Guest Reviews
- Andrea (4/5): - The town had few options, so we chose this. It was tolerable, but outdated and not well maintained. Reasonably clean, but sorta smelly
- Rodger (10/5): - Was greeted outside and welcomed. The rooms were clean, and I walked barefoot without picking up dirt... :) The only complaint was that the T.V. had two remotes without instructions and did not work.
The owner was very hospitable and got us into our rooms quickly. I would highly recommend this motel.
- Danielle (6/5): Good price, clean - The owner/operator was very nice. The room was a little small, but I didn't care because all I needed it for was sleeping. They had the lights, a/c and tv on for me when I got there. The downfall for me was that it was easy to hear the people going up and down the stairs, talking outside and in the adjoining room.
- Brenda (10/5): Great little place - Always great service when we stay here! Theyre super easy to communicate needs with and the property is very clean. We also appreciate that its dog friendly
- Bob (10/5): - We got there very late but the owner was there to greet us. He was super friendly and helpful. Definitely stay again
- Phay (10/5): - Very impressed with the new owners!
They have updated everything and are very kind and friendly
- Nancy (10/5): - This was a wonderful place to stay. The price was reasonable. It was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. A gem of a place.
- Summer (6/5): - i liked the cleanness of the room
- Tamye (6/5): FYI - Hotel was small and could use updating. The room was clean and very small. I traveled alone and was comfortable enough but I would not think the room could accommodate more people per room comfortably. The staff I dealt with were polite and helpful. The price of room was certainly a bargain.
- Kenneth (8/5): good value - Great price ... especially for what I was in need of... Little flying bugs were in the room. Somewhat distressing.
- Phay (10/5): - New owner was super nice and the room was very clean.
- Carter (10/5): - Great!
- Jimmy (2/5): - Bed bugs. I told the guy when I checked out. Said he would check into it. Bed was definitely in need of tossing out.
- Victoria (10/5): - Work trip, multiple rooms and we had to extend our stay ever any issues. When I need 2 rooms for one more night and called from the job site he was booked up but he said he would see if there was any possible no shows and call me back. Within minutes he called and said he could accommodate us. Can’t say enough about welcome Justin made us feel. He went over and above in all areas to make sure our stay went smoothly!
Rooms are small but clean and updated. Shower pressure is great and beds comfy! Thanks Justin you’re the best!!
- Patrick (10/5): - Very friendly staff. Accommodating!
- Jim (10/5): - Host was friendly and kind! Highly recommend. Room was clean.
- Sheree (8/5): - The staff was very friendly and helpful. The property is old and they said they are in the process of remodeling, with four rooms already remodeled.. Unfortunately, I had one of the older rooms. We stayed here 3years ago and I will say the cleanliness and properly where much better this time. The rooms had new beds, bedding and towels. I look forward to my next stay when I will request one of the remodeled rooms.
- MATTHEW (10/5): - Good value for a clean, nice little motel. Would stay again!
- Nadie (10/5): - Clean room and friendly staff.
- Bonnie (10/5): - some upgrades would not hurt, the beds are old and stained and the room although clean had beetles and other insects.
- Tracy (8/5): - My only complaint is the bed. Too soft for my taste. Needs a better frame too
- Vanessa (2/5): - Terrible
- Roy (10/5): - Beds are a too soft.
- Bonnie (6/5): - Unfortunately the smell of weed was overpowering in the closed unaircondition hall. The air unit in the room was either freezing cold or sweltering, unable to find a comfortable temperature.
- Roy (8/5): - Beds way too soft. Otherwise super.
- Jody (6/5): - It was okay for staying one night. The electrical outlet for the blow dryer did not work. Had to get on my hands and knees to plug it in under the sink and to charge my phone.
- Ralph (10/5): - The room was extremely large and had an abundance of furniture. I also loved the walk in shower.
- robert (10/5): - Loved the quiet. The Staff was professional & friendly.
- Joshua (4/5): - The room smelled like chlorine at a swimming pool. The chain to the door was broken. The bathroom door wouldn’t close/lock. The bathroom/toilet is really tight. You have to raise your left arm while sitting on the toilet due to the position of toilet paper roll dispenser and the proximity yo the wall. The fumes from vehicles idling in the parking lot got sucked up into the room by the air conditioning unit. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Water pressure in the shower was good.
