Kayla (10/5): - This was a super cute, clean and comfortable stay. There isn’t much in Gwinn but at the same time it has everything you need. A few good restaurants, a Kwik Trip, and both a Family Dollar/Dollar Tree and a Dollar General if you are searching for anything for your trip. It is only 20 minutes from Marquette and saved us a hundred(s) in lodging. Nice cute little touches including popcorn and fresh fruit in the lobby. It was extremely quiet. Kelli was extremely welcoming and has worked hard to make this a lovely place to rest your head. Highly recommend!

I was stationed at the nearby base 30 years ago and loved the added touch original U.S. Air Force pictures, in their original frames, that the hotel acquired from the heritage society. The next time I travel to this location, I will stay here again. TY for an excellent stay!

Rita (10/5): Stayed a week at Model Towne Inn - The common places and our room were very clean. Beds were comfortable. Good water pressure and hot water for the shower. Fluffy towels. Nice continental breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful. Enough parking. Right off the highway but no noise from traffic. Discount at a few local restaurants.

We use the local airport about once a year and needed to stay close by for the early flight. We would definitely stay here again if we need to be nearby. There was a firepit burning outside when we arrived. It is cute! The hotel has a very patriotic theme.

Tara (10/5): - This was a surprising find. So clean! Im very picky and there was no vacancies at any of our normal hotels. We found this little gem and i couldnt have been happier. So clean. Rooms updated. All american style. Staff is hard working and kind. One downside was that there is plastic on the beds and it definitely gets to warm for this mentalpausal women! Lol! But the bed itself, very comfy. Would of lijed to had a bigger bed but non available. Great hotel.

John (8/5): Very Nice with a Couple of Rough Edges - Pros: Nice room with cute decorating. Very clean and comfortable. Cons: (1) Unusual absence of amenities typically found in hotel rooms these days such as a coffee maker (which meant there was no decaf coffee available in the building, even at breakfast) and lack of room hair dryer, although one could be borrowed at front desk. (2) When attempting to check out, some guests had to wait while the desk clerk smoked a cigarette outside and talked on the phone. Not a good look, especially during a busy time.

Everything is clean and neat. And the decor is excellent. Highly recommend if you are fortunate enough to be in this area of the country.

Upon calling the front desk my guests were frustrated with their treatment and were offered a discount which was frankly insulting. In my opinion i should not be charged.

Larry (10/5): - It is a small mom and pop type motel. The price was higher than I would have thought. On the way up to Gwinn I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express in Saginaw for $120 including tax. The Motel Towne Inn was $160.

Linda (10/5): The patriotic Inn - If you get a chance to stay at the Model Town Inn do it ! My husband and I stay there and was surprised we found. The room is very patriotic red, white and blue. The bed was very comfortable. And the AC works great. The breakfast is grab and go. and they have a popcorn maker !!! we will definitely stay again

My sinuses closed up the second we walked into the loby. And we ended up going to the store and buying pillowcases and a blanket. The sheets had such an overwhelming floral smell, you'd think the beds were sprayed with perfume. I had to take allergy medicine both nights we were there.

Place is very friendly to ATV and snomobilers providing them towels to clean up in the entryway. Location is out of the way for the general traveler. Went there because most hotels full in Marquette and those remaining were very expensive. Model Time was basic but reasonably priced.

Everything I needed for my one night work stay. No trouble with wifi. Kindly allowed me early check-in to accommodate a work scheduling issue which was really appreciated.

Verified traveler (8/5): Great Value - Never slept better in a motel. Don’t let the looks scare you off, the walls are thick and the beds are comfortable. Never heard so much as a peep from anyone else in the building, and slept hard all through the night including a massive storm. The ONLY downside was the lack of cleanliness in some areas of the room.

Verified traveler (4/5): Dont recommend - Not the cleanest. Off the beaten path. Only had 2 double beds and was charged extra because there was 2 people. No added ammendies to atest for the extra charge. Was posted that you get casino valchures. That didnt happen and the lady at the desk didnt even know where the casino was. There wasnt any soap or shampoo or any thing. The shower had hair in it and the wash rag given had a brown spot.
BryanR (8/5): - My wife and I arrived on a Saturday afternoon. We were greeted pleasantly and the check-in was easy. When we went up to our room, we noticed that the room seemed clean; it smelled nice, the beds were made, the floor was vacuumed, and the towels were fresh. When we wanted to check our online services, we found out that there was no internet in the room. We went down to reception to ask about it, and the person told us that there was a note that "internet in room 207 was very bad." They told us that there was nothing they could do for us. We tried the internet in the lobby, and that was very weak as well. So basically, there was no internet. At night, the motel was relatively noisy. However, that was due to other guests who were visiting at that time. After our stay, when we checked out bank statements, we noticed that the motel charged us twice. We called to ask about that, and they pointed out that they only have one charge on their statements. Let's see how this unfolds.
