Mary (10/5): perfect stay, for a perfect destination - Harbor Manor was quite impressive, and this is coming from someone who is a frequent leisure traveller. The rooms were spacious, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom and facilities were good, the staff were super friendly, and the location is simply perfect. This is right downtown, and only about a 15-minute drive to the main gate of the park. There are plenty of parking spaces, and free cookies in the afternoon!

Eichman (8/5): We’ll come back here. - Staff was excellent. Chris at the front desk was well informed, pleasant, courteous, and competent at juggling questions and room arrangements. The lobby’s snacks and coffee helped start the day. Clean rooms. Clean property. Easy walk to the town center. Excellent lower rates, given the off season late fall. We were there in the fall, right before many shops close or cut back. An interesting, quiet time. The TV offerings (cable channels, no apps) were modest.

The original host Christopher talked with me on the phone and insured our stay would be good and even relocated us to another inn that he felt would be more to our expectations. That is how we came to stay at the Bass Inn.The host and staff were very friendly. The room had everything we needed. The breakfast was excellent. The reviews for Bar Harbor Manor lived up to our experience, and we very much enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were very clean, water pressure was outstanding, and the breakfast (a grab-and-go) was the perfect start to each morning. We very much enjoyed speaking with Christopher and Sydney each morning, getting their knowledge and recommendations about the area. And Sydney was gracious enough to give us some ideas about our next trip to Texas. Wonderful staff.

Very clean. Very qiete place and great location to visit National Park and walking distance to restaurants and shops of Bar Harbor. Staff was super friendly. We used our own kitchen but they also offered extras - hot tea, coffee, warm cookies, snacks… A lot of space for parking. 100% choice to visit Acadia! All was great!

sweeth0mecar0lina (10/5): A home away from home! - We very much enjoyed the location of the Bar Harbor Manor. It’s not far from the restaurants and shops but far enough so that it’s a peaceful area. The Manor is a very relaxing and inviting place to stay. The rooms are very clean and smell fresh. I love the decor, very nautical and up to date yet cozy. It’s a quiet area and we were able to sleep well! The staff is very friendly and we can tell they take pride in their work. They are very willing to help with any needs. We have enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying again!

Culture00466263349 (10/5): Bar Harbor Adventures - I had the best time visiting Bar Harbor. Sydney and Christopher were amazing. The front office was always clean, warm, and fresh sweet treats were readily available. My room was very clean, and toasty upon arrival. I called before arriving to let them know about arriving late, Christopher had upgraded my room and gave detailed instructions on how to retrieve my keys and find my room. I cannot wait to visit again. Thank yall again so much for an easy, relaxing stay. 🤍

Neesew (10/5): Best Place to Stay in Bar Harbor - Hands down this is the best place to stay in Bar Harbor!! Constance, Sydney and Christopher are absolutely wonderful and made our stay so very enjoyable! From excellent restaurant and sightseeing recommendations to always being available if we needed anything at all, they were fantastic! There are fresh chocolate chip cookies every day, a great grab n go breakfast each morning and a large selection of teas, coffee & hot chocolate. Whenever I'm in Bar Harbor, this will be my go to place to stay! If you're planning a trip and wondering where to stay, your search is over.....this is the place!! You won't be sorry! Thanks again Constance, Sydney and Christopher - you exceeded our expectations and we had an amazing stay at your property!

The staff was very accommodating from the front desk who were fantastic to the housekeeping who kept the place immaculate. We are definitely coming back as our stay was very enjoyable thank you

Tiffany (9/5): A perfect home base to explore Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park - We Loved the location for our stay in Bar Harbour. I searched many listings to find a place that had a separate bedroom or sleeping area so that our 15 month old could have some space to nap and sleep while we were awake. When I found the kind suite I booked it right away knowing it was hard to find! We loved having our own entrance and the grassy yard area was great to let our little one run around while we drank our coffee. It would have been nice to have a door on the bedroom to fully separate the sleeping area, however it worked great for us even without it.

Expedition586152 (10/5): Location with the service to match! - This was our 3rd consecutive year staying at Bar Harbor Manor. And while we love how clean and spacious the rooms are, and how amazing the location is, what really keeps us coming back is the service we receive. Especially Christopher, we are excited every year to come back and see Christopher, it really is like coming to visit an old friend with him!! He never fails with his recommendations of places to go, things to see, and where to eat! And he thinks of all the little things that make your stay smooth and enjoyable! We can't wait to go back next year!

The location is perfect its easy to walk to shopping and restaurants. The rooms were clean and the balconies were nice to sit out on after a long day. I would stay here again.