- Mark (8/5): - Nice, clean, and reasonable priced property.
- Judith (8/5): I would stay here again - Simple accommodations but the bed was comfortable, the air conditioner worked great and the rooms were clean.
- Verified traveler (6/5): A little disappointed - It's a no frills older hotel that is small. The room had a semi older mattress, good frig and microwave. The room is small, has a small round table and one plastic chair. Everything was clean. I wondered if some of the rooms were rented out. The property is well taken care of, quiet and it's a safe neighborhood next to tractor supply.
I wouldn't call this hotel a boutique hotel as the description states.
We had dinner at El Jimador Mexican food that was very good. This place is 5-6 miles from Robbers Cave State Park.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - good wifi , decent cable , poor housekeeping, no other amenities to speak of , tiny rooms ..it's what was available in Wilburton
- Verified traveler (8/5): - No complaints. Clean, quiet room. Gentleman at office was very helpful and friendly. Housekeeping staff proactively friendly and helpful, also. Quiet, clean place to stay on a budget.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Booked two single rooms with queen beds. Arrived and was told there would be a increase in price because they didn't have two rooms with a single bed. Only one room with single bed and another room with two queen beds. Only three cars in parking lot with 36 room motel. (some rooms were occupied by residents without vehicles). Coffee pot had coffee grounds in basket, carafe, and the water holding area of coffee maker. No new coffee or cups restocked for second night. Floor had not been vacuumed and grit stuck to bottom of feet. Bed "creaked" when sat upon or while Turing while sleeping.........Biggest complaint was the bate and switch at check in. Second night did have 4 extra cars in the parking lot.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was ok other than paper thin ceilings and squeaky beds upstairs it was a nice place to stay. Good location close to stores and food establishments. Friendly staff and clean rooms.
- Wesley (6/5): A place to stay for a night or two - Not too many choices in the town. I would say this is a place to stay while you traveling or at the state park. There is some maintenance that could be done to help. I went to open the shower curtain and the curtain rod fell on my head, it was just sitting on the tub wall molding. The hall smelt really bad of cigarette smoke but the room smelled ok. if i were staying more than a night or two i would not chose this Motel again. The frontdesk lady showed up to the window in her night gown at about 4 in the afternoon
- Rae (10/5): - The staff/owner was very friendly and made sure that I had everything that I needed. The room and decor was homey and clean.
- Shari (6/5): - Check in was easy. Beds were comfortable. There was a pile of dirt behind the bathroom door that had been there a while. Bathroom it’s VERY small!
- gene (10/5): - A good nights sleep. Clean room....... nice room........
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great place to stay. - This hotel was clean, comfortable and customer service was great. I would definitely stay here again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Was a very nice place to stay for the weekend. Would recommend it.
- Tom (8/5): - Most checkin is handled through window, but nice family-type outfit. Hotel is at back of Tractor Supply Company which took a while to figure out!
- Verified traveler (8/5): its alright - It was okay for a one night stay. Pretty clean with nice amenities. smelled like a little bit of weed in the hallway in the non smoking area. The office seems to always be closed.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice place in a nice little town. It is not a name brand place but it is clean and inexpensive.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - For $65/night (+ tax), you aren’t entitled to expect much, and the inn certainly provided that. Its sole significance is its proximity to the Talimena Byway (by some 42 miles). On paper, it appeared to be the best bang for the least bucks in that neighborhood. But it certainly isn’t a destination on its own. The lone staffer was personable and helpfully provided menus from the 3 local restaurants, themselves not destinations on their own. The ice machine worked! That’s no mean accomplishment on a 100° day. The A/C, except for the noise, was flawless as well. Nevertheless, by 3 am, we were ready to drive home.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Though the property was old it was well maintained, very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The staff were very nice and accommodating.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The rooms were clean, well maintained & the beds were comfortable.
- Jeremy (4/5): - This place is run down, dated, dirty, and all in all the only 2 things positive I can say is the bathtub was clean and the guy at front was friendly. Otherwise I didn’t let anything touch the floor.
- David (8/5): Basic but solid. - Decent, basic hotel in a small town. Not far from necessary services (gas & food). near releveant state highway. Decent wifi. It fit my needs.
