la propreté impeccables. J'ai eu l'occasion de voir deux chambres différentes et toutes deux étaient dans un état extraordinaire, soignées dans les moindres détails. On remarque le soin et le dévouement qu'ils mettent dans l'entretien, ce qui n'est pas toujours le cas. Chaque dollar payé est pleinement justifié par la tranquillité d'esprit que procure le fait de séjourner dans un lieu si propre et bien entretenu. Le deuxième point, et peut-être le plus mémorable, a été l'amabilité et la chaleur du personnel de la réception. Dès le premier instant, la personne qui nous a accueillis nous a reçus avec un sourire sincère et une attitude incroyablement agréable. Son accueil à la fois proche et professionnel nous a fait nous sentir les bienvenus et appréciés en tant que clients. En résumé, le Motel Cofotel est un exemple de la manière dont les choses devraient être faites. Il offre un rapport qualité-prix exceptionnel, garantissant un séjour confortable, paisible et, surtout, d'une propreté irréprochable. Sans aucun doute, je le recommande à 100 % et j'y retournerai lors de mon prochain voyage à Saint-Siméon.

Hostess was friendly and helped me with my broken French and explained in english and french. Very curteous!!!. Not many hotel amenities for the nightly price. Was not expecting more as it was not advertised to have it. A common microwave in lobby, no access to coffee other then the little ones in room (which are perfectly clean but lets face it in any motel dont really qualify as a decent cup). Maybe a keurig in the lobby with 2 pods in the room would be a better solution. 30 min toTaddousac for daytripping . Whale watching tour also in st Catherine 20 min away. Handful of restaurants less then 5 min walk away. Bottom line very clean, beds comfortable and air conditioning cold and staff friendly.

Then I was asked for an extra $20 charge to upgrade to a room and that you could walk out to the parking lot. I am allergic to dust mites and the room was full of it. I had a tough time sleeping. No one was at the checkout either so thats that.

Lawrence , Hotels.com suggested this hotel was a good option when I was looking for a place close to Riviere du loup. They are still charging me even thou i was not able to stay there. Not impressed, so be careful when looking at Hotels choises.

How could they charge without me authorizing them just a terrible experience. I don't suggest this to anyone specially who dont speak French.

We were worried we would hear traffic from the main road but heard nothing. Barely heard the people in the rooms beside us. Slept very well. We would recommend. Nearby grocery store and restaurants make for convenient location. Pool and hot tub are at neighbouring motel owned by same owner. Very quick walk there. Also very clean.

Also, staff should be more informed about restaurants, there are only à few lié 3 close. We recommencer "L'orchidée" in La Malbaie, about 30 minutes fromage there à 5 stars restaurant very affordable. We had an excellent trip for our 25th anniversaty
• Dina (8/5): Not so bad - I was not expecting a luxury hotel so for a tiny town, it was good. The only restaurants were fast food deli types. Nothing to do, nothing to see. Motel was clean, the lady at the reception was very friendly and helpful.
